September 11th, 2005 – Ko Soo's new drama: Marry a Millionaire

Ko Soo and Kim Hyun Joo will lead the weekend drama “Marry a Millionaire ” (Original titile: Joe Millionaire) scheduled to be aired by SBS from November 26th ( 9:45 PM-10:45 PM, Korean time) following the final episode of “Lovers in Prague”. The drama gets the idea from the reality show “Joe Millionaire” aired in the States. Ko Soo plays the role Kim Young Hoon who works as a normal food delivery man. Oneday, he is invited to pretend to be a millionaire appearing on a TV show and woos women by his good-looking appearance. He will have various appointments with different seven ladies in the show. The lady who is picked by him would get large amount of reward. Kim Hyun Joo plays the role Han Eun Young who is not pretty and works as a clerk in a bank. One day, she accidentally participates in the TV show and is picked by Young Hoon who happens to be her first love. Although Young Hoon’s secret and true identity is disclosed afterwards, he and Eun Young still fall in love. The filming location of the first few episodes will be at Bordeaux, France

11/14/05 – On 11/14, Go Soo, Kim Hyun Joo, Son Tae Young, and Yoon Sang Hyun (고수, 김현주, 손태영, 윤상현) attend the press conference of the weekend drama “Marry a Millionaire (백만장자와 결혼하기)” held at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel. The drama is scheduled to be aired by SBS in 11/26 following the final episode of “Lover in Prague”.

The drama gets the idea from the reality show “Joe Millionaire” aired in the States. Go Soo plays the role Kim Young Hoon (김영훈) who pretends to be a millionaire appearing on a TV show and woos women by his good-looking appearance. KHJ plays the role Han Eun Young (한은영) who is not pretty and works as a clerk in a bank. One day, she accidentally participates in the TV show and is picked by Young Hoon. Son Tae Young plays the role Jung Soo Min (정수민) who is a movie star and is the daughter of the owner of a broadcasting company. She and the roles played by KHJ and GS form triangle love relationship. She states, “This rich daughter role is quite different from those roles that I played before.” About 20 days of filming will take place in Bordeaux and Paris of France.

The first episode just aired today ^^ it's pretty good so far... looking forward for another episode tomorrow... it ended at a cliffhanger grrrr ... at first I thought Go Soo wasn't that great... but after watching it, I thought that he was so cute^^ his personality is so sweet...

I love the scenery they shot in France, the casts were okay. I am in episode 10 now, this drama doesn't have any hype , the flow of the show was very slow pace.

But, it still enjoyable if you like love story drama.

if you are free, then you can try it. doesn't hurt though.

Ko Soo Looks hot in this series and also Kim Ki Bum is here he is so cute... The plot seems interesting and the lead girl is the one with Vanness Wu in the movie Star Runner so if she This will be the first i saw her play in a series so it must be interesting

This drama was very cute. It seemed somewhat fairytale like, but realistic. I didn't think it would be too good because i heard some reviews about it earlier. I only got interested in it because it had Kim Hyun Joo and I only saw her in Glass Slippers. But this drama surprised me. It was not only about love, but hardwork. I loved how Ko Soo eventually built his way back up again to become a suceeding actor again. I loved the scenes where Ko soo and Kim Hyun Joo went on dates. This drama actually did NOT feel draggy and I'm so glad it didn't. Overall.. it's not one of my favorite dramas, but it's pretty nice to watch.

Hi Jaye? Have u decided to watch this drama?
If you havent, I recommend u to watch it....it's very nice. (Nevermind if its too slow paced.)

The story in this drama is cute, simple,sweet & very touching .... especially Go Soo's character as Young Hoon. He's so adorable.
I din really like Eun Young's character (played by Kim Hyun Joo) in the beginning cos she's too naive .... but I kinda like her, in the end.

The tracks on this O.S.T. is very nice.

From the scale of 1 to 10, I'd give u my rating of 10 because Go Soo played very well in this character.
U might want to try the OST. It is already out in Malaysia market.
