i agree.. Mars was short in a way and it wasnt as bad.. i liked it =] watched it on tape keke tho there was alot of repeats in a way.. like da scenes were kinda da same at some points buh i still liked it

oh.. so sad.. i still had hoepd and prayed that they would make a longer series, including the parts after their marriage... since the japanese version was quite short as well.. according to the manga, the storyline is quite funny after their marriage as well!

Did anyone find the beginning of episode 1 really similar to DBY? At first, I thought it was a copy cat of DBY because I didn't read the manga for this. Hopefully this will be different and good.

I just saw the first episode... the love letter section was too much like DBY, I do agree. I'm guessing it will be like a typical TW romance drama. I hope the plot will be more interesting. The episode was only 43 mins. I was hoping it will be like DBY and Prince/Frog. They were each more than 1 hour long. It got interesting at the end.

I've watched ep 1 and so far, its no surprises. perhaps its cos an intro for the main cast. As the ep 2 preview shown, there'll be more of ariel and xiao zong and i can't wait to see them both more in this drama.

regardless how many ep it has, so long as the storyline is captivating and interesting, then its a good drama. i hate dramas purposely add a few more eps cos of good ratings and neglect the whole neat plot of the dramas.

just watched the first episode today and some parts are really funny.. i haven't read the manga nor watched the japanese version of it... i think it was pretty good so far, and i am definitely looking foward to the second episode... heard from my frd that the tw version is quite close to the original manga.... and the parts that were added weren't bad too...

OOH.. i like joe cheng from the Rose.. gotta watch this one!!! haha. haven't seen the manga yet.. hope JOe has a good character

awww i can't wait til esp 2 to come out.. are they going todo exactly like the manga or the japanese version??? because it seem so short if they do it like that... i want more detail...

they're following the manga version but i believe they are stopping it once they get married....not going to go into their married life and etc.



i personally like the series so i definitely recommend.... yes it is showing every sunday. but starting oct 1, it's going to air on another channel... every saturday.

its a shame actually, not going into the marriage part..

hopefully with good viewership in TW, they will film the extended part. haha..

well the japanese drama didn't really go into the married life either. i really hope this will be good since i really liked the version with kashiwabara takashi and sato aiko. however, i don't know about the main characters for this one. ariel doesn't really look goofy enough. and joe, though he can act very cool, just doesn't project the same image as kashiwabara. hopefully the drama will be good, though.

I'm looking forward to see this show, I like Ariel Lin, hope she makes a good job in this series

i just watched the first episode and wow... it is sooo CUTE~!!! i find it really silly and fun and plus... Joe looks suuuuper sexy in his uniform and pretty hair hehe.

most of the tw series is based on mangas nowadays...why? is it because they can't write good stories by themself?

I don't know the right answer to that question…. But being that I have been watching tw series for a really long time, I think they bank on their popularity already (the hype is already there - no need for them to create it). And probably cause they can't come up with another original story. Truth is a bunch of chinese tv (tw, china, hk) series are based on novels or manga or other literature that is already been written, and there are a lot of remakes too. But in the US, for example, it’s the same thing. A lot of movies based on best-selling novels or comic books - and tons of remakes. Could be a bad thing, could be a good thing… but, it still in the hands of the producers etc to show us how they bring novels/mangas to the screen. So there can still be a lot of room for creativity and innovation there. I agree that it's really hard to be better than an original.

I just started watching this series so I don't have a comment yet, but I don't watch J-series or read mangas so it's pretty fresh for me.

yeah.. but sometimes, dramas that are based on mangas tend to be a bit overexaggerated.. especially the actors/actresses way of acting.. (look at rainie in DBY) but this show is good!! so i don't care!

Ah Li and his wife welcome Ah Cai and Xiang Qin warmly into their house, but Zhi Shu and his brother, Yu Shu were very unfriendly towards them. Xiang Qin is thus worried that the place she has landed herself in is not so simple.

Ah Li Sao requested that ZS go to school together with XQ and ZS agreed relunctantly. However, on the way to school, ZQ warns XQ to keep mum about the fact that they are now staying under the same roof. When XQ met with a molester on the tram, ZS totally ignored XQ's pleas...

An angry XQ could not believe that the guy she was infatuated with for the past 2 years is such a cold-blooded person. She is so angry that she announced her determination to re-write history and become the first student from the F class to make it to the top 100 list(exam results). XQ studied late into the night, but seemed to have made no progress. Ah Li Sao made supper for XQ and showed her the photo of young ZS in girl's clothing excitedly. Looking at the side of ZS's dark secret, XQ hatched a plot. She used the photo to threaten ZS to tutor her and hence ZS has no choice but to tutor XQ every night. Initially when they started studying together, the atmosphere was charged, but slowly, there were some mild changes...

When the results were announced, XQ failed to make it to the top 100 list by a difference of one mark. She was disappointed, but was still glad that ZS did not affect his own grades even though he stayed up to tutor her for the past few nights. He still managed to top the chart with a brilliant score of full marks.

Even though XQ did not make it into the top 100, she still created a record in the history of F class and was hence named "the Zhi Shu of F class". AJ felt that something was amissed and followed XQ home after school, thus exposing the fact that XQ was "staying together" with ZS. XQ's classmates broadcasted this news to the school, making ZS displeased. He asked XQ not to disturb his life anymore and XQ discovered that even though ZS was so mean to her, she still likes him...

ZS accidentally saw the love letter XQ wrote to him previously and his attitude towards her changed gradually. The next day, when XQ met with a molester on the tram again, ZS helped her out...

On Sunday, Ah Cai and XQ specially prepared a meal for ZS's family. XQ's horrible cooking skills gave Ah Li Sao yet another chance to pair her up with ZS. ZS rejected her suggestion, leading to a quarrel between him and XQ. In the midst of their argument, ZS read out the contents of XQ's love letter. An embarrassed XQ got so angry that she slapped ZS, causing the situation to get out of hand...

ZS spotted AJ outside the house and purposely mentioned that it is not impossible for them (XQ and ZS) to get married in order to spite him. The next day, it was all over the school's notice board that XQ and ZS had decided to get married...
