The theme song he sang for War and Beauty was terrible. Gives me a headache everytime I hear it. But the one for Misleading Track is at least bearable.

Yah, agree he sounds aweful and he looks even more aweful...I'm not being hateful just think he's not good-looking to be the lead actor and I wondered how the heck he's ever got so popular? I haven't watched TVB series since 97 'cause by then all my fave actors have left TVB so I don't know how he became popular. But because he doesn't look good, I don't watch most of his series. War and beauty was just okay but there were no good-looking actors so I didn't bother to watch it. My sister watched it and fast-forward most of the time too and she said it was boring. So i wonder how it got such a high rating in HK last year?
TVB series are just getting bader and bader everyday...the themesong sux, the singer sux, the storyline sux, and the actors are becoming ugly...that's why more and more people are watching taiwain, mainland, and Korean series...

he doesn't have a very good voice but for some reason i loved most of the themesongs he sang! esp. the one in WAB and MT!

It's just once in a while he sounds really BAD... but I really liked the sub song he sang with Kelly for Jewels In the Palace. A really good song!!

I think he sounded fine with the theme song of War and Beauty. Its got great lyrics and it matches his voice. Although, he didn't sound too good in his other songs.

Please don't mistake a good song with a good singer. His series songs MELODIES SOUND good, but having HIM SING them just ruin the songs!

I think he's very good in acting. Besides the song for War And Beauty he should stick to acting. He should play in more series now.

songs were good, but his singing isn't as good. especially when he hits the higher notes of a song it can go somewhere else. but other than that, his acting ain't bad.

I don't find anything wrong with his singing, though his voice can be a bit monotonous, the War and Beauty theme is fine. The Misleading Track theme is actually worse than the War and Beauty theme in my opinion. Bowie can act though, its just the crying scenes that don't look proper.

omg, this dude cant sing for life but at least hes better than Gallen lo and Raymond Lam. he sounds soo old and cranky + hes sooo ugly. Wassup with TVB these days using ugly stars who cant even act lolz. tsk tsk...

His singing is awful, i must say.....his acting is 'so so' though....not particularly interested in his movies.

his singing is terrible....i think in the late 80s or early 90s some record company actually let him release an album. what were they thinking....just because he is a great actor at TVB does not (and should not) automatically translate into great singing ability...the only advice for him is stick to what he is good at...ACTING..

Bowie acting is really good but come to singing ....i think only on par ..... not really good ..... only those theam song with good lyric bring out the song and make his singing not that bad ....

he's not consistent with his singing. some songs he sounds good, some he sounds bad. i liked his song from war and beauty, but some of his other songs are like 'what the heck is that????'

Bowie first started as a singer.....but obviously that didn't work out for him. His acting is ok.....I don't really like his voice...but I kinda like the sub theme song for Jewel Palace...the one he sang with Kelly. Fast songs are not right for him. Doen't sound right..like the theme song for VF...I think Vilgant Force or something...

i love all the songs bowie sang for tvb theme & sub. i loveeee the invisible journey sub song and im still lookin for it ^^ loveee wab theme, lovee the sub itself and love it even more when i heard to duet version w/ gigi lai. i like his song for misleading track too =) except it duznt stand out like other songs of his.

Bowie songs aren't that great in my opinion, like its just like talking, theirs no real high or lows on his keys, i think he can't sing.

Bowie can't sing. He's pretty much emotionless when he sings and his voice isn't great either.

I think the only reason why his songs aren't unstandable are because they've been editted to sound better.

Well, Bowie is not a singer is he? Very good actor, Yes. Singing is only moderate, won't make money out of singing.

He should really stick to acting and let the SINGERS sing.. the only reason we tolerate it is because 1) the song itself is good and 2) we have some sort of attachement w/ it through the series..

Bowie Lam is just a Desperate Housewife killer. He cant sing. He cant act properly. Whenever he acts serious its as if he has something stuck in his thoart. His like a statue. Only got looks, but his not that good looking. Should just go and start business with housewives as a target. I cant believe tvb went to the trouble of promoting him with a full cd that sold out before release. His so over-rated it bugs meh
