Have you heard about her before?

Kathy used to be in many TVB series during 80s-90s
For example,
- Yang family
- The sword of conquest (co-star: Eddie Kwan)
- Time Before Time (co-star gordon lam)
- Plain love (co-star: gallen lo, eddie cheung)
- Cherished Moments (co star: Leon Lai)
- The Feud of the Two Brothers (co-star : Alex man, etc.)
- Flame of Fury
- The Price of Growing Up (co-star : Alex man)
- secret of the heart
etc.

She is so compatible with Leon Lai. I think they have best on-screen chemistry.

She's also in the HSDS1994 (Taiwanese version)

erh..not really..cz she seldom act nowadays..do anyone of you know what she has been doing now?cz i miss her acting...i like plain love...where she acts with gallen lo..and i hope someone will post many of her photos here..she is so pretty..oh yah..i heard ppl claiming that her eyes have reached minus 1000 ..and she's wearing contact lens....that she cannot see really well without the spes...and that is also the reason why her eyes are abit not proportional..is that true?

really? I never knew it was Niki Cho's older sister. I guess if you think about it they do look like siblings...
I like Cathy, she's such a good actress and so beautiful. I wonder what she is doing now? I hardly ever see her around... when I do hear about her she just does modeling I think.

Yep Cathy Chow - Is Chow Hoi Mei she use to be a TVB actress!!!! She starred in many of TVB 's top series back in the late 80's and early 90's -

Is there 2 Cathy Chow??

I only know one:
-She is Cathy Chow MAN KEI
-She is Niki Chow Lai Kei's older sister.
-She is a professional model in HK
-She is a writer too, I wacthed t´TVB's programm, HK this minute, and they interviewed Cathy Chow MAN KEI, and they spoke about her writing career, I heard something that she has already one book and it's about weddings.

I thought it was suppose to be Kathy Chow and not Cathy Chow, but either way I loved her series back then. Leon Lai played a couple with Kathy Chow in a couple of series. My favorite was Breaking Point.

Please stop confusing yourselves with Chow Man Kei and Chow Hoi Mei. The pictures that were posted were all Chow Man Kei's but this thread is supposed to be Chow Hoi Mei's.
I also noticed that Niki Chow looks more like Chow Hoi Mei rather than her real sister Chow Man Kei.

I love the 'breaking point'... Leon & Kathys on screen chemistry was FANTASTIC! it's a really old series..but it's sooooooooooo good!!

I haven't heard any news about Cathy in a while. I just watched Secret of the Heart and she was pretty good in it. It's too bad what happened to her character.

The girl with Felix is the real Kathy Chow that is discussed in this forum (at least i think it is). The other pictures are pics of another Kathy Chow that is Niki's sister.
So much confusion has occured just because there are 2 people of the same name....must we type the full name everytime...

Can you believe Chow Hoi-Mei is 38 years old this year (2005)? Like fine wine, she certainly got a lot better with age.

In 1988's TVB Series "Looking Back In Anger", she was so 80's with those shoulder pads. 22 years old at the time, it was definitely a very new and green Chow Hoi-Mei.

In 1998's "Cheap Killers", she was thinner, sexier, and looked nothing like her 32 years. Her portrayal of a trashy, wanton lover is one of the most copied and cliched "token" characters ever.

While she certainly has fallen out of favor in recent years, she certainly acted with the best. Her performance in "Looking Back in Anger" was up to par with co-stars Carina Lau, Felix Wong, and Deric Wan. I think its a tragedy that she isn't more in the public eye as an actress.

I would love to see Chow Hoi-Mei another series with the all-time greats: Carina Lau, Felix Wong, Michael Miu, Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, and other A-listers of the time.

I think Kathy Chow acted for ATV for a while after she left TVB. Then she went to China & Twaian for a while. But she is still an actress. I think she has two new series with ATV. One of them is "Asian Heroes" & the other one is ????<--not too sure what's it's called. But both of those two series were 2000 and beyond.

It was my fault to make everybody to get confused of between 周 海 媚 Kathy Chow and 周汶錡 Cathy Chow (Niki Chow's older sister) name
