and hungry as well
Yea, it does makes people hungry... I remember watching it so many years back, and one of the episodes they were making tofu, and I was waiting for my breakfast while watching it... Making me even hungrier.
I agree that it is a very very old anime, but it's still very popular among everybody. Actually when you watch back and compare to the anime these days, the animation is not very horrible... It is indeed actually still quite wonderful. The reaction of the judges were very funny too XD
But I like Yakitate! Japan because it is unique in its own way as well. Kuro yan's reactions are crazy and worth laughing over.

Cooking Master Boy was good, but I think Yakitate's better. Y R the main characters always so cheerful, optimistic and innocent. Their sidekick kinda...dumb and slightly annoying (at times, though they can be funny too)?
Well there's I know there's a manga that's about curry called "Addicted to Curry" but there R a couple of scenes that aren't exactly PG... ' But that's about it for cooking.

I've only watched Cooking Master Boy and I thought it was pretty good. But I've heard of Yakitate. Is it really that good? If it is, maybe I should watch it.
