That song is originally Korean and if you look at the credit for Nicholas Teo's "Ming Bai" you will see a Korean name credited for the song.

awww Nicholas didn't smile in his yearbook picture! That's what I love most about him, his dreamy smile. I think I came across the picture of 微笑 Pasta at least 60 times before I decided to watch it. Every time I saw the picture, I thought the guy on the cover was Rain. I found it odd because I saw Cyndi Wang, and I knew she was a Taiwanese artist. So, I thought it was a Korean drama with a Taiwanese actress or vice-versa. Eventually I gave the series a try and now I can't get enough of it. Every time I see Nicholas smile, I automatically smile. Someone asked me, "If you had a chance to have dinner with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?", and the first name that pop into my head was Nicholas. haha... Anyways, I still don't know much about Nicholas, since I was introduced to him about a week and a half ago. He lives and mainly works in Malaysia right? He is only in Taiwan to promote/film 微笑 Pasta? I hope he comes to the U.S, especially Los Angeles. I would love to meet/see him live!

CrushedDreamz, Nicholas is based in Taiwan as a singer. He branched out into acting and got his first major debut as an actor in a drama ie. Smile Pasta. SP is a Taiwanese production and he frequently returns to Malaysia for promotional work or other activities.

The 3rd Generation is our local movie production and the other cast are all Malaysians too. For some reasons, this movie is not available in our stores.

Totally agree with you as his smile is undeniably infectious.

I think he redid all the MV once he launched in Taiwan because I have seen different MVs for a few of his song from the 1st Album. For example, for the song Dang Ni Gu Dan Ni Hui Xiang Zhi Shi the first MV I saw was a group of students playing instruments and bumping into each other while the other one is him meeting a girl and helping her move in and falling for her only to find out that she is his teacher. I like the 2nd version of his MV better.

I did not get it from yesasia but if you get the gai ban version then it should include the extra because it is package together. You should get the music CD with all the songs, a DVD with 4 MVs (1.彩虹的微笑 2.北極星的眼淚 3.黃昏曉 4.小烏龜) and 20 minutes video clip of segments from Smile Pasta, a booklet (I think it is a Love Story) and 2 Pasta Pins (like the ones some people in Smile Pasta sports on their apron).

A really cool picture. I also noticed Nicholas tend to stuff his hands into his pockets most of the time. So it's not easy to find pics with Cyndi and him holding hands together. She could only hold on to his arm.

Does anyone know when this picture was taken? Was it closer to the beginning of the series or later one? The reason I ask is that Cyndi does not look very comfortable with Nicholas. Her smile looks a little forced and her arm the way it is angled make it look like she keeping her distance. The picture is nice but I think there not too much chemistry in it or it could just be me.

I guess that's just the way she wants to smile. Not really that forced and quite natural. Maybe she just doesn't want to be overly expressive.

yea, you may be right. Actually I always have this feeling that she doesn't feel comfortable with him (because I haven't seen her other dramas so I can't tell). Even in articles, during the previews of the filming of kissing scenes or so.., it is noticeable.

I think it was earlier in the series... I think they seem to have better chemistry now. I read somewhere that Cyndi doesn't want rumors or something. It's also maybe 'cause celebrities have to take pictures a lot and to be actually genuinely smiling all the time is hard, isn't it? '

As of now, I think Nic's currently in Malaysia, for some relax time. Cos one of my frens spotted him in KL the other day, shopping. Apparently, some of her frens tried to go to Nic, but she stopped them, not wanting to drag attention to the exhausted guy. XD

Hope he really IS in KL! I then Wwill get a chance to see him Real Live, though I don't wana go up to him, I'm quite sure he's fed up with the fangirls hankering after him when he just wants a simple day of shopping.
