Yes, I've heard from many others about the poor quality of subtitles on that Spring Waltz DVD. I wish we could have worked on it... but the production company was very stubborn. Unfortunately, we won't have the time to work on Spring Waltz this year (too many other releases). We will be releasing this summer:

The beginning was cute. I thought the little kids playing the older characters did a great job. Even though they were so young, they brought tears to my eyes. Other than that, the love story was cute. The half white/half korean was adorable. Especially when he was trying to express his feelings for the lead actress.

This is a very good drama that people should really enjoy, although there maybe some sad scene but it doesn't end up with a tragic ending. The ending is pretty much good. I feel very sad toward Philp but he has a very good character. Lee Na is pretty annoying but is it pretty sad when she knows the truth. Hey, anyone knows why the real Jae Ha died?

I'm up to Episode 19 now omggg soo good. It got a bit draggy but its soooo good. I don't understand why it got poor ratings and isn't that popular. I only watched bits of Autumn in my Heart and Winter Sonata but I didn't like either one of them. but omg I love Spring Waltz. the main lead is sooo hot

and yeah i didn't like the beginning scenes about the childhood but SOME of it was essential to understsand what was going on. the kids really did a good job especially the girl. I think she looks sooo similar to Eun Young.

this drama looks good so far, just watched the first episode tho...hope it goes on well, im not really familiar wit the actors/actresses except fo daniel henney....nevertheless, hope its worth watchin ^^

yes it has a happy ending!!! the lead actor and actress did their part very well and i luv all those sweet moments they had in this series, the way they looked at each other seems like they really are in love in real life... and the OSTs are all great especially the "ONE LOVE" so addicted...

I just finished the movie and I LOVED IT!!!! No complaint about their hair and wardrobe.... I thought everyone looked unique and Suh Do Young was HOT with his hair like that.... when he smiled he was just soooooooooooo good looking... I also love the chemistry... ahhh my heart melts... I LOVE Kwon Sang Woo but Suh Do Young just caught up.... loving both actors.... SWEET

I just recently finished watching this drama and i had no idea that it was part of the endless love pack!! it sooo makes sense! and i love all of the titles...Autumn in my Heart, Winter Sonata, Summer Scent, and Spring Waltz. the director really has good taste and architectural skills in his works. Summer scent's sceneries were sooo beautiful.. but when you watch spring waltz... it will totally make your heart melt. The scenery was breath taking and the soundtrack... classic and love poem... all of the music for spring waltz was perfect with the actors/actresses and the surroundings!! it was just a really beautiful series and i think this is the best out of all the endless love dramas. The plot was very well thought out even though it is kinda weird how su ho can look SO MUCH ALIKE jae ha.. but its okayy it can happen.. i have a look alike too! haha so yeaa its a very good plot.. and very well developed... not draggy at all! it was just so good! i saw the behind the scenes/ making of it and like daniel henney said that they all worked really hard on this drama and i could tell that they really did. i dl the soundtrack and everything! and i just love it! so i really reccommend all of you to watch spring waltz!!

I've just finished this series..actually i've enjoyed this more than SUmmer Scent...

I like the chemistry between Jae Ha & Eun Young..especially their sweet loving scenes..how they go out on dates, teases each other..so cute.... ;> I'm glad they end the series this way..if not, i will be so annoyed..

Someone was mentioning before about the actors and actress' wardrobe ..all GREEN!..ahaha >< this is so true..all the florescent green in particularly..!!! OMG..hahaa so glaring to the eyes!! Actually i've realised lots of korean guys or rather actors tend to go for bright colours in drama series..they are more into bright green..pink..yellow and stuff like that..hahaa..they are daring enough to wear that..or i should say, too over..hahaa..

I like the story....i even cried when Jae Ha gave a bath to his brother.

I just started this serie and it's so awesome......It's good so far I'm loving it so much......
I can't say much about it first because I just started.....I'm on disc 3 only....It's so good..I didn't know that Spring Waltz is part of the four season whatsoever. I didn't know. It's so good.

A must see series! its not like those dramas where the beginning is very boring...it starts off pretty capitivating so you'll want to keep watching. At first..the male lead seemed really ugly to me..but as soon as you see him on a piano or with eun young..he'll rub off on you and u'll realize how cute he is! Almost done..so can't wait to see how the series turn out to be!

OMG! I did not know that Choi Shiwon was in this series. I am so behind on things. Now I even want to watch it more. Spring Waltz is on my list for "to watch drama". I can't wait to get a copy with english sub!

i don't understand why this series got poor ratings in korea. i mean, this is probably one of the best series i've watched!

I loved the story.the plots are complicated thereby making it unpredictable. i was also quite satisfied with how the actors carried their roles especially SUH DO YOUNG. I think he did quite an impressive job considering that he's more of a model than an actor right?

Daniel Henney was cute and sweet which will make you torn between him and Do Young. Han Hyo Joo wasn't bad either. I think she delivered her role as an innocent and carefree Eun Young really well. and yes, i love her smile. Lee So Yeon was annoying most of the times you'll want to strangle her! hahaha!but i guess that only proves that she's an effective villain. I just don't see why she took a childish promise too far. weird.

The scenery (on the island especially) was breathtaking! and the soundtrack fit the scenes perfectly. I'm not a fan of the Endless Love series (i think the endings are mean haha) but i gotta say, this one is an exception.

Hey....do anyone know the song that was played in the show Spring Waltz. This song was played in one particular scene in this show. They played this song in EPISODE 4.....the part where Phillip carried Eun-Young and placed her on top of his car....and then he started to untie his bowtie and wrapped it around Eun-Young ankle because she sprained it. I have no idea what this song is but I REALLY want it so anybody pls HELP!!!! Thanks.

I just finished watching the series and i couldn't agree on you guys more. Compared to Autum in My Heart and Winter Sonata, I think this definely have the best ending. I like the lead actor, he was great in portraying his character, Eun young was great too, and the guy who played Philip is cute and charming. I sorry I didn't know there korean names. I have to admit at first i was hesitant to watch the series because i thought it would be another heavy, sappy drama, i am more of a romatic comedy kind person but i thought what the heck. I wasn't sorry that i've seen it though its a little long compared to the other series that i've seen but it was worth it. I didn't feel like i've wasted my money buying it. I also love the OST it is nice and the scenery is fabulous from Austria to Korea it is breathe taking.

I've been waiting for this. Followed the whole Endless Love Series. Totally love the idea of having the stories set by season...total genius! Although the Winter Sonata I think was the best especially in terms of storyline. But this show lived up to the pevious series legacy of "postcard scenes" and touching OSTs.

Havn't seen this, but I plan to since I saw all 3 previous Endless Love season series. I am apprehensive though to start with all the mixed feedback on it....might be disappointing But I got the OST...love the songs!

At the moment I'm speechless because of what everyone has said about this series. No doubt that this one of the most---by far korean series of all the four seasons series that is the most memorable, loving, and best scenary of all time.
You can't help but fall in love with it--the characters as well as the scenary and the music, too. It's breathless!

When I first saw it I wasn't excited but as the series progress I started falling in love with it and I couldn't stop myself from finishing.

The storyline was just perfect. Although it had some flaws but I mean what korean series doesn't.
You just can't help but feel the heartache between Jaeha and EunYoung because of their longing to wanna be together but couldn't because the "people" in his life made it difficult for him.
It was even more painful when the truth was finally out and she knew but still they can't be together.

The scenary that was shot in this series was just awesome and to die for. It makes you wish spring was just as wonderful as it is in the serie. Credits to the director and producer for making us feel part of the film. It just feel so real.

The music was just breathtaking. It went so well with the series. They couldn't have chosen the right ballads for it. It made me love it even more.

The actors and actresses that portrays each characters were just fantastic.
Three hoorays to all four characters for doing such a wonderful job. The lead actor--Seo Do-Young did such a good job portraying his characters as someone who's full of regrets, guilt and at the same time torn between doing what his heart wants and what his head is telling him as well as others.
Han Hyo-Joo is just speechless. For a firt-timer to the big screen and very young too she did her part well.

Actor Daniel Henney is different compared to his “My Name is Kim Sam-soon” days. His shyness has disappeared and he has a calm, dandy aura. “Spring Waltz,” which will air for the first time on March 6, is the conclusion of the series including “Endless Love”; “Winter Sonata”; and “Scent of Summer,” all directed by producer Yoon Suk-ho.

“Spring Waltz” is a love story involving four men and women set amidst Austria’s natural beauty and a Korean spring.

“I’m playing pianist Yoon Jae-ha’s (Seo Do-young) global manager, Philip. This time I play a mixed son of an Austrian father and a Korean mother. Philip’s superb appearance and manner, his excellent sense of humor, his great educational background, his love of music… doesn’t that sound like me?” Henney laughs.

But the look in his eyes communicated the anxiety he is experiencing from his belief that this drama will determine whether people will consider him a serious actor or not.

“Kim Sam-soon’s Henry appears without a childhood, but Philip experiences difficulty with his parents from a young age and grows up scarred. Because he is a character with a past, ‘internal’ acting is necessary.”

Of particular interest are his lines in Korean. If his mastery of the Korean language is lacking, he could receive his first attacks from the public.

“In the first part of the drama, because the character grew up in a foreign country, his speaking is limited to phrases like, “it’s cool,” and “that’s strange.” This is lower than my level of Korean. I can understand about 60 percent of everyday Korean language conversation. But my Korean lines become longer as the drama unfolds, and longer phrases are still difficult for me. When I’m speaking in Korean, it is sometimes difficult for me to become absorbed in my acting.”

In order to become better accustomed to Korean conversation, he says he listens to music and sings along with Yoon Do-hyun’s “Love 2,” the band Deli Spice’s “Chawoo chawoo,” and Lee Seung-chul’s “Hee-ya,” which are some of his favorites. He also watches producer Yoon Suk-ho’s “Endless Love,” and “Winter Sonata,” saying that he learns elegant emotional acting and subtlety from them.

Yoon has admitted that Philip’s character did not exist in the beginning. This means the role was created for Henney. Will he be able to adapt to the role? That is his task for 2006.

hey guys!...i ABSOLUTELY love Spring Waltz...it is kind of refreshing compared to some of the other dramas that have been out recently...does anyone know the piano classical song that Jae-Ha was playing when he thought that Eun-Young wasn't his Eun-Young...and it played after he yelled at Eun-young for looking at his seashell thing and Phillip went in his room to confront him and he turned the song off before he started yelling at him...Thanks a bunch!

I finished watching this series a few months ago...and let me just say that Daniel Henny (Philip) was HOT!!!! But I couldn't believe that of all the seasons this one actually had a happy ending...not like winter sonata where there was a happy ending but the guy was blind.... or summer scent where they both lived but you don't really know if they got together or not ( you just assume they will).
This one actually got a Happy Ending...like they got together, and lived happily ever after happy ending. I was shocked cuz I bet my brother that it was gonna end in some kind of tragic way...but I lost.. oh well all in all I thought this was a good one. Not my favorite of the 4 but definately not the last one.

i love spring waltz, it was superb and touching, i love the ending and their chemistry.... overall it was jux great and suh do young was HOT!

I just finish watching Spring Waltz..OMG.. It was so great. I fell in love with it as well as to Suh Do Young Character. Theirfilming location is just sobeatiful. Anyway that lead actress she looks like Song hye gyo, you can actually mistaken her as hye gyo younger sister.

Can't wait to watch this on tV..my copy is awful it had bad suntitles i actually had a headaches understanding them haha. I hope Abs will premier this soon.

Got introduced to this drama thr a friend....heard tat it was done by the same director of Autumn tale... so I actually didnt want to watch it. Cos i don't like sad story...hahaha. Now i am on epi 14..and its so good, I just love it. Plus i am glad tat it has a happy ending , cant wait to get to epi 20.

actually, I still prefer "Winter sonata" and "Autumn Tale". These two stories are better,even though I didn't finish watching Spring Waltz. I'm in the 18 episode. But if you ask me why is less good, I don't know. Maybe it's because I like sad movie or Suh do Yeong, is not attractive enough,since I wash this movie because of Si Won....still I would finish washing it.

This movie is good and the actor is almost beautiful anf good looking! The girl is just so cute. And Suh do Yeong is very handsome.. OMG!! I freaking love this drama!! ....At first It look like an extremely boring drama but just by watching the first episode i coudn't get enough of it.

i jux finish RE-watching it and still was so sad and good..... i luv their body chemistry and how their bodies move together.....

i had very little expectations when i started spring waltz, esp after the disappointments of autumn in my heart and summer scent. but within 6 episodes i between drawn into the magic of Jaeha and EunYong. the purity of their love was sweet enough to warm the heart and real enough to keep it grounded.

spring waltz didn't introduce any ground-breaking new plotline, but there were enough steps to keep you dancing.

I fell in love with Jaeha along with EunYong. There was such raw vulnerability in his love for EunYong that made it impossible NOT to love him. The actor delivery was both believable and true, he tapped into Jaeha's emotions and feelings with the result of giving to us not just a character but someone to relate to and understand.

I did feel really bad for Philip, since he loved EunYong just as much as Jaeha. i loved that even though he knew she didn't return his love he didn't try to force her, but was willing to be there as her friend.

unlike YINA, who drove me absolutely crazy throughout the drama. she was just so damn typical it was disgusting. i hate it when a character does a complete 180 like she did. i couldn't even mutter any pity for her, since she really deserved the whole she dug for herself.

overall i think this is the best of the seasons series. for those who enjoy an airy atsmosphere and an enduring love story this is def the drama for you!

I am hooked on this show. I still have about 6 episodes to go and I'm rooting for Eun Young and Jae Ha.

On another note, does anybody know the name of the actress who plays Eun Young's friend Mi Jung? She kind of reminds me of someone who played a supporting role in Dae Jang Geum.

i didnt like the lead actor XD.. Yoon Jae-ha’s i mean he was.. it was his hair!.. hahah.. i have a thing with their hair.. if their hair is nice.. then... =X.. hahah.. is there any pictures of him with short hair.. i didnt really like his role.. even though it was the MAIN role.. maybe if lee jun-ki or someone else played him.. i would of been much more happy.. or.. maybe if he cut his hair.. XD.. it was kinda too long.. and the bangs.. =PP.. sorry if im being rude to his fans.. =)

Is this series really that good,.. because I watched a bit of episode 1 and it doesn't really attract me. I wanna watch it because there's Daniel Henney there but the story seems a bit draggy to me. I don't knoe though but looking at your guys' posts, probably I should give it a try ~

just finish watching this a few days ago...

it started really nicely in the first and 2nd ep...then when i was talking about their childhood, i find it a drog n too boring...perhaps they shouldnt put all the childhood memory in such a huge chuck together...they were talking about their childhood for at least 3 episodes....thats just too much for me...

but after that it got better n the show got interesting especially the end...

i like the ending n for once the nice ending where the character end up together is longer than the normal korean show which only show the characters together for like 2 minutes...but this one give us more than 5 minutes of happy ending...so i really like that n was happy with that...

this show i must say is not the best of the 4 seasons but its pretty good i would say....definately worth watching given the other crap korean shows out there, this one is pretty good n worth watching...
