lol i think u should learn to READ chinese and then it won't matter...they usually have the chinese words on the bottom. I speak mandarin but I can watch HK stuff because they have subtitles. And most mainstream taiwan dramas use mandarin and occasionally have some hokkien stuff because my mom told me that its the popular thing to do now... i dunno, i'm not even taiwanese.

Supposedly the YDY link for ep. 8 can only be downloaded with BitComet. I installed BitComet and I'm downloading from it right now. It's WAY faster than my BitTorrent that I've always used. Just 1/2 hour more to go than I get to see Joe Jealous! Yay! Anyway, people that are having problems should get BitComet if you don't already, because I'm currently trying to download it with my old BitTorrent to see if it will work too and so far I can't connect to the tracker.

I was surprised taht Joe was so jealous : it is very funny to see. Doesn't he notice that he is attracted to Ariel ? I'm looking forward the next episode in which their mutual attraction will develop more quickly.

Just finished watching ep. 8. Joe and Ariel were so cute together! i loved the parts where Joe was jealous. It was so obvious. He even asked out the snobby girl just to spite Ariel. Snobby girl has no idea she is being used. Haha
I CAN"T WAIT for ep. 9 to see them go on a date together and Ariel baking her cake. That part will be so cute!

I feel really bad for Ah Jing. He was so cute in this episode! I really wish he could just find some cute girl to be with, because he's such a nice guy.

I loved this episode. So much more dialogue and emotion! We finally got to see ZS jealous! Woohoo, that was so satisfying. I thought Ariel's character and Jason's character were so cute! They make quite a pair as well. And yeah, poor Ah Jing. He was tearing!

When they were all at the movie theater, ZS said "I never lie" I thought "Man! You're lying to yourself right now!"

well i havn't fully watched it but wot happened i think was that [spoiler!]

at the training camp the tennis team found out that it was ZS cooking for them and later the snobby girl confessed to him but ZS saw Jason and XQ together n got pissed off. With an injured ankle XQ was finally was able to hit a ball back resulting in ZS doesn't haf to dress up like a chick. ZS then carried XQ all the way back to where she lives, and then they found out her house was empty. I think later ZS's mother is already planning their marriage when they arrived at their house calling XQ future daughter-in-law.. n everyone finds out that they already kissed!!! esp. Ah Jing (very pissed and upset). when jason asked XQ to fake their relationship (like as in they r pretending to be a couple - or "soon to be") n ZS got very angry n asked the snob chik out.. ZS is quiet pissed at XQ (or jealous).. as he said to her "if u want me to stop me playing bad jokes on u, u should leave - as far away from me as possible". at the movies jason n XQ kept on disrupting her [snobby chick] chances in getting closer to ZS and at the end of this epi.. he and the snobby chik is having a srs talk about relationship...

AhHHH!! I'm finally done downloading episode 8 and watched it. IT WAS GREAAAAAAT!! ^^ so cute how joe gets jealous. episode 9 looks good, looking forward to it.

This is the best episode so far. ZS finally shows some emotionals towards QX's actions. And he is sooo cute when he's jealous. It's starting to be really obvious that he's falling for her. I think he still treats her bad because he's in denial that there's sparks between the then. and he doesn't know how to handle these kind of situation. episode 9 will be really good. can't wait til sunday.

So...I will probably finish catching up by tomorrow night. I am still praying and hoping that somebody will be kind enough to put up a direct link to ep. 8.
My question is...do you think people in real life would do this kind of stuff? I mean... to continue pursuing the person who does not like you? Don't you find it a bit "diu lian", embarassing? I know at the end her hardwork will pay off, but is there anybody in real life who is seriously willing to go all the way like this? That is crazy. At least in DBY you know that Ah Meng likes Qi Yue, so that's not painful to watch. This series a bit "painful" in a sense that...I think women need to have more pride, don't you think so? Don't get me wrong, I still like the series, it's filled with cuteness but...this particular side of the story bugs me. Also, this reminds me of Wan Bao Long in Love Storm and how he goes up and down although it's obvious that Jia Le only has her eyes on Yin Feng.

We need...one series that favor underdogs, man.

Maybe the idea here is not to let pride get in the way. To continue in the face of rejection. When you read books or watch movies, you sometimes see characters' whose pride has wrecked a relationship or were too proud to do something and missed his/her chance. XQ is honest with her feelings and does not try to tone it down for the sake of pride-which makes her a likeable character. There are always stories with complications because someone was too afraid to express his/her feelings. Though she might not have pride in herself, she has "respect" for herself. She doesn't slave over ZS, like how Ah Jing does over XQ. And she argues with ZS back sometimes. She defends herself and the F class during the graduation party--saying how one should not judge people by their brains. She doesn't see herself as any less worthy than everyone else because she is from the F class. During that time when she snuck into ZS's room to get some hw answers and he discovered her and pretended that he was going to take advantage of her...she didn't let him--her face was turned away..and she blurted out that they should date first. She knows to give ZS room to breathe sometimes. As for real life, I think there must be a couple of hard-core people like that in the world...but not many. And I sort of like to see the process of ZS liking XQ and of him falling in love with the different facets of herself that she presents. In every episode she seem to surprise him with something she does or says.

they say there will be 13epis right.. but from the ctv main webbie, under ju qing fen lie, ytd's epi 8 is only under epi 6 in there. Means the show in actual fact is only acting till epi 6 in ju qing fen lie. so i doubt they can wrap it up in 13 epi thou.. confirm 13 epis only alr?

yeah.. i think that the sypnosis on the ctv website is not very accurate.. most prob the show will drag on for more than 13 episodes.. n i love this episode so much!!!

First of all, this series IS base on a manga and it's for entertainment purposes only. However, as for anyone in real life acting this way, I would say yes, maybe. People have done more crazy and out there things before, so a girl persistently chasing a guy isn't that abnormal. XQ have liked ZS for 2 years and now they're even living under the same roof. She's liked him for so long that she can't just stop liking him even if he's cold/mean to her. You don't get to pick who you fall in love with. And now that they're living together, she can't help but notice him and pay attention to him, because she sees him everyday!! Also, ZS has never outright rejected XQ, except saying mean things to her, but he doesn't go out of his way to avoid her. He's helped her with so many things and this I think keeps her hopes up that he might have feelings for her in the future.

I think the theme song to this series is so perfect for it.

Next episode seems to have more romantic scene (what are they doing in a hotel? )...
