When I was in Guangzhou, they had this triangle thing with beef or chicken and it had rice in it.

It was okay though, but interesting lol.

has anyone seen super size me? it's a documentary with this guy who goes on a McD's diet for 28 days. the change is phenomenal. his body before was perfectly healthy after a medical check up, but he gained a lot of weight, his blood pressure was berserk, etc. go watch it.

Hindus don't eat beef.

The interesting thing is that beef oil is used to fry the fries in Canada. Hindus still eat without knowing it.

McD's in Canada has about the same menu in Aussie.

I remember this one well. I believe this documentary was inspired by a real case wherein a woman was suing McDonald's for her obesity. The doctors and nutritionists said that fast food intake should be limited to once a month to never. I don't think I could ever give up McDonald's entirely, but I'm extremely careful of it now.

My friend was telling me about her trip to Singapore. She absolutely adored the cuisine, but after a week of eating out, she opted for McDonald's. Apparently, she had a hard time picking up the accent. In turn, they can't understand her when she's placing her orders. At least there wouldn't be so much confusion when she says Big Mac or Mcspaghetti. :D

I guess there will be different menus catered for different countries?
like for my country, it has now turned to a more healthy menu.
We do not have Quarter pounders but we have Big Mac to substitute. We eat in relatively small portions, so i guess Quarter Pounder must be rather big?
We have the Mc Spicy Chicken though.

I wish we have more choices for breakfast and salads.

We don't have the deli option here in our country (philippines) but we do have other menu items that are not in yours.

Like for breakfast, we have ham and cheese omelette and longanisa meal (native sausage),

We also have a mcspaghetti and burger Mcdo, its like the simplest burger just the meat patty, dressing and 2 buns. We do have the rice burger here and we also have Taro pie.

I usually like the foods in other McDonalds like I love the HK stuff but omg I cannot stand their apple pie. First of all, it ain't a pie (though arguably the ones in north america aren't either...) it's an empanada! And I really hate the cripsy crust, ugh.

Well, the McDonald's in Malaysia has the quarter pounder, but no double quarter pounder. And erm, we also have double cheeseburger, cheeseburger, mcchicken, big mac, fillet-o-fish, spicy beef foldover, grilled chicken foldover, chicken mcnuggets, ayam goreng mcd (which translates into fried chicken basically) and my absolute favourite.......... spicy chicken mcdeluxe!! That one is yum yum. :thumbsup Oh, we have the banana pie too. It's so much better than the so-called apple pie.
But recently, the mcdonald's over here has this nutritional fact sheet that tells you how much calories there are in their burgers... which made me a little hesitant to frequent mcdonald's as much as i used to previously.

Wtf, no quarter pounders in Singapore? That's insane.

Even more insane than me going to an NYC Maccas branch to find out they had THIRD pounders.

Mcdonald's here is pretty same here. Nothing much different of what you just counted on that liste. But I think I remember that the McD in Hong Kong and Beijing were different...some were serving rice meals.... And in Beijing..almost only the "richer" people seems to be eating there...the other choose the noodles and ramen outdoors ^_^'

McDonalds are different in various countries. They cater to people's taste in each country. Even the US, different parts of the country have different menu items. I did not know about this until now. I thought everything was the same for Mickey D's in the US.

United States - In New England, they have the lobster roll sandwiches aka the McLobster...wow, so original, not. In the South, they have the Cajun McChicken and Southern Style Chicken Sandwich. In Hawaii, they have spam with eggs and white rice as breakfast items. And you can have pineapple added to your burgers.

Korea - They have the Bulgogi burger. Not to forget the Shrimp Burger which Lotte Burger has as well. Pat bingsoo or in MCs called McBingsoo for dessert.

Greece - They have the Greek Mac, basically burgers without buns but replaced with pita bread.

Germany - They serve beer on their menu. This thus proves Germans love to drink alcohol anytime of the day at any place even fast food joints.

Mc D in UK is very boring
they have the same thing that they repackaged it and called it something else every few months... usually its just fried chicken fillet with white/brown bread and sauce and its called sweet chilli deli, or beef fillet with a bacon and cheese and they call it some posh name .. like oriental barbeque beef??? they are very similar to the original mcchicken and big mac... only with maybe a different type of bread (rather than burger) or a piece of bacon and they call it soemthing new??
they also serve spring rolls now.

While in Japan, I went into a McD's just for fun and to look at the menu. I don't remember everything on it, but I did see a shrimp-burger (with cheese!).

Here in in the southern US, we sometimes have a dulce de leche (extra sweet caramel) sundae and shake at McD's.

Different MacDonald at various world sell different product. The menu are create to customize the local people taste. I know MacDonald HK serve congee but you won't see it in American's menu.

wow~~ surprised with the variety of menu of Mc. Donalds..

The one in Indonesia is a total contrast to all asian countries..

In Indonesia, the main thing that is sold in McD is Fried chicken! Not like others, most are burgers..
In Indonesia, they sell Fried Chicken with rice, French Fries, Cheese Burger and Double Cheese Burger, Beef Burger and Double Beef Burger, Fish Fillet, Spicy Chicken Burger, Big Mac, and Gourmet Warp ! Here in Indonesia, they even have congee! and they sell spaghetti too..

I think the menus are costumized according to the country's favourites :)

McDonald's restaurants not only offer different menus by country, but also by region. I live in the US and there are various menus in different states.

In Malaysia, there is fried chicken, either spicy or non spicy, chicken porridge, Mc Egg.For breakfast, their sausage muffin is chicken which is awesome unlike here in Australia, they are beef patties and so I can't eat them here. In the Phillippines, they sell spaghetti and also pork bits, something very Filipino i reckon.

In China the Mcdonald are pretty close to ours but there a few stuff we can't get, like there have added a few rice dishes and more veg. dishes. Mcdonalds try to create there meun for the local areas, so for sure it will be different compare to other Mcdonalds in other countries.
