F4's Jerry, Vanness, Zai Zai and Ken
will have their concert today at Hong Kan
Tonight, F4 will hold their concert at the Hong Kan Coliseum in Hong Kong. Yesterday, as the four catches up with their grand rehearsal, they had their CNN's "Talk Asia" feature interview on " Asian Celebrities". Fluent with English, Vanness and Ken used it freely in responding to the questions, and also translated for Jerry and Zai Zai. As the four looked like a family, Vanness was fitting to be the father, Ken appeared reluctant to be the mother, and Zai Zai and Jerry as their children.
F4 was interviewed by CNN for the first time, in one of the dressing rooms. It was strictly supervised- no other people were allowed to enter, no cellphones, and no photographers, that F4 was tensed as they responded to about 7-8 questions. Added to these is the bad conversation of the Young lady translator the production unit prepared for Jerry and Zai Zai, that finally, Vanness and Ken helped in the translating.

They talked about how the four got selected for the group. Zai Zai was only going with his friend during the try-outs. But producer Angie Cai was beside him in the elevator and took him for the role of Hua Ze Lei. They also talked about the Asian F4 wave, and the advantages and disadvantages of being famous. They also used the family as an analogy for their relationship. Serous Vanness appeared to be proper as the father, loves to take care of things made Ken fit to be the mother, Zai Zai's character is similar to be the youngest son, and Jerry is the eldest brother.
Going up to the Hong Kan Stage again
Tonight, after three years, F4 will again rise at Hong Kan stage and has matured all these years. Jerry's throat infection before has now recovered well. Most special is Zai Zai, aside from singing his drama soundtrack songs, he will sing Andy Lau (Hua Zi)'s "Zhuan Shi De Yan Lei (Diamond Tears) ", "Wo Hen Wo Chi Xin ( I hate my foolish heart)" which was arranged to be a group song. He will also do a dance number on the stage, and dearly wishes that Hua Zi can be there with him at the stage so he can see him sing his song.

ZaiZai danced two segments. the first one is not the one with the female dancer featured in the photos the other day. The second part is a musical, with the female dancer. A large group of dancers(?) went up the stage, and then the girl laid down on the floor (dunno why...*scratches head*). This is the part where ZaiZai sang "Wo Yuan Yi", and then he kissed the girl!!! The girl woke up...
Ken performs after ZaiZai.
Btw, a ceremony was held just prior to the concert where everyone involved lit incense sticks and said prayers for the success of the concert.

I'm not an F4 diehard, but I definitely think that they can make a comeback. They are definitely the most successful Taiwan boyband overseas. I was just at a Japanese store here in the states-- and they even had an entire magazine devoted to them. IT WAS THE ONLY MAGAZINE IN THE ENTIRE STORE WITH NEWS ABOUT A CHINESE STAR RIGHT ON THE COVER! I'm sure that they will at least have a great tour...
As for forever... well, I'm skeptical about "forever" for anyone... but if any Chinese boyband has a shot at that... I would say it's them.

F4 Starts in HK Coliesum, No Empty Seats
Asia's popular group F4's 4 concerts of Forever 4 2006 started yesterday night. The whole place was busted. At around 8.30pm, F4 arrived from the top sitting on this dragon all dressed in black. Even before they sang till the 3rd song, fans at the concert hall have all already stood up and cheering, waving their lightboards in their hands. Fans from China, Japan, Thailand, Phillipines helped in the screaming, making the whole scene crowded.
F4 started with Liu Xing Yu which made them popular. This sexy dancer stood in between them and Zaizai said, "Shall i hand her to Jerry ?" Fans scream and he asked again, "How about Vanness ?" Fans screamed again. Afterwhich, the dancer helped Vanness off his jacket and the other 3 laughed and said,"You're so lucky!" Vanness was also the first one to do his solo performance. His sister also danced with him.
Even before it started, F4 was split into 4 groups. Wearing different coloured uniforms, their idols's posters splashed out and together with huge banners, splitting up into groups to sell their idol's merchandise. Anyway, they fought from the outside to the inside. At around 5pm in the afternoon, more than 200 hundred fans crowded the front of HK Coliesum to watch F4 praying. From the door, they queued to HK Coliesum bus interchange. Even the bridge was filled with people. In between, there was Zaizai, whose girlfriend, Da S was there to support was happily playing with Jerry.

F4 are the best!!!!!!!! 
I think that's what's so special about them. people see them as both a group and as separate celebrities. With their combined popularity, F4 should hotter than ever. The reason some groups disband is because the members want to establish their own image and personality to the world. Each of the members of F4 are clearly distinct and comfortable with their image yet they are still a cameraderie. Working together should be a beneficial thing to everyone.

Sorry if i offend anyone but i personally think that F4 is alittle be outdated.
They would have to do something big to get them back on top.
Especially with all the new Jstar bands and just other artiste.
They are no longer the top.

oh my god!!!i'm so happy even if i didn't get the chance to watch their concert but hearing the news that everything was fine and it was a great concert makes me really really happy!!! even if a lot are saying negative comments about f4 ..still we are all here..willing to support F4 till the end of time..

Hey guys, just came back from hk con. 'Twas a blast! Still have a hangover. It was interesting that before the concert, probably around 6pm, I actually got a glimpse of f4 (well, at least I saw Ken and Zaizai). There was like an opening ceremony. Though they seem to be hiding from us... Just wondering if they did the same thing for the other concerts? What's just disappointing is how the folks from Japan got "special treatment" because almost all of them got VIP seats (although I'm satisfied with my hk480 seat...got lucky with my winning bid from ebay.hk) and they even were featured during the start of the concert. Vaness even sang a Japanese song. What was that about? Anybody know how they got a hold of those tickets? Anyway, here are my fave con moments:
Ken's version of Santana’s "oye como va"- His drum performance was hot, and his dance moves doesn't hurt either.

Jerry's dance and piano number-how refreshing! His voice improved too.

Director Cai was there. When he showed up, fans kept screaming his name. Angie Chai was also there. When Director Cai met with AC, they gave each other a hug.

Boss Lin Jian Yue, "Meteor Garden" director and the one who discovered F4 Angie Cai, all came to support. Jerry and Vanness' families were also present. However, Zai Zai's girlfriend Da S was not seen, and not even a trace of Lin Zhi Ling. There were news indicating that LZL came to HK to secretly hold in for Jerry. As fans become more energetic, Ken also showed his lvely side. He even gave flying kisses to the female dancer. Really having the language talent is Vanness who was the first to sing a Japanese song. F4 started with Liu Xing Yu which made them popular. This sexy dancer stood in between them and Zaizai said, "Shall i hand her to Jerry ?" Fans scream and he asked again, "How about Vanness ?" Fans screamed again. Afterwhich, the dancer helped Vanness off his jacket and the other 3 laughed and said,"You're so lucky!" Vanness was also the first one to do his solo performance. His sister also danced with him.
Even before it started, F4 was split into 4 groups. Wearing different coloured uniforms, their idols's posters splashed out and together with huge banners, splitting up into groups to sell their idol's merchandise. Anyway, they fought from the outside to the inside. At around 5pm in the afternoon, more than 200 hundred fans crowded the front of HK Coliesum to watch F4 praying. From the door, they queued to HK Coliesum bus interchange. Even the bridge was filled with people. In between, there was Zaizai, whose girlfriend, Da S was there to support was happily playing with Jerry.

The four expressed their thanks at curtain call
F4's four-night concert ended well, and not just a few showbiz people were present that night, including: Xue Kai Qi, Lin Xi Lei (blog), Zheng Rong, Xiao Ding Yi and Angie Chai. When Jerry was thanking Angie, he cant help but call out on Elder Sister Chai and cried as they helf each other.
The final night performance is different from the previous 3 nights. Vanness in this final night is extremely HIGH, playing with his shirt halfway through his body and readies to strip, and got naked two times. Afterwards, Jerry followed him at the stage and went to dance with him. and excitedly jumped on the railings. Vanness appeared to immediately strip off his sleeveless shirt to get naked, that led the fans for some louder screams. Whenit was Jerry's turn to perform his solo, Vanness appeared at the stage and pointed a gun to Jerry. Jerry immediately acted to fall to die. Later, whenit was Zai Zai's turn to shoot and Ken sang May Day's "Yong Bao" , how can he make no mistakes, and would again repeat his song. Jerry Yan expressed his tanks to two people -- to elder sister Chai which he said that if it havent been with Elder Sister Chai, there is no F4 today, the other one is FENNY, who had continously stood beside him, he cant thank enough. When he asked Elder sister Chai to go the stage when he sing his song, at the end he cant help but to cry as they hugged each other, toucking everyone around. All along being conservative, Ken was forced by the other three to stip off his clothes. Ken finally agreed and said he would pull off his sleeves. exposing his arms. He laughed when he said that for two years, he hasnt exposed it so that they have something to enjoy. The concert was originally scheduled to end at 11:40 pm but fans were not willing to leave the venue, so F4 still remained until finally, at 11:50 pm, it then concluded.

Thanks to those who posted all the pics and news on the concert, its good to see the boys having a great time and enjoying themselves and it looks and sounds like the concert was a success will of course it is, its F4 were talking about.
