Poor Sandy... last night at SCQ... though Director Joey Reyes found her a very promising actress, well, in fact, she's the top 1 for Reyes in the monologue exercise of the teen questors. But with their activity in front of the SCQ jurors, she said that she feels like quiting the search everytime "it happens like this" (when she's in front of the jurors and giving her many instructions in acting). Go girl! You have the face and the talent! You can do it!

Last Saturday at SCQ: Hero's very transparent last time. He simply just can't hide his nervousness and disappointment the moment Sandara was left with the other two weakest Teen Questors wherein the one who would be out of the challenge will be chosen. Hero just had a relief when Boy Abunda, told Sandara that she's in due to his highly-exceptional texters votes.

In ASAP, a while ago, the 9 left Teen Questors where the guests. Hero admits that he really is nervous for Sandara for the fact that he is closest to the girl among the others in the group.

What I really noticed with Hero everytime I see him with Sandara is that he always had his arms around Sandara. Hmm... could be? That Hero really has a thing for Sandara other than being his best bud... blush blush blush

Well... as for me... I think you're judging her based on her looks... Ask people why they like her... They would answer "because she's pretty" or "ang cute niya kasi." Well, I used to like her too but as the time goes by, I don't know why my liking on her is started fading until there's nothing left... I guess I was expecting more from her on her performance... Pero sagabal din kasi ung hindi siya sanay magtagalog... Plus, she used to cry when she couldn't do a challenge... Maybe the reason why Hero and Sandara is close because they're both on Monday group... Anyway, I'm not against them, but I think if they won't exert more effort, babagsak din sila balang araw even if they are the crowds favorites... That's what saved Sandara from being out...

It's not that Sandy doesn't have any talent, some people just deny that to the their selves because lately she's been rated as one of the weakest questor. But she really has something to contribute in the entertainment industry. Don't deny that! And we can't blame Sandy for crying most of the time. Just put your shoes into hers, could you stand the sometimes overboard criticisms of the judges? C'mon...

Anyways, Wednesday SCQ: Sandy was congratulated by Boy Abunda and says something like, "Sandara is coming back to life... like she was before..." meaning that she's starting to prove now that she has the guts to be the ultimate SC questor!

I don't admire Sandara just because of her cute looks but her honest to goodness attitude. She's also a one tough girl for overcoming all the barriers in her way while competing in SCQ. blush

Re: Look-alikes... I think Sandy looks much like Moon Geung Young, the one who portrays young Jenny (Eun-Soo) in Endless Love 1, Autumn in My Heart.

Re: Camile and Jasmine... Camile admits that she's from a Filipino race but I don't think Jasmine did.

Sandara is Sandara... nobody can be like her... in fact, as for me, she's already a winner becoz she stands out among the other questors though most think that she's not that good or talented or whatsoever... she's the most popular and the most loved... as the cliche saying goes: "history repeats itself". This is what happens to Nadine Samonte. She's the crowd favorite of the Starstruck fame but she doesn't emerge to be the ultimate survivor but lok at her now... I really do think that she has more exposure than Jennylyn and Yasmien, the girls of the Final Four. I mean she has the biggest break than the others. She has her own series that she is the leading character than Jennylyn and Yasmien only appearing as supporting casts of the teeny-bopper programs of GMA 7. Then, If Sandara fail to be the ultimate teen questor, I think she'll also be like Nadine.

And last thing I would like to say, Sandara wouldn't be at the Star Circle Quest Circle of 10 (or 9, as the case may be) if the judges don't see something different or remarkable at her. She has a talent but the language barrier keeps her to be the weakest. But she'll bloom in the future, you'll see.

Sandara was in "Morning Girls" today together with other Sc Questors, Hero Angeles, her loveteam; Joross and Roxanne; and Melissa and Joseph. The topic in the talk show is of course about love teams.



Kris Aquino asked Sandara and Hero why they were paired. Sandara says that because of Meteor Garden fame. You can tell... Sandara as San Cai (though she looks more like young Jenny of Endless Love 1, at least to me) and Hero Angeles as Hua Ze Lei.

Sandara admits that at first, she finds Hero suplado or aloof but as they become close, she learned that Hero is nice and makulit or naughty as what she said.

The love teams were asked to make a love letter each for their partner and Sandara has made the best one, according to the judges, Heart Evangelista and Camille Pratts.

Her love letter is something like this: First part, she wrote the nice things and characteristics of Hero that she really likes and the second part is that she's pointing out for a special person for her: there's this "OPEN IT" part of the letter and what's inside is a mirror. Hero saw his reflection in the mirror making him the special person for Sandara... blush

[SPOILER]Sandara's revelations: Errol, 13, the youngest among the SC Questors try to court her and admits to her that she is his first crush and actually told Sandara these 3 magic and conquring words: "I LOVE YOU!"

But Sandara turned him down because according to her, Errol is too very young for her. :lol?:

Sandara is in the strongest group last Saturday in Star Circle Quest. Good for her!

When it's Sandy's turn to read the letter, because she's a Korean no doubt, she didn't manage to read the letter accurately so she just said, "Sorry ha, masakit kasi ang eyeball ko, eh!" ("I'm sorry, it's just that my eyeball aches!") :lol?:

* Newscasting Test (Weather Forecasting for her case)

In Sandara's case, she imagined that there's a storm signal no. 3 and students in all levels must rejoice for their classes are suspended. Funny thing is that, Sandara named the storm, "bading" (gay). Boy Abunda, one of the judges, react after Sandy's performance. He asked Sandy if she just said that it was the name of the storm just because she simply saw him, who actually is a gay. But Abunda praised Sandy when she said that the storm came from Korea.

Anyway, I agree with you. we have to give Sandy a chance. It is so true that I truly appreciate her because she is a non-pinoy trying to learn tagalog. That is very rare... Hats off to Sandara just for that alone.

And for those who say she's not pretty... hello? By what standards are you judging her? She IS pretty. And just a few more years to her face and she'll really be stunning. I hope that she will still be in showbiz by then...

Alam niyo, as time passes by, I finally realized that Sandara really is making an effort evrytime I watch Star Circle Quest... But honestly, she and Hero are really weak... Always the strongest are Melissa, Roxanne and Neri... So I'm not sure if they have by any chance be in the top five questors... But I'm hoping for it...

I also found Sandara really funny! But I have to say she is really one of the weakest... Please don't start throwing tomatoes at me people... ' Even Errol is really strong these days and Michelle...

Joross Gamboa and Hero Angeles, Sandara's love team, had a showdown in Morning Girls yesterday. One of the showdowns include a game with Katya Santos. One of the challenge is for the two boys to prove who's got the softest lips so there, the guys have to kiss Katya. The girl appeared so daring wants the two guys to kiss her on the lips. Joross won. But when it was reported at TV Patrol, Hero admits that he became very shy to kiss Katya because Sandara is there watching at the set. Sandara's reaction: "Was it your first time?"

One reporter asked too whether what kind of date would Hero ask Sandara to. He said that he'll take her with him in a hot-air balloon and together, they will watch fireworks. (Hmmm... must have a strong influence of Chinovelas, huh?)

Sandara was so funny yesterday! Boy Abunda commented that he didn't see any fright in Sandy's eyes in their comedy-horror presentation. Abunda added that it seems like Sandy is already used to "white ladies." Luis Manzano asked Sandy if she's agreeing to what Abunda said. Sandy smiled and says, "Close na kami ng white lady!" The audience applaused and cheered for her reply. All of a sudden Abunda's little joke bounced back to him in just a split second!

I was so amazed at Sandara's performance yesterday. It's though as if I'm watching a different person. Other than being the strongest questor at the test, the "ART OF DYING", Sandy, teary-eyed, chin-up, tough and pretty determined and confident that day, never made a laughing stock out of herself for the first time by refusing to do her ever famous and well-loved "SANDARA WAVE" which followed automatically by "MAHAL KO KAYO!" speech, if I may call it, as persuaded by the quest jurors especially Boy Abunda. I myself cried of what Sandara did. She became stronger and tougher now. Maybe, In Sandy's mind, after what had happened to her last Saturday, she's now trying to pick up the pieces to make herself whole again. To prove to everyone that if ever she would be left for the "Magic Circle of Five", it isn't because she always has the highest votes among her competitors but for the guts and the talent that she already has. Good luck Sandara!

Oh no! Sandy already has 3 weakest rating this week... sad! In TV Patrol, Sandara said that she's prepared to be voted out this Saturday and stay in SCQ no longer. But for me, it is a pleasure to have this Korean lady in the competition because without her, let's admit, SCQ Teen will never be as funnier and more entertaining like now. She has touched the hearts of most of us and proves that a cry-baby like her can achieve her goals and dreams if only one should strive harder and become tougher in facing all the challenges in their lives. Sandara, you've been an inspiration to most of us! Continue shining!!!

At Star Circle Quest Fab Five Special yesterday:

REVELATIONS:

• 1. Sandara's family is not really well-off in Korea so they have to migrate in the Philippines 9 years ago.
  
  
• 2. Sandara's family isn't talking to anyone (neighbors neither) when they came in the Philippines. Sandara just stayed inside their house all the time.
  
  
• 3. Sandara, as a child, was very surprised to learn that there really were malls around the country and she was very happy. She was also very happy to know that there were also bubble gums that she could pop up around.
  
  
• 4. Sandara was accelerated 2 times in grade school.
  
  
• 5. Sandara entered the Center for Pop Music when she was in high school in Pasay Chung Hua.
  
  
• 6. Sandara, together with her close friends in Center for Pop Music organized a mini-concert. Sandara's playlist were Genie in the Bottle with Christina Aguilera, Dadalhin by Regine Velasquez. (Mind you, she really sings and dances so well! Shame on those who are saying that she has no talent!)
  
  
• 7. All of Sandara's cash winnings as the Voter's Choice in Star Circle Quest is being saved by her so she could go back to Korea, check-in in a Hotel, visit her relatives and tour again her country. She kind of missed that place, her hometown. But she also said that P30,000 is not yet enough.
  
  
• 8. Sandara wants her mom to always smile.
  
  
• 9. Sandara admits that she wants to make her classmates and friends happy and always smiling so she jokes around.

Sandara shed tears once again during the Magic Circle of 5 Goes to Cebu Press Conference. She was hurting at the expeculations that her family is buying all her votes so she would stay in the competition. But as we all know her, she's witty and good at cracking jokes so she just answer the other questions in form of jokes. I wouldn't be surprised if one day, someday soon, she will get the "Darling of the Press" award. "I won't give up!," Sandara closed.

On the other hand, Hero Angeles gave his love team a piece of advice. That she should prove to everybody that she's worthy being wih the Magic Circle of Five and not to cry every time something like this issues come her way.

I really enjoyed Sandara's performance last night at the SCQ Grand Finals. Very, very entertaining unlike the other four. Just an opinion. And the jurors already gave her a title, the New Concert Queen! Hurrah, Sandara!!! The mistress of all cuteness!!!

Even if she's not a guest in "Good Morning, Kris" today, Sandara was well praised by Kris Aquino. Kris praised Sandy for her genuine reaction when Hero was hailed as the Grand Teen Questor last Saturday Night. She also said that she noticed Sandy's really very happy for Hero as if she wasn't really expecting to win over him.

Elizabeth, yes, I would have to agree with you that Sandy was so nice in Victim Extreme. Her calm spirit and mild manners make her ever so adorable in the eyes of her fans.

I was however surprised with what she shared with Hero when they were already in the van. She said that it was the first time that she was the comforter because normally, she is the person being comforted. I could just imagine how lost Sandy must have felt during that experience... and yet she was naturally good that her actions were instinctively nice!

I drew two frames of Sandara anime-look-alike using pencil in scratch papers. Highlighted it with my Pilot Pen. Scanned it. Colored it in Adobe Photoshop. Then animated it. I agree. I guess her novelty is wearing off. I mean she's very uncooperative... Like in Morning Girls she chose Patrick..Gee... doesn't he have a girlfriend already whose way prettier than her. If she plans to steal Patrick, why do it in front of the camera??? She starting to annoy me more because she makes a big fool out of Hero and their fans. She's tackless, not "totoo". Before I liked her but now I don't anymore. I think her head got too big already with the way she goes around and flaunts her crushes. I also despise abs-cbn sometimes when they feature her in TV patrol with her crushes..it's no news at all.
This is my comment. To the fans of sandy no offense, I just would like to react that she has changed a lot for the worse.
