this is the first series i've seen miu in too. i was struck by his coolness and masculinity compared to the others. i also love his interactions with all the other characters. i love all miu and sammul scenes, miu and chin ka lok are soo funny.
i actually think that michelle yim looks a bit too old to be paired up with miu. maybe cause i imagine her being paired up with people like adam cheng and damien lau. i don't feel much chemistry between them. i don't like how she keeps throwing her sister at him either. but i'm really feeling their relationship after the story line about how miu has liked michelle since middle school. and now that he's trying to pursue her, she's avoiding him

. i'm stuck on episode 20 too, can't wait!
cbale456, thanks for both the english and chinese forums. thank goodness for those couple years of chinese school, i was able to work my way thru the chinese forum...it didn't help that it's in simplified chinese either. but from all the interviews and stuff, he seems like such a outgoing and cheerful guy, not like his TA character at all. and he loves to smile, and what a smile he has

Wow this is ur first Miu series? Go and immediately get your hands on Chor Lau Heung 1984! You've never lived until you see the rest of his series. lol.
I really like all the Miu and Sammuel scenes too--they are both my favorite 2 characters in the series. I do agree michelle yim looks a bit old for Miu but in "It is You" Miu is pairing up with Melissa Ng who's pretty young. I think she would be better. I guess tvb noticed too hehe. I've watched up to eps 22 so far and let me tell you I felt really bad for Miu at the end of eps 21. You will know what I mean when u see it. Too sad

.
You are lucky you know some chinese because I pretty much don't know it at all and I have to rely on a translation website to help me navigate at first haha. Not easy to do at all and it took me awhile. But for Miu, it's all worth it! haha. And yea Miu is very outgoing and also very outspoken. I just love him!

Here's Michael on some gameshow. I don't know what the show is called. But it's something where you're supposed to choose what should happen in two different situations. At least I think that's what it is. It sucks not knowing Cantonese.
Cbale456, thanks for translating.

I just finished watching and wow first let me say Miu looks soooo handsome in the show!
Here's the translation (Do u only want translation for Miu parts because that's the only parts I can actually pay attention to lol.):
First, the concept of the show is that a clip of an event will be shown and people have to decide whether given the scenario if the law has been broken. Those who guess wrong leave and those who guess right stay.
When Miu enters, Dodo the host says "He's recently become Ah Sir (in reference to The Academy") but let's see how much he knows about the law. It's Miu Kiu Wai!"
Then a clip shows 2 actresses who hate each other to begin with. One slaps the other and the other gets mad at her because she slapped her for real and wants to sue her.
Then Dodo goes to the audience for opinion. If audience press red light, means they think the law is broken and can sue. If yellow, no law is broken.
Miu presses red and says "I think the law is broken because as actors when we have to film such a scene, there should be communication between the 2 actors." Dodo says "but you know when filming you want realism. I've had my share of slaps as well." Miu says "well you should have called the cops then" (Miu is so funny

). Dodo says "how do I call the cops!"
When it's the short guy Eric Tsang's turn, he presses red. He says "there was this one time with Chun Bak Cheung...Miu, you were there too!" and Miu says "Chun Bak Cheung deserves to get slapped!" haha. Eric continues, "Well the actor slapped him real hard but the director said it's not good enough and told him to do it harder and for reals. The actor slapped Cheung so hard that he fainted" and Miu says "he can't sue because he fainted" and Eric says "well ifi someone has to be sued it's the director not the actor."
The answer is yellow--the law is not broken and can't be sued. There was some legal mumble jumble and terminology that I really didn't get so I can't really explain. haha
Next clip: a guy walks into the store and tells the lady he really likes the chair and wants to buy if for 1000 bucks. The lady says she made it herself for ornamentation but eventually sold to him anyway since he really wanted it. His girlfriend hurts her back when she sits on it and breaks it. He goes back to the lady and demands payment.
Eric preses yellow (saying no payment is required) and says "see Miu sells eyeglasses..." Dodo says "how is it related to Miu?" and eric says "if I go into his store and want to buy eyeglasses but I see his dog is cute and I buy it and the dog bites my daughter it's not Miu's fault."
Miu's turn, he says "what's the fun if no one has to pay?" and presses red! "Ofcourse u gotta pay. I think gotta pay because there was a transaction involving money. For example u sell a car to me today--I'm not a carmaker--but it's a personal transaction. I buy the car and it breaks down after just 3 days don't u think you should pay for my losses?"
Answer is red (miu's right this time!) because the lady never said that the chair is ONLY for ornamentation. She only said SHE herself uses it for ornamenation so she has to be responsible.
BTW, do u mind if I post this link for others to d/l in the other 2 forums? Thanks!
Oh yea, are there other clips of Miu you know of? You don't have to upload it just tell me and I'll try to find it. The weird thing is that I don't think even the chinese site had a link to this download. I just want to make sure I get my hands of everything that is Miu that's all haha. I never even knew Miu was on this show.
