Kevin Cheng Inadvertantly Admits Romance with Niki Chow
Rumoured couple Kevin Cheng and Niki Chow have always denied their relationship to the press, but in an impulsive mistake yesterday, Kevin revealed his true feelings as he indicated that Niki is his girlfriend!

Kevin Cheng "Becoming TVB's #1 Brother is Not Enough!"
There have been several important women in Kevin Cheng Ka Wing's life. Aside from his mother, female benefactors such as TVB's Catherine Tsang, Amy Wong, and Virginia Lok Yi Ling have all assisted Kevin throughout various stages in his career.

Before signing with TVB, Kevin had a slumping music career in Taiwan for 5 years. In 2001, Kevin signed with TVB under Catherine Tsang's invitation. Amy Wong was the first producer to cast him in TVB series, "Burning Flame 2." Catherine Tsang then featured Kevin in "Loving You," allowing him to play 10 different characters. Catherine had noted that the series was to test Kevin; luckily he passed.

Another important benefactor was Virginia Lok, who signed Kevin as a TVB managed artist. Broadening his opportunities beyond television as well, Kevin recently filmed movies and staged concert appearances.

Everyone should watch tvb series Life Art, I personally love this series, is light and enjoyable and is show what is life all about. And Kevin fan will love his character Ryan. He is the ideal boyfriend (in my opinion), very smart, determine, caring and he know how to make a girl feel like a woman. But most important is, this one quality series.

Kevin Cheng Feed Fans Cake in NZ

Kevin Cheng, Bernice Liu and Shirley Yeung earlier flew to New Zealand to attend the '2007 New Zealand Chinese New Talent Singing Competition' as guest performers. Kevin Cheng was spotted on his own at a tennis court earlier, not wearing a t-shirt. However, as soon as he spotted the reporters, he pulled it back on quickly.

Kevin Cheng is Tied Down to TVB by his Contract
Kevin Cheng and Linda Chung were guests at the opening of an optical shop yesterday and also in attendance was supermodel Xiong Dailin. Kevin reveals that in his new series in june, he will have to cut his hair to play a prisoner and he will be working with Roger Kwok and Yoyo Mung. Kevin says that that he has been watching "Prison Break" to research his character in the show. As for cutting his hair, he says that he does not mind because seven years ago he shaved off all his hair for a Qing costume drama in Taiwan.

As for the reports that ATV are offering huge amounts of money to attract Charmaine Sheh, Kevin says that he has not been the target of the headhunters because he has just renewed his contract with TVB last year and it is quite a lengthy one, but it is not quite as long as Bosco Wong, who has been rumoured to have signed until 2017. Asked if she is worried that playing this role will hurt her image, she believes that the viewers will be clear on this and will not mind her playing villains or bad girls.

Kevin Cheng joined 100 mother fans to make a special 'love heart cake' in a very heartwarming event for Mothers Day. Bosco and Kevin in Thailand
Bosco Wong and Kevin Cheng were in Thailand earlier promoting "Devil's Disciple" and recording the series theme song in Thai. On the five day trip, they had to be interviewed by the press, magazines, TV stations and radio stations and after lack of rest, Bosco fell ill. He says: "It was Michael Miu who passed me the germs because he was over there filming for the movie 'Brothers'. Meeting him out there, then of course we went for a meal, but he was ill and after the meal, I had a sore throat the following day and I was in so much pain I had to take some painkillers. They did not work though, so I went to see the doctor immediately after returning to Hong Kong."

Bosco was well prepared for singing the theme song with Kevin and Thai singer James. He says: "When I received the demo to the song, I had to work hard to learn all the lyrics, using Chinese, English and Japanese phonetics. Although it was hard work, but it was worth it because I have a Thai song now. (Did the producer accept it?) The producer was a Thai person and we recorded it line by line, so they had to correct us word by word, but they were very patient and although we had to record the phrase again if we made a mistake, it was good fun and certainly an experience."

Although this trip was very packed, Bosco and Kevin still took a little time out to go shopping and sunbathing. However, the weather there was very unstable and kept changing between rain and sun, so when they wanted to go sunbathing, as soon as they had taken their clothes off, the sky had clouded over. Bosco laughs: "I don't know if Uncle Sunshine was avoiding us! Haha!"

Myolie Wu & Kevin Cheng's Gains from Charity Tour
Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu joined the 'Lifeline Express' hospital train on a visit to Huaihua City in China's Hunan Province to see their progress on offering cataracts surgery to those in need. At a press conference yesterday, they were nominated as "Lifeline Express Stars of Light" and talked about their experiences from their earlier trip. Myolie praised Kevin for being very gracious, often getting food for the ladies around him.

Myolie has been a part of the Lifeline Express support since she entered Miss Hong Kong in 2000 and during this trip, she understood the importance of your eyesight and also realised how simple the procedure is to reverse the eye condition. She says that when she visited some families, she wanted to cry, but she did not want to dampen the atmosphere, so she had to hold back her tears. The reason for this was because it was not just the parents who were suffering from cataracts, but it had been passed onto the children too and it was a great blow to the family.

This is the first time that Myolie has worked with Kevin and she found after the trip that he is not as cool or quiet as he seems. In fact he is very assertive and is very gallant, looking after the ladies around him. She laughs that Kevin even held some of the children there and he really is amazing! Myolie says that she has been taking part in a lot of charity events lately and asked if she would like to be nominated for an 'Outstanding Youth' award, she says: "I have not done enough, I have to do a lot more. Also you cannot use this as a reason to do charity work. To have the chance to go somewhere far away from the hustle and bustle, it was actually very relaxing."

Kevin also feels he has gained a lot from this trip: "This year we went to a more rural place and I really saw what is literally a home with four walls and not much else. In one family, before they had the operation, they could only 'listen' to books, but now they can actually read for themselves. I feel that I am very fortunate and have learned to be thankful and be happy for what I have. This has been a very valuable experience."

New Series "Walking with the Enemy" Costume Fitting
TVB's new series "Walking with the Enemy" held its costume fitting yesterday attended by cast members including Roger Kwok, Kevin Cheng, Yoyo Mung, Kiki Sheung and Yu Mo Lin. Yoyo was absent from some of the promotional events for "Heart of Greed" earlier and there were suggestions that this was because she did not like her 'third party' character in the show. She denies this and she says that she was arranged to go abroad for a promotional trip with Raymond Lam at the time. With other rumours that she was too busy dating to film properly, leading to scenes being deleted, she explains that she knew about the character before and the producer had asked her about it. If she was unhappy then she would not have agreed to the part. After this, she added: "When the show was filming, I was not dating yet." As she said this, she realised she had said too much and became a little embarrassed. She also laughs that when she was filming with Raymond, they jokingly referred to each other as the 'cheating couple' and she is fortunate in that she has not been scolded after the show was aired.

In the new series, Kevin plays a man who has been in prison for ten years, so he has a scar above his right eye. When the reporters mentioned that he has finally lost Niki Chow in this series and can work with other women, he smiles that this is the third time he has worked with Yoyo. As for Yoyo's comments about her romance, Kevin smilingly asked what she said to avoid saying something he shouldn't.

Kiki was asked about the good results of her recent series "The Family Link" and she smiles that she is really very happy and she may take everyone out for abalone later. As for the suggestion that the finale is very similar to a Western Movie, she says she does not know and even if it is copied, then it does not matter because it will have been performed in a different way by different people. Yu Mo Lin was very unhappy yesterday, because her 66-year old sister was involved in a car accident earlier and is in a coma. The doctor had told her that she will never wake up and they cannot save her. She says her sister had to have four big operations in three days and after an operation on her brain, her head swelled up to the size of a watermelon. She says that her sister was very unlucky and she is worried about her brother-in-law because he will become a lonely man.

After rumours that she has been frozen by her record company for dating, Niki Chow appeared at a promotional event with rumoured boyfriend Kevin Cheng yesterday, showing off their compatibility and young love as she played about with her beau.

Niki wore a baby pink dress at the event and as Kevin did not know how to put on his facial mask, Niki immediately offered a helping hand. During their photos, the reporters asked Niki to step forward, but Kevin said tactlessly: "Girls only do that because it makes them look slimmer!" This embarrassed Niki somewhat and she pulled a playful cutie 'unhappy face' at Kevin.

Kevin Cheng, Roger Kwok, & Yoyo Mung in "Walking with the Enemy"
The praying ceremony for "Walking with the Enemy" 《與敵同行》was held yesterday, with cast members, Kevin Cheng Ka Wing, Roger Kwok, Yoyo Mung Ka Wai etc. present.

After receiving acupuncture, Kiki's spinal injury was recovering nicely. She did not blame Kevin, as he did not push her too hard. Rather, she was not careful when she fell to the ground, thus injuring her spine.

Roger filmed a scene in the rain yesterday. Fortunately he did not fall sick. Earlier, He filmed a kissing scene with Yoyo. Were their respective significant others jealous? Roger laughed, "Nope I didn't have any problems!"

Did Yoyo borrow tips from Roger on how to plan a secret wedding without the paparazzi's knowledge? Roger laughed, "Nope. "Devil's Disciple" Stars to Wear Borat's Swimsuit???
TVB series "Devil's Disciple" held a promotional event yesterday at Olympian City, attended by many of the cast members, including Kevin Cheng, Bosco Wong, Shirley Yeung, Bernice Liu and Sharon Chan, attracting nearly 500 people to watch them. During the event, they did pull-ups on a bar as well as standing on eggs. Shirley did surprisingly well, even beating some of the men.

When Bosco and Kevin battled on the horizontal bar, they held on for dear life, but Bosco succumbed to having the feather duster on his back and failed. For the turn of the ladies, Shirley bundled onto the frame like a monkey and jumped off equally easily, whereas Sharon had to seek help from the men to support her. Sharon did not do too well with the eggs either, breaking a few and leaving her with sticky feet.

The girls then pledged to wear bikinis if the show's ratings reached 38 points, except for Bernice who has contractual agreements with her slimming company. "There is nothing new in me wearing a bikini and my agreement with the sponsor is I cannot do it. However, it would be good if Kevin and Bosco could wear the little triangular swimsuits like Borat. If they will do it, I will fly to London to buy them some!"

When Kevin realised what Bernice meant by 'Borat' trunks, he said: "If she really does fly to London to buy them, then I will wear them, but only at home, I have to keep some mystery for my other half! I am quite conservative and don't even own any T-backs [G-strings]. They are very uncomfortable, but okay for a bit of fun. Of course, I will only share this fun with my most intimate other half and not them!" Bosco suggests that he and Kevin should wear bikinis and the ladies can all wear T-backs. Kevin Cheng & Roger Kwok Filming "Walking with the Enemy"
Kevin Cheng Ka Wing and Roger Kwok Chun On were filming "Walking with the Enemy" 《與敵同行》on a 13-story building roof top. In the series, both Kevin and Roger have hidden agendas, as Andy Lau and Tony Leung possessed in "Infernal Affairs."

After leaving prison, Kevin's character wanted to seek revenge on Roger. Testing Roger's intentions, Kevin pretended to jump off the building roof top. Kevin dangerously sat on the ledge of the roof, which did not have a rail around it. Despite the presence of the stunt team and safety wires, Kevin was very nervous during filming.

Under the high temperatures, the sun melted the asphalt. Kevin and Roger's shoes tracked in the asphalt.

Kevin said, "I was not afraid while sitting on the ledge of the rooftop. There were safety wires and I do not have acrophobia. Sitting there for a short time was fine."

Kevin's courage stemmed from filming《越野狂奔》in Australia last year. "In the past, I didn't film a lot of height scenes. That time, I had a parachute scene and I also had rush down a vertical cliff, which was a dozen feet high. I realized I can handle these scenes." Ron Ng Cheuk Hei, Kevin Cheng Ka Wing, and Raymond Lam Fung will be taking their exciting first step in the Japanese market! The trio will be performing at Tokyo Dome in the "Face in Japan" concert, along Korean superstars such as Dong Bang Shin Ki (aka DBSG), Se7en, etc.

On Monday morning at 8 AM, Ron, Kevin, Raymond, and TVB executive, Virginia Lok Yi Ling flew to Tokyo. Over 30 fans were at the airport to say goodbye to their idols. Raymond's fans even bought plane tickets to Tokyo so they can support him in the concert!

Kevin Cheng Spends Birthday Performing in Japan
Kevin Cheng Ka Wing performed alongside Ron Ng Cheuk Hei and Raymond Lam Fung at the Tokyo Dome "Face in Japan" concert. The concert also featured Korean boy band, Dong Bang Shin Ki (aka DBSG), Se7en, etc. While in Japan, Kevin was also chased for a kiss by a "sexily-clad woman," resulting in much humor!

Kevin, Ron, and Raymond were special guests and performed in the opening sequence at the concert. They did a catwalk with a dozen models, showcasing a Korean designer's clothes. Kevin, Ron, and Raymond sang separately and then performed a group rendition of Leslie Cheung's "Monica," which was well-known by Japanese audiences.

Although the trio did not have time to practice before the show, fortunately, their performance was successful. The Japanese audience cheered loudly; the reaction was very positive!

Kevin's birthday was August 15th, which was the same day of the concert performance. TVB executive, Virginia Lok Yi Ling prepared a special surprise for Kevin the night before. At 12 midnight, Virginia asked Taiwanese artist, Jin Gang, to dress in drag and kiss Kevin. Jin raised his dress to seduce the scared Kevin.

Kevin laughed, "I was surprised to receive such an invaluable gift from TVB! Jin Gang was pretty in drag, but he had too much body hair! In the past, my birthdays were often spent working. Since I performed at the Toyko Dome for this year's birthday, it was especially memorable."

I disagree that his singing in "life art" was teribble.I think he did a great jod in singing and so was the series interesting.It teaches more oaout chinese calligraphy.Plus,he sang this song and people think that it was terrible,then theyreally don't know what singing is.

Kevin Cheng replaces Moses Chan for Anniversary Month

Every year TVB produces an annual calendar, indicating which artists would TVB promote in the following year. Normally, artists that appear on the calendar are either TVB’s #1 brothers and sisters or artists that are well received by the public. This year TVB will feature over 60 artists in their 2008 calendar, along with only 4 of the months will have location scenery of Taiwan as a background.

Supposedly, on September 9th, Kevin Cheng was to have his calendar photo shoot along with Kate Tsui, Sarah Song, etc. at a Taiwan location scene. However when Kevin found out that he was to pair with Kate, etc. and his calendar month was May (nothing special in May), his face immediately darken and requested to be switched! Originally, scheduled on 10th of September for the November month photo shoot was Charmaine Sheh, Jessica Hsuan, Roger Kwok, and Moses Chan, but due to Moses’ “sudden” flight cancellation, Kevin filled in the vacant spot.

From what was learn, Kevin was unhappy with the pairings TVB made, indicating Kate’s not qualify enough to place along side him. Kevin expressed his dissatisfactions to the executives and at the end, got his way, as Moses is out and he was in.

I like Kevin as a singer and an actor. The good thing about him is you barely hear anything about him like he's a good boy you never hear the news about spottin him in a strip club etc. he's really cute and the shockin thing about Kevin is that he's 38 and he doesn't even look like it at all. he looks 25 and he has an excellent body too!!

With the upcoming TVB anniversary in November, rumors claim that TVB management was split into 2 factions: with Stephen Chan Chi Wan leading one group while Virginia Lok and Catherine Tsang heading the other group.
