hi i came by to check if this is true... is Qiao En still part of 7F??? cos i was watching the CNY specials then 7F was only QQ, WR, XJ... while almost all of the J-stars were present... was she absent cos she was busy filming or something? or is it really cos she's no longer part of 7F??? cos then my relative who was watching the show together said he heard something on the radio on how 7F used to be 7 and now left 3... then i said no lah left 4, then he said yeah there were 4 but the radio recently said tt 1 left... is it really Qiao En???

i saw the show that you were talkinga bout (the one where xq wr and xj were present and she wasnt) i think it was because of filming. in the other specials, she was still with j-stars =)

If it is true, I will definitely faint. QE's done so much for 7F.. how can she leave? And 7F's popularity is mainly because of her....

I'll still support her too, but I really doubt she left. If she did it'd be GIGANTIC news around the thread... I'll go check right now.

EDIT: Her blog is still on the j-star website.. I doubt she left.

*sotong*, I also was wondering that... he was complimenting her on her hosting skills and telling her to cover for WQYL (at this point, I was like, :shocked:, as well as super-happy... because, actually, I don't think any of the 7F have ever "dai ban" (subbed in as hosts) for WQYL before). Don't know if he LIKES her any better now, but I think it's safe to say that he has to treat her just slightly better. JCQE i know you told us not to be shocked about the pics for CAT ad... i tried to prepare myself BUT OMG!!! i think they really over done it especially the one where she is in the black dress... the make up around her eyes makes her look really tired and down... scary! why doesnt MD have to have these weird pics...? i think they can most probably seell a lot more watches IF they can sort of imagine themselves wearing it with on outfit they are likely to have but with QE's clothes in the AD its a bit hard to imagine.... i think they should just let QE be herself in the ads..... oh and looking at her old pics... she has really grown prettier ..... but i she looks good during ASQJMM too.....

her advertisement makeup might not be right for the real QE but keep in mind that she isn't trying to portray herself, she's trying to portray different doll like images that might appeal to the masses to get the watches to sell. I see nothing wrong with that. It's a part of the job and to me, its refreshing to see QE be able to portray something totally out of her zone and amazingly different from her real to life image. I like the fact that she is so willing to be openminded in the industry. She might be very conservative but she understands that in the entertainment world, its not all about her. How other people respond to her isn't much of an issue since she did not come up with the concept of how to advertise the watches. If they don't agree then oh well...its not QE's problem and its not so much our (the fans) problems. All we do is support her.

Everytime she goes for something different and out of the box I can't help but feel a keen sense of accomplishment and proudness on her behalf. JiaYou QE!

i don't know if u guys are a big fan of fashion magazines...but those kinds of make up has a matching theme...its really not a strange theme...it might seem a little bit peculiar but its a normal fashion statement...if i were to judge by this, i think they were tryin to portray a manikin type of look...i usually see those themes on Vogue models...but it doesn'l look bad on QE...she looks rather stunningly gorgeous

couldn't have said it any better myself! Hasn't anyone ever heard of high fashion Haute-Couture? If one hasnt I recommend the he or she go look it up before saying something negative about how makeup is put on.

hahaha I agree that Qiaoen is so cute in the boyish new year clothing and so pretty in the second pic as well. I think she would be the perfect candidate for a modern version or another similiar version of the popular movie "The Lovers" once portrayed by Joey Yueng and Nick whatshisname...in the early 90's.

I have to say... of course I've heard of couture... heck, one of the only American TV shows I watch any more is Project Runway... but I've always HATED it. I just don't understand why they want to make models look so strange. I'm always for natural-looking beauty and even dislike it when girls have fake tans or hair that doesn't match their face (because it's been dyed too many times or something like that). BUT, with that being said, this is only my personal preference... and actually, I CAN see why they would want to put QE into that...
1. Target Audience... I am not sure about Taiwan, but I know the Japanese are just crazy about couture fashion (among other types). They DO like this type of look, and I know it appeals to a lot of American women as well because it's different and considered very high-end. That may just be the target audience CAT wants, anyway.
2. The Taiwanese really put an emphasis on cute girls... heck, even "super"model darling Lin ZhiLing makes tons of cutesy faces for the camera whenever she can, even though she's in her thirties. Regardless of whether or not we like it, this type of couture look really makes QE stand out. And if she's successful, I think it opens a lot of doors for her.

regarding QE being frozen in the past, well cherry27 got most of the story right. I am not sure if QE has been with another management before but she is the first girl signed into Junigery(so my guess is jstar was her only management since jstar has established 6 yrs ago). She first started w/ a traveling show and she really was scared since it was her first time out of the country. I am not sure which came first: shooting lavender or hosting w/ jacky wu. Well i think she shot lavender and she loved acting, but she didnt get any jobs after that. Luckily, she got to host w/ jacky wu which should of been a good chance for her to shine if she took it seriously. However she hated hosting so after work everyday she went to party to solve her depression. And she was actually frozen cuz one day she partied till 5 in the morning and had work at 7 so she smelled like alcohol and the reporters caught her sleeping which looks like she passed out.


For the ad, I agree with tammiest for natural beauty is the prettiest. I like the pics but I always wonder why models always have to look different and uniques.

The only news for QE is that she will probably film another Hua Shi drama this year. No news from SETTV though. And definitely no news about her going to China to film a drama.

Yes, the series with XieZhi was actually cancelled awhile ago... I am, however, positive that QE will have a new series soon, if not with XZ than with someone else. She's so talented ... I'm positive people are going to get her as the Supporting Actress or the Main Leading role.
