I know what you mean and how you're feeling. When I finished watching ISWAK, I was in a depressed mode for over a week. I didn't feel like doing anything but to rewatching ISWAK over and over. And I always think about Joe too....even had a dream about him. Haha...it's like why can't I have a guy like ZS/Joe???It was total obsession.......but it's been better now. It's just a phase....it was go away. Haha...and when ISWAK 2 comes out....we will all be obsess again.

Same here! I was quite sad too. I kept rewatching the last 2 epsidoes cuz it was so good!!! ISWAK left me craving for me. I am happy to know that you guys really miss the drama like me.

WOw,applemashi, you actually dreamt of Joe??! I wish I could too but then I haven't dream of anything for a long time. Won't it be awesome if Joe comes to this forum and see what we wrote? lol..You know, at first when I found out about the real Joe's personality, I got to admit I was alittle disapointed bc I love ZS more, his character was too cool. But now, the more I see him in shows etc, I had changed my mind once again, I really like him, he may not be that cool in real life but he's very funny. Such a cheerful, happy guy. SO real. His personality is so different than ZS but he was able to act out that character so well. Which really means he is a great actor.

A lot of people thinks that Joe's real personality is the exact opposite of ZS (myself included), but Joe did once say that he has a quiet side also. He likes to make people happy and is not that willing to show his sad/quiet side to his friends. Sometimes I think that the other side of Joe is the personality of ZS. Now, wouldn't that just be perfect. Joe is so real and is not fake like other celebrities, he doesn't pretend to have a perfect image on screen.

That's interesting..his quiet side like ZS..and his other side is a fun loving type..whoa..where can you find a guy like that?? Oh you know, Joe's laugh grows on me..lol..It's really cute. I know many ppl commented that it's loud but to me, his laughters are always full of happiness and energy! Just seeing him laugh, makes me smile too. I saw on Joe's forum that this girl was so lucky to met him and he was nice enough to took the picture with her despite his manager or someone insisting no time. His friends seem to be nice too, Ethan and Mike. I really wonder how they handle their fans during school time.

erm i think everyone will have both quiet and noisy side. u cant expect noisy ppl to be noisy when they are with 1 or 2 friends only right? so its not that rare to be both quiet and noisy.

i finally watched episode 20. This is such a good series. The acting wasn't over the top. Also, it didn't start fun and end really depressingly like a lot of shows. It was fun all the way through. although i wish zs showed more affection, i realise that wouldn't fit his character (although he was soo cute in the last two episodes..gah) Ariel Lin played xq really well, I was really impressed especially in comparison to love contract...she's really an amazing actress, they were such different characters and she is very convincing. hahaha thanks for everybody in this topic, i usually have a hard following a series to the end, especially if i have to wait every week to see a new eppie. i usually just give up on the show. but this was soo interesting, i actually looked forward to waiting. lol

hmmm for me I don't think his personality is opposite of ZS though ... I think his real personality is ZS I don't know why I have this kind of feeling though .... even though I saw all his show in real life with funny, laughing, joking around but still I don't think it his real personality .... I feel his shyness side though ..... & I think he is quite though ... but is not as cold as ZS ... hmmm is weird I don't know why I feel that way though ... when I saw him is just reminding me of someone I know that's why I love him so much seen I first notice him in The Rose .... make more curious & just wanna know more about him it so weird ... never have this kind of weird though for any actor or actress before though ....... even though I found Mike is handsome & hot but I my heart just fall on Joe ..... I finally finished "It Started With a Kiss"! I finished it in less than a week. I watched this after Love Contract...so I mainly watched this because of Ariel Lin. All I can say is... there are definitely parts I really like about this drama and parts I don't like so much. I think Ariel Lin is quite talented. In Love Contract, she portrayed such a .. tomboy character but also sensitive. She amazes me again in It Started with a Kiss because her character is so different. She's stupid, sensitive, yet quite brave. Although I usually do not like Xiang Qin characters much... I think Xiang Qin type of character was okay in this drama. As for Zhi Shu, Joe didn't make me attracted to him much. I much rather prefer Ariel with Ken, were they were laughing and having such a good time a lot of the time in Love Contract. I do think Zhi Shu is funny sometimes.. but I don't like his eyes a lot of the time. I know a lot of time the "bored", "I don't care" look" is in his character, but I wanted to see a little change in his eyes when he is with Xiang Qin in the end. Overall, it was a very funny series. I liked how the ending was very creative and it ended kind of different from most series. My favorite scene probably had to be Zhi Shu admitting his love for Xiang Qin in the rain. This series was much better than Green Forest, My Home. I was a big fan of Green Forest at the beginning, but it went very down after the first few episodes. This series was different.

Yes agree, this is a very nice show, alongside shows like Devil Beside You. Though it doesn't really follow the original manga at some parts, I still like the show for the character development and some parts are actually quite sweet and touching.
I also fell in love with Joe Cheng after watching this!

I asked in the shops today and nope - they aren't out yet and i really want to watch it again - very addicted to it. The characters are just soo loveable and joe is sooo cute - both with straight and curly hair!!!! and ariel with her imaginary mind -its really funnie.

I was having doubt at first to watch it or not since I never really watch any Taiwanese drama except for MG, which was few years ago. Three weeks ago, I was bored and got nothing to watch, went on to the Taiwanese section of this forum and I saw so many post messages on ISWAK. I figure it shouldn't be so bad. It turned out better than I thought it should be. Actually, it's so good that it's like my favorite idol drama right now. Because of ISWAK, I started to watch other series.

I would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed if part 2 was HORRIBLE! xD omgosh! I don't even want to talk about MG2! It was totally pointless & stupid! Anyways, I agree that Ah Jin needs to find someone else--because it's really sad! T___T As much as I disliked Ah Jin, he was actually really sweet and it would be too sad if he didn't have someone else! xD

I personally thought the characters were a little weird too but i still loved the series!

The thing i thought was weird is ZS's character. Like in the begining, he was so cool, collective and like so serious but at the end, he actually agreed on wearing the wedding dress? lol I mean it was cute and interesting but a little unrealistic. I guess Xiang Chin really changed his character but I just thought it was a little weird when you think about it.

The series overall was very entertaining. I lovee ariel and Joe
but, up to till i think, DEvil is still my favourite

I think the ISWAK dvd is available on Yesasia, but it's kinda expensive though. I also want to know if they will include anything special or something that has not been shown on tv yet. If they have that, I'll buy it for sure. SIgh.......I guess this is the second Sunday without ISWAK and it still feels weird not having that excitement on Saturdays.

tigren: I think crap is such a harsh word to use for describing this drama. I can name 100 dramas that's more suitable for the word crap. And please explain which part is crap.....all ISWAK fans would like to know what made you think that way. No offense to you and we all respect your opinion but please provide examples of what made you have this conclusion of ISWAK.

haha...yes, it was weird but very memorable, right? I think this is the first series that has ever done that, to have the male and female swap clothings, it's definitely different from others.

ya i think that was REALLY effective because i will never forget their marriage scene..
as XQ said i want my wedding to be the BEST memory ...and im sure it is for her...

as fer the extra 3 part bit at the end....in the beginning i actually had NO CLUE wut they were doing until i watched the special and they compared the original scenes to the one ISWAK had...haha...

i live in the U.S. and where i live there are barely any asian ppl too!! lolll usually i have to go to nyc to get dramas but it takes them sooo long to get dramas. downloading is much faster for me.

I've started watching this drama and I really like it. I've seen the last few eps too and I think it's really funny but...does it bother anyone else that Xiang Qin is so...dumb? I mean, there's parts that show that she's not REALLY dumb (like making it to the top 100 list) but she's still pretty...dumb. I really don't know what other word to use. I mean, according to the eps and the manga, Xiang Qin's only redeeming quality is that she's persistent. Like...that's it? It just frustrates me a little bit and then that part on the bus when's she's being felt up by TWO perverted guys? I mean, why didn't she yell or scream or hit them or anything? She just stood there, taking it and hoping Zhi Shu would do something.

I guess I can't help but compare her to Shan Cai from MG. I mean, Shan Cai isn't that smart either but she's had a lot more going for her. Then again, I guess that's what makes the series funny...I still like it tho, just a little frustrated.

I really liked this series. This is the second taiwan series iv seen. FIrst one was meteor garden. Actually the third since i saw part 2 of metoeor which was a waste of time. This series is so funni iv never watched a series that doesnt speak canto yet made me laugh that hard. The storyline is super but the ending was the best. Really good writer there. A must watch for sure.

When i first watched ep 1 over at youtube.com, i thought it was quite draggy.. but since i was bored, i decided to watch ep 2.. and since then, i've been stuck on it until the end of the series. This is the kind of series that simply grows on you. I really enjoyed watching it.

btw, anyone got the song 'quan shi jie de ren dou zhi dao' inside ISWAK OST? It's the song that represents Xiang Qin's one-sided love in the show.. and i've been looking for it.. if anyone has it, could they please please please send it to me? PM me if you have the song ><!
