Actually I can't really say which one is better because BOTH are really good~

because these two dramas are a different type and style altogether..First for directors wise both directors are very famous in Taiwan; they received wide accolade for their works~

MARS is more of a sad story I should say, although the ending is a happy one but if you know the story it is about a girl who has some phobia and bad memories so she's very uptight and closed up to other people...then the male lead, Ling, went into her life, he saved her from other bullies and they began a romance...but Ling has a twin brother who died after committing suicide...then it became a haunting memory..hm I just gave a brief overview you have to watch it. It's really good, the story is nice and touching too~There is quite a number of intimate scenes in it~

As for ISWAK,it is more of a happy n comical kind of show, the characters are cuter and it is more light-hearted~Anyway, both are great~You should watch both! Haha

I'm currently rewatching up til eps 12 and just saw the hospital kiss, still wish ZS would have kiss XQ on the lips, but I'm sure there must be a reason why he didn't. haha...and YS's expression was so funny too. Afterward, he was trying to convince himself that ZS didn't do it, and that he must have not been himself when he did it. Haha....so funny.

I finished to watch this drama and I liked it very much! I laughed so much

Ariel is funny in all her expressions and Jo is very nice

Zhi Shu's mom is fantastic and I found the dog so lovely

It's a very, very nice and funny serie!

and everytime i listen to the songs..it reminds me of the scenes in ISWAK!!

cant believe i still havent gotten over ISWAK yet..
haha...itz been so long.this proves that the series was SUPER good !!!

Hmm I agree I loved that part. It was so sweet! I listen to the OST evey single day. I never get tired of it! Lara sings really good. =]

& i think the characters in ISWAK had more charisma than the characters in DBY. they shouldnt waste their time & money to remake a sequel of DBY, yet spend all that energy on a BETTER drama & rainie looks too immature & i heard shes a jerk in real life.

OMGOSH, def. ISWAK!!!!!!

Sorry, but I didn't like Mars! >< I couldn't stand watching it after the FIRST episode. The reason is because I've READ the ENTIRE manga before watching the series...and let me tell you this. The MANGA is 1000000000000000000000000000000000x time better than the series. The series is

. The WHOLE time I was criticizing how much it was different. I know that I shouldn't, but seriously...the MANGA is better!!!!

Anyways, ISWAK is FUNNY, SWEET, CUTE/ADORABLE....Mars is just tooooo dark for my taste and not as funny. AND, it's my OPINION, but Barbie and Vic really isn't CUTE-----JOE AND ARIEL is THE CUTEST COUPLE EVER!!!!!!

I agree, why have to choose between one when you can watch both. Hehe....but I would definitely recommend ISWAK first because it's just so good. ZS and XQ are way too cute!

I agree with Crunchster!! It's actually REALLY REALLY CUTE when he show no emotion for her!!!

Secretly, he likes her but doesn't want to say anything. hehe, it gets 10000000000000x better later!

So DON"T GIVE up watching it!!

I think one of the most interesting part of ISWAK is how we all are waiting for ZS to confess his love to XQ. And after what all XQ has done, it just makes it that much better that ZS has finally admitted he likes her too.

I love this series

I play the soundtrack over and over again and then go to youtube and watch the videos of all six kissing scenes over and over again. I need to find time to re watch the series...its been such a long time since I've watched a series that I really enjoyed and want to watch it again even though I know the outcome

btw Anyone have news about ISWAK 2?

yeep i have to agree this series is good. i am so into it now i am buying the manga but what a waste the manga only stop at vol 23. The author pass away before she completes the manga.

Yeah!!The kiss scenes are unforgettable!!!

I can watch them over and oner again without feeling tired of them!!Haha I agree, ZS has good feelings towards XQ even when he's feeling angry or loos so cold towards her~

If you're referring to the girl on the end of the left side, then that's Zi Qi, she is Pei Zi Yu's little sister. She also likes ZS, but then later dates Zhang Wu Ren.

i've just started this like a few days ago..and its great!

ive just finished ep 11.. the bed scene was SO funny.. lol.. XQ's legs were all over ZS.. and after XQ woke up, ZS was like ur sleeping state is very ugly, and XQ was like, no its very "lady-like"...

haha until he didn't manage to sleep well..haha that is soo funny!!There are also many moments in ISWAK that are soo cute! I like the bathroom scene toO! Hehe they looked so sweet! and Ariel kept laughing like mad..and the tennis match when ZS carried XQ after she couldn't walk from her ankle injury..aww....ans the part when XQ day-dreamed about ZS teaching her to play tennis....and they wore couple tennis clothes....aww..so sweet couple!!

xCHELLy: I was once not interested in this series too. I remember after watching eps 1 I said this is just a copy cat of DBY. Haha...boy was I wrong. This is soooo good and it's nothing like DBY. Hehe...everyone should watch ISWAK.

PFT is just as good as ISWAK! I still have my favorite above all of those though, The Outsiders, haha!
