I have gotten hooked on Korean telenovelas but I am the type that would really prefer happy or satisfying endings. I do not mind if the main characters go through all kinds of trials and tribulations during the course of the series as long as it can end happily and with satisfaction. Some series, ofcourse, are all-out tragic while others end so ambiguously, neither here nor there.

Of the series I have watched, the ones with the very best and satisfying endings are the followng:

1. Full House

2. Green Rose

3. Sweet 18

4. All ABout Eve (though I would have preferred a grand wedding as the culmination)

5. Sassy Girl -- Chun Hyang

5. All In

6. Loveholic

7. Save The Last Dance For Me

8. Hotelier

Oh! Feel Young! was slightly upbeat but rather frustrating; I would have wanted him to triumph in his job as president AND have a big wedding with Chae Rim.

Other wish: A Full House type of series for Kwon Sang Woo with a happy ending for a change and maybe he can play the role of Song Hye Kyo but written for a man.

Are there any other series with happy and/or satisfying endings? I heard that Romance has a happy ending. Wonderful Life I believe has the daughter dying of cancer but is the ending at least upbeat and satisfying?

So far, I would say Full House and maybe Oh Phil-Seung, Bong Sun-Young! out of the other series that I've watched.

I like Sassy Girl, Chun-hyang's ending, Sweet 18 comes second. Sassy Girl, Chun-hyang's ending is very heart-warming and memorable due the vast obstacle the fated couple have to overcome before they are united as one.

i thinksaying lovers in paris has a good ending would be a bit of a joke, but i liked the drama as a whole and if you really understand and think about the ending, it was satisfying.

Sorry to say, I am not a realistic person.

I am one of those who likes watching drama with happy endings .
Some of those I have seen are :

18 VS 29
All about Eve
Full House
Hotelier
Love Story in Harvard
Lovers in Paris (though the ending … well, no need to say more .. puzzle)
Romance
Something about 1%
Sweet 18
Winter Sonata (though BJY is blind)
Wonderful Life

Please recommend other Korean drama with HAPPY endings and appreciate some info on the drama. Thank you.

I don't watch Korean dramas (the only one I've seen was Hotelier) but from what I can tell...aren't happy endings in the eye of the viewer?

My friend saw Hotelier and she thought it was a bad/sad ending and she hated it. I, on the other hand, loved it. Thought it was sooo good/happy. So eh.

Haha i am like that too..i only watch happy korean dramas...can't stand the sad ones..they piss me off actually...too unrealistic and always the same ending..

anways i liked these:

Let's go to the beach
Sassy Girl Chun-Hyang
Cheers for the Women*
Four Sisters*
Oh! Pil Seung*
Snow White
All In
Dating now*

The ones with the asterisks are the ones with Chae Rim in it...and i mostly just watched those shows for her..so if you're not a chae rim fan might not like them...although the shows that she is in suually haev SOME angst..the endings are always happy

if you just want a straight out silly one..then watch let's go to the beach!

I like the ending of FullHouse, Sweet 18, Save the Last Dance for me & Lovers in Paris. In Lovers, I just felt that the ending is hanging. But it's still a good series with good ending.

Most of the kr dramas are really touchy and sad in the middle, but they turned out to have very nice ending. Happy Ending. Almost everyone got things they wanted.

I only know that Princess Lulu has a good and happy ending while fashion 70s also has a happy ending but only for the main characters. It doesn't turn to be 100% happy ending (Does it make sense?) ^_^'

I guess sad endings are realistic and part of every day life. However, it's sometimes depressing that so many Korean movies end up with someone dying, disappearing or leaving.

Then there are some Korean movies that can be considered relatively happy endings like Calla and I need a Wife.

Snow White aka Taste of Sweet Love
My Girl
Lovers in Paris
Wedding

I think Sweet Love is a really cute series, but since I am not finished with the series yet I am not sure if this one has a happy ending.
