i think she's really snobby in real life..
doesnt really relect her personality but maybe she has her sights set on higher like when she asked why her friend, tony leong kept acting in some trash films, quality control eh? dunno about that...

If you're referring to Cheung Ho Yi, i've heard that she's not a punctual person, always late, pissing the whole acting crew off. Also heard that after she received the female lead award, she became really cocky like she's the best of the best

Which Maggie Cheung are you refering to? I personally like both of the Maggies, but I like Man Yuk a little more... Ho Yee is good to her fans, but to others, I'm not very sure and I won't make an assumption about her REAL personality. Man Yuk seems pretty nice, but like Tony... very quiet person. LOL... Man Yuk does scare me sometimes, when she's not smiling.
Sorry, I feel that this post is kinda stupid. You don't know Meggie Cheung in PERSON. Frankly, all of us don't know what's her real personal life. You just know her bad characteristic from gossips, rumors, news or whatsoever which I think that it's either exaggerated or not true at all!

she acts all fake in front of her fans. She cusses, smokes and b*t*hes at the ones she doesn't like. I think she's damn rude. glad that she's not filming many TVB series anymore because she aint that great in acting either.
By the way she acts in series, I use to think that she was nice. However, I have read articles about her looking down on other actresses (ie. Charmaine, Sheren). In most of her filming, she is constantly late and the whole camera crew and other actors will have to wait for her. I guess maybe she was nice to start out with but after she got that best female award last year, she completely changed.
I really think she is a fake person in true life.

Whatever Maggie we're talking about, do remember that both Maggies are successful in what they do, they're making money, they're achieving their goals as professional working actors, they have hundreds if not thousands of admirers, they have every right to be confident, aka arrogant, for their achievement. there are many actors/actresses that are always late ....it's really nothing new..so cheung ho yi could most likely not be a punctual person ...we don't know...and about the anniversary thing...it could also be true...we don't know...i don't see how you can say some things are totally not true..unless you're her...or know her very well in real life to sit there and criticize everything like that..

i remembered the first series that i watched of maggie was in old time buddy, and i loved her from that series because she seemed like a nice typical person. though now, it seems like she's gotten snobby and acts as if shes better than many of the other artists. after reading an article that said she won the best female award, Over kenix, and saying," yes. got it." after..it changed my perspective on her. maybe kenix should've won that award rather than her..
to the defendants of the maggies above..ehh this is the "critics" compartment of the site and standing up for them in this page..well i think its kind of uneccessary. yeah we don't know the "real" her (or some of you in here might), but were just assuming if shes a nice person or not, just sharing opinions, so i think this thread isn't all that unuseful

As you have said is a critics dept and everyone is free to air his or her views. I felt that some of you might have gone overboard. I think standing up for her is depending on how you look at it. For me, if I felt is a totally wrong accusation, I would like to air my own views. You have your opinion and I have mine.
What's wrong wif saying "yes, got it"; is a matter of exclamation! Of course, this subject will never end because it is "to each its own". You have your own likes or dislikes. After all, whether a star or a layman, we are all human so why criticise one another. I am sure if you were to look down the street, there are a lot more
