Jordan's Secret Cold Remedy
At night hold a big watermelon while sleeping. It could take the
heat off ! Then brew hot coca cola with lemon and ginger together
and drink. It will chase away the cold very effectively.

Jordan's Daily Habits
Three hours before bed time and after waking up, he does not eat but
only drink water. Two hours before bed, he does not eat because the
doctor said that when one wakes up, the organs are actually not
awake yet.

Review:

There are the five songs sung at the street promotions in Taipei. The first and the fifth song are where he danced all the way, unlike in music videos which are heavily edited. There were 6 dancers with him in Yellow Bean and it was G O O D DANCING ! The song Explode has 4 dancers with him.

In between each song, a Taiwanese lady interviewed him and he was very funny with his poor Mandarin.

One of the highlight was that hey invited 3 persons on stage to use chopsticks to pick up yellow beans from a bowl onto a plate. The excitement of the girls chosen.....haha.....The interviewer asked what she liked about Jordan and she said, everything...but Jordan thought she said his limbs.... tongue.gif

The second girl was in agony when they passed her in choosing the first time around and the interviewer laughed at her...and she asked her how much did she like Jordan. She said, so much that I could marry him....Jordan laughed and sank on his knees....

The third one was a guy.

So the competition started with only one minute. You see Jordan really intense and focused. In the end the guy won. And the prize was to be able to get close to Jordan. Below stage, a woman screamed and jumped and yelled...It was the guy's girlfriend...and they all laughed. Asked if the girlfriend could take his place, the guy said yes and he had to get Jordan's approval. Jordan was very gracious about it.

She came up and they asked her how she wanted to do it. The workers kept going in front of them taking the plates and the table away and Jordan kept wondering what these people were doing. She said she just wanted a hug.

Finally when the time came, Jordan sent the guy off stage, to the laughter of the crowd...and he started taking off his outer layer.....

Everyone laughed of course...and finally he hugged her.

Asked how she felt, she said it felt very secure.

The organizer had an assistant to take a photo and Jordan asked the guy to come up too and Jordan stood at the back. The interviewer reminded them not to get into an argument.

After the 5 songs, Jordan was interviewed in a traveling compartment. Some of the questions asked that I could understand was:

What do you say to your other half when you find her? Baby I think about you....and Jordan said it twice and was all shy and laughing away

Whose music do you appreciate most? David Tao and he sang Melody......(He also mentioned he really likes Bad Boys 2)

What is the greatest challenge in your career? Myself

What else would you like to work in? Something new...something that he hasn't done before.

The next part showed him shopping at a record shop and he bought 5 CDs. Ultrasound of David Tao, Mary and 3 other African American albums of hip hop and rap nature.

At the end of the disc was a trailer for the movie The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen by Sean Connery and a trailer for 28 Days Later, a Danny Boy film.

For that price, it was well worth it. We outside of HK hardly see Jordan on stage at these charity shows. You could see his charm and his dancing and expressions when he sing.

I am not sure if he lip synced...but even if he did...it was fine for me. He made it well synchronized.

Article: May 6, 2004
Source: A. Jordan Chan Siu Chun Korea
http://board2.cgiworld.net/view.cgi?id=lis...=189&tmp_no=206

Shedding his elaborate costumes and Hip Hop wear, Jordan Chan has a total makeover. He does not have anything glamorous, he does not exaggerate his looks, and no matter who he portrayed before as Wai Siu Bo, or gangster member, or a trustworthy person…his image has changed totally. Summer is here and Jordan would take off his top shirt to be waxed. He would be a waxed character on the Blackhole album cover.

For the eight album, Jordan faced a greater challenge than before. In the post he was singing fun music, or an unknown man struggling to survive and has won much praise. Now that he is the no. 1 in BMG, he wanted remained sincere. Even though they had many roadblocks in this album, Jordan and BMG has spent a lot of effort to erase his hip hop image entirely and give the audience a new image to redifine the 3G elements of music (Game, Graphic, New Generation). In keeping with the technological advances of music standards, and to bring something from the 21st century, and advanced to the 36th century, this album will become the benchmark for a new musical standard.

After Jordan combed his hair well, the make up artist put wax on Jordan. The make up artists also prepared medical coloring to do his body up from the chest upwards. The face even have an antique look so that he would look like a transplanted robot in science fiction. Compared to other types of make up, Jordan has to withstand over 8 hours of preparation. He had to keep his face straight, and couldn’t change his facial expressions, or else the wax would break. To put all this wax on him and not let his pores out to breathe, Jordan finally could not stand no talking, sweating. If he laughed, then his mold would would crack. After 8 hours, Jordan said, “ If we keep going like this, soon I would be an handicapped soldier.

Jordan likes men with wide chest. Especially when he was half naked making the photo shoot, he would like his muscles to be filmed. Even though he tried to swim, play ball, using the gym and do other types of exercise, his work has been so busy that he didn’t even have time to sleep. That’s why he didn’t have good muscle tones. So just before he appeared before the camera, he quickly did a few moves and he even rubbed his own chest and posed, causing much laughter with the crew.

According to another article, it was said that Anthony Bao has given Jordan 350 cc of whisky so that when they recorded the song One Pair, Jordan would be sound slightly intoxicated. That's track no. 9 titled One Pair.

Scroll to the bottom and click on them.

Please tell me in this thread and make comments:

1. Do you like it or not? From a scale of 1-10 ten being the best.

2. Which are your favorites?

3. Which do you hate?

4. Would you buy the original CD?

Please be as frank as possible with your comments. I'll send them onwards to Jordan.

I personally like it very much. I find it very energetic.

I like track no. 2 because he gets to duet with a lady and it's a nice change.
I like track no. 5, 8 for its very energy....it is a nice change from his slower songs.
I like track no. 10 because it sounds so caberet style and I could already see him doing his sways and dances on stage ! Sigh.

For the absolute best slow song, it got the be track no. 6 Cannot Leave You.
The rest, 2 are repeats, and One Pair is fine - totally karaokeable !

For the absolute best fast song, it's track no. 8 Double Yellow Line !

Absolutely impartial (or don't like) is track no. 1, 36th Century. Even though it has Anthony Bao rapping in it....

These songs have very nice intros. :band:

Definitely worth buying one or two copies to even give away.

News:

(7/28/2004) Jordan Chan Siu Chun yesterday worked on his new music video HAIL (MAN SHUI) in a Beijing opera big general costume. The record label hired several Beijing opera extras to perform. Siu Chun was very satisfied with his look but because the head dress was too tight and too heavy he had a headache. Siu Chun had to occasionally remove it to let his scalp breathe.

Earlier Siu Chun went to work on INITIAL D (TAU MAN JI D) in Japan, but due to rain production was hindered and the cast was stuck for a week. Ah Jat revealed on a radio program that while "suspended" Ah jat enjoyed watching adult video to kill time. Siu Chun honestly said that Ah Jat invited him to watch as well. Although he and Ah Jat are buddies, he blamed his friend for not watching what he says and wanted to stay away from him.
"Ah Jat that day called me for hot pot casserole and video. It was very casual. This guy doesn't talk about anything else. (Do you blame him for exposing you?) Yeah, I blame him. I have to start to avoid him. I don't know how the Big Field (Krystal Tin Yui Nei) stand him, he is so dirty. (How was the video?) Great, quite a value at 1,800 yen. (What else did you do aside from watching video?) We rode bicycles and shopped at supermarkets. What else were we going to do, watching videos all day and night? I am not deranged!"

Biography:
Jordan Chan Siu-Chun was born on July 8, 1967. He joined TVB's Dancer Training Classes in 1985 and gradually moved his way up the ranks from there. He did back-up dancing for popular singers like Roman Tam, Anita Mui and Sandy Lam Yik-Lin until 1992, when he formed a musical group with fellow dancers Jason Chu Wing-Tong and Michael Tse Tin-Wah, called Wind, Fire, and Ocean. He made his film debut in Twenty Something (1994). The film would bring him a Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actor and a nomination for Best New Artist. That year he was also nominated—in the same categories—for He's a Woman, She's a Man.
The nominations would continue to roll in for Chan. He was nominated for HK Film Awards in 1995 for Heaven Can't Wait, and in 1996 for Big Bullet. Since then, he's appeared in two Milky Way films, Help!!! (2000) and Comeuppance (2000), as well as a number of popular horror flicks. However, the role that truly Chan is truly identified with is Chicken, from the Young and Dangerous series. The series spanned the years 1996 to 2000, and during that time, Chan rapidly transformed from an acclaimed supporting actor into an unconventional leading man.
Chan has gone through a number of name changes over the years. His ID card bears the name "Andy" and he was known variously as "Donald" and "Calvin" during his dancing days. He finally settled on the name Jordan because he was a fan of Michael Jordan. (Yinique 2003)

Jordan Chan
Born in Hong Kong in 1968, Jordan Chan Siu-Chun has been in around fifty films since making in screen debut in 1994. While this may seem like a lot, it is the typical output for an "idol" (an artist who works on movies, telvision and music) these days in Hong Kong.

Chan got his start by enrolling in the TVB Dancers' Training Class in 1985. Soon after graduation, he joined a few of the studio's troupes that would accompany popular singers during their live performances. He worked with artists such as Alan Tam, Leslie Cheung, and Anita Mui before being invited by a producer to make a record of his own.

The album was a hit, and like many hot young singers, Chan's managers wanted to push him into acting as well, and in 1994, he made his debut with Twenty Something. Chan's performance netted him a Taiwanese Golden Horse nomination, a Hong Kong Film Award nominatation for Best Newcomer, as well as a Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor. Chan has since received several Hong Kong Film Award nominations; two for his role in He's a Woman, She's a Man (1994), and one each for Heaven Can't Wait (1995) and Big Bullet (1996).

Though he seemed like many young singer/actors to be heading for the traditional romantic comedy movies (which are usually always safe box-office territory, especially with fickle young fans), in 1996, Chan completed two movies which allowed him to branch out his career. The aforementioned Big Bullet established him as an action star, a role he has followed with several notable movies, including 1998's Enter the Eagles, where he starred alongside Bruce Lee's daughter Shannon in her Hong Kong debut. With 1996's Young and Dangerous, Chan established himself as a mainstay of the "goo wat jai" (Triad youth) genre. The film was a huge success, and still sprouts sequels and spinoffs to this day, including Those Were the Days (2000), which focused on Chan's character.

Through the years, Chan has also become known for his work in the horror genre (most notably for the 1998 cult hit Bio-Zombie), as well as continuing to work in the comedies which got him his start (2000's Help!!!). He also continues to be a popular singer in Asia, and it looks like he will be a mainstay of Hong Kong movies for years to come.

Jordan's ex lover, Stephanie Che was out in the streets at night yesterday, and all of a sudden a stranger comes up and swears at her. Yesterday Jordan recieved an interview and was pretty mad, "Is it a guy? If it's a Hong Kong person, I should really immigrate. I never knew Hong Kong people's attitude are so bad. The economy is going down and down because of those people! I wont be sad for Stephanie, just for that guy's mother, giving birth to a 'bbq pork' (cha siu, refering that its even better to give birth to something that you can actually do something with instead of such a stupid, useless child). Wait, bbq pork is too good, giving birth to a piece of poop is better! When it flushes away, just pretend you didnt give birth at all!"

Being Stephanie's good friend, Jordan will do his best to protect her, "That useless guy, if I was there that night and if he still speaks on, I would certainly call the police."

I haven't heard any news on Jordan Chan. Does anyone know what he working on and if any of his work are coming out soon? I wish he would put out a new Cantonese CD.

Jordan Chan: Aaron Kwok is better than Rain

Korea craze has swept over Asia, the result are some people in Hong Kong and China who have shown dislike on this idea. Hong Kong’s Jacky Chan and China’s Zhang Guo Li are some celebrities who have shown some anti-Korean actions.

Jordan Chan, who entered the entertainment circle as a dancer, has shown some of his anti-Korean feelings. Jordan has targeted major Korean star, Rain (Bi). Jordan said that there is nothing special about Rain’s dancing and that Rain’s dancers were ‘crap’. Jordan also said that Rain’s dancing is fake and is hilarious to watch because of Rain’s personalised dancing movements. Jordan compared Rain with Hong Kong’s famous dancer, Aaron Kwok. Jordan praised Aaron by saying Aaron’s dancing was number 1 and that if Aaron was ‘fully charged’; Aaron’s dancing powers will be higher than Rain’s.

Is Jordan good friends with Aaron because he's claiming that Aaron's the best dancer and a lot better than Rain? I would have to agree and say Aarons the best dancer period.

Yesterday Ron Ng, Michael Tong, Coco Chiang, and other models attended the Armani function. Ron, who had a leopard skin look, praised the company, "From now on, the company is sponsoring everything from bottom to top, inside and outside."

Ron, who has a dancing background, is now busy with rehersing for the TVB 38th Anniversary Celebration. Lately he heard about Jordan Chan 'dissing' Rain, Ron helped and said, "I have also noticed, of course I'll support the local singers lah! (Is it helping your 'own' people?) I've watched Rain before, he's really cool! But Aaron Kwok has alot of changes. I've liked him ever since I was little. I remember I was his dancing partner and I was really happy even if I stood in the back. All these years, Aaron is still my idol!"

The latest on Jordan Chan’s visit[size=4]

Here’s an update on the upcoming visit of Hong Kong star Jordan Chan and director Wai Ka Fai to Malaysia.

The pair will be here on Jan 16 to promote their latest Chinese New Year flick, Shopaholic. A media gathering is scheduled on that day at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel and you could stand a chance to win invites to the event!

A contest is currently being held at 8TV, 98.8 (radio station) and China Press for your chance to win invites to the media event.

If you miss out on the chance, then don’t fear because Chan and Wai will be making an appearance at the Main Concourse (Lower Level 1), Sunway Pyramid between 7-8pm on the same day.

The duo will be launching the “Shopaholic @ Sunway Pyramid” event.

One of the activities during this event is the “Shop for a New Year Gift Drive” where the public can buy a gift and place it under a wishing tree. The gifts will then be distributed to orphans in various orphanages as a New Year gift. The stars will also be giving away ang pows, goodie bags and movie passes to orphans during the launch.

Meanwhile, fans will be able to win fantastic prizes, which include Chan’s latest single, Shopaholic ang pow packets and a chance to participate in games with the stars.

At 9pm, the pair will make a special appearance at the gala premiere of their movie at TGV Sunway Pyramid.

Shopaholic is scheduled for a Jan 19 release in Malaysia.
