I'm sure many of you here have watched ISWAK...me too..but just to ask one part of the drama...in episode 12 Zhi Shu said he wanted to study Medicine because he wanted to be a doctor in future..was his decision influenced by Xiang Qin? because previously Xiang Qin said that she would like to see him be a doctor so that he could heal many people's illnesses...so he wanted to be a doctor because she said that?

well at first when he first knew XQ, he was a person without any ambition in life cos he can do everything so well... after he met XQ, she was the only one he can confide in... he was not influenced by XQ... but more like he was "woken up" by XQ... it is thru her that he finally realised what is the thing that he always wanted to do... that is to be a doctor

well... thats my interpretation of the story...

i agree with jadefragrance, i think XQ's words just woke up him and make him realized what exactly he wanted to be..

well from what i gathered in the series is that he wanted to be a doctor from eps 10?? when he was wearing that yellow jacket and wanted to move out and his mum slapped him. He only told xq this and was still unsure but in eps 12 after arnold being ill etc that xq really made him want to be one.......this was slightly different from the manga version cos it would of been volume 12 when xq says he would be a really good doctor cos he's so smart etc. in the manga it was definatley xq that influenced him to be a doctor but in the series xq was supporting and encouraging him.

hmmm sorry got a little confused!!! the yellow jacket part is in eps 14 when he tells xq he wants to be a doctor but im sure he wanted to be one before that........and then xq reinforces the idea by encouraging him etc with the book as christmas present.....how would she no what book to buy if she didnt think he wanted to study medicine/become a doctor.

this is a very cute show, hilarious and well executed. but here's what i find disturbing.

the people who groped/grabbed xiang qin on the bus - wtf??? i understand that this was done for comedic value - but seriously, what's up with these people? if you were groped on the bus, would you just stand there and hope it would end?

aside from this point, this is a great series.

yea, i was like 'wtf' when i saw. but it's a series, what do i expect? other then that, i totally love this series! i even go my friend addicted to it too! >;D

That part was disturbing. And I can't believe XQ just stood there and hoped to fight them off by just wiggling it. It was disgusting.....ZS should have gave them a punch in the face!

haha.....i would have love to see ZS be a little physical. but i guess he's the type that uses verbal attack on others....and he's damn good at that.

i thought that part when XQ's was grabbed on the bus not too weird cause her character not too brave like San Chai.. n i remember she said when she was grabbed by the perverts, she just cannot move, maybe she's too shocked
this scene also want to make us to see the change in ZS's behavior to XQ, he became to protect her, that's so sweet before he even didn't want to look at her.. that's my interpretation

I juss finished the series, SOOO GEWD!!! I love the wedding video thing, it was really cute cuz u culd tell dat ZS really didn wanted to do it. The wedding scene was really cool, that skateboard guy looked really cute in that gown actualli... hehe... n i was cracking up when i saw ZS in his gown... LOL he looked so reluctant and angry but it was still sweet cuz he did it to prove his love, thats BIG love there cuz i bet u no american guy here would ever do that for their girlfriends... heck no guy anywhere would ever do dat...

the second to last episode made my heart skip so mani times, especialli in the rain scene... i was like rooting for joe on my couch... it was really good to see ZS's character actualli act so sweet to XQ in the end (like the whole sleeping together scene), it was so cute!

i think that this was a really good series, im actualli kinda sad dat its over.... but i had my fair shares of tears, laughs n awwwwwws, it was good, i enjoyed this series a lot

This serie is always good. They planned to film part 2, and i think it's coming out at year 2007. Oh gosh, i can't wait. Really love the hilarious parts in the serie and of course, the kissing and the sweet parts.

i just finished the last episode and i thought the spoof of the mv at the end was pretty funny. the original idea of the mv is sweet but the spoof was better. lol. cant wait for ISWAK 2!!!!!!!

episode 10. in the hotel when XQ embraces ZS behind the back. she says that even though she's not smart, "has a flat chest", and unable to cook, she'd try really hard to meet ZS's expectations.

she's such a funny klutz - this is the first time that i had heard someone confessing that she is small-chested. as if ZS wasn't aware of XQ's physique! i must wonder how Pei Zi Yu "stacks" up to XQ. haha.

i think the director is trying to follow the comic... except in the comic.. when it happened the 1st time.. XQ turn around n scold the pervert.. but the pervert said something like.. "you must be crazy.. i where got touch you... ".. den when it happened again.. XQ just stood there as she can't move away with her whole body being cramp.. den ZX come n like save the day....

but i still feel the scenes are disgusting... i mean .. they can just put dialogue with XQ saying her butt is being touch n not put the scene where her butt is being touch... really disgusting...just this few scenes n oh ya.. the ending where joe is wearing the wedding dress... OMG.. "puke"

I LOVED IT SO MUCH i laughed cried.. WHATEVER none stop. i think its because i love joe cheng... i mean who doesn't?! but i don't want to watch the rose... HIS HAIR LOOKS SO BAD.. AGH!

ISWAK is so good! Just finished watching it and there are so many cute and sweet parts. I really like the part where ZS comes back from the company party to spend xmas with XQ. He also bought her fried chicken and a cake, so sweet of him!

i totally agree i was thinkin how could she aactually let a man touch her on her bum and chest like that!!! but in the special it showed that it was a woman actually doin the touching so i guess its not too bad when u realise it was all safe and good!!

i didnt mind zs wearing the wedding dress but thought maybe they could of shown more scenes of them standing up in the wedding shop cos then the viewer could see how beautiful xq looked and 'shui' zs looked!!!

heh his laughter did scare me the first time i saw it during the ISWAK NG scenes... so loud and unglam... totally unexpected from someone who is a model and is supposed to be glamorous haha...

but after watching a few more of his laughters in other TV shows... i am rather used to it... it seems to be like his trademark already... i remember he once said in some show that he was named by reporter to be the only idol who totally do not care about his image... haha

but i hope his laughter will not appear in ISWAK2... i will freak out if ZS laughs like that cos that is so un-ZS haha
