I started rewatching ISWAK from the beginning today and I had totally forgot how cruel and cold ZS used to be. The first time XQ was harassed on the bus, I believe Joe actually knows but he didn't do anything about it. And when XQ confronted ZS, all he said was it might be XQ's misunderstanding and the pervert might have touched her by accident. Arghhhh.....ZS is so mean, he shouldn't have said that even to a stranger. So far, I've rewatched up til 5 eps and I don't like ZS.

omg! i just read the summeries for iswak2 it's so good!!! to bad i wont find out if xiangqin(kotoko) is pregnant or not!!! gosh i wish that there was an ending... they make such a cute couple!!!

Yey! I finally got a copy of ISWAK! though it just China version but it's still good! Man, i just watched this drama for like 11 times already and never get tired of it! I've got the dl version though and burned it to vcd but my cousin is from china so i asked him to get me a dvd copy of ISWAK. The subtitle is kinda off though! I'ts like direct translation of everything they've said so the grammar is so off but still ok! Man, really can wait for ISWAK 2.... oh btw, there's a thread here in AF that you can read the first episode of ISWAK 2. I'ts really really good! after reading the first epi.. really really can't wait for ISWAK 2!

I just started watching this show and I'm currently on episode 7. From what I have seen so far, its really good.
ZS does seem really cruel so far. He seems to be always making fun of XQ.

sg has only VCD version which im ok with though i would prefer DVD.
if not im thinking of getting the china DVD version over yesasia. only lyk $10+ more than the sg VCD.

the VCD set that is sold in singapore is the complete set... i bought it so i know heh...

THAT part was HILARIOUS!!! =) hehe, XQ's dance is sooooooooooo FUNNY---it's another reason WHY ISWAK is SOOOOOOOO awesome!! ^___^ Of course, the ENDING was soooooooooooo freaken unpredictable! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the scenes from The Rose!! Because just so happens, I watched the MV with Selina and Joe—that’s why I liked it. If I never saw it, I was would be like “what the heck??” LOL

And Ariel looked so funny..the way she put put her tongue and the hands..so kawaii!! Haha yeah then later in the cab the taxi driver thought they were actors from "The Chinese Ghost Atory"..you know the Xiao Qian and Ning Cai Chen story...haha because ZS is the student and XQ is the ghost...haha very funny~even Joe and Ariel also laughed quite a bit at that part when they were mistaken

ZS was TRYING SOO hard NOT to laugh..which made it even funnier...
till the end the taxi driver STILL didnt believe them.. he was like ya ok SURE..

I love how they incorporated the bloopers into the series, it just makes it more natural and hilarious. I heard Ariel was even surprised by her ghost make up too...she just looks so funny in her costume and of course Joe looks handsome as always.

LOL, i really liked that costume party scene. i couldn't stop laughing when XQ looked in the mirror!

everyone says DBY is not as good as ISWAK & i totally agree cos it's so stupid & theres no tearing & crying moments & this is the only drama i've ever watched that i dont want the 2 main characters to end up together & i think it's really disgusting with the brother & sister issue. so can anybody tell me if DBY gets any better? im at episode 8 & in ISWAK, by the time it was at eppy 8, tons of things have happened. DBY is moving really slow & i find mike he really ugly with his hair & yuan yi is alot better looking. there's no charisma b/w the characters.

actually DBY is GOOD but just NOT AS GOOD AS ISWAK!!!!
hahah i actually cried in DBY...esp in the last few eps.
DBY gets better just keep watching.

i just finished watching this series as well..and i must say that it was really good..i stayed up all night cuz i was hooked!!..i can't wait till season 2, i hope they'll keep the same cast..

This drama was really awesome. I really like how the characters were played so well. 2007 is so far off.

the hospital kiss was kinda disappointing.. you're right he did miss the lips.. it was more like a kiss on the cheeks... near the lips but not on the lips.. when i was watching it for the first time i was thinking -wtf that wasn't a real kiss.. he should have done better!! lolz although i love that part.. it gave me a cute goosebumps.. rar!

Yes, Barbie starred in a series remake of the story..it was previously made into a number of movies starring Zhang Guo Rong...it's a very famous ghost love story~Very touching..haha yea the taxi dirver was referring to that~

I just finished the last episode .. it was so funniee' in the wedding video when Ariel thought of the idea [of having the guys dress in gowns and the girls in tux] &&' started laughing . LOL . hahaa .. they looked so good and funniee' in the opposite clothing .

i like joe's character cuz he's lost.. like me.....he didn't figure out wat he wanted to do in life until alreadi in college.....and he's smart..not that im smart...

There are many parts in ISWAK which are unforgettable!!Haha the hospital kiss is so sweet!!Just that Joe didn't kiss Ariel on the lips... which I was kinda anticipating...but the marriage scene is cute!!Haha Joe looks funny in wedding gown, because he's so tall! Haha that must be one of the longest wedding gown I've ever seen!! :loool:But I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the part when finally XQ initiated the kiss..she held ZS's head and *muaks* haha

that ghost episode is one of the best episode ever!! and the ones when she spent her christmas alone but then zhishu went home with cake. he knew chocolate was her favorite but he said it was the last one.... this drama is the best!

im tossing up between this series and mars... i know mars is a little old but i heard it's really good..
and i read a bit about this one and this one sounds good too...
