ALL 183club members have left J-Star.
PS : in an interview sometime in 2008, mingdao expressed his wish to stage a 183club anniversary concert in the future .. and now that all the guys has left J-Star and SunDeRong's approval not needed
It would be so good to see 183club again! .. not to come out to compete with anyone but just to reminiscent good old days. Jacky and Ehlo are the best vocals! the other 3 are the best backdrop!

Ming Dao is signed with someone, but I don't know who. He has allegedly taken a cut in salary to star in a SETTV drama with Rainie Yang. His thread is very active and usuallu has all the details. Johnny Yan apparently went back to his basketball coaching and playing career and I think he has also done some sportscasting--I saw him once n CNN Taiwan.
Jacky Zhu Fan Gang made a comeback n Dec 2008. He was signed with Tangerine, but recently I heard he and Joanne Zeng had signed with a new? company called Oneness. He featured prominently in Jin Qu Shao Ji Xing, Season 1, and he is back as a guest performer in Season 2, in which his brother James is also a contestant. He has said he is sorry for the past over and over again, often singing the song Yuan Liang Wo, that Jam Hsiao made famous, Jacky also has a supporting role in the drama Rookies' Diary, currently airing.

Wait, I thought the one who's taking the cut and is in a drama with Rainie is Wu Zun? OR is that something new? 'Cause Ming Dao's currently filming with Cheryl Yang and Chris Wu.
And sorry if I'm getting everyone confused because I'm just trying to sort this out.

Thanks for clarifying it. And he's popular so I'm not surprised that he has a lot work coming his way.
I can't wait to see Ehlo coming back to the scene though.

credit above photo with thanks
thanks 2mingenfan for the update. nice to see all 5 together again ! It looks like they are keeping in touch with each other all these while. nice
a brief translations of clip and news :
All 5 members of 183club were seen having a Japanese dinner a few days ago. When journalist from Apple Daily asked them to stop for a photo together, the guys refused. And when asked whether 183club is making a comeback collaboration, Mingdao replied "why are you guys so crazy"? and someone was heard saying "don't tell them anything"
lolzzzz !
The news is also saying that Wang ShaoWei's bakery business is making a loss by a few TWDmillions and he appeared bored and not quite want to talk and it was also said that Ehlo Huang stood far behind when the guys were pooling their money together to pay the bills and he finally took out TW100 to help chip in.

I'd love to see some kind of reunion act. There is still so much nostalgia over them as an act and they still have so many fans who remember them so fondly that I think a short, one-off renunion gig could be successful.
Why not get James Zhu (Chu) to write a new single for them? Dream on, right?
I'd heard that Sam Wang was doing well with his bakery cafes. He opened a third one fairly recently...
