Q: What are the current jobs for each member?

A: Vic (ZZ) is filming "Mars" which is predicted to broadcast in September. Then he'll go to HK to film a movie. I believe it's directed by Johnny To. Jerry is currently preparing his album. Ken is filming "City in the Sky." And Vanness is also preparing for his album.

Q: Regarded as the most successful "idol mother," how do you tell that a person has the a hidden quality of an idol?

A: When I look at a celebrity I like to start from the eyes because a star with potential will have a unique expression in the eyes. For example, Jerry's eyes has a mysterious feeling. ZZ is very sullen and wise and farsighted. Vanness makes you accept him forever, the kind that emits charm. Everyone has their own unique characteristics. But overall, the eyes is the most important.

Q: Is F4's popularity incidental or inevitable?

A: Fate could be considered inevitable, coming across opportunities is incidental. Afterall, at that time, in the Chinese world there weren't Chinese's own young idols. At that time there were very good subject matters and directors and that created a work that everyone liked. Therefore, fate could be considered inevitable, coming across opportunities is incidental. In other words, this popularity can be compared to a meteor, it can pass by momentarily. F4's future fate, I think I have it in my grasp. It's all on them whether or not they have the strength to go long term, if they have sufficient endurance, regardless of what frustrations or problems they come across and if they can breakthrough it.

Q: Is there a possiblity of F4 united once again? Has there been any plans lately?

A: Not this year, maybe next year. But we have to see if there are any good projects or scripts. I think it's especially difficult to write a drama for them. It's very hard to distinguish the leading roles and supporting roles. It's very hard to make the 4 have equal roles. This is the biggest problem right now.

Q: Regarding F4, what do you personally suggests them to develop most on henceforth?

A: I think they should still do mainly dramas or movies. Having a good script and good directer is should be good. In addition, I am rather looking forward to the 4 having a concert together.

Qiong Yao dramas the ideal, teenage idol dramas nearer to teenager's daily life

Q: What do you think is different between the current Qiong Yao and the new idol dramas?

Qiong Yao auntie is also my friend, her script compisition is very powerful, very dramatic. Her roles are also very unique. As for the dialogues, some people aren't close to talking life-like, they are all very romantic. The idol dramas today reflect the current conditions of teenagers' lives. Qiong Yao auntie's dramas are dramas of dreams.

Q: What do you think are the differences between Taiwan, Japan and Korea's idols? Must you copy of others to succeed?

A: It's actually pretty hard to copy, each country has their own characteristics. But I feel, talking about the maturing degree of manufacturing, Japan and Korea are becoming more and more intact. Taiwan isn't at the stage yet. Therefore I'm usually not satisfied with our works. There are many from China also. I look forward to issuing a drama with a market and one that possesses an art. Hope spectators are excited.

For the past 2 years, too many outside things have made F4 and I about to lose ourselves

Q: When filming MG, how did you choose F4?

A: I chose by how close they were to the manga but not exaggerated, they would have similar characteristics to the characters in the manga. I've chatted with Jerry before. I want these young people to get popular after their first drama. It's very tiring for them, just like taking exams when you were young. The first time you take it you get 1st place, then what afterwards? You are afraid that others will surpass you, and you have to maintain your #1 spot. A lot of pressure. I later discovered that a person's most difficult thing to do it "simply accept" because things get too complicated if you think too much. They'll start to waver. I think that if you simply accept something, for instance, as long as you work hard you'll succeed, this person will bring happiness, etc, you'll become very happy. In these past 2 years, there has been too many outisde things that have made us on the verge of losing ourselves.

Cai Zhi Ping wants to Make the Ancient F4

Meteor Garden and Mars were both edited from a Japanease Manga. Cai Zhi Ping did say that she was thinking of a ancient show by super idols. However, she laughed and said, " F4 can never flim war stories, or legendnary people, that's because everyone would laugh till they die when they walk, thus in the new show, they can only act as Mo Dan or Mongolia people."

"Sony (Thai) said that there will be F4 concert soon. Now it is set on 31st August, but it isn't confirm :-) since it seem so far from now. Actually, there will be a mini concert of Jerry and Vanness (by YAMAHA) for their clients or VIP who buy the motorcycle. It is firstly planned to be held on 5th July, but it was postponed to after

You can't watch Pepsi commercial on TV, but it's everywhere on Internet

Pepsi cola favors only Jay Zhou. He has the major part in the commercial, his fans are happy about it and also say he looks handsome. But there are people feel it unfair to other big stars that only have supporting roles. The nine stars took a long journey to Jordan to co-star the newest commercial for the season. It hasn't been aired on Hong Kong and Taiwan TVs. But it's been downloaded all over internet.

Pepsi gathers Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheng, Jolin Tsai, F4, Jay Zhou and Edison Chen to co-star commercial "Ring of Lord chapter" with a lot of fanfare. Stars' styles have also been heatedly discussed. But you can watch it only in China. Because of scheduling issues, up until now it still hasn't bee able to be aired in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

But resourceful fans can still download it from various web sites. Although the quality isn't as good as the TV version, in order to see their idols, fans try various ways searching the Internet, including China web sites. Currently, it's become the most downloading item.

In the one-and-half minute commercial, nine stars, each tries his or her specialty tricks, fight for a can of cola in an ancient colosseum. In the end, Jay Zhou wins the can. He holds the can of cola smugly but is oblivious and cheated by a little boy..

After watching the commercial, fans start spreading the words. Jay fans are so happy that he is the leading man and praise him acting well. But other people feel otherwise.

Some fans point out that Pepsi spent a fortune to shoot the commercial in Jordan. It turns out all other big stars have become Jay's supporting actors and actresses; it's humiliating for these other stars. Some enthusiastic fans even clock the commercial and say that the total time of all the other stars combined together is not even half of Jay Zhou's. They say why spent a fortune to have big stars as wallflowers. Even the red-hot F4 only has scenes appearing as a group. "What a waste of money."

But there are fans try to ease the tension. They think the commercial has two parts. Maybe Jay has the most scenes in the first part, but nobody knows about the second part, which is to be aired in July. What can be expected is that at that time, it will cause another wave of downloading.

GENERATION-Y CONCERT JERRY YAN, VIC CHOU, QIU ZE'S FANS THE MOST!

"Generation-Y Charity Concert" will be held tonite and out of so many celebs like F4's Jerry and Vic and Qiu Ze, they have the most fans right here in today's concert. The organiser revealed that aroundd 500 fans from 4 directions of Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hongkong, Taiwan called in to reserve tickets and as for Qiu Ze, there are some from Hongkong and Japan.

Baolong Jerry Yan and Zaizai Zhou Yu Min arrived only in June. But fans are so faithful and loyal that they have already prepared everything including airport meeting, booking car to chase, hotel crowding.

As for Qiu Ze, he arrived at Singapore the earliest.

Ever since F4 announced the news of going solo, it has been almost impossible for Jerry Yan and Vic Chou to meet and perform together. Celebs like Fan Yi Chen, Xiao Mei Jiang Mei Qi, Penny Dai Pei Ni, Taiwan GMA's Best groupband's Ah Bao and Brandy along with F2 will be performing at 8pm in Singapore Expo Hall 2 to help raising donation funds for Singapore NKF Children Kidney Foundation. The organiser has hired 30 over bodyguards and security guards, over 10 cops to maintain scene in order in airport as well as in the concert.

Qiu Ze, the earliest 'bird' arrived on the 22 of June in Singapore along with his rockband and music producer. Ah Bao and Brandy then arrived in Singapore on the 24th evening 6:30pm. JY and ZZ will be arriving today by BR 225 EVA Air at 12pm. The next flight after the concert is not confirmed yet. Almost all the celebs have tight schedule.

Jerry will be taking the morning flight back to Taiwan and ZZ will be taking the morning flight as well to Kuala Lumpur.

Organiser overall in charge Wang Jing Shun says that out of so many celebs, Jerry Yan, Vic Chou and Qiu Ze have the most fans. Estimated 500 Fans from HK, TW, M'sia, Indonesia, Thailand have flown to singapore just to support F2. Qiu Ze then has his own fans from HK and Japan. Overseas fans have been trying hard to locate where celebs will be staying so that they can stay in the same hotel as well. They are trying their best to catch the glance of their idols again in the hotel as well.

Wang Jing Shun added that to arrange for Jerry Yan and Vic Chou to come to Singapore for concert performance were not easy. It took almost half a year to invite them over. These two members of F4 have their own work to do.. very busy!

25th of June is the day when Taiwanese boyband F4's Jerry Yan and Vic Chou will arrived in Singapore for the long waited Generation-Y Charity Concert which is gonna start on 8pm today at Expo Hall 2.

Around Noontime on 12plus.. the plane F2 took was EVA AIR BBR 225 has finally arrived. By then, the excited and thrilled fans of these two macho boys have already waited for hours. Unfortunately, the scene was suddenly went through a trauma where joyous crowded event became such a spoilspot and disappointing when f4 fans heard that Jerry Yan and Vic Chou took a secret passage way to exit. Firstly, the organiser explained this because F2 want to grab the last minute chances to practise rehearsing. By going thru the arrival hall, they would have wasted some time to get through the crowd. It might have already wasted some time. Soon very quickly, F2 just went as quickly to the Expo Hall w/o taking any lunch. According to inner reports, the production crew have helped them to order their favorite food in Singapore - Chicken rice, vegetables, Bo Li Chicken and some chicken inner organs. As you can see, F2's schedule was so tight that none of them have the time to rehearse.

Jerry will be singing as usual the most romantic one "Wo Shi Zhen De Zhen De Hen Ai Ni". As for ZZ, he will be most likely to perform earlier than Jerry. As the Charming Prince of most girls, he will present his 'most outstanding song - Ai Zai Ai Ni' It is also said that Jerry will be performing a new song which he havent finish memorising it. Time was rushing out, altho F2 isnt nervous anymore to such big size Concert, F4 fans worried that they cannot see as much of F2 in the concert.

7 Gen-Y Celebs gathered at Singapore Expo Hall 2 yesterday to present a spectacular concert to raise funds for NKF Children Kidney Foundation. This time, these 7 celebs let the whole audience of some 8000 fans, to satisfy their 'hunger' for their idols in one concert at a go! Fan Yi Chen, Ah Bao and Brandy, Qiu Ze, Jiang Mei Qi, Penny Dai had their own individual fans to support them.. However, when its ZZ and Jerry Yan's turn, the whole event just slide into a whole new circumstances of excitement, everything seems out of control! Fans dashed and pushed their way through to the front to capture images of F2. The scene was very chaotic, one of the audience almost got into a fight with the securities!

FANS LOST CONTROL.
SECURITIES HAD A CONFRONTATION WITH FANS!

Security guards had a rule that the fans are not allowed to stand on the chairs because it might blocked the viewers' from viewing the performance. However, fans were 'crazy' that they got into a conflict with the securities!

When it was ZZ's turn to perform, many fans put down everything and seems not to care, and stand up just to see their idols' faces which have long ago not seen anymore. It then caused fans sitting in the centre to stand up on the chairs to see ZZ.

Some security guards tried their wits to stop these fans from standing up on the chair, but becase there were too many people, everything wasnt successful. When one of the security guards tried to force a girl down to her seat, the father of the girl wasnt content and pleasant or satisfied with the securities' action. He then yelled at him that "ARE YOU TRYING TO DESTROY OUR MOOD OF VIEWING THE CONCERT?" The scene became very critical that fans viewing beside them were stunned as well.

In order to ensure everything is going smoothly and in order. securities in charge decided not to stop these fans action anymore and let them do what they like to do. This then made the event less critical and unhappy.

Yesterday's concet was performed together by 7 superstars, every stars have their own fans, however, more than half the audience were here to support F2.

ZZ is the 6th performer. He wore a bright yellow shirt and his face seems to be a littlte bit chubby or 'fatter'. But these doesnt affect his coolness and manly appearance at all! Once he appeared, all the female fans stand up as a crowd, which made ZZ a little bit shocked and surprised.

The first song he sang was Wo Hu Xi Ni, followed by Ni De Ti Wen and lastly, Ai Zai Ai Ni which all 3 songs were from both of his albums.

When ZZ was singing the 2nd song, the frontstage's machine suddenly rocketted a deafening sound out. Actually, these machines were there to release small little colour papers to bring out the ambience of the concert. It did startle ZZ a little, but after knowing whats happening, ZZ gave a smiling face again, that made all the fans standing there yelling and screaming again!

When singing Ai Zai Ai Ni, ZZ intentionally changed the lyrics of Ai Zai Ai Ni to Zai Zai Ai Ni... these made the fans even more joyous and crazy than ever!

Its been a while since ZZ performed in a concert in Singapore. Obviously, ZZ singing skills and performance have improved. He not only improve, but also gained a sense of humour! When the host requested ZZ to perform a few stuns he did in Pepsi Advertisement, ZZ could only do few of it properly because he was laughing and giggling continuously when he was doing. macho stuns became humourous actions in the end.

When host ask ZZ, are you going to release a 3rd album, and if it is, when is it most likely to release? Then ZZ replied quickly at a speed of light, and joked that, "I think you should ask Jerry, because he havent even release one yet" LOL! The whole crowd was laughing til they cant breathe!

F2 did not communicate much on the stage

Although everyone was discussing their feelings in the backstage, F2 Jerry Yan and Vic Chou didnt communicate much at all when they were up in the stage for thanking the fans, This gave the media an impression that F2 might not be in good relationship?

Zaizai Jerry Yan Charm covers 6 stars

6 celebrities sacrificed their "voices" but still didn't cover the charm of F4's Jerry Yan & Zaizai.

Gen Y Charity Concert was held at Singapore Expo Hall 2 last night. 8 different new genertaion stars were gathered at this event and it was a record breaking. For example, the Mei Shao Nan who have stepped out of the entertainment circle brought his own band to Singapore for the first time and did a Live Band performance; 15th Golden Melody Best Group winner Ah Bao and Brandy; Van Fan who was the ambassador for Xiao Yuan Da Shi, Penny Dai . Among all, Jerry Yan & Zaizai was the most popular.

The singers did their voices but still the whole concert was not in a high mood. For 2 hours, fans were very obedient sitting down listening. When the time come for it to throw posters, once fans heard of Zaizai and Jerry's signature, they started to become more noisy.

Until 10.45pm when Penny Dai sang Meteor Garden's song Ni Yao De Ai, that was when audiences started going high. As Penny lead the singing on stage, audiences downstage started singing together, for this, we could see the popularity of Meteor Garden.

During the first few celebrities performing, some audiences waved their light sticks with their hands. When Zaizai came upstage, lots of fans rushed foward, when Jerry Yan came up, more fans stood up on their chairs, among , there were aunties and also Malays.

F2 was clever on stage too, when Zaizai was singing Ai Zai Ai Ni, he put in effort and sand, " Zaizai Ai Ni", making fans hear till they were attracted. When Jerry sang Yue Liang Dai Bai Wo De Xin, all fans could not hold control of themselves.

Jerry Yan : F4 is always the best!

F4's popularity dropping? Although its hard to see them 4 back on stage, However, yesterday night, Jerry supported F4 and said, "F4 is always the best!"

Earlier on, there were so many news of F4 going down the slope. However, the performance last night have shown, there are still alot of people who supports F4. There were most F4 fans last night, they grandly took the middle block of the place. Among, there were fans from Indonesia, Malaysia, Phillipines, Korean and Taiwan.

When Jerry got upstage wearing a white V-necked tee, white sweater and jeans, it was the highest mood in the scene, each and every move of him, was moving fans' hearts too.

Jerry sang songs like , Wo Shi Zhen De Zhen De Hen Ai Ni, Zhi You Wo and Yue Liang Dai Bai Wo De Xin. In between he gave many adorable smiles, showing his dimple at times, the shy charming look got people's hearts even more.

Many times while singing , he places his microphone towards the fans, to allow everyone to sing together, he says, he thanks everyone for singing with him , "Because i'm very nervous."

Jerry dedicated the song Yue Liang Dai Bai Wo De Xin to F4. " Have not been singing on stage for quite some time, i'm very suprised today to see so many fans still supporting F4, i'm really very happy....no matter how many challenges we face with this road, F4's still the best, Everyone, please continue to support F4!"

Jerry Yan says Himself : "Feels inferior standing beside Zaizai"

Zaizai's Shen Qing, makes Jerry inconfident, " Zaizai is perfect in different ways, when i stand beside him, i'll feel inferior."

When Zaizai was being questioned on when his album would be released yesterday, he said, " Ask Mr Yan first, he have not released his first solo album."

Afterwhich, Jerry revealed that his album would be released in July or August. 2 of those who helped make this album was local, Li Si Song and Li Wei Song. " I hope everyone can hear my improvement, because the other 3 are too good!"

Jerry commented again, " Zaizai is borne-emotional, when he was singing Zaizai Ai Ni just now, i was listening at the side, i feel he is the prince walking out from a comic, i feel inferior beside him, he is so perfect is some ways."

He continues to say, Vanness is a dance genius, all the time, you can feel the charm he has, Ken is like me, have higher expectations of ourselves..."

Asking Jerry fans who were at the side on how was his performance, Xiao Fen who claims Jerry as her boyfriend says that, "It doesn't matter whether he sings well or not, at least he's singing Live!" (How do you know?) "That's because he went out of tune!"

Another fan, Mavis(22 years old) says, " When Jerry smiles, he's very good looking, i like guys who bites their lips! You can even see his dimple when he smiles!"

Zaizai got scared by Papers Bursting, Couldn't continue singing

During singing, papers burst and Zaizai got a shocked, instead, he kept laughing and said, " I was being scared!"

When Zaizai was singing Ni De Ti Wen, colourful papers in front suddenly bursted open, He was actually singing " Ni De....." He sort of started to continue to sing but not long after, he started laughing and laughing, during the song accompanment, Zaizai said, " It scared me!" And started to laugh and laugh. F4 act as spidermen


The Pepsi commercial that F4 filmed in Jordan will be broadcasted in Taiwan on the 15th. The 4 hung on steel wires to fly and walk on walls. Their defense skills were prestigious. However, the four risked their lives for this prestigious appearance. Vanness Wu and Jerry Yan hung on steel wires on a 10 story high cliff acting as spidermen. ZZ risked his life flying between cliffs while Ken Zhu overcame his fear of heights.

This commercial that Pepsi’s 9 stars worked together hasn’t been broadcasted in Taiwan yet. But fans that couldn’t wait already downloaded the commercial off the internet to view. However, starting on July 15th you will be able to see the 1 minute version of the first chapter on the sofa of your living room. The second chapter will follow with a mysterious guest fighting with F4.

All 9 stars are very powerful. F4 took the important responsibility of hanging on steel wires, flying in the air to save people, walking walls, and other challenging actions. In the second chapter F4 split into 2 groups at an 8 story high cliff to film. In a scene that only lasts a few seconds, 100 people were needed to control steel wires. Vanness Wu and Jerry Yan only depended on the steel wires. They were climbing up the walls like spiderman. ZZ and Ken Zhu stood on the wall assisting them.

After the scene was done filming, Jerry and Vanness were too playful. The 2 spidermen were playing on the cliff and scared the crew. When the 4 were coming down from the cliff, rocks kept on falling down so it was frightening and dangerous. In the commercial ZZ is in charge of flying and walking on walls. He said, “There’s a lot of pressure. If I NG, then the 8 would murder me. Does the director actually think that my defense skills are the best or is he joking with me?”

Pepsi Nine Stars, "Goes Beyond Desire"

F4 - Ken Chu : Unity, forgiving, trust is the main point for going beyond desire. Determination and challenges is a experience that Pepsi gave me.

F4 - Vic Zhou : Do not under estimate yourself, be brave and accept challenges. You will realise your potential.

New Pepsi ad premiered in Hong Kong Last Night

F4, Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun), Jolin Tsai (Choi Yi Lam) and Edison Chan Koon Hei's Pepsi ad will premiere in Hong Kong tonight. Tonight the full one minute version will air. The second installment will air next Monday in China and Taiwan and a mystery guest will join in, flying over roofs with F4 in the ad. The dramatic version music video will air later.

The first installment will feature all nine stars, the second F4's gaility. During the shoot they hung in mid air for more than an hour. Jerry Yen (Yin Sing Yuk) even lost his balance and nearly hit his head on the rocks. Luckily the 100 wire pushing stunt professionals saved him in time.
Vic Chou (Chow Yu Man) and Ken Chu Hau Tin put their feet against the rocks for a break. Later Jai Jai said, "It's very stressful. If I mess up a take and we have to reshoot, the others will kill me!" Hau Tin has a fear of heights but did not say anything to prevent hindering the shoot. The director praised his professionalism after finding out.

Anti Ta Ta Young Fever Rages

Yamaha Thailand had announced the concert of the four heart-throbbing Taiwan idols....F4 in Thailand which is scheduled to be playing on August 30th.

The fans have been waiting for almost 2 years to get the sight of all four of them together on live performance since the series Meteor Garden had been shown in the beginning of last year. Now Yamaha and Sony Thailand(BEC Tero) will make their dreams come true by negotiating with Fulong to invite F4 to perform in Thailand. They would spent over 50 million baht for this promotional program.

After the fans heard that there would be a guest at this concert who would perform an 1 hour overture and leaving F4 1 hour to perform, they were outrageous by what they heard. Eventhough Sony Music did not announced the guest of the show yet, but many are confident that it would be TaTa Young, the thai-american popstar that is now well known in Asia. It could possibly be the promotional plan from Sony Music to give TaTa Young a grand opening to the Thai fans after it have been know that she could not strike the hearts of the Thai fans when she first launched her album.

The F4 fans claimed that they dont want to spent their monthly savings to buy a 6000 baht ticket to watch TaTa Young on stage with F4. They fear that TaTa would "attack" their pop stars like they have seen her passion for Jay Chou and Wang Lee Hom when they came to visit Thailand. The fans said that they could not imagine this 'sexy naughty b*t*hy' singer wandering around F4 members. And some even went further saying that they would boycott first part of the show by not entering the concert hall until F4 appreared. Some said they would be practicing booing and screaming all together before they go to this concert.

4 Young male students from University of Taiwan officially met with the media. Set up by William, Cai Lich’un, Tang Chiahao, Chen Tsunwen, these 4 male didn’t have excellent background.

Voices from Yamaha Website…A force that brings F4 to Thailand

On July 14,2004 the official press conference on "Yamaha Make Your
Life Different Presents Bangkok Fantasy with F4 Live in Bangkok "
concert was officially announced at Centerpoint, Siam Square. The
event was decorated with spectacular super-sized images of the 4
gorgeous idols that seemed to be looking and smiling at fans all the
time. Super-sized images were also placed on the stage thus creating
cheerful and delighted atmosphere. At 2.30 p.m., there were some
games on F4 on the stage like for instance, singing and dancing
contest to win F4 poster. Overall mood was pretty amusing.

After a while, guests for this press conference (including the guest
artist for the concert - Art Vacation) came and shared their thoughts
about F4 and expectation for the upcoming concert. Loud screams was
heard immediately when VTR began to show "F4 Special" scoop .

Before the event ended, executive from Thai-Yamaha also shared her
impression of F4 when they came to shoot Yamaha commercials last
year. She said that they were diligent, hardworking, professional as
well as easygoing. After SWITCH commercial was launched, there were
countless requests for F4 concert in Thailand. After discussion with
related entities, the dream finally came true. This concert is a
special gift for F4 fans – a chance where fans would get to meet
their idols up close and live in Thailand. Yamaha will also prepare
special games for fans on August 30th where souvenirs and gifts will
be given.

Finally, concert tickets were presented to special guests of the day
and the press conferences ended with fans taking photo with those
super-sized images.

Star Studded Night

It was a night of Mandopop stars at the Gen-Y Mega Star Pop

Getting to see your fave Mandopop acts while doing your bit for charity - that was how fans of Van Fan, Abao & Brandy, Jiang Meiqi, Roy Chiu, Penny Dai, Vic Chou and Jerry Yen killed two birds with one stone.

Organised to raise funds for the NFK Children's Medical Fund, the Gen-Y Mega Star Pop Concert 2004 was an event of star-studded proportions. Held at the Singapore Expo Hall 2 on 25 June, it was hosted by MediaCorp Radio DJs Dennis Chew (Chongqing) and Lingzhi.

Guitar Talent
Van Fan kicked off the show - he takes over from SHE as the Youth Ambassador for the NKF Children's Medical Fund this year - with "Rainbow", a tune from his first album. He followed that with "Can't Stop" and "Believe In Love", stopping in between songs to tell of how he used to be very sickly as a kid and how his parents had to worry about their finances because of his illnesses.

Hip-Hop Duo
Taiwanese Golden Melody Award winners Abao & Brandy were next up, performing three songs from their debut album. Sadly, the crowd weren't very enthusiastic about their performance. But we reckon the duo did wonders on their final track "I Don't Love You", showing off their almos perfect harmony.

Petite But Powerful
It's common knowledge that Jiang Meiqi is a talented singer, but it's never as obvious as when you listen to her perform "live", just like at this concert. And the fans knew it too - she got the loudest cheers of the first three acts. She started off with "101 Answers", the current single that's hogging the airwaves and "Not Too Long", later going into "Help From God" and "My Love, Why Aren't You With Me" Every single song was almost pitch perfect, poof of her powerhouse vocals.

Rock Wannabe
One has to ask why in the world Roy Chiu was performing at this charity concert. He certainly didn't look like he was interested in the fact that he was helping unfortunate kids. You got the feel he was in it for the chance to perform onstage with his three-piece band. That said, his performance was pretty good, considering that he was suffering from food poisoning and a high fever on the day of the concert. He got the loudest screeches when he stripped his suit jacket off to perform their final song, "I Don't Understand" in a skimpy tank top.

Indie Chick
It's difficult to classify Malaysian singer Penny Dai - her music is neither pure pop, nor pure indie, nor pure folk. All we can recognise is her immense talent. Kicking off with "Cinderella" and "Bomb Shelter", she gave her songs a Cranberries feel to it, like something you'd expect to hear in "Zombie". She might sound mild on her albums, but her prowess is definitely nest seen onstage. She closed her night's performance with the song that rocketed her to fame - "The Love You Want", which has also the closing heme for the "mama" of all idol dramas, Meteor Garden.

Prince Charming
From the moment you stepped into the Singapore Expo hall, you just knew who the fans were here for - half of F4, aka F2. The first of the pair to perform was Vic Chou, with a single off his second album "I Breathe You". There was absolute mania the moment he stepped onstage, with fans standing on chairs and screaming their heads off. His especially long hair (kept for the role in the new drama God Of War was mussed and tousled, giving the already sleepy looking singer a "just out of bed" look.

His interview with Lingzhi and Dennis was the most hilarious, with comments like "earning money is my interest" and a horse-riding pose (he was supposed to act like he was riding a motorbike), breaking the audience into laughs. The funniest bit of his performance? When he obviously got a shock of his life during his rendition of "Your Body Temperature", thanks to the confetti guns at the front of the stage going off, almost in his face.

F4 fans: we're exploited

F4 fans blamed the organizer that they were taken advantages. The ticket price is 6,000 Baht while the seats are set too far. The organizer, BEC Tero, rebuffed F4's team were set the seat plan and insisted the price is the lowest in Asia!!

F4 is a Taiwanese boyband consisting of Jerry of Yan Cheng Xu, Vic or Zhouyumin, Ken of Chuxiotian and Vanness or Wu jianhao. They brought a miracle thoughout Asia from both their music and the series called "Metoer Garden" in mid-2002 .Their popularity has risen and reach to the peak when they're 1st coming together for the concert held in Thailand at Impact Arena, Muangthongtani.

However, the concert was stongly criticized that many people could buy the tickets beforehand and it is unfair! The fans had to pay the highest level of the ticket price, 6000 Baht, but the seats close to the stage are not allocated for the fans.

"Komchadluek" gathered what the fans said in the website www.pantip.com in F4 4ever section, a community established more than a year for F4 fans.

The fans are painful as F4'd become ants!!

In the thread talking about the seats, many fans posted their expressions after the seat plan was announced through http://www.f4thailand.com. A fan called "Seng" said, " The plan is most cruel. Too many 6k seats??

Another fan named @AiLaoWai@ said,"Being a F4 fan is suffering. We are looked down and be exploited.What a greatest seat plan!! I've never seen!!"

A fan named sailormoon said," So cruel! it's unfair! Most of the fans are students. We are taken advantages. Adults exploit Children."

Qingqing sarcastically said,"We're going to see Ant-F4 as we think they would be so small as the ants" Besides these expressions, somebody suggested the fans bringing a telescope to watch F4. The highest price(6000 Baht) ticket must be at a good position of staying closely to the artist However,in "Bangkok Fantasy with F4" concert, the fans paid 6,000 Baht,can't get the front seats as usual.

Orginally, an area of the highest price is included some rows on the 1st floor and some seats on the 2nd floors but for this concert, the area is expanded.No more 2nd- floor seats for a lower price level! Anyone holding 4,000 Baht ticket has to stay further in the back.

Qingqing expected that the plan maybe originally from the demand of the fans who keep trying to buy the tickets before they are officially sold. It seems to be chaotic and the organizer realized that the fans were ready to buy the highest price to stay as close as possible to 4 guys. This brought about a big chance of setting 6k seats in a half of a capacity of the venue since the fans need to pay. "I have to eat instant noodle for a month to watch 4 ants"

In another big community of the fans,www.f4thailand.com, there are also lots of comments in such a hot issue. A fan named JuXiaotian posted "Good news for the sellers as the demand responses their goals 5555555! The seller will earn a lot and the fans are absolutely cheated.

v_jump&vanness said " The amount 6,000 Baht is not easily affordable. One of my friend has to eat instant noodle for a month. Let's see..., if my parents knew that I would pay 6,000 baht to watch 4 ants dancing on the stage,how would they think of ? Are those adults concerned only earning without considering others? They always thought the fans still watch F4 whatever happens and we would be so foolish as pigs???

only_i said "The great delighted feeling of watching a concert i've been looking forward for a long time is over!. I felt alright even the price is so high. Then the plan coming out let me disappointed. Selling only 6k price ticket without other lower price'd better! ". A fan named "little v" said,"I'm so disappointed. The ticket is expensive but how come they react us like this! Crazy!! would they exploited us as much as possilble?"

Yamaha forwarded the comments to BEC Tero

Yamaha-motor, a major sponser of the concert said in pantip.com "The details of the concert ,plan and the price level, are negotiated by Bec Tero (the organizer) and F4's agency. Everything has been approved, including public relation activities, performances and a guest artist. About the ticket price, the organizer and the agency have run suitably.

The ticket price and the seat plan have been ask a lot from both the phone and the website. We would like to announce that Bec Tero has the right to run the concert. We can't not respond all f4 fans' requests. Yamaha-motor is the one bringing F4 to Thailand. We would like you considering in overall, considering an intention of many organizations,including F4 fans who do hope the concert'd occur successfully in Thailand.

The comments and recommendations are concerned. We would tell any persons involved. If the comments brought about changes, success and made everyone happy,we would be pleasant.


The organizer rebuffed the price was the lowest.

Mr.Raksit Rakkarndee, the manager of concert department of Sonymusic BEc Tero Entertainment company,said to "komchadluek"."We discriminate many price level to response various groups of audiences, from 1,000 to 6,000 baht. All area on the 1st floor is for people holding 6,000 baht ticket while the area in upper level is for other price level and the capacity is 10,000 seat.

The organizer insisted that the seat plan's idea partially came from F4's team and rejected that we did not definitely take any advantages of the Thai fans.

"The price of F4 concert in Thailand is the lowest in Asia. In the philippines, the highest price was 13,400 Baht. The expenditure of the concert and what we paid for the artist is around 50 million baht and we expect that the tickets will be immediately sold out when they are available.

The concert won't be rerun and held on 30th Aug only. Pre-sale tickets (1,000 seats) are available for yamaha customers,the official sponser,on 28th. Then, they are availble in general on 31th of July. We've heard that Real F4 fans will gather there and stay in a queqe during the night.

At 10pm on July 23rd, a newsreporter received a report that in front of Yamaha's company on Paholyotin Road opposite from the Elephant Tower, there was a group of teenagers which were fans of F4 -- the famous artist from Taiwan which will come to perform in Thailand for the first time on the 30th August at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani. At the arrival, there was a group of teenagers consisted of mainly women -- about 30 people and men not more than 5 people mostly to come wait with their girlfriends. All of them came here to wait and buy tickets for this upcoming concert. When asked why they were waiting this time, due to the knowledge that the tickets would be start selling at 10am the next day, they all said in one voice that they wanted to receive tickets that are in front of the stage in order to get close with the artists they like. The prices of the tickets for this upcoming performance are 6,000 4,000 2,500 and 1,000 baht the least.

F4 Fans Protests for the Ticket Prices

At the coming end of August, F4 Fans in Thai are supposed to be happy that their idol is coming in a concert, that's said guaranteed to be splendid. But the reality is otherwise, numerous fans state their dissapointment towards the concert.

Is it because F4's fault? No, they are reasoned for the expensive tickets and unsupported by the seats they deserve. The fans said that they are being exploited by the sponsors and agents whom wishes to get the maximum benefit.

One of the fans states her regretness. She thinks that a 4000 baht ticket which is the cheapest are totally incomparable with the benefit they get, as for this class the seats are way too far that F4 will only be seen like ants.

But the agents denies that they coincidently raises the price for their own benefits.

"We give different prices for each levels, but that is totally related to the seats capacity and the numerous of people watching. Besides, the prices in Thai are the cheapest so far of all the places F4 has done a concert in."
"It must be informed that the highest price in Phillipines is about 13.400 Baht, while in Thailand itself is only 8.000. Other than that, we had to get 50 million to pay F4."

News From The BEC Tero Team

By now, F4 fans would already know about the additional round of F4's concert on the 29th August, because BEC Tero was the one who added another round of concert from seeing how the feed back was overwhelming. Also, all of the four guys accepted the offer. BEC Tero confirmed that the concert would be more than an hour, but not sure if it'll be till two hours. This is up to the four guys, but there will be a Thai artist (Art from "Vacation Band") performing for the fans first.

F4's concert this time would contain a "Full Band", and BEC said that there'll be as little lip sync as much as possible. Also, F4 will have a surprise for Thai fans which will bring a guest artist from Taiwan to collaborate with too.

Now BEC is trying hard to boost up the production process of the tickets for the 29th August concert to get ready for the public sell on the 31st July.

A warning to all of the fans to becareful of any people that could trick you, because the tickets that were distributed till now were only from Yamaha in the Pre-sale on the 24th and 25th July. BEC Tero side did not give any tickets to anyone yet, even to the people in the company, till the day of the official public sale on the 31st July.
