OMG this girl very rules. He sing better than so stupid noob. for exemple twins, they don't have the voice but she had it. SO u guy sould buy her cd.

Everyone's been talking about her recently, so out of curiousity I went and dl'd her album....and it sounded really good!! She has a great voice. I read that she's actually 1/2 korean and 1/2 filipino...but her cantonese is quite good. The media is saying that she's going to be the next "IT" girl. I've been so dissapointed with all the hk newcomers lately, this is like a breath of fresh air.

I've heard a lot about her and how they wouldn't show her face or something to that effect. I don't really know what that was all about but from what I hear about eveyrone she's a really good singer. I really hope so-- I've heard that about so many new HK singers. Hope she's great!

hihi. i just wanna let u guys know of a new idol in HK called Janice Wei. SHe is part chinese, part korean, and part filipino. SHe sings very well, in chinese and in english. Her new album Day and Night sings all old Leon songs, some in english too. Please pay attention to her go Janice!!

I would go to say that she's the best active singer in the HK singing industry right now. Before her, I thought Joey Yung has honed up her voice these 2 years quite okay, but this girl really blows her away. I'm not a particular fan yet because I have only heard one CD, but her CD is really superb. I was VERY surprised. Her control of voice and sense of music and artistic quality is incomparable to anyone in Hong Kong I think. I think this girl really knows how to sing. She is basically a Coco Lee potential in terms of fame. I honestly think that, although it's her first album and it's her debut, she is already ranking at the top in terms of musicality.

Yeah, I agree she's better than the so called 'singers' in hk now. But I disagree with your statement that you think she is not pretty. If she is successful and gets the recognition for the singing then that's being a proper singing. People shouldn't look at a singers looks before they decide to buy an album or try their songs. That's why the music industry is so bad at the moment with all these singers that can't even sing to save their life! Back to Janice - she is quite a good singer and hope that she will improve and sing more canto songs - no doubt with Leon's support she will become the best newcomer this year.

the song name is 'ching sum shut wa mei cheng gong', it was originally by Leon. She sings part of it in English, and the other in Cantonese, but her Cantonese has that 'foreign' accent.

dis girl is good! i love her voice. Its so BEAUTIFUL. even though i was a bit dissappointed that her album was all covers for leons, but i sitll love it. even though her chinese kinda sux in it but its improving! lol like in her song "big brother" but yeah.. i love her voice and shes PRETTY TOO ! lol

my friend recently sent me all her songs. she's mediocure. not really that great in my opinion. some of the songs' lyrics are really cheesy. there's this one english song i remember that was particularly cheesy.

yah i heard of her... gotta say she did pretty good in her first album but i found the slows being a little to slow.. i rather prefer songs with a little faster beat... i think she have a nive voice... reminded me of coco lee a little... it seems like janice is from america since she don't have any accent in her songs...

Big Brother is a really good song! I've heard her album and her canto is a bit off but that doesn't matter and the english lyrics are kinda cheesy imo. Her voice is really good. Better than some of the artists already around. She will make it big. Her voice kind of has a North American feels too it...like very Christina Aguilera.

I heard Janice's song 'Big Brother' when my friend let me listen to it on her mp3.. and I was really amazed by how strong her voice is compared to hk singers these days. Her voice is really strong but according to some of my friends she can't speak cantonese properly.. is that true? i was listening to her cd over and over again. she has a really good voice and it's nice to hear Leon's songs sang by a girl... it has a nice touch. And Janice has something that most HK singers dont: the ability to speak perfect english (or nearly perfect)

I think she's quite good looking, in a pure and innocent kind of way, and she's ok at singing...... I don't think she's good at singing but because she has a different, unique voice, i reckon she could become quite popular, and is proven by her hit 'big brother'!!
I think it is also quite impressive that she's got the grasp of many languages, but her cantonese needs a bit more work on!!
It's looking likely that she will become the best newcomer this year!! providing she releases more and more hit songs!!!
