Oh no.. and the drama was just started to pick up imho.... they can't continue with out chris/jaeho (main actor) and they can't replace him.. oh NO
wow. it's 50-50. im leaning towards yes for some reason, since she was sick as a child, but she has been pretty strong and stable so far into the drama...
Hmm........ to be honest I do think Eun-Young may die and knowing the tragedies in the past Endless Love series, its a definite possibility! 
Didn't the PD said that no one will die in this installment? I hope EY doesn't die.

What do you mean by this ? Seriously i'm starting to like this drame after 5 dragging episode about thier childhood. Is the one who plays Jeaho going somewhere before complete the drama ????
Daniel Henney, playing Philip, accidentally broke SDY's cheekbone (playing Chris/Jaeha) while filming a punch scene in episode 12. He had surgery today and according to the reports, it was a success and he should return to work next week.
i seriously hope NO 1 will die. PLZ! i want all te characters 2 hab a happy ending. Jae Ha n Eun Young will end up happily. 
So eps 13 & 14 will not be aired as planned tis wk since Suh Do Young is still recovering frm surgery ~~ but on Tuesday at same timeslot , KBS channel will air a special Spring Waltz ep , I think shd be Behind The Scenes ~~

NO ONE will die. During an interview with the PD, he said that no one will die becaus he didn't want to make another drama reproduction he already did (like Autumn Story). He said that he put a lot of effort into this to make it not so cliche like most Korean dramas are. So, don't worry.
Also most of the rumors you hear that might happen will most likely not be true.

SH asked a nurse abt the cost of the surgery EY must undergo , of cus it must be very expensive , so he went to steal a woman's bag but got caught , JH's dad saved him frm being reported to police , n later gave him a treat & asked him whether he can go wif him & his wife back to Canada , pretend to be Jaeha till his wife's condition stabilises , of cus SH don't wanna leave EY , so he never agree but as JH's dad can afford to help pay for EY's surgery , in the end he agreed ~~ he was reluctant to leave the next day , so he ran out of the car to EY's ward but EY wasn't there since she was in op theater , i think JH's dad told him tht she didn't survive the op , so wif a heavy heart , JH left wif them . so frm then on , SH becomes JH .

The above is close.. but I will fill in some blanks... with the flashback that Lee Na has about Jae Ha with the wedding scene was before the TRUE Jae Ha died (I believe the true Jae Ha died as there was a scene about Lee Na and Jae Ha meeting up with some friends from school and the friends thought he was dead from hearing a rumor). Now how did the FAKE Jae ha know about Lee Na and acted like he recognized her? (I think this is one part where some people were confused). This is how it went... At Austria Phillip picked up Lee Na at the airport. He got a phone call and left Lee Na to talk to Jae Ha. Later Lee Na was talking with the FAKE Jae Ha out on the balcony drinking tea/coffee. Now during this scene, she was asking him whether or not he has ever thought about going back to Korea (it has been close to 15 years that he went back). He said no. She asks about him thinking about going back to Korea not just for her benefit but also to make a cd album since she owns a record company. If I remember correctly, she also asks/hints if he misses/wants to see someone at Korea (which is supposed to be her.. but of course he doesn't know cuz he's confused on who she exactly is and thinks of Eun Young instead). He says no. Of course Lee Na gets frustrated of him not recognzing her and she confesses that she came to Austria for him and tells him about the promise about them getting married and stuff (from the wedding scene). He is still confused (of course because he's not the REAL Jae Ha) and when Phillip comes back from a phone conversation, he says Lee Na's name and then the FAKE Jae Ha acts like he knows her by saying her name.
This might be a lil confusing... but you might have to re-read it through and watch the episode (i think it's episode 3, if I remember correctly.. not sure).
Also there is another part... the day when the SuHo left to go to Canada.. he ran back to the hospital. He ran back because he promised the night before to Eun Young that he will be by her side when she goes to surgery. Of course he knew that he was leaving the next day, but he promised. The reason why young Eun Young was hiding behind the bed was because he was asking where SuHo was because of the promise he made to her and she didn't want to go to surgery without SuHo. Later when SuHo went to the Eun Young's hospital room to see Eun Young, she was already at the Surgery room. It was later when he was at Canada that his fake father told him that Eun Young was dead and to forget about her(the scene when young Jae Ha was running out of the house and tripped on the snow on his face).
Also... I saw through the forum and some were asking about what exactly is Eun Young's job for Jae Ha? She is his road manager. She is charge of taking him anywhere he is supposed to go or wants to go. That is why she is driving for him. She also does the cleaning of his practice room too.
Did anyone catch the scene where the young Eun Young told SuHo about when she first met him? She asked if he realized that his name meant 'guardian' and that he would be her guardian angel??

i've only seen the episodes that have subs..i can't wait for the other to come..i just find it amusing how philip speaks in english..and when philip and jaeha speak to each other in this other language..what language is that??..it doesn't seem the character that plays jaeha is full korean..or is he??..did he learn the language for this drama??...i like the cast for this drama..but i don't really like lee-na

the language the Jae Ha and Philip speak in the earlier episodes is German I believe. So Do Young (Jae Ha) did have to learn German as well as Daniel Henney (Philip) for certain scenes in the drama. I think Daniel Henney is half European and half Korean, but I'm not 100% sure.

Philip & JaeHa sometimes speak to each other in German cus pple in Austria speak in the language I believe ~
I think Suh Do Young who plays JaeHa is full Korean ~ both he & Daniel memorised the German script if I'm not wrong , cus Daniel mentioned somewhere tht they both don't understand the language ~

I believe the drama airs twice a week....on a Monday night and Tuesday night....I know for a fact it does air twice a week though. I've only watched up to 14, tonight...they will release chapter 15.

Spring Waltz is finished and now there's nothing to look foward to! This series wasn't too bad at all and I'm pretty happy with the ending (I won't spoil it though )! Spring Waltz is probably my 2nd favourite seasonal drama, Autumn in My Heart being my number one! I can't wait till this series comes out on DVD....I probably gonna buy it! ^__^ As the series progressed, I'm amazed as to how Han Hyo Joo (Eun Young) has improved in her acting skills since the start of the drama. She definitely has the potential to act in future dramas! Suh Do Young was just as great through his portrayl of Jae Ha/Su Ho. Yeah, I can't believe the 4 drama seasons are done!

does anybody know where i can find a summary of episodes of spring waltz? i am so hooked that i am watching it without subs and how i wish i understand what they're talking about. i am suprised this show had a low rating when the story is really good, and all the actors really played their part well.

wow... ABS-CBN got the last installment of the season series??? no doubt that they are better in dubbing, no offense to GMA kapuso fans out there, but all of these series are much to be credited to KBS station rather than the networks who bought them

This is really one boring show! Ok.. scenes in austria was lovely. But I din feel the actors had much chemistry... And it seems odd that daniel would like the main lead actress.... some parts it was like lost in translation! and also the confusing child hood scene... I dont even think the problem of the fake jaeha replacing the real jaeha to be that problematic to his career... after all isnt it his playing skills that matters?

^^too bad you didn't enjoy the show, i thought the story was well written..not unique but every scene is connected to their life story. daniel fell inlove with eun young who thought in the beginning that he was a car driver but he cannot surpass the love that jae ha and eun young have since childhood. i guess the more jae ha longed for eun young made him more miserable of being jae ha and being in korea made him realized all those pains he suffered being su ho but it wasn't easy for him to admit to anybody about his real identity since he did something in the past. i stopped watching on epi 15 because i didn't want to miss out a lot on the dialogues but i ordered it already with english sub so i am excited to see how the story will unravel and i love the chemistry of the two main characters.

After watching a whole lot of K dramas for 2006 apart from Princess Hours non have get me so addicted till Spring Waltz comes along . It's SO much better then Summer Scent and less crying and draggy scenes compare to Winter and Autumn !
I don't know why the lead actress is a breath of fresh air .. she's good . The kids part is not slow to me and in fact it's quite important to know how did they end up separated and why Sun Ho have to give up his identity and live as Jae Ha ... With this storyline it makes the series interesting
The scenery I don't have to mention is fantastic and the Eun Young , Jae Ha , Philip , Li Na makes this Spring Waltz a good drama .
The sound tracks ( surprisingly so many English songs in this series ) suits the show plus Jae Ha is a pianist here ! I love those piano classical tracks

^^wow, you summed it all up for me..that's exactly how i feel about this show. i just got curious about spring waltz since the only actor i know in it is daniel henney from kimsamsoon but i got hooked on the first episode. watching it is like putting a puzzle together and i'm glad that they showed a big part of it when they were kids since it was really important to the story.
i thought all the actors did great on this show, the two kids did a really good job and eun young and sohu/jae hae really looked good together. i hope to see more from them.

Is seem like i coudnt find a thread for Spring Waltz. So i just one the start a thread for the drama. Is season 4 Spring Waltz is the fourth and final installment of Yoon Suk Ho's season drama series. The first drama was Autumn Tale, followed by Winter Sonata and Summer Scent.
Storyline..........
What if you could never forget that one person? The person you shared that spring with? In order to escape debts, Jaeha and his father runaway to the family’s home town, a small island isolated from the rest of the world. While Jaeha’s father goes on a short trip, he leaves his son under a friend’s care. Scared his father would not come back, Jaeha begins collecting money to buy his own boat ticket. However, his plans change after befriending Eunyoung, the father’s friend’s daughter. Eunyoung was born with a sickness and spent most of her childhood at home. She constantly prays to make a friend, and she finds this friendship in Jaeha. However, after a tragic accident, the two are split…only to meet again after 15 years.

Is seem like i coudnt find a thread for Spring Waltz. So i just one the start a thread for the drama. Is season 4 Spring Waltz is the fourth and final installment of Yoon Suk Ho's season drama series. The first drama was Autumn Tale, followed by Winter Sonata and Summer Scent.
Storyline..........
What if you could never forget that one person? The person you shared that spring with? In order to escape debts, Jaeha and his father runaway to the family’s home town, a small island isolated from the rest of the world. While Jaeha’s father goes on a short trip, he leaves his son under a friend’s care. Scared his father would not come back, Jaeha begins collecting money to buy his own boat ticket. However, his plans change after befriending Eunyoung, the father’s friend’s daughter. Eunyoung was born with a sickness and spent most of her childhood at home. She constantly prays to make a friend, and she finds this friendship in Jaeha. However, after a tragic accident, the two are split…only to meet again after 15 years.

How you find the show? I just finished it Yesterday.
Storyline, I quite like it better than the first and third season.
Only the cast do not give me a great impact, so will only watch once.

woah!!! im sooo glad that it will have a good happy ending! i'm at ep.5 ryt now and i'm addicted to it!!! can't remove that song on my head... 'One Love' really love it!!!!!

ahh... this show is reallly something.. i dont know why it wasnt popular in korea, hm weard taste i guess.. i found it super, best one of all the new dramas ive watched so far.. from the 1st to the last episode its really great.. chemistry, and the plot is not so typical, soo i give this show a two thumps up !! its deff. a must watch... AHH I LOVE THIS SHOW!

Well I just watch episode one actually. At first I thought it's really borring but I think it's pretty funny tough. Especially the incidents that happened on the airport hahahaha...the driver lol .

hello...im currently watching this series and im actually loving this compared with the 3rd one..im on the 10th episode and very excited to finish this. Im liking the chemistry of Jaeha/Suho and Eunyoung while Daniel is very good and his korean improved a little... 
so far this is a good drama and the songs are good too...

I'm in the middle of this right now... here are my thoughts so far: I LOVE the main actress. Okay, yeah, she could stand to see some improvement, but she's so incredibly cute. And she doesn't look fake/plastic like some other Korean actresses, 
Anyway, don't really like the lead guy too much. Sometimes, I think he does a good job (his piano scenes, for instance... I've seen a lot of dramas where music scenes are bungled, so this IS impressive), but I just don't feel sorry at all for him most of the time, :x When he's "jealous," I don't even feel it. Plus, I think he's rather weird-looking although-- paradoxically, he does rather look like an eccentric pianist, :x, so I guess he fits the part. Sometimes, when he speaks German, he looks like he doesn't know how to go about it, but what can be expected? I don't really like whoever plays Lee-Na, either; I know we're supposed to feel sorry for her, and I kind of do, but for the most part, she just annoys me, :x And Daniel Henney... half the time, I think he's this incredibly good-looking dream-come-true for her, and I can see the frustration between them. I especially love the ending where they showed photos of marriage. Nice, satisfying ending.
I was just bothered abt the leading lady...her eyes are always swollen, like she's got some kind of allergy. I reckon she's not that great of an actress (but am sure she will improve in time). Her expressions are always the same. Reckon she's too young for the role
The costumes and background: ALL GREENISH!!! I am reminded of nausea n puking bec. of the color. The leading girl is dressed so garishly, really!! As if the clothes doesn't fit her too well...and always always with bright GREEN shirt. BRIGHT GREEN SHIRT PLUS GREEN BACKGROUND= head dizzy!!
I hate the color of the gir's room- GREEN AGAIN!!

Haha, I thought the leading lady was super-cute... but sometimes she could be annoying (when she was speaking in English, for example-- sometimes cute, sometimes
)... and yeah, her eyes DID always look swollen, now that you mention it. Hmm... I wonder if that's natural? I do know someone with the same problem, although only with one eye 
... it's even weirder, LOL!Anyway, I totally agree about the wardrobe!! I loved her "Cinderella" dress the most... and when she wore other scarves of that color, it was good. It isn't even that she looks awful in those bright colors, but that bright pink and bright green should never be placed in such close proximity, LOL.
I've never seen SDY without the mop of hair, so I'll take your word that he's cute. Gees, it's a shame they did that to him, but I think it fits more with his character. You know, eccentric, angsty pianist with a dark past.
Oh, I haven't finished it yet, but I'm glad to hear there's a happy ending. Autumn in my Heart was sooo sad... although sometimes death/unfulfilled love works, at some point, I get tired of the incomplete, unhappy endings.

ya i agree that the childhood scene is a bit confusing..
the beginning of this story didn't tell the background of Jae Hae. It slowly explain everyone identity including Eun Young......it's because the little boy (forgot his original name) took Jae Hae identity and Eun Young was adopted and change her surname. I was confuse too with Jae Hae reaction when Yi Na met him in Austria. Jae Hae chemistry with Yi Na wasn't as expected because in Yi Na flashback...spoilers ahead (highlight if you want to read) they like each other. But after watching the 2nd and 3rd episode, I understand because in there it explain the indentity swap for Jae Hae.Part of reason why Philips fall for Eun Young is mainly she is korean..that remind him of his mom. Also the big and warm smile from Eun Young that attract him. Philip came from a broken family where his dad refuse to tell him where his mom is buried in Korea...i think Eun Young sort of attract him in this way.
Overall the director emphasis on the scenery...which is not a surpise for me as he is the same director from Autumm Story, Summer Scent and Winter Sonata

ya pity Suh. That's why episode 13 was delay for another week for release. Did you notice Jae Hae eyes was a bit swallon and red on episode 13 and 14. I think it's his left eye and most scene was taken from his right

requests from US fans. And the ratings in Korea weren't that high
either.

the story was so and so.. but still i loved it because of Daniel Henney, of course, and the catchy songs! too bad i can only hum it because i don't understand it. well, except for the english part.
well this series didn't get well in ratings..ummm i like the actor though..hahah..the storyline is quite sad so i hope there's a new story as a good season ender for all endless love seasons....

yeah the story was really sad. made me almost cry
