im happy that kevin won the best actor award too!! he really did prove his skill in acting this year. Although it is a shame that he has gotten so much criticism over his award. I read a recent newspaper report stating that about 80% of online voters and commentors thought that the award was undeserved. Which is totally NOT true. I loved kevin in Under the Canopy of LOve. Congrats!

Kevin Cheng Proposes to Niki Chow in 'The Most Beautiful 7th Day'

Captions: Kevin Cheng proposes to Niki Chow in "The Most Beautiful 7th Day." Niki smiles sweetly and the pair flirt in front of the camera, making it appear highly plausible that they are a real-life couple. Kevin and Niki will be heading to Japan to film outdoor winter scenes in January.
Earlier last week, Kevin Cheng Ka Wing filmed a proposal scene with Niki Chow Lai Kei in Sai Wan. The pair only hugged and did not kiss for the scene. After Niki accepted Kevin's proposal, she demurely hooked her arm through Kevin's arm and walked together blissfully.

Last week, Niki filmed a scene with Elaine in which they were looking for Niki's lost dog. Niki has many scenes with the dog in the series. "He is very intelligent and supplies a full range of emotions. One scene required the dog to be sad, and he whimpered convincingly!"

Kevin Cheng, Bernice Liu, & Yoyo Mung at New Year's Eve Promotion
Kevin Cheng Ka Wing, Yoyo Mung Ka Wai, and Bernice Liu Bik Yee attended a New Year's Eve promotional event at a mall last night. Fala Chen, Matthew Ko, Shine, Rednoon, etc. were also present to sing and play games. While creating a lively atmosphere, the stars had a New Year's countdown with the fans present.
Earlier there were rumors that Kevin has been diagnosed with diabetes and needed to take 6 months of rest. As a result, he received numerous messages inquiring about his health.
Kevin explained that he does not have diabetes, but only has high blood pressure. Besides being on a low-salt diet, Kevin also needs to take daily high blood pressure pills. "The Seventh Day" Cast Set Out for Japan
Niki Chow, Kevin Cheng, Selena Li and other cast members headed out to Nagoya yesterday morning to continue filming on location for TVB's new series "The Seventh Day" on a trip that will last ten days. Bosco Wong, Natalie Tong and Charmaine Li will be heading over to Japan next week to join the group at their second location site at Kanazawa, but they were also at the airport yesterday to see their colleagues off.

This is the first time visiting Nagoya for Niki and as she has to go and film in some villages, she will not be able to go shopping. Her favourite food is sushi, but with the recent reports of norovirus in Japan, the cast and crew have been warned not to eat any sushi or go to the hot springs. She smiles: "My mother also told me to be careful and the weather there is very cold, and I had a chest infection earlier, so I have brought a lot of clothes to keep warm and a dozen pairs of tights, as well as a hundred warm packs. (With you spending every day with Kevin, are you afraid of the paparazzi?) I know that some magazines will be following us around and I am afraid of them breaking into my room, but I will not actively avoid them."

As for the recent reports about Niki's sister Kathy finally issuing legal writs against two magazines for their reports alleging her cosmetic surgery, Niki supports her sister and says: "If you are pretty, you attract gossip, but I don't understand why they are targeting my sister. She did not say anything before and kept getting bullied, so now she should fight back. The reports say that my sister has had as many as 30 procedures, so not only is it exaggerated, it is a personal attack."

Niki adds that her sister has had some of her ads terminated as a result of these reports, so she has passed this to her solicitor to calculate her losses. She says angrily: "Each time there is news about cosmetic surgery, they have to involve my sister, any normal person will change over the space of ten years. However, it is all in the hands of the lawyers now. (There are suggestions that the doctor will be revealing his client list?) So funny? No comment. With the recent rumours linking Bosco and Natalie, will there be any awkwardness when they head out to Kanazawa together to film? They both say that they will not avoid each other. Bosco syas that when you are filming, it is inevitable that there will be rumours, so he will not take it to heart and will just act normal. Natalie will just go with the flow, just like filming a series. Although they play a couple in the series and will have some close contact, they both say that there is no chance of the love turning real.

Kevin was presented with three hand-knitted scarves by his fans yesterday to keep him warm in Japan. He syas that his very first girlfriend tried to knit him a scarf and he still has it because it has great sentimental value that is priceless. He also reveals that the TVB wardrobe mistress has also knitted him a scarf and he has taken it with him to Japan. Asked why she did this, he smiles: "Because she likes me! You just have to be good to other people and they will be good to you in return." As for the recent magazine reports that he is having injections to keep him alive, he smiles: "I am curious about why people always say that I am unwell. I have high blood pressure, but I just have to be careful of my diet and I am fine. I am not diabetic because I have a hard-working life and have to keep on working."

Kevin Cheng in New Movie with Charlene Choi
In a new movie produced by Wong Jing and directed by Got Man Fai, "The King of Fans"《Fans王》, Kevin Cheng Ka Wing plays a popular idol singer named Cheng Yan Yee.

During the filming several days ago at a mall, some bystanders thought that Kevin had really changed his name to Cheng Yan Yee.

"The King of Fans" also stars Twins member Charlene Choi, Steven Cheung, Wong Ho Shun etc. The scene spoke of Charlene also being a fan of Kevin's character and joins the crowd at the mall to see him.

It has been several years since Kevin last filmed a movie. He had a "Prince Charming" image and wore all white for the scene. Onset were 10 extras who wore custom t-shirts with the words "Cheng Yan Yee" on them.

The stage props also included a large sign with Kevin's character name printed on it, causing confusion among bystanders who wondered alound, "Isn't that Kevin Cheng Ka Wing? Did he change his name to Cheng Yan Yee?!"

Since Kevin's character's name shares the phonetic sound as Lydia Shum's daughter, Joyce Cheng Yan Yee's name, will this poke fun at Joyce's expense? Producer Wong Jing commented, "We are not concerned that Lydia will be upset. Kevin's character is an upright and extremely nice person in the movie."

During filming break, Charlene went to a nearby store to shop and stay warm, causing chaos as fans vied to take photos with her.

Former Boy'z member, Steven Cheung, spoke about fights breaking out among fans in the past. "Sometimes the fans would be there to support me, sometimes they would be there for Kenny Kwan. In the end, a fight broke out among the fans! We didn't know what to do!"

Wong Jing's beloved daughter, Ada, visited the set during filming. Wong Jing mentioned that his daughter will be attending a professional acting school to develop her talents.

Yea my sister and I met him two years ago when he was filming Under the Canopy of Love. We saw him just walking around because he wasn't filming yet so my sister and I went up to him and asked if he can take a picture with us. Being the gentleman that he is he said sure so we took turns taking our picture. When my sister was taking her picture Kevin asked her where we are from in english. Too bad he didn't talk to me but that's okay. hehe. And now that picture is on our refrigerator =) Also the weird thing was when we were taking our picture there were absolutely no fans around so we were kinda lucky we didn't have to compete with screaming fans!

Injured Kevin Continues Filming
The film 'Vermicelli King' held its start of filming ceremony yesterday and cast members including Kevin Cheng, Charlene Choi, Leo Ku, Vincent Wong joined Director Eric Kot at the event. As the venue was in the main street in Tin Hau, this attracted a crowd of onlookers and too eager to see what was happening, a child fell over and caused some commotion.

Kevin had an accidental fall earlier and injured his right arm. This was bound in plaster and in a sling yesterday and Kevin indicates he will have to see how well it recovers before they decide whether or not he needs an operation. Asked how he washes himself, he says with a little embarrassment that he could not wash his left armpit, so had to buy a brush to reach it. Asked if he has sought anyone to help him, he says he cannot afford that, so he has to do it himself.

Kevin has to eat with a knife and fork and when he was performing in China earlier, he was nursing his injury. Fortunately, everyone was very accommodating and he says: "I have learned not to take shortcuts now. No matter how well I know my home, I should still switch the light on to go down the stairs." He says that he has never broken his arm before, even as a child and he never imagined that this would happen after he had grown up. He says: "Life is so curious."

Kevin's character in this film is called 'Cheng Yan Yee' - is he not afraid that Joyce Cheng [Chinese name: Cheng Yan Yee] will be offended? He syas that this was the creation of the writers and he doesn't think that Joyce will mind. As his arm is injured, they may have to add an extra scene into the storyline to explain his injury. Talking of the earlier reports about his kissing incident with Niki Chow whilst filming in Japan, Kevin feels there is no need to respond because they were all pictures from the series and he just feels sorry for the paparazzi who had to start work with them every morning at 4am. Fortunately they were all very courteous and the only intrusion was when the kissing scenes had to be filmed several times because the sound of the camera shutters could be heard in the sound. When the reporters laughed that he should be even happier about this, he did not respond directly, just saying that the press's hard work has paid off and they have something to hand in.

Kevin Cheng Glad to Be a Father in "The Most Beautiful 7th Day"
Kevin Cheng Ka Wing and Niki Chow Lai Kei have returned from filming "The Most Beautiful 7th Day" in Nagoya, Japan. Despite the cold weather and long filming hours, Kevin was extremely happy while there.

Kevin noted, "In the series, I have a daughter. We cast a toddler [Japanese] girl as my daughter. She brought her younger brother to the set during filming. The little boy was so cute, it made me want to become a father and have kids of my own!"

Kevin and Bosco Tour Taiwan with Five Pretty Girls
Kevin Cheng and Bosco Wong headed over to Taiwan for some promotional work earlier and were accompanied by the "Five TVBS Flowers" - Lam Lap Man, Kei Man Wai, Yeung Pui Ting, Sa Sa and Chan Yi Ka as they tried out some local food. As Kevin had injured his arm, he was waited on by the girls, leaving Bosco a little envious.

The Taiwanese like to have supper in the form of congee and small dishes and Sa Sa and Kei Man Wai toko Bosco and Kevin to a speciality congee stall for supper. Faced with over ten different dishes, they found it hard to choose what to eat. Kevin saw one dish that was named 'mainland girl' and he found this quite amusing as he joked: "I don't want a 'mainland girl', I would like a 'Taiwan girl' instead!" When Bosco heard this, he laughed out loud, but the waitress didn't really understand.

After ordering, the four started eating, but as Kevin has injured his right arm, he found it difficult to eat and like a child, he had to use his own fork, but then the local guides decided to feed him and as he enjoyed the experience, Bosco looked on enviously.

Bosco is well known as a food lover and Sa Sa joined Lam Lap Man in taking him out to the well known street stands at night, where they treated him to a 'frogspawn' drink, tricking him into believing that the little tapioca pearls were actually real frogspawn and leaving him a little revolted. The two flowers know that Bosco often has to work late into the night, so they took him to try the 'Medicinal Herb Ribs' and after eating it, he said that he was full of energy and ready for anything.

As well as eating at the night markets, Taiwan also has other great places to go and Bosco, Sa Sa and Lap Man also went to play a ball throwing game and although he lost to the two girls, they still presented him with a 'carrot top phone case' as an encouragement gift for good luck.

With this luck, Bosco decided to try his fortunes by asking Chan Yi Ka and Yeung Pui Ting to take him to buy a local lottery ticket, where his eyes lit up when he heard that the top prize was NT$1 billion (HK$30 million). He quickly scratched at his card in the hope of winning lots of money and dreamed of how he would buy a new house, new car and new dog.

After this, Lap Man and Man wai took Bosco to go on Asia's tallest big wheel and when the three of them enjoyed the views of Taipei, Bosco asked the girls to teach him some Taiwanese, but when he tried it it made them all laugh. Bosco was a good sport though and continued to speak his heavily accented Taiwanese despite the laughs from everyone.

Bosco Wong & Kevin Cheng Have Dinner with Taiwanese Artists
Under TVB executive, Virginia Lok Yi Ling's arrangement, Bosco Wong and Kevin Cheng had an early Lunar New Year dinner celebration with several Taiwainese artists. When Bosco and Kevin met with He Junxiang, the three of them got along very well.

Earlier TVB had secretely made arrangements for He Junxiang to do some screen tests, to broaden his opportunities in Hong Kong. Although Junxiang may pose as competition for Bosco and Kevin, they are not afraid and rather look forward to collaborating with Junxiang in a romantic comedy or police drama.

When reporters asked Junxiang what he thought of Bosco and Kevin, he pondered for a moment, "Both of them are quite mature. The greatest difference was that Taiwanese males like to keep long hairstyles, while Hong Kong men prefer to keep their hair short, exuding a greater sense of 'sunshine feel!'"

Chinese New Year Greetings from Charmaine and Kevin
TVB's Best Actor and Best Actress Kevin Cheng and Charmaine Sheh have had a fruitful end to the year of the Dog and made a small fortune and they both hope that their luck will run into the new year. On the romance side though, they will go with the flow, Kevin says: "From the year before last, I started to buy plum blossom and people say that if you start, you have to carry on buying it every year. When I was younger I would pick at the petals and be scolded by my father!" Conversely, Charmaine does not buy blossom. As for romance, she says: "If I meet it, I will date, but I haven't met anyone yet." She also admits that she did think about marriage five or six years ago.

Raymond Lam & Kevin Cheng Return from Overseas Travels
With several days of filming break due to the New Year holiday, Raymond Lam Fung flew to Xiamen to visit his family and relatives. Yesterday, he came back to Hong Kong. "Since there was no work scheduled over the New Year, I flew home to Xiamen. I had New Year's Eve dinner with my family and gave out red envelopes!"

Why did Raymond distribute lucky packets if he is still single? "Since I am the eldest son and I am working now, I should give out red envelopes. I gave out much more than I received!"

Did Raymond's family push him to get married soon? "Yes every year, the topic comes up! But I think my younger brother and sister will get married before I will!"

"This year, I have been too busy. But I especially turned down offers for work over the holiday so that I would have time to go back to Xiamen." Each year, Raymond would go to Xiamen twice in a year, to visit his wheel-chair bound grandmother. Many of Raymond's relatives were home this year and during the dinner gathering, they took up 2 large tables!

Over the holiday, Kevin Cheng Ka Wing was a performing guest at music instructor, Lau Ka Cheung's, concert in Las Vegas, USA. Since Jacky Cheung Hok Yau also held his concert in Las Vegas at the same time, Kevin took the opportunity to attend Jacky's concert, as Jacky is one of his favorite singers.

Kevin arrived at the Hong Kong airport last night and there were two fans waiting for his arrival. Despite being tired from the long flight, Kevin did not forget to wish reporters a Happy New Year!

Mark Lui Chung Tak and his fiance were also spotted at the airport returning from their overseas travels. When they spotted reporters, Mark appeared annoyed and his fiance kept her head bent to avoid the cameras.

Kevin Cheng Spotted Entering Niki Chow's Home at Midnight
In a recent edition of "East Magazine," photographs were published showing Kevin Cheng Ka Wing entering Niki Chow's apartment building past the midnight hours.

"East Magazine" reported that after Kevin and Niki finished filming "The Seventh Day" 《最美麗的第七天》, they did not have a chance to frequently see each other. Since collaborating on "Hard Fate" in 2003, Kevin and Niki have been linked romantically. However they both denied the rumors.

Since Kevin won the Best Actor Award at TVB's 39th Anniversary, both he and Niki have tried to maintain low profiles. However, Kevin's car was spotted entering Niki's apartment building earlier in the month.

Allegedly, Niki's sister, Cathy Chow, who had lived with Niki, moved out with her French boyfriend, to give Niki more privacy when Kevin visits. Although Niki did not have a driver's license, she retained her parking space, allowing Kevin to easily enter and park inside the building.

A resident at Niki's building also commented, "I have spotted Kevin Cheng entering the building several times after midnight. He wore a cap and went up to the 27th floor. Everyone knows that he was visiting Niki Chow!"

Allegedly, Kevin normally visited Niki's apartment 3 nights in a week, each time entering the building after midnight hours. Reportedly Kevin would stay through the early morning and leave at the same time students go to school and people commute to work. Throughout the whole process, Kevin would keep a reticent profile.

On February 24th, reporters interviewed Kevin at the airport, when he was leaving Hong Kong.

Confronted with questions about "East Magazine's" latest article claiming that he frequented Niki's apartment late at night, he smiled painfully and said, "Thank you! Gung Hei Fat Choy! Happy New Year!" Then he turned and left.

Gigi at 'Life Art' Promotion - Kevin Just Smiles Off Rumours
TVB's new series "Life Art" will begin airing on Monday and cast members including Gigi Lai, Kevin Cheng, Yvonne Lam, Rabee'a Yeung and 'young Gigi' Cathy Yuen attended a restaurant in Wanchai yesterday for a 'D.I.Y Lifestyle' Promotion. At the event, the men and women split into two teams in a competition to make coffee and afternoon tea. As she leant over, Rabee'a was in danger of revealing herself, but fortunately the girls won, so it was all worthwhile.

As the weather was rather cold yesterday, Gigi seemed rather goosepimply in her denim shorts and was holding onto Yvonne who wore a coat. Gigi smiled: "I am very afraid of the cold and even if I wear a big coat or hug onto her it doesn't help. I am a hot-blooded animal. (Do you have goose pimples?) Fortunately I am getting used to it now and am not feeling too cold."

Gigi also says that her previous few series were quite heavy, so this one was a light relief for her, with a strong Japanese series feel. She smiles: "This time, I play a modern day Siu Lung Nui as she is always wearing white clothes and there are blue skies and white clouds, with a feeling of freshness, so it will give everyone a new sensation. I am very confident of the ratings." Her character has a disability in her right arm and as she could not move her right arm during filming, she found it hard to detach herself from the character and even now, she is always holding onto her arm. She says: "Maybe it is in my brain now, so I am always depending on my left hand and I am losing control of my right arm. As a result, my left arm is more articulate now, so I have become smarter."

After the new year break, Kevin was revealed to have visited rumoured girlfriend Niki Chow's home late at night, so yesterday he was asked if he had spent the lantern festival with her. He smiles: "I am not saying! (Have you both agreed on what you will say?) There is no point in saying too much, we just say the same thing all the time. (This is good news, everyone is happy for you!) Marriage and childbirth is good news, when that happens, I will tell you. (Dating is not good news?) I will not reveal it whether I am dating or not. This is a very personal affair and I thank everyone for your concern."

Asked whether Niki's sister has moved out of their home now to allow him to use her parking space, Kevin still refused to answer. So has he been very happy lately? He smiles: "I have always been around the same." Will he be less cautious in the future and continue to visit Niki's home at night? He smiled and stayed silent. So what is his current relationship with Niki? He asks for mercy as he says: "There is nothing I can say, please don't crowd me!"

Returning to the subject of his series, is he confident of the ratings? He says: "I will be calm about it. Ratings are not controlled by the actors, the most important thing is that I have done my part and I enjoyed the process of filming. In truth, not every artist and every series gets high ratings."

TVB Ladies Compete at New Series Press Conference
TVB will be releasing three new prime time series on Monday, that are the new sitcom "Collegue Relationships", "War and Destiny" and "Life Art". A press conference was held yesterday to promote the three shows and most of the cast members were present at the grand affair. As female lead from "War" Myolie Wu was absent, the focus was placed on Gigi Lai and Esther Kwan. Gigi wore plenty of designer gear and her close fitting blouse stole the limelight from the 'housewifey' Esther.

Artistes present at yesterday's event included Esther, Alvina Kong and Elaine Jin from "Colleague", Sunny Chan and Ron Ng from "War" and Kevin Cheng, Gigi and Ben Wong from "Life". The turnout for "War" was a little disappointing as both female leads Myolie and Leila Tong were not able to attend. As yesterday was also International Women's Day, some of the male artistes presented the ladies with flowers. Kevin and Gigi were particularly active and Kevin even complied with the reporters requests as he kissed Gigi three times on the forehead.

Gigi was wearing some new designs from designer label Celine, with a white blouse over a bright red skirt. Gigi also wore a Cartier watch, showing off her gear. She indicated that her outfit was sponsored and she says that each time she takes part in an event, she will receive clothing sponsorships and this saves her a lot of money. She has sponsors for her hair and her household items, so she is just looking for an lingerie sponsor now. When the reporters suggest that she will increase the value of any lingerie that she wears, she laughs: "Don't be so disgusting!". She says that maybe she does not have sponsors because they don't know her measurements. As for ratings, Gigi is not too nervous because she has done her best and she thinks the producer will be more nervous about this.


With all three shows being promoted together, does Esther feel the pressure? She says that she is well accustomed to this industry, so she is not too concerned. However, her husband Nick Cheung laughs that she spoke in her sleep earlier saying: "Is that okay?". She smiles that she does not usually speak in her sleep and the last time was just after she had her daughter, when she was laughing out loud, so maybe she is not showing her nerves, but on the inside she is still quite worried. She says she is most worried about the reaction from the audience to her performance. She also wants to know if her appearance has changed after having her baby.

Asked if she has been dressing up intentionally, Esther says she has not and she is just wearing the costume from the company and she has done her hair herself. Only her trousers are her own because she just wants to be comfortable. When the reporters mentioned that many of the ladies show their own accessories off for promotions, Esther says she does not have any items of her own. Asked if she has now changed her mindset into a new transition, she says: "Don't put it like that, maybe I am more casual or maybe I am more housewifey, but after having my daughter I have not really dressed up much."

Kevin has been linked with Niki Chow as being the top TV couple, so is he worried that the audience will find it hard to accept him with Gigi in his new series, Kevin says that for an onscreen couple to be popular, then they cannot be paired up forever. As an artiste, then you have to try many different combinations, otherwise the audience will get bored. After appearing with Niki in "Under the Canopy of Love", he has been paired with Nnadia Chan in "Trimming Success" and there were no problems then. This is all down to the taste of the viewers and is beyond his control, so he can only do his best.

Kevin has been rehearsing recently for the forthcoming Pok Oi Charity Show, where he will be doing a song and dance routine with Kate Tsui. Asked if he is afraid of being accused of taking advantage of her, Kevin says that when you dance, there is already a lot to think about and he will not take any notice of where his hands land. If he makes a mistake, then there will not be a problem. He sasy that after this dance routine, it has roused his interest in the stage again.

With Ron representing "War and Destiny" yesterday, does he feel they are losing out without their two female leads? He smiles: "There is nothing we can do, we will lose out a little." With this series having been filmed over a year ago, the series was not aired because of concerns over the sensitivity of the historical background, but when the producer found out that it is the 70th Anniversary of the Rape of Nanjing this year, then he felt it is the right time to air the show. Ron says that he also has a series "Guts of Man" that is yet to air, so he hopes it will be aired soon.

Asked if he has been to support Charmaine Sheh by watching her new movie "Lady Iron Chef", Ron smiles: "Well that will depend if she gives me any tickets! (Buy them yourself!) I don't mind, I will buy it myself then." As for the attendance at the premiere earlier by Virginia Lok and some of his TVB colleagues, he says that he did hear about it and was invited to go along if he was free, but unfortunately he was working that night. As for Charmaine's comments that if he appeared the focus would be moved towards their rumours, Ron says that every artiste wants the focus to be on their work and of course they don't want people to just talk about their gossip.

Kevin and Aimee Rehearse Musical for Pok Oi Show
Aimee Chan, Kevin Cheng, Kenny Bee, Nancy Sit and Kate Tsui were rehearsing yesterday for tonights Pok Oi Charity Show as they will be performing together in a musical song and dance act. As this year's Miss Hong Kong winner, Aimee is usually full of poise and elegance, but this time she will be playing a rather ditzy character, with some very exaggerated actions, such as grabbing hold of Kevin's arm but she is pushed away by him.

Aimee indicates that when she was at school, she has appeared in drama productions, but this is her first time performing on such a scale. She smiles that her character is very crazy, exaggerated and funny and this is a great challenge and opportunity for her to learn a lot of things. The reporters say that her voice is too high pitched and she smiles that she is worried that the audience will not hear her. In order to perfect her performance, she has been practising her expressions in front of the mirror and has asked for help from her friends to help her rehearse.

Asked if this is the first time she has been pushed away so cruelly by a man, Aimee smiles: "Let me think! It should be the first time. (Do you push people away more?) No, I won't."

After winning the "Best Actor" award, Kevin's workload has increased significantly as has his income. Recently, he has been spotted wearing many different designer watches, each one worth several tens of thousands of dollars and he has been pointed out as being extravagant. Kevin responds to this saying: "I have heard about this from my friends, but I have not seen the report."

Kevin indicates that this is just his own interest, like some people like to buy cars or apartments, he just likes to buy watches. He says that he sees it as an investment because some are limited editions, so they will keep their value and may even make a profit over time. He sas that he is buying the watches with money he has made himself and he feels there is no problem with this. Asked how many he has in his collection, he says: "I only have a few, the most expensive is a few tens of thousands of dollars. Everyone has their own interests and there is a lot of background behind collecting watches and I only know a little." Asked if he has made any money from his watches, Kevin laughs that he has not needed to sell his watches and he loves every one of them.

Kate and Fala Fight for the Limelight at Charity Show
Kevin Cheng, Kate Tsui, Fala Chen, Kelly Chen, Harlem Yu, Nancy Sit, Kenny Bee, Jade Kwan, Kenny Kwan and Vincy were all guests on the Pok Oi Charity show this year. Fala and Kate wore sexy dance outfits as they performed in a musical drama with Kevin and dancing teacher Chow Chi Kwan. In this act, Fala wore an outfit that accentuated her breasts as she caught everyone's attention.

Regarding this, Fala indicates that she did not try it on before and she did not realise how sexy the outfit looked. Asked if she has added pads, she syas: "I have not supported my bust, it is just an effect from the dress design."

Whilst Kate was performing with teacher Chow, he slipped up on some of the confetti on the floor and tripped together with Kate, who revealed her bra pad in the process. Kate comforted Chow, saying that she knew it was a mistake and they have done their best. As for revealing her pad, she says: "I have followed the precautions and I am not afraid of revealing myself."

Dancing with Fala and Kate who both have strong dance backgrounds, Kevin does not feel that he will be compared to them and he feels that it is even better with them in the act, because it has raised his own interest in dancing and if he has time, then he will try to upgrade himself even more by learning to dance.

Gigi Receives Gifts and Flowers from Rich Fan worth a six figure sum
Kevin Cheng, Gigi Lai, Queenie Chu and Matthew Ko were among the cast members at a promotion in a shopping mall for the new series "Life Art" that will be airing tonight. The cast did some flower arranging, calligraphy and painting before handing out some red roses to the audience. As Kevin approached the crowd to hand out his flowers, some of the people put their hands out to grab the flowers and some even grabbed him as he cried out: "I'm being mugged!"

There will be three series starting to be aired this evening and Kevin was asked whether he is worried about ratings. He says in a relaxed manner: "This is a comedy, so I am quite relaxed and ratings don't matter. The audience's tastes are hard to predict. (But you are the ratings lucky star?) Don't say that, we still don't know. Everyone has given their efforts and hard work." As for his regular promotional events with Gigi for this show, is he worried about developing rumours? He says firmly: "We have already worked together twice, so there shouldn't be any. (If you could choose between Gigi and Niki [Chow] who would you rather have rumours with?) It's not up to me to choose! (Who are you more comfortable with?) I can't say who I am more comfortable with, these things happen all the time and can't be helped. Maybe because I work so much with Niki, so we have more rumours."

As for Niki appearing hesitant whilst responding to recent rumours, making people suspect that there is something going on between them, Kevin says that he is also not someone who is confident in answering questions and he will also stutter sometimes. He says once again: "I don't want to talk about rumours because they are just the same nonsense over and over again and it is very tiresome. (If you admit it, then it will be okay?) I will not destroy what I have achieved in ten years, in the past I have not spoken about my dates and I will not speak about them now. (Are you worried that if you reveal your relationship then things will go wrong?) I just don't want any unnecessary pressure. If I get married in the future, I will reveal it, but I have no plans to marry for now."

Gigi was presented with some gifts earlier from a middle-aged fan, including a lucky packet, a necklace and her family heirloom jade. Yesterday, the fan was there once again to support her and she presented Gigi with a big bunch of purple roses and a lucky packet, with the flowers matching Gigi's outfit exactly.

As this fan is extremely generous, there are guesses that she is very rich and there have been suggestions that this rich lady likes Gigi because she is also a rich lady herself, but Gigi shakes her head and says: "It is not related, I am still working hard. (There were reports of you buying jewellery for yourself as a reward?) That is an investment, usually I will not wear it out as I am waiting for the value to increase." Gigi also says that she has saved up all the gifts from this lady and just in lucky packets, she has received a five figure sum, together with the other gifts, the total is a six figure sum. She plans to donate all her gifts and toys to charity after she retires from the industry and she urges her fans not to spend so much money on her.

Asked about the ratings for the series, what will she do to thank the audience if the ratings are good? Gigi says: "I think wearing a bikini is old hat now, so a draw for a delicacy banquet or cash would be better because people will be happier. (How much cash?) At least $3000 if it goes above 30 points and for each extra point to put it up by $1000. (Will you pay for it yourself?) If Mr Cheng [Kevin] doesn't want to join in, then I don't mind paying myself. The banquet will be paid for by the producer and the company." Asked if she is against wearing bikinis, she laughs: "I am no longer a young girl now, so I don't want to do so much. Being practical is better."

No Post-Gossip Awkwardness for Kevin and Niki
Rumoured couple Kevin Cheng and Niki Chow joined Gigi Wong at the "Smokeless Cooking Final" event yesterday. After smoking for ten years, Kevin finally gave up smoking in 2002. Kevin says that at the time, he was sufferng from high blood pressure and had to go to hospital for treatment. As smoking had hardened his arteries, he decided to give up for the sake of his health. He feels that the process of quitting was not too hard, but you cannot rush it and you must have a lot of willpower and determination. For him to succeed, he felt that he had to have good health in order to work hard and after giving up, he was able to breathe a breath of fresh air again and he would not be so out of breath when he was exercising. He became a smoker then because of his family influence and watching his father smoking seemed stylish, so he adopted an incorrect role model. When he chooses a girlfriend now, the first criteria is that she must not smoke.

Kevin's mother is an expert in making Shanghai food, so has Niki ever tried this? He says: "I have been very busy lately and even I have not had a chance to have my mother's cooking." Niki says that her boyfriend must be a non-smoker and like Shanghai food, so does this mean they are very compatible? Kevin says: "In this world there are many people who don't smoke and are from Shanghai. (Why are you distancing yourself from her?) Not distancing, I am not afraid of her! We have worked together in three series now and she is a very good co-star."

Niki does not smoke and she does not want a boyfriend who smokes. "It is bad for your health and he would smell of smoke." Since being caught with Kevin visiting her home, this was the first time they have appeared together and asked if there was any awkwardness, she says: "What do you mean 'caught out'? We will not be embarrassed, it is just wokr. (Have you tasted Kevin's mother's cooking?) I will not answer that."

Kevin Cheng, Linda Chung, & Angela Tong Meet with Fans in Singapore
Earlier Kevin Cheng, Linda Chung Ka Yan and Angela Tong Ying Ying were in Singapore promoting their TVB series. Meeting with fans and sending Lunar New Year greetings, Kevin, Linda, and Angela played games, gave out prizes, and sang songs for the audience.

Kevin, Linda, and Angela's recent series have achieved international popularity and many fans arrived to support the artists. When Kevin, Linda, and Angela made their grand entrance, fans yelled out excitedly and cameras went off continuously.

Angela's character, Lee Siu Ho, in "Life Made Simple" was a big hit among audiences. Revealing her true beautiful face before fans and performing Twin's song, 《下一站天后》, Angela received a large round of applause.

Linda's "Always Ready" was currently being broadcast in Singapore. Since receiving the Most Improved Actress Award at TVB's 39th Anniversary, Linda performance in "Always Ready" was watched closely by many. In April, Linda's "Biter Bitten" and "Forensic Heroes" will both be aired. Linda sang 《难得有情人》at the promotion.

Kevin's "Under the Canopy of Love" was being aired in Singapore, with his charming image in the series attracting numerous fans. "Trimming Success" will be airing in Singapore in April as well. Since Kevin entered the industry as a singer first, his skills were displayed when he sang new song,《无可奈何》.

Fans also noticed that Kevin's right arm was in a cast, as he had an earlier accident. To not disappoint fans, Kevin still took the trip to Singapore. Fans immediately noticed his injury and inquired about his well-being.

During the game segment, many fans were busy clamoring for photos with the artists and forgot to play the games they were invited onstage for! Kevin, Linda, and Angela's 2 day trip in Singapore concluded with the warmth and support shown by their fans.
