I think they went to the hotel room becos they were drenched after falling into the water. She wore the shirt she bought him (the striped shirt shown in the preview). Here she will confess her love to Zhishu. This is based on the Manga.

i loved seeing zs jealous already...as i recall from the manga he wasn't that jealous in the manga because he saw right through them in the beginning..
this version shows him liking her sooner which i like!!! i loved the carrying scene too...haha i wish i could get a piggyback ride but i'm not as small as ariel!
poor ah jin..he was so depressed...hopefully he'll get someone in the end like he did in the manga! (i don't remember if that is after they got married though)

First of all, this series IS base on a manga and it's for entertainment purposes only. However, as for anyone in real life acting this way, I would say yes, maybe. People have done more crazy and out there things before, so a girl persistently chasing a guy isn't that abnormal. XQ have liked ZS for 2 years and now they're even living under the same roof. She's liked him for so long that she can't just stop liking him even if he's cold/mean to her. You don't get to pick who you fall in love with. And now that they're living together, she can't help but notice him and pay attention to him, because she sees him everyday!! Also, ZS has never outright rejected XQ, except saying mean things to her, but he doesn't go out of his way to avoid her. He's helped her with so many things and this I think keeps her hopes up that he might have feelings for her in the future.
I think the theme song to this series is so perfect for it.

True...True... I guess that is why I am attracted to stories like this because it's fun to see what other people might have done differently in a situation. I wouldn't go that far, because I would simply stop and move on. There are lotsa fish in the ocean. Hehehehehe...
Anyways, back to the story of this show again, I think most shoujo mangas have similar storyline, yes? Another question, that gesture of giving love letter to provess love, is that common in Taiwan also or what? because back when I lived in Indonesia, I don't think that ever happen. Not sure what the environment is like. I just find it hilarious.

I just finished episode 7, even though I didn't understand the whole episode fully, but Joe finally likes Ariel and we can tell!!! He's jealous when Ariel was really close with the tennis guy (that has the braids); and to get back on Ariel, Joe goes to the movies with the mixed girl.....And I can't wait till episode 8.....
P.S. I dislike that mixed girl...so evil!

I think she's not that bad here...the girl that played her in the Japanese version was REALLY annoying.
She was so much more agressive in her pursuit of Naoki and a lot more mean and snobbish towards Ariel's character. I'm not saying I like the snobby girl (can never remember her name), but she could have been a lot worse and more scheming. 
In the Japanese version, there's a part where snobby girl kisses Naoki purposely to spite Kotoko because she knew that Kotoko was hiding around the corner watching them. I wonder if that part is also in the manga and if they will include it in this Taiwanese version...

erm i think XQ will say that she likes ZS when she hugs him then ZS will say show how much you like me by doing well for your year-end exam or sth.. I THINK! based on the manga.. yupp. but i think ZS will be darn happy judging by how jealous he was.

My husband thinks I'm crazy for going a bit gaga over this series but...I am less gaga over this one compared to DBY. When that came out, I was really bad leh. I stayed up until 4 AM everyday for like 4 days just to finish it! HAHAHAHAHA... Lucky this one I have to download, if not, that is it man.

In the MV, JOE left Ariel? ( Scene where he took a taxi then the taxi suddenly stopped n he went back to hug her). Is this scene included in the series? Or they just made this scene for the MV?

jakely - I think that the series will probably end around Volume 7 of the manga, when Naoki (ZS) finally confesses his love for Kotoko (XQ). Unless if they decide to make a part II of this series, we definitely won't see everything that's in the manga. Right now ep. 8 is only somewhere along Volume 4 of the manga, so we still have a long ways to go. Not to mention the manga's not even finished itself, so....who knows. Maybe after he confesses to her, they fast forward in time to show them getting married. We can only hope, since I did see a picture of them in wedding attire.
Also, as for your question about the MV, I think that they just made up that little part where he leaves for school so they can have a romantic part where he runs back and hugs her.

They won't add scenes in the dvd...or anything, but they will probably cut down the length of each episode to 40 min, since the tv-version is about 1hour and 10 min. That is why the dvd have more episodes...but it contents the same thing

Well, the in the Mv it said something about Joe leaving for school, they're dressed differently from the series so I don't know. Joe NEEDS to start showing SOME emotion. I think I like this better than DBY because we're like DYING to wait for something from him. Whereas in DBY, we knew MIke liked Rainie like in the early episodes.
