F4 Hong Kong Concerts
F4 who haven't appeared before the public's eyes for a while will hold a series of 3 concerts at Hong Kong Coliseum on March 22-24. The reason they hold concerts again is for commemoration, so they name the concerts 'Forever." It means that they hope their friendship will last forever, regardless if in the future they will pursue their individual careers separately, or continue existing as a group. They also hope they can be friends forever and fans will remember them forever.

F4 held concerts in 2002 and caused a mad ticket rush. At the time, tickets were auctioned online at HK$1,400 a piece, unmatched by any. Fans had requested to add more shows. Because they have been very busy and their schedules are tightly packed, they have to delay holding concerts until March of this year.

When they decided to hold concerts again, fans from various locations such as U.S., Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, and China keep on contacting the Hong Kong concerts organizer, East Asian Entertainment (Dong Ya Yu Le), for reserving concert tickets. At the present, the reservations have almost exceeded the quota. The organizer is having headaches on how to arrange seats because all want to order tickets with seats where they can shake hands with and have close contacts with F4. Starting today, Jan. 23, fans can order concert tickets using credit cards. Tickets are priced at HK$480, HK$250, and HK$120. No specific credit card company is designated. Any Visa or Master card will do.

The organizer has treated the matter of shooting the concert poster seriously and spent hundred of thousand HK dollars on it. It has hired art directors Wu Li Lu and Yu Jia An, who were both HK academy award winners. Many famous designer brands have provided their wardrobes. Originally, the four of them planed to go to Hong Kong together to shoot the poster. But Jerry is busy shooting his new drama 'The Hospital." Xiao Tian is traveling for promoting his new book 'Zhu Xiao Tian De Mei Wei Guan Xi.' Zaizai is involved with the post-production work of 'Silence.' Vanness has started rehearsing for the concerts. To fit their schedules, a team of 20 Hong Kong staffers flew to Taiwan to shoot the poster in four different segments spread across two days.

In the poster, the four of them are dressed in black and white suits looking genteel and smart. Jerry and Vanness are in white suits. Xiao Tian and Zaizai are in black suits. The art directors praised them being very professional. They could readily strike poses looking charismatic and electrifying. The female staffers present at the scene dared not look at them in the eyes lest they should be electrified by their electrifying eyes. They will hold a press conference in Hong Kong in February. At that time, the four of them will finally be together. Fans who have long missed them will be able to see them before the concerts.

Moreover, not only have their upcoming concerts created another ticket rush, theme sponsorship has also attracted quite a few brands. Why choosing Hong Kong over Taiwan? Manager Zhi Xiang Li expresses, "I've been skinned many layers because of the issue of time!" Zhi Xiang Li affirms that, as Hong Kong locates right in the center of South East Asia, it is more convenient for fans from neighboring areas to attend the concerts.

In fact, they were so busy that they couldn't be present at the same time to shoot the concert poster. The Hong Kong art-direction award winners, Wu Li Lu and Yu Jia An, had to bring 20 staffers with them to Taiwan and shot the poster in four different segments in two day. The poster was generated by computer.

No Taiwan concert this year
Zhi Xiang Li, badly berated, says he's raking his brains for coming up with time slots for the concerts in Singapore, Indonesian, Malaysian, and Thailand, etc. There is no time slot available for the 'F4 Taiwan Concert' requested by his boss Ge Fu Hong.

Compared with four years ago, the upcoming F4 world concert tour will emphasize more on 'individual flair'. There will be segments of four singing together, but most will be individual members' solo performances mixed with their own new songs. Time will be equally divided among them. Because the production cost is 30% higher than the previous concert tour, their concert fees remain the same.

F4 will hold 3 consecutive concerts in HK in late March of this year...Coming up soon. They will have a press conference for these concerts sometime this month.

Ken just recently released his own cookbook. Vanness will release his second album in May. Vic's new drama 'Silence' is in the process of editing and post-production...Will also be released soon this year...JErry's drama 'The Hospital" is near the final stages of filming.

They are all preparing for the upcoming concerts...Can't wait!!

Ken Chu, To Live Himself

Some idols are far away, some celebrities are very near. Ken Chu is the celebrity who wants to be nearer to fans. After he finished fliming Far East Great International Trial, he rested for half a year, and it seems because of his good appetite, his double chin is showing. Attending his friend's wedding, he appears in casual clothes.

Before Jerry got his way, Ken held his only book autograph session. Fans from 11 Asian countries crowded the place. He signed for a whole 3 hours, who would dare say he isn't popular, and his fanclub would show up to show their idol's hard work.

He ever said, "F4 isn't a group. It's a title in Meteor Garden." It makes people suspicious whether he is trying to kick off the F4 title.

However, one thing that people is most curious about him recently, is his relationship with Da S.

Ever since his start with Xu Wei Lun, his relationships have become a attention with the media. Everyone could see that, although it is like this, he seldom show the black face. Da S and he will not avoid the paparrazzi when shopping. Among the four, he is the most honest with his love.

In his new drama, Silence, he is successful in his career. Recently, in the trailer that's going about online shows a scene of him crying in the car, many felt for him when they watch it. His acting skills have improved, it could be the love life that's helping him.

Vanness Wu

Vanness is the only one among F4 to be single eyelid, ABC and who can dance the best in them. Compared to the other 3, he is a little different. Too bad, his name is always the least mentioned. And whenever his name is mentioned, it will always be accompanied by his ex-girlfriend, Vivian Hsu.

Seeing that all the other F4 is showing results, Vanness doesn't seem to be able to keep up. In fact, he is the most talented one but the time, place and people are just different. After Meteor Garden, although he went to HK to flim Star Runner, box office didn't do great too.

He seems to be walking even closer to Nicky Lee, Ji Mi, Jeffery Huang and Stanley Huang. Maybe he is locked to be developing in the album arena, to be able to walk out of the other 3 and have his own sky.

F4's Concert, starts running in March, Zaizai works hard in working out

Straight foward and adorable Zaizai have been shot many times going out with Da S, being very high profile with his relationship. When speaking about his work, this big boy is very shy about it. According to what is known, for the concert in Hong Kong in March, other than taking basic training classes, Zaizai is also secretly working out, afraid that he would be compared to the other of F3. Even his manager, Lin Shu Juan said, "It seems like he have become fitter, better figure too."

After 3 years, F4 would be starting their Asia tour again. In regards to this performance, all the 4 hunks have give all their hard work, hoping to give their fans their best on stage. Other than Jerry who is still fliming The Hospital, Zaizai, Ken Chu and Vanness Wu have already been fully engrossed in the concert's preparation. And, many times, they would give their suggestions when having meetings with the company, adding lots of their own opinions. Other than doing dubbing for Silence, Zaizai have been practising singing, working out and using the track mile at home. Lin Shu Juan expressed, maybe it is because he is exercising enough recently, she realised that during the rehersal, not only Zaizai looks good, his body situation is doing well too, alot fitter.

F4 would be holding their press conference in HK on the 18th. A whole strings of events would be held. For the time being, they would have to be going to and fro the 2 countries. Other than practising singing and have rehersals and the venue, the stage appearence would also be their secret weapon. In regards to the maybe suprises, Lin Shu Juan is very low-profile about it. She laughed and said, "Since it's a suprise, you have to wait till the end but it'll definately let the fans be shocked and satisfied." Zaizai would also be heading to Shanghai for his endorsement to meet fans.

F4 Concert Arouses Panic Buying

Taiwan group F4 will be holding 4 concerts in HK in March. Tickets have officially gone on sale for the public yesterday. Because of an overwhelming preordering response from their fanclub, only a corner of the $480 ticket-priced VIP section is
left for the public to order.


F4 will be holding 4 "F4 Forever 4 2006" concerts at Hong Guan on March 22nd through 25th. Because of an overwhelming preordering response from their fanclub, only a corner of the $480 ticket-priced VIP section is left for the public to order.


Three days ago fans already started lining up at Hong Guan to wait to buy
tickets, Yesterday morning almost 40 fans were waiting for the ticket booth to open at 10am. The staff members gave those waiting tallies. Within 35 minutes the VIP tickets for the 24th and 25th were sold out.


A group of 7 were first in line and they were prepared with things that will keep them warm during the wait. Besides staying there for 2 nights, they waited there until 10am yesterday. After they bought tens of VIP tickets they said happily, "The most important thing is to be able to buy our tickets, that makes us happy. Actually what we'd like most is to be able to see our idols at the concert backstage. But this of course is impossible, haha."


A few days ago Jerry Yan did some costume-fitting for the HK concert. Yesterday he not only didn't have the chance to pass Valentine's Day with his girlfriend, he also had to go to Dan Men San with the "Bai Se Ju Ta" (The Hospital/White
Tower) crew to film for 4 days.


He expressed through his manager that he can only pass Valentine's Day working. The environment in the mountains is dangerously steep, to be able to complete things smoothly is his biggest Valentine's Day wish. According to what's known, he's very busy with filming and concert preparation and it's difficult to
divide his time up.


In addition, on the 18th F4 will hold a press conference at HK's APM Shopping Center. For this grand occasion, more than $10,000 were spent on concert advertisements for promotions.

Prepares to Come out Together

Because of "Meteor Garden", F4 walked to fame,that for the past years each developed on their own, and next month's concert is the foursome's rare reunion once again. Closely after the concert, SONY BMG will also release the foursome's album for their loyal fans , a news that would make one jump for joy.

19:35 - MC and fans chanted "1,2,3" as F4 stepped onto the stage, in the order of Ken, Vic, Vanness and Jerry.

After they finished their press conference, F4 yesterday left in their own ways to look for their stuffs. Vanness left Hk yesterday afternoon first while Jerry left at night. They went to HK days ago from Taiwan. First to arrive was Zhu Hsiaot'ien, then followed by Zhou Yumin and Wu Jian Hao, and Yan Cheng Xu separately arrived the airport. They had difficulty passing by, but finally they arrived the security place, 2 talented people relaxed mutually, stretched the arms and chatted.

Then finally Jerry Yan went to the port and after which 3 people gathered together. Jerry in an entire black appearance stepped of the airport, the fans completely lost control surrounded him on every inch. The fans continuously screamed when they saw him, and others nearly fainted when they saw Jerry smiling back at them. The escort personnel assisted him only then left the port smoothly.

Last Saturday, Jerry Yen, Ken Chu, Vanness Wu and Vic Chou appeared as a group to promote their March concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

Honestly, it would more probable and easier for Jerry and Vanness, Vic and Ken to chat more since each of them are right beside that other person! I mean HELLO! Easier access! They don't want to be impolite and reach out to the other members just for chatting when they are onstage. For example, Jerry is across from Ken. Even if one or the other wanted to talk to each other, they were limited since the placement of their standing. During the press conference, one can tell that they were enjoying being together onstage again. Man, the media loves to make up a lot of BS and assumptions. ARgh...Of all the nerve.

Besides, what if Jerry and Vanness, Vic and Ken conducted the interviews in two separate groups...So what? That doesn't mean that they are picking sides or whatever. It was said it happened because many fans sent flower baskets to congratulate their idol. A batch of Jerrys' first arrived and the rest arrived abit later. A female fan who named herself as a Jerry Yan fan blocked the door of the place. Her attitude wasnt good and started to "speeching" to the crew there, saying that she didn't want other flower baskets to be blocking Jerrys' ones. After they debated for awhile, the crew could not help but say, "Why are all these fans so evil!"

As the place is abit small, it is bound to be blocking the flower baskets. As Jerry's flower baskets were the most, it will definately be seen. As fans who support your idol, they should be polite to the crew there. People are only there for work, people who create trouble will only shame your idol. If this gets to your idol's ears, they won't be happy too.

Jerry Yan denys splitting after concert

Recently, there were news that F4 would be splitting in a low profiled way after the concert. Yesterday, Jerry denied this news and said they would be proving they are not splitting with action, relieving the fans.

Yesterday, Jerry attended Pepsi New Stars Music Training Camp press conference. The new stars of Pepsi who came from different countries and areas were being arranged to go through professional lessons for 4 days in a row. Jolin Tsai would be rehersing with them for New Stars Jin Ge Jing Qu. Afterwhich, there would be Nicholas Tse and Louis Khoo.

Jerry, who just arrived from Shanghai to Hong Kong was wearing a whole black sports suit yesterday to be the judge to pick out 3 winners from the contestants. The 20 new stars basically had 20 seconds to make a introduction of themselves. Many of them did rap, sing and many others. One of them even did a backwards jump down the stage and almost hit Jerry, scaring him. There was even this female fan who sang Jerry's songs, scoring more points. Afterwhich, Jerry announced the results with a high ranked Pepsi female. When he placed his hand on her back while upstage, it made the people scream. Jerry expressed that he failed during a model competition when he was 18 because he was too nervous and praised that the Pepsi New Star's were better than him.

Rumours of the splitted F4 and gossips of them splitting up in a low profiled way after the concert, Jerry explained, "No, previously, everyone said we have separated but we're still together, we'll prove with action that we're not separated." Have ever proved of the splitting up thingy ? No. Afraid that it'll affect the ticket sales ? There's no such thing.

Jerry would be in Hong Kong for 2 days to flim some pictures for Pepsi. He laughed he would be bald and said he didn't mind a sexy image. He said, " But, that will have to wait till i have a better figure. I'm abit thinner now, no muscles."

It's been more than 3 years, now F4 will hold a four-show concert next month at Hong Kong Coliseum. Each will have his own solo show. The biggest attraction is the latter part of the concert. To salute the late performing artist, they will sing and dance together to showcase some of Leslie Cheung's classic songs.

Preparing for their individual solo shows

A Hong Kong concert staffer reveals that to show to their fans how much they have improved over the past three years, the concert will be a non-stopping, eye-catching song and dance show. That's the reason why they've chosen Leslie Cheung's works. The four of them have been working hard rehearsing their singing and dancing. They plan to be in Hong Kong at the beginning of March to go through secret training until the end of the concert.

Their costumes will be designed by Bruce Yu. Each member will have at least 5 costumes. Each concert show will cost more than 2 million Hong Kong dollars (about 8.40 million Taiwan dollars). Yan Chen Xu will play musical instrument, Zhou Yu Min will do a musical, Wu Jian Hao will dance and Zhu Xiao Tian will perform what he is best at, a live band performance.

F4 pays tribute to Leslie Cheung on their upcoming Hong Kong concert in March. They will choose some of Leslie's classic songs such as "Wei Ni Zhong Qing", "Monica", "Feng Ji Xu Chui" and so on.

1 April is Leslie Cheung's death anniversary. To pay tribute to this superstar, F4 has chosen to perform some of Leslie's famous songs for their HK concert on 22 March. Vanness who loves dancing has planned to choose one of Leslie's fast songs such as "Monica", "Stand Up", "Ce Mian" etc. Vic will sing "Wei Ni Zhong Qing" and Jerry will sing "Feng Ji Xu Chui". Ken has chosen 1 of Leslie's later songs "Zhuo You Shou".

As F4 last HK concert was 3 years ago, this time they will perform something different. Jerry will play instruments, Zai will act a mini musical, Vanness will perform some dance segments and Ken will perform wil a live band. Their concert outfiits will be designed by Yu Jia An, each of them will have 5 or more outfits. Production cost for each show costs more than HK$200 0000.

The concert is drawing near, and Jerry is currently filming last few scenes for his latest drama "The Hospital". Yesterday, Jerry was filming a final wedding scene in Taipei. As they filmed from morning to nite, Jerry looked very tired. But luckily, they have successfully finished filming and he can concentrate on preparing for the concert next wk onwards.

It's getting closer and closer to the concert date. Among them, Jerry is the one working hardest. It's because the Taiwan drama, 'The Hospital,' in which he stars was still not wrapped up. Yesterday Jerry shot a wedding scene in Taipei. The shooting started from morning and lasted until night. Even Jerry wore a suit but he still couldn't hide his fatigue.
