I noticed that Zhi Shu has the awful habit of always staring down and leaning into XQ..either to intimidate her or to pretend he's going to take advantage of her [like that time when she wanted to borrow his homework and copy it]...i wish XQ will stay still one day and perhaps ZS will end up accidentally kissing her.

I also hope that Ah-Jing will get the upper hand one day, though I doubt it would happen. Guess i will have to be content with that graduation/wedding ceremony scene with Ah Jing imagining ZS practically frothing at the mouth at the sight of XQ and Ah Jing being married. hahaha. I replay that scene everytime I think ZS is being too much of a butt.

Just finished episode 6 and I liked how they condensed the two test-taking scenes from the manga into one--i think it was very smooth and well done. [ It would have been very funny, though, to see that test-taking scene from the manga where all this bad luck happens to Naoki/ZS because of Kotoko/XQ's charm..]

Watching ZS being mean over and over again to XQ is just really frustrating.. I was like "WHAT A S.O.B!!! You'll get it from her one day! You stupid ignorant!!" I can't believe it's episode 8 next week, only 6 more episodes.... But i will be patiently *i doubt it, though* waiting till the day where he's gonna be all over her and be lovey-dovey towards her. Now, I really want them to continue with the 2nd part of the manga.. I'm pretty sure there's bunch of us out there who wants the same thing. I wonder if the producer will give this a thought, or is there any rumor around that they're considering it? At least as long as they're not ruling this out, that'd be great.

I never thought of Joe and Edison looking similar, but since you said it I do see a little bit of resemblance between them. But of course Joe looks so much more hotter than Edison. I wouldn't say Joe is very handsome, but he has this kind of charm and attractons that revolves around him. I like him a lot.

Hmm i think he started noticing her for real when she blackmailed him. Who would ever have the guts to blackmail the great ZS! Then started to care about her while he was tutoring her. After that, perhaps, he realizes she is not just a person who likes him, but a human being with dreams and goals. But as for liking her, I think he started to like during that time he went into her room while she was sleeping and read the love letter she wanted to give him. He was staring at her face for a good while and he also seemed touched by the letter. Right after that he saved her from the perverts and after that, he baited Ah-Jing when Ah-Jing burst through his house after hearing ZS's parents discussing a marriage between ZS and XQ. He could have cut the conversation dead, but he continued to bait Ah-Jing.

Those are my thoughts...but ZS is so ugggh! --> who knows when exactly he started to like her!

for ep 7, i like the part where the whole family having dinner together and both fathers were bickering over something, and suddenly bryan bursted out laughing loudly and i thought, this must be REAL and not acting on his part. when the NG shot came, it confirmed that, bryan was uncontrollably laughing over it. so cute.

If U read the Manga or in my case, memorized the Manga. He will be jealous when Jason start to be close to Xiang Qin. If he knew that these 2 are plotting to separate him with Wei Ning, he would not have been jealous.

I knew i picked teh best drama to watch. I didn't even bother looking at Forest or Stars. they all had characters and plots that didn't interest me at all. and i'm assuming it doesn't bring interest to others as well. =P

He did know they were following him..making as much noise as they did...*rolls eyes*...but he did think Kotoko and that guy were together until they followed him and reiko and sabatoged their date...and then he started to realize what was really happening.

My feelings for this episode:
*screams with happiness* finally finished 7th episode and it sgetting better and better! Ariel is getting cuter and cuter and Joe is getting hotter and hotter. Sadly i cant call this episode the one.....the one where the chemistry is really going. Cause lol, the one episode will off cours eprobally be the ending or an episode with just Ariel and Joe.....*dreams*

I can feel the chemistry growing now........Ariel&Joe......Joe&Ariel.....except that, that freakin chick thats hogging Joe is getting on my nerves caus eyou can sometimes see the angry feeling in Joe when she goe sup to him. And i was crying when Ariel had to move...and the fact that Joe just said "jie jen" and thats him slapping his butt getting away with it.....but u could see hes dissapointed and sad that Ariel has too leave. I loved seeing Joe being worried about Ariel.,...the best feeling while watching an romantic funny drama, the scene at the end..... where Ariel is picking up tennis balls and she screams for Joe cause theres people taking pictures of her..well thats a scene i rewatched and rewatched, Joe running up to her...and Ariel hiding behind Joe! SUPER CUTE*

ahh, i think episode 7 is a big turning point. ZS was way nice in here and showed more like emotion. i loooooooove ariel and her acting but i'm begining to get a little peeved at her character for being so so so so dumb! when i watched i just kept thinking "how can you like a guy like that? he treats you like dirt!" i know...it's just part of the storyline though so imma be patient and support XQ all the way!

i really don't get why people keep comparing this series to devil beside you and green forest, my home. i've seen all of those and there's nothing to compare. all the storylines are different as well as the acting. (AHEM* we all know ariel makes ISWAK one of the better acted dramas - all you ariel fans *AHEM) okay, i've had enough of me.

XQ is sooo dumb but thats part of her character..I think ariel is doing a great job because I dont think i could even think about being so clueless. But she's so sweet, I love her...lol i have a few friends like that.

and I watched DBY and am watching green forest right now. They're soo different from ISWAK that its dumb to compare them. Especially Green forest, for one thing its is about ppl who are much older (at least they're characters are suppose to be anyways) and its much more serious show.

I guess the only thing you can compare is acting skills and Ariel is definitely tops of that list...no question. The girl in green forest is pretty though but not so believable..i wish i cry like her...instead of turning all red...

This series is even better than Prince Turned to Frog I reckon!!

Screams and jumps along with Jessiecutietwins. Oh the anticipation! I'm counting down the days to when Episode 8 will be aired. It's going to be such a long week since I'm so anxious to see Joe be a bit more gentle to Ariel. I guess there was so progress in this episode. However, I doubt we would be able to see much of his gentle side towards Ariel until the very end when she decides to leave him; give up.

His smile/lips reminds me of Edison Chen's.

hahaha! I thought I would be the only one a little weirded out by that scene! When Joe was laughing really hard, he stopped being the character ZS. I was like what the...? Where di ZS go? It was like the most emotion we've seen out of him until now.
I think that Joe looks really funny when he laughs that hard. He becomes dorky looking instead of hot.

i look forward to sunday mornings now because i know the next chapter of ISWAK will be available for download! haha. i need a life!

ariel and joe (by the way, i was also confused by his name change. i was so sure i read somewhere his name was bryan) are great and fun to watch. joe's character is much more subtle, but you can see that he does care for her. and that probably disturbs him more than anything else. she disrupts the order in his life and he doesn't know how to deal with that i guess. i also think that he is resisting ariel's charm because he feels that he is being manipulated by his family (especially his mom) in choosing a girlfriend. i've never read the manga, but that's the impression i get when watching the series.

somehow i think that joe is very playful in person. if you look closely, you will see that he was trying to stifle his laughter during some scenes with XQ. especially the scene when XQ was thinking what to buy for ZS in ep 5. the woollen sweater scene. his mouth was twitching i think. if i were him, i would have burst out laughing. XQ is just too cute:D

I just started watching this drama today. I love it I'm not really a manga fan, so if I do read the manga, I end up reading it after the dramas. I didn't really like Ariel much (but she did a good job with Love Contract), but she's really cute in this drama I forget where I've seen Joe before, but I didn't like him much either..but now I like them both I'm almost caught up..I should probably prolong the rest of the episodes to last me til Sunday..!

Oh, and the music is amazing. I'm so getting the OST =)

After ZS tortured XQ with tennis practice, XQ was picking up the tennis balls and all of a sudden these two guys, hiding in the bush watching XQ, took a picture of her. She freaked out and called ZS's name. He comes running over and is about to beat the 2 guys up thinking they were perverts, but then they find out that it's the people from the manga club.

Another time that it looks like he was trying not to laugh was when she gave him the medicine and found out that it can cause drowsiness, so she dug her fingers into his mouth to fish out the medicine. He looked like he was laughing then.
