I just love to go to Ikea to look at the furniture and maybe pretend it's like my house.

I like all the rooms/furniture there but they are expensive/over priced.

LOVE Ikea.

Love their organization/storage items. Furniture wise, not sturdy but if you need a couple of simple but stylish pieces they fill the bill and cost a fraction of other brands such as CB2. As long as you don't furnish your entire house with it, it should be OK.

Ikea's whole idea is based on cheap materials and cheap products, with good design, aiming that you'll re-do your deco every few years. This means the furniture is not of good quality. There is no point in buying tables and sofas that won't last for multiple years. They also save money by making you put the furniture together instead of selling it to you all done already, and where as I love fixing things up and doing just that, the problem is Ikea does not give you the needed tools to do this. They often are missing some screws and what not as well, and the furniture ends up being wonky because it's cheaply made. Buying tableware, decorations and fabrics from Ikea must be great since they have unique ideas, but going for the big stuff is just foolish. In short, I hate Ikea, it's a fishy company.

Ikea's always fun to visit, but I usually just go there to pick up small items. I prefer higher end furniture although some of their lines are quite nice.
