Luo Da You criticize F4 - singing fake
< I don't really like Their songs are too entertainment>
Luo Da You held a press conference in Taipei for his coming concert. When asked which singers in the circle needed help, he says he'll say it next time as (EVERTHING IS SUPRISE). After ten days, he fired out in Hong Kong, this time, the bomb was towards idol pop group F4, he said, " I don't really like F4, their songs are too entertaining. I even heard from friends that < Their double voices is not done by themselves, but getting others to help them to sing ! >
He would be holding a concert in Hong Guan very soon. He was asked by the HK media about opinions of Jay Chou and F4. He has even fired out at other artists like Andy Lau, Mao Ze Dong .....

WHO THE HELL IS LOU DA YOU???!
*Manager reveals for the 1st time, the truth about the disbandment of F4
The following article is an interview by a newspaper (or mag, i'm not too sure) and the interviewee is Zhi Xiang Li - one of F4's managers.
Manager reveals for the 1st time, the truth about the disbandment of F4
Rumor #1: The truth about the disbandment of F4
According to a particular newspaper which reportedly received reliable news, reported that Jerry Yan, who has only 6 mths left to his existing contract with his management agency, has the intention of forming his own company for his own future developments, and he's holding a very firm stance on his decision to not extend his current contract. As such, F4 will officially disband come September. That article also provided a very clear view regarding the contracts F4 signed. That is, the 4 of them currently belong to Taiwan Fulong, Ken Chu has signed a 10-year contract a long time ago, Vic Chou has also extended his contract by 3 yrs at the start of this year, thus leaving Vanness Wu and Jerry Yan, both having 6 mths left to their contracts. Fulong is currently trying very hard to get the 2 of them to extend their contracts, as understood, the chances of Vanness extending his is very high, whereas Jerry Yan is proving to be a very difficult target, he has told Fulong straight that he intends to form his own company to manage his own developments. He's bent on leaving, as such, it's unavoidable that F4 will disband
Clarification #1
Zhi Xiang Li too seems very helpless when he was replying our questions, but still, he made the simplest rebuttal: "No such thing. It's the first time we've heard this, this rumor will occur almost every month. There's no such thing."
With regards to the particular newspaper reporting that Jerry wish to form his own company, Zhi Xiang Li clarified that actually each of F4 have all along have had their own company, that being offices opened under their own names. "They had these offices since they signed the contracts with us", Zhi Xiang Li said: "In Taiwan, every artiste will open an office of their own, this is for them to handle some of their private stuff."
As for the most debatable question regarding Jerry Yan's contract, Zhi Xiang Li insisted that Jerry's contract with them will not be ending so soon, but they have been discussing the issue of extending his contract. As for the progress of the discussion, he said: "The discussion went very happily, but this is confidential to our company.
Rumor #2: F4 is not a group
To support the 'fact' that F4 has already disbanded, that particular newspaper reported that since last year, basically each of F4 have already started on their individual developments - Jerry filmed <Magic Kitchen>, Vanness filmed <Star Runner>, Ken filmed <Sky of Love>, while Vic concentrated on filming idol drama <Love Storm>. Also, when they were interviewed on several occasions, they insisted that the 4 of them only got together because of <Meteor Garden>, and that they hope that come the future, each of them will be able to identify his own goals and work towards that. But even though the disbandment of F4 is at hand, the 4 of them cannot avoid the possibility of working together again, because the commercial contracts they signed with Pepsi and S&K were signed under the name of F4, as such, if the advertisors organises any promotion, the 4 of them will have to come together as F4 again.
Clarification #2
With regards to this question, Zhi Xiang Li feels that "we'll need to have a really long discussion". Because, it seems that till now, others still don't seem to understand the nature of the existence of the group F4. "Initially, the 4 of them is neither a group nor a boyband. In <Meteor Garden>, their roles is that of a group, but when they signed their contracts with us, it was as individuals, and not as a group, hence now we are also waiting for good scripts, good music, only then will they be able to come together as a group.
There may be some concerns raised towards Zhi Xiang Li's answer, because looking at F4's current hectic schedule, it seems almost impossible that the 4 of them will be able to spare some time to come together to film a drama serial, but still, he brought another good news: "We still want to hold concerts. Hopefully by year end or beginning of next year, we'll be able to hold a worldwide tour.
Rumor #3: We did not get others to sing on behalf
Another recent issue is that recently, while being interviewed by a HongKong radio station, Luo Da Yuo announced publicly that he does not like F4, because entertainment factor stood 90% of F4's music, making it totally different from actual music. He even said that a friend told him that when F4 sings the harmonization part of their songs, it's not totally sang by them alone, but got others to sing on their behalf.
Clarification #3
With regards to Luo's criticisms, Zhi Xiang Li insisted that they did not get others to sing and emphasized that that's only back-up vocals: "You all also listen to a lot of cds, actually nowadays back-up vocals need not be sang by yourself, you can employ professional back-up singers to sing it for you, but the main vocal is still sang by themselves. Be it Jay Chou, Jolin Cai or Elva Hsiao, they also employed professional back-up singers to act as their back-up vocals!"
As for the part about entertainment factor exceeding that of real music, F4's album producer Liu Tian Jian said adamantly the other day that the music industry itself is an entertainment industry, and F4 is an entertainment group, entertainment is a singer's responsibility. Compared to Liu's outburst, Zhi Xiang Li's answer is much more polite: "Everyone has his/her own standard towards appreciating any songs, he's a senior, of course we will thank him for his guidance and comments."
Then will F4 change their music direction because of this? Zhi Xiang Li feels that: "We can't do anything about this, because there's always so many comments, F4's fans feel that their songs are very nice, we'll not change their music direction just because Teacher Luo said that their songs contain too much of the entertainment factor, what if we change the type of music they do, and the fans feel that their songs are not nice, then what are we to do? But of course, we'll still look for songs that suit the 4 of them.

ATTN:
please follow these rules: (ches)
1. PLS DO NOT POST TOO MANY PICTURES...If the set of pictures came from the same event or series...just choose 2-3 pics which you think are the best shots of F4 and just provide the links for the rest...too many pics in a page just make the page-loading slower..we are not having a contest on which F4 thread has the most number of posts or pictures....
also, pls do not post pictures with big file size...limit the file size to below 100kb pls...this just causes x-marked posts
2. ON SPAMS...i do not consider acknowledgements as spams...but if you really must say anything..dont just say "THANKS" or "OK"..say something relevent or maybe add a picture to your post...eventually i will have to erase the acknowledgements for thread clean-ups
3. Always STAY ON TOPIC..
********************************************************************
and I also want to add to check the previous pages first before you start posting to avoid reposts....I just want all F4 threads to be in order....

Pepsi's Views Towards F4
Jerry Yan
Jerry is a pepsi star that we hate and love. He looks for perfection, the serious him always look foward to Pepsi with believe and trust. The chasing and security duing any events are always exciting and nervous, coming back from risks.
Jerry, " Very happy that i can work together with Pepsi once again. Last year, we had many events together, and got the support from many fans around, making me feel very happy. Especially when during the Pepsi Blue Party by the Pepsi Family, it left me a deep impression. In this new year, i hope to have new challenges when working with Pepsi."
The past and future, Pepsi has the same goal with Jerry, "Successful Challenges, To Hope Infinity".
Vanness Wu
Among the Pepsi Family, Vanness can be said to be one of the most energetic. The one who cannot slow down all the time, is also everyone's Kai Xin Guo(Makes everyone happy). Behind the camera, this "action" superstar , also holds the same seriousness at times. Regarding his music, appearence and performances, he never jokes about it.
Vanness, " Working with Pepsi last year was fun, Pepsi is a good brand, and nice to drink. Working with them gives me a kind of push. In future, we would be giving everyone a different Pepsi, a different F4. This is because all the 4 of us has differents smells, gives a different feeling to everyone, therefore, Pepsi4-ever.
The energy that has been on on Vanness, has gave Pepsi lots more of energy and feelings.
Vic Zhou
Name is like the person. Zaizai's Pepsi's little baobei among the Pepsi Superstar. Humourous and kind, love to examine new merchandise. When not speaking, his lazy eye expression is the coolest. Although it's often mentioned that Zaizai love to sleep, he is very punctual in his work, and puts in effort to finish every request.
Vic Zhou, " Very happy! The first year, and we have already got a manufacturer who sees our events so importantly. From the concert to taking photos, i could feel their efforts. I really thank them! Now, being part of the member of Pepsi Family, and to help Pepsi , to move foward with Pepsi , and to go on to the infinity dreams!"
Pepsi also hopes that this young Pepsi Star would move foward, support each other, to feel the colours of being young.
Ken Chu
Sometimes he's quiet and mature, sometimes he's wild. Ken gives Pepsi a 2 different feeling at the same time. Holding on to the guitar on his hands, singing and playing at the same time, enjoying life, craving for freedoom. Our working together is just like lyrics, "Gan Jue Xiang Guan Yi Kou Mao Zhe Bao De Kuai Le"(line in Ask For More)
Ken, " This is the 2nd year that we are working with Pepsi, and feeling very happy. This time, the 4 of us would be doing the shooting in our individual ways. Hoping to show a different F4, and also to thank Pepsi for the effort put in to arrange. Hope to have a better works to show everyone!

F4 in the Philipines
this was disclosed by Robbie Taroza at the 2nd Manila F4 Ohana Party
Ken is going to do a mini-series for GMA 7. They are trying to fly him in during Van's concert for the contract signing. If he will be able to come, he will attend Van's concert on the 27th and just wave to the crowd. He will not sing though.
Vic is coming in May to do a solo concert.
Ken is holding a solo concert also in May (but Fulong has been trying to move the date) where Jerry will appear as a guest.
F4, all four of them, will have a concert here in July.Robbie said dates still have to be confirmed and they will make an announcement in a number of days.

Beautiful dreamers
Boyband F4 is (almost) dead. Long live Meteor Garden. Three years after the Taiwanese idol drama phenomenon hit our shores, idol drama series are still going strong. What explains their continued success and what can local drama makers learn from their popularity?
F4 MAY be breaking up, but the passion for idol-drama serials which the Taiwan boyband helped to pioneer remains hot.
In 2001, their trailblazing Meteor Garden revitalised Taiwanese TV drama serials and made the quartet - Jerry Yen, Vic Chou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu - household names from China to the Philippines.
Naysayers at first said Meteor Garden, which spawned a successful sequel in 2002, was merely a passing fad.
But three years later, idol dramas, which are targetted at viewers in their teens to the 20s, are still going strong.
Mr Paul Chan, SPH MediaWorks' senior vice-president (programming, branding and promotions), links their hit formula to 'beautiful faces, beautiful shooting locations, catchy soundtracks and fairy-tale plots'.
'Youth at this stage in life are making dreams. Never mind if such 'dreams' are practical or not, they're part of growing up. Idol dramas are really about dreams,' he says.
The genre has gone on to spawn copycats in China like Beach (2003), starring top Chinese actors Li Yapeng and Zhou Xun.
It has also spun off Taiwanese-Korean collaborations like Scent Of Love (2003), and Taiwanese-Singapore efforts like Westside Story (2003), now airing on Channel U.
Whereas the early efforts were a sugary confection of youthful dreams and fantasies, the latest hit idol drama in Taiwan mixes in social realism, exploring teen gangs with young and swoonsome leads.
Called The Outsiders or Tou-yu, the series, which is sold as VCD sets here, stars newcomer Guo Pin-chao and Lu Ming-chun.
MANGA-INSPIRED
TAIWANESE dramas screened here used to be mainly overwrough t period melodramas, like Ghost Husband or Xue Ke.
Usually adapted from the novels of bestselling Taiwanese author Qiong Yao, they were long on histrionics and short on the hip factor.
This changed in 2001 with Meteor Garden, which producer Angie Tsai adapted from Japanese manga or comics, which often boasts romantic storylines and characters.
Tsai, whose production company Comic Ritz went on to churn out other idol dramas like Marmalade Boy (2002) and The Rose (2003), had set out to appeal to young female viewers specifically.
She auditioned 300 guys before she found her four dream men for Meteor Garden.
With a Cinderella-like plot which sees the girl-next-door protagonist falling in love with the spoilt-brat hero and classy production values, it has paved the way for Taiwan idol dramas to rival the trendy Japanese ones.
They have struck a chord with Asia's young and restless. Meteor Garden and subsequent series like Westside Garden are hits even in non-Chinese markets like the Philippines.
There, they have sparked a thirst for chinovelas - drama series from East Asia - in place of the usual Spanish and Mexican fare called telenovelas.
Idol dramas have also become entrenched here, making up as much as 25 per cent of programming on StarHub's Chinese entertainment Channel 56, up to 10 per cent on Channel 8 and about 5 per cent on Channel U.
But their audience remains a niche one. These shows are often shown outside primetime on the local free-to-air channels.
Even hits like Meteor Garden have average ratings of only 8 per cent, lower than top homegrown family dramas like Holland V, which score almost 18 per cent.
But they fare better at VCD stores like Poh Kim where they make up as much as 40 per cent of the drama box sets sold. Top titles, like Meteor Garden I and II as well as Westside Story, can sell 10,000 to 20,000 copies.
But success has led to a proliferation of teen shows, with standards varying widely.
Not that the young viewers here will feel deprived. After all, they can look forward to catching The Rose and Meteor Garden II on channels U and 8 respectively later this year.
• Meteor Garden II airs on Saturdays, 7pm on E City, StarHub Ch 56, Westside Story on Mondays, 10.45pm on Channel U and idol drama Sonic Youth on Saturdays at noon on Channel 8
CLASH OF THE IDOLS
Don't Know Your Meteor Garden from Westside Story or The Rose? Here's help.
Meteor Garden (2001)
In A Nutshell: Meteor Garden showed that Taiwan dramas are not just Qiong Yao weepies but can be as hip as their Japanese cousins. Adapted from manga, it appeals to young girls and their fantasies with its plot of poor girl meets rich boy.
Stars: F4 and Barbie Hsu
Show And Tell: F4 members graduated to the big screen - Yen in Magic Kitchen (2003), Ken Chu in Sky Of Love (2003) and Vanness Wu in Star Runner (2003) - but without success. Now, idol-drama pioneer Angie Tsai is casting Chou for new show God Of War. He is set to be the top-earning idol-drama actor, getting about S$10,000 per episode.
It's Love, Stupid: Tsai once said: 'Why are idol dramas all about love? Other than love, what else do youngsters understand?'

Jerry reiterates that F4 may reunite anytime
Jerry was in Thailand a few days ago for the Pepsi Meet the Fans Session, which attracted 3000 fans. In Bangkok, Jerry was very keen on the Taiwan election. He voted on in Taiwan before leaving for Thailand and people sent messages to him throughout the event. Jerry hopes that everyone will support peace and hope that Taiwan will not erupt into violence. News are spreading that F4 are disbanding, Jerry explains that ZZ and Ken are busy filming a serial and Vanness and himself are working on albums. The four of them rarely get together but this does not mean that F4 are not getting along. If there is the chance, F4 will still sing and film together.

Yesterday night at the joint event held at by the schools in Singapore, Prime Minister Goh made his comment for the stragety for promoting chinese for the first time, " I think Deng Li Jun isn't that popular among the younger generation in Singapore. Maybe Ministry of Education can use 5566 or F4's pop songs, to teach students chinese. Idol worship
Published on Mar 26, 2004
Taiwan’s F4 have all but split, but BOY can these guys still sell Pepsi – Bt300,000 just to look at one of them!
It’s 8.30pm and Kantima Nokburi is waiting in the parking lot of Central Pinklao Department Store. The 27-year-old appliance vendor is planing on sleeping at the mall to improve her chances of getting a ticket tomorrow morning to see the love of her life: Jerry of Taiwanese boy band F4.
“I’m very late already,” says Kantima. “Some people have been here since 4pm.”
It sounds like a run-of-the-mill crush on a pop star, except that in this case, someone was willing to pay more than Bt10,000 for a ticket that was originally acquired for free.
As reported by Khao Sod newspaper, the ticket, touted on the black market, had gone up in price to Bt300,000 by last Saturday.
Jerry, aka Yan Cheng Xu, was in Thailand to join the Pepsi Jerry Party at the Bangkok Convention Centre last Sunday.
Charlie Jitcharoongphorn, Pepsi-Cola’s marketing director, said bringing Jerry in was a way to thank his consumers. All fans had to do was to collect 100 Pepsi bottle tops to earn one ticket, which explains why many of them chose to camp by the centre overnight.
Fans could also try their luck by stuffing their address into the bottle tops and sending them to Pepsi. Fifty lucky winners received the promise of a diamond pendant, to be presented by Jerry, and a chance to attend the party.
“I sent 8,000 tops,” says Daopan Boonrit, 18, a 12th-grader who belongs to the jerrybunnyclub.com, a website set up a year ago, when F4 was even more so the flavour of the moment. The website is where Jerry’s fans share their comments and their love.
On March 3, The Nation ran an article on “the F4 Effect”, even as pictures of the Taiwanese version of Britain’s original Fab Four were spread through most newspapers and magazines in Thailand.
F4 may have disappeared from the newsstands since and a lot of people think they’ve been and gone. But the tsunami created by Jerry’s fans serves to reinforce the fanaticism over the meet-and-greet party.
Had it been a concert, where he was actually singing, the screams would have been 1,000 times louder.
The party started off with Jerry’s appearance on stage with emcee Asada Panichkul and a translator.
“How do you feel about being in Thailand,” asked Asada. The translator was ready, but Jerry immediately replied in English: “It feels good.” The fans screamed. He smiled. They screamed even louder. He swayed the microphone and the decibel counter rose dangerously.
It wouldn’t have mattered what he said or did, the audience had morphed into a screaming game and a contest to determine who had the best props to wave in the air.
Surprisingly, this scene wasn’t limited to teenagers. A look round the crowd revealed that his fans range in age from five to 65.
“My mum wanted to come too and she’s 66,” said Viranee, a 46-year-old businesswoman who asked that her family name not be used. “Too bad I don’t have a ticket for her.”
Viranee is just one of the many forty-somethings who are crazy about Jerry. They collect and share Jerry’s memorabilia and keep themselves up-to-date on Jerryworld by logging on to his website.
He also has a celebrity fan. Singer Christina Aguilar showed up at the party and attended the group interview session afterwards. Christina asked through a friend if she could have a photo taken with Jerry, but the answer from his entourage was a firm “no”. So much for star status.
After some cheesy games on stage, most of which involved answering questions about Jerry, impersonating him in his Pepsi TV commercial by pushing the cart and building a pyramid of pop cans, there was a brief interview session.
However, the 27-year-old heartthrob was only prepared to answer questions that had been submitted beforehand.
The first was one all fans were asking: Given that F4 was famous here long before the Philippines, why was there a concert there but not here?
“Nobody invited us to come here,” said the idol. “That’s why we haven’t come to perform in Thailand.”
Shame, especially since the group have more or less disbanded. Will the foursome perform together again?
“We’d like to,” Jerry said, “but now everybody is busy doing their own stuff.”
Jerry is working on his solo album, and said if there isn’t a problem, his fans will be able to hear the new songs in May. He’d also like to come again and promote his album in Thailand.
“I’m very glad to have had the chance to meet a lot of fans. It’s been a long time since I experienced this kind of atmosphere,” said the young superstar.

Sony Award Winners boycotted Pepsi-Music-Chart Award
2004/03/30 Sing Dao Daily of Hong Kong
Sony Music singers totally won 14 awards in Pepsi-Music-Chart Award.
It is the record company which won the most awards,
and yet none of the winners was present to accept the awards.
All awards were accepted by a representative who was hissed by audience.
Even the president of one sponsor couldn’t help but complaining on stage.
The 4th annual Pepsi-Music Award had 61 categories.
Nan Su, Eason Chen, and Jay Zhou were the three biggest winners across China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Jay received 8 awards, Fay Wong three awards, plus, F4, Vic Zhou, and Jolin Chai one award each;
Sony Music won 14 awards; more than one 5th of total awards,
but Sony singers were all absent from the award ceremony.
Audience booed at the representative who went on stage to received awards.
When the last category was awarded to Jay,
the president of Light Co. openly criticized
”Some record companies do not know the rules.”
He then agitatedly claimed that none of the award winners won by negotiation.
Reportedly, some source said that Sony Music attempted to get big awards for Leehom Wang and failed.
Eventually Wang did not get any award.
It makes people think this might be related to all singers’ not showing up as a group.

Rumours that Modern Beauty have invited F4's Ken Chu & Vanness Wu to be their spokesperson and the pay for their hard work was more than hundred million. The only thing was that the company requested them to be topless when fliming this advertisment. The management company have been hesistating over this matter of being "exposed". Comic's Manager(XiaoZhi) have admitted that Modern Beauty have contacted them. However, shooting and conditions are still in discussion, standing in the position of a manager, he would never allow his celebrities to go topless.
Another member, Vic Zhou, Zaizai, is now busy with fliming new tv series, Mars. There are reports that he would be working with China actress, Zhou Xun, to work on a China version of Lan She Shen Si Lian. However, this was only the starting point, they have not decided on anything. Other than that, Vic Zhou International Fan Club would be holding Zaizai Celebrates Birthday-Zhou's Fu Charity Night on 9th of June, his birthday. After extracting all the money for the original costs, the others would all go to World Children's Shen Jing Hui as a charity , helping Zaizai to do charity.

F4 as murdersIdol group F4 will all be filming a movie, "Sha Shou De Lao Dao" (Murderer's Clack) together. Looking into the vast Chinese market, Kang You Shuo revealed that he's officially advancing into China this year. Furthermore, he has already put forth a lot of money to sign popular idol group F4 to star in this Chinese version of "Sha Shou De Lao Dao," a comedy drama. This movie is based on a 2001 movie that Korean hottie, Won Bin, starred in. The movie is scheduled to start filming in June in China.
Next paragraph is about the S. Korean movie, "Shi Wei Dao Feng Yun" and how it's really successful, breaking a record.
Apart from being a director, Kang You Shuo is also the chairman of a famous movie company, Cinema Service. Besides manufacturing movies, he also designates the publishing of Hollywood movies. Kang You Shuo expressed that this is a very important year for his movie company because they will be advancing to the entire Asian market. They plan to establish branch offices in Japan and China and have F4 lead with the Chinese version of "Sha Shou De Lao Dao." This is the touchstone to attacking the Asian market.
Kang You Shuo also revealed that they signed F4. According to reports, F4's Jerry Yan and Vanness Wu has stepped into the movie industry in the past year with Jerry starring in "Magic Kitchen" and Vanness in "Star Runner."
"Sha Shou De Lao Dao" was originally Kang You Shuo's movie starring Won Bin, Shen He Jun and others. In the movie, Won Bin portrayed a boy who wanted to become a murderer. When it premeired in South Korea in 2001, the box office was considerably good. It ranked 8th place in the Top 10 movies of the year. Kang You Shuo said this movie has exactly 4 leading roles, it suits F4 very well. Although he has never seen F4, he's aware that they are very popular so he believes that this should be a success. As for the amount that F4 will be receiving, Kang You Shuo laughingly said that another group of people are in charge of this so he isn't too clear about the exact number. "But it's probably very expensive!"

Can someone please explain to me why you guys like f4? I'm not trying to diss anyone here. I seriously don't understand. I mean they look like girls. Long hair, weird clothing style, can't sing, and can't act IMO. It's driving me crazy that they're even more popular than louis koo. I mean i'm not a louis fan but I think louis looks better sings better and acts way better.

hmm... actually, at first, i ddnt like F4 at all... when a station here in the phils decided to bring Meteor Garden to our country, i saw the commercials and i thought that they were so boring to bring this show to the phils... i thought it was so corny... but then i tried watching it... and there was something about that show that made me laugh, and thrilled as well.. for me, i think my obsession with F4 started with that show... the story, the script was all written very well and i think that it touched and entertained a lot of people here in our country... we had the F4 Fever for about 5 months.... but then it kinda died now.... but i still love them..

hmm... maybe for u, they dont look good, act or sing well.. but for other ppl's eyes and ears, they rock! haha.. and im one of those who try my best to sing their songs (memorizing the chinese lyrics) even if i dont understand a single word...

blush so... i dont know.. its unexplainable why we like F4.. we just do... i hope that answered your question.

no hard feelings too... its ok to express ur opinion..

Hmmm...why do I like F4?? Well, DUH! because they are hot!! LOL, nah. Umm..at first I thought they were rather ugly and I thought my friends had bad taste after they became obsessed with F4. Then I watched Meteor Garden and the guys were portrayed as being so cool and Dao Ming Si just fulfilled my version of a dream guy!! After that, I noticed how incredibly sexy and hot Jerry is...and then I knew about his real life personality - an incredibly sweet, good-natured guy who is NOT gay, seriously (true Jerry fans know what I mean, he does some really MANLY things that I don't like in other guys) - and now I can't stop thinking about him...
Aiyo, explaining won't really help. You won't understand...only other obsessed fans like me will la

And what the heck?? Louis Koo? Looks better, sings better and acts better?? LOL

F4 fans love F4 because WE just do.....F4 became popular because of their fans' undenying love and support for them.....Their fan base is very wide-ranged and there's something about them that we just love and adore.....like meteor_gardener said, only F4 fans can understand why we LOVE F4.....
about Louis Koo, well I really don't know much about the guy.....but you know how the showbiz industry works.....not everybody can be on top.......it's how you play the game.....
i mean, most of F4 fans became F4 fans through watching MeteorGarden..have you ever watch that series? it's a really really good series..after watching that series, i can almost guarantee you wont think theyre ugly, longhaired, girlish etc..
and about LouisKoo, i know what you mean. i used to love that guy to bits..but funny, my LouisKooFever died down a bit after i watched MeteorGarden..weird huh? ever since the summer of 2001 ( i think it was 2001 ), i've loved F4..complete worship, adore, head-over-heels, devoted, whatever you want to call it. but ofcourse, i still like Louis because i gotta admit, he's goodlooking..but F4 overules him in singing..
overall, we love, and i mean love, F4. no real logical explanation to that..=)

uhh...well..I'm fan of F4, because..I dunno..but I think it's because Meteor Garden too...they are so sweet..!!..when I saw them in MG..I was like..WOW!!

And I just love that song from MG..!!!

And well..I just love their voices..!!hehe

...And I really think that F4 is way better then Louis Koo..I've heard his song called Mr. Cool..I like that song..but I heard another slow song and I really don't like it, because he can't sing slow songs..(just my opinion..)

(I think it's because his voice is so low..)but I like his acting..!!

hehe..well anyway...I LOVE F4..!!!!

F4 regroups for Pepsi, breakup rumor
Posted: April 4, 2004
From the beginning of last year there has been constant news that F4, a Taiwanese group popular throughout Southeast Asia, will be breaking up. Besides rumors directed at Jerry saying that he isn’t getting along with the other 3 members, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu and Ken Zhu, Jerry also has intentions of making his own company to develop independently. Although these are rumors, a local newspaper has received reliable information that F4, who have not made a public appearance or performed together for a year already, under the arrangements of their management company and advertising company Pepsi, will be regrouping to shoot a summer advertisement for Pepsi, shattering the rumors.
Very special appearance
Every year Pepsi will arrange for their family members to shoot a summer advertisement. The family is growing bigger consisting of F4, Jay Chou, Aaron, Sammi, Jolin and more. There were 2 advertisements last year. There was a Jerry one and another with Jay Chou and Yao Ming. As for this year, in order to coordinate with the summer promotions, Pepsi has call together the rumored-to-breakup F4 to regroup. They even have the chance to join other family members to shoot an advertisement together secretly. Actually, after F4 attended the March 8th Pepsi Family Concert last year, the four members have developed independently. It is not until they are about to film an advertisement that they will have the change to get together again. According to rumors, F4 has secretly shot a series of new publicizing photos for Pepsi last month. Their appearance is very special. And for the advertisement they are about to film, to keep it mysterious, Pepsi given an order prohibiting anyone from revealing any news.
A reporter sought confirmation from Pepsi spokesperson Li Xiao Jie. She expressed, “The company has a big advertisement for summer every year. Because the family’s plan is strict, it’s not convenient to reveal anything at this moment. (Is it true that F4 will regroup to shoot an advertisement?) This is only a consulting method, anything is possible.” Regarding F4’s management company’s side, they haven’t gotten in touch yet.

Pepsi stars to have an ancient look
Summer is about to arrive and the two big soda companies, Coca-cola and Pepsi, will have a big war. There has been some news recieved that the 9 members of Pepsi, Sammi, Aaron, Jay Chou, Jolin, Edison Chen, and F4 (Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Zhu and Vanness Wu) will be having a traditional ancient look in there new sets of promotional photos, giving fans a new refreshing feel. A little later, they will also gather in Thailand to shoot a summer advertisement. As for Coca-cola, they have Jacky Chan's help.
Pepsi's 9 stars having an anchient look is classified as a secret. Employees are ordered to keep their mouths shut. Before the photos are exposed, no information is to be revealed to outsiders. However, when the 9 stars arrives in Taiwan secretly in February to shoot photos, they took turns going to the hotel for tryouts causing the news to be exposed. Sony singers probably won't attend HK IFPI awardsJay Zhou, F4, Faye Wong and Jolin Cai from Sony were all nominated in the 2003 Top 10 Greatest Selling Volumes of the Hong Kong IFPI Awards. Last time, all of Sony's singers were absent in Pepsi's prize presentation ceremony, so this time the situation is a little embarrassing. Yesterday, the reporter phoned the prize-winning companies, Sony Taiwan indicated that they have a very high regard on these awards because IFPI is an international association, which is recognized by everyone. However, the winners' list and invitation came a bit too late and they have already arranged work for their singers. Jolin has 4 autograph sessions and will try her best to make it. Jay also has promotion activities on Saturday and Faye is preparing for her new MV and so on. Nevertheless, Sony isn¡¦t worried that their singers will fail to get the awards if they will be absent in the ceremony because the award is based on the number of copies sold.

news update
Asian celebs now want to write too
THEY'RE SINGERS, ACTORS, COMPERES... ELVA Hsiao wants to teach you pilates. Fish Leong is hoping you will peep into her diary, and Tony Sun wants to tell you about his Ambition.
But what all of them really want you to do, is to buy their book.
Singing, acting, hosting - that's not enough these days. More and more celebrities are jumping into the inkpool in the hope of adding 'writer' to their multi-hyphenates.
While celebrity pictorials have been around for decades, the current trend for celeb book publishing is towards meatier stuff, that is, more than just beautiful pictures.
Celebs are now peddling anything from their life stories to short essays or whimsical doodles when they were bored.
But increasingly, they are turning to the topic closest to their hearts - beauty, slimming and health.
Bowie Tseng and her mother's cookery book on herbal soups did so well that they came up with a sequel, and even went on to have their own TV show, Bo's Lucky Soup.
Both Tang Na and Elva were so inspired by their weight loss after taking up yoga and Pilates respectively, that they decided to share it with the masses.
Then there's Jacelyn Tay, who is hoping to turn into a health guru with her upcoming book.
Whether it's a text-heavy autobiography, a glossy pictorial or a guide to beauty and health, celeb books are big business.
Kinokuniya Bookstore, which declined to reveal sales figures, says the books are consistently among their top three selling Chinese genres.
It started to import such books about three years ago, when the Meteor Garden and F4 fever hit town.
In fact, assistant department manager Yeo Bee Leng remembers customers loitering outside the bookstore before opening hours, just so that they could be among the first to lay their hands on Jerry Yan's pictorial book Amphibian.
And to date, the F4 singer's book is still their overall best-seller.
Ms Yeo says the sales of the books are tied to the popularity of the stars.
Like boy band of the moment 5566.
Tony Sun's autobiography Ambition is selling like hot cakes while Zax Wang's I Hate Zax (a semi-autobiography) was sold out when we visited Kinokuniya last week.

woww..good job F4 =)
F4 minus three still packs ’em up
By Cesar E. Tordesillas
F4’s popularity is surely waning after the conclusion of the Taiwanese television series Meteor Garden, now living an after-life existence through replays. This was evident by the lower degree of media attention bestowed upon the preconcert activities of the Crazy in Love with Vanness Wu. The concert itself confirmed this soon enough.
The venue—Araneta Coliseum was only 1/3 filled as of 8:30 p.m., a half hour past the original starting time. Not surprisingly, approximately 85 to 90 percent of those who showed up were females and a good third of them were minors including kids between 5 to 10 years old and a sprinkling of 3 to 4 year old tots.
And yes, there were no clusters of long-haired male bodies trying to emulate the famous boy band to no avail, which was a very common sight just six months ago - a testament on how the F4 fever that caught the local fans at the middle of last year may be cooling down.
Among the males that came along were dads who accompanied their wives and children, boyfriends who came along with their F4 die-hard girlfriends and a sizeable of those who may be keeping make-up kits inside their bags.
Nevertheless, the seats were eventually more than half-filled by hysterical F4 fans at way past 9 o’clock. But streamers that read “Only Jerry Supports Vanness, “Jerry Yan Family Supports Vanness” and “Ken Shou Family Supports Vanness” seem to express that the wrong ‘flower’ among the four was the one brought over as it seemed unlikely that there was a Vanness fan club in the house.
But fans more than made up with the oversight by bringing over posters that say “Vanness I Want Your Body” and “Marry Me Vanness.”
Concert organizers did spruce up the event with a long line of front acts that started with aging rapper Francis Magalona (who needs to find a new job pretty soon, perhaps at the call centers?); Star Struck winners Yasmien Kurdi, Mark Herras; Eric Santos of the “Star in a Million”fame; new pop idol JR and the so-called concert queen Pops Fernandez.
The type of crowd that showed up can be easily gauged by the way they warmed up to such performers as newcomer Erik Santos. This is a star struck crowd itself that screamed at every remake Mr. Santos sang to them.
Meanwhile, JR and Pops Fernandez seemed hardly amused of the fact that concert goers were there for other reasons than to watch them perform. At any rate, they tried to play it along and kept teasing the audience of how soon Mr. Wu would perform before them (that never failed to get a kick out of the crowd to their seeming displeasure).
After a lengthy curtain opener that makes one wonder whether they’re actually watching a Vanness Wu concert, the main attraction made his entrance with the Hotlegs Dancers to a Chinese song and dance number. As energetic as he was in dancing, he was inept in singing the opening song. At most times he seemed mumbling the lyrics as the song got drowned by the poor sound system and the shrieking the female fans emitted.
The next number was a slow song, also in Chinese, but Vanness later joined Pops Fernandez in singing and dancing to the hit song of ‘Crazy in Love,’ to which Mr. Wu seemed to be translating in Chinese. At this stage, it was obvious that the crowd was simply swept by the superstar aura instead of the quality of his performance. Except for Mark Herras who seemed to have been hastily included just to prolong the concert, Wu was easily the lesser performer in the group during that evening.
Does any of the concert goers actually think that Vanness can pass for a ‘Star in a Million’ winner without any Cebuana, Bicolana, Ilocana or Binondona crying her heart out that she was cheated? No wonder Piolo Pascual is having a concert of his own and FPJ is running for President.
Wu then concluded his repertoire of six songs with three more Chinese songs, the last of was from the Meteor Garden series. All in all, it was evident that there was a lot yet to be squeezed from the left-over of the hype that once swept the country as fans screamed for more of the Chinese star. And yes, Vanness promised to be back again to strike while the iron is still lukewarm.
15th Golden Melody Awards , as organised by Azio, invited Xiao Hu Duo & F4 as the new and old generation of pop idols to be award presenters at the huge event.
As F4 is groomed successful by Cai Zhi Ping as the new generation of the new pop idol, Cai Zhi Ping & Azio's Chairman was on good terms, the possibility of the 4 of them attending this event together is very high.

Aaron Kwok Jolin Cai Edison Chen crossover Martial Arts
Earlier on, Pepsi¡¦s nine family members, Aaron Kwok, Edison Chen, Jolin Cai, Jay Zhou, Sammi Cheng and F4 took an entirely new episode of advertisement photos. Yesterday, Edison, Aaron and Jolin¡¦s new ancient looks were exposed. They put on a set of costumes with ancient Chinese and Japanese tints with a strong modern flavor, posing for the photos in their own style. This time, in order to best illustrate each Pepsi product, they even had new hairstyles to go with the costumes. Aaron had a very outstanding and stylish hairstyle, while Edison had yellow makeup on his temple, whereas Jolin had strands of silver tint in her hair.
Some even mistook Vic as Jerry
For this time¡¦s ad, it took 12 days only for the modeling. They put up their new looks in the studio for evaluation and the new looks were so refreshing that someone even mistook Vic as Jerry.
Pepsi¡¦s marketing manager said, ¡§Jay and Jolin won¡¦t appear on the same can. We won¡¦t use rumors for promotion purposes. Actually the nine spokespersons will individually appear on different products, but we will consider whether it¡¦s necessary, we can¡¦t say that there won¡¦t be a possibility. (reporter: then will F4 be separated too?) Everybody, just wait and see.¡¨
Jolin suggested that it seems like modeling for an action film and lightheartedly said that next time she might as well challenge the other members with martial arts.
