Alex Fong held an autograph signing yesterday in Causeway Bay and seemed to have a little bit of a croaky voice when he spoke. It turns out that he has had a throat infection and says: "I have had an infection twice in two months, but I don't plan to have an operation because it will mean I cannot speak for a week and that would kill me." Alex will soon be heading out to Athens to cover the Olympic Games and host the opening ceremony/ When asked if he was worried about fluffing his lines, he laughed: "I am more worried about the shot cutting back to me suddenly and I am picking my nose, that would be terrible!"

Jessica Hsuan joined Alex Fong (Lik San), Chan Kai Tai and Flora Chan in a promotional event for this years Legislative Council elections and the organisers of the event had arranged for three parachutists to help with the activities as they landed in Victoria Harbour. As the event took place around noon and the sun shone directly overhead, the guests were forced to stand in the heat and sunlight for about half an hour, leaving them sweating buckets. Afterwards, Jessica immediately ran into the tent to rest a while because she said that the sun had left her a little dizzy.
Jessica has just returned to Hong Kong from America, where she attended her cousin's wedding and had a vacation. She reveals that she caught the bride's bouquet at the wedding and everyone immediately cheered. Jessica says that this is the second time that she has caught a wedding bouquet and this time many friends and relatives asked her when she would be getting married. Later, she will be attending another cousin's wedding in Australia and the reporters laughed that if she receives the bouquet again, then it is definitely time for her to get married.
Alex was very curious about the three parachutists and often looked around inquisitively. He would like to try parachuting as well as bungee jumping, but he has not yet had the opportunity. He laughs that although he has never tried these exhilarating activities, he still feels he is quite a brave person. Alex also says that he has seen the reports about Stephy Tang giving her first screen kiss to Sam Mei, laughing that as she they are from the same company, he will pay particular attention. He says that he has worked many times with the Cookies girls as well as Rain Li, but he has not had much chance to work with other female artistes. When asked if he was jealous about the news surrounding his rumoured girlfriend, he jokes: "What it to do with me, I can't get jealous after every time someone has a kiss!"

Alex Fong was at a promotion yesterday and he seemed rather subdued as he explained that he has had a throat infection that has affected her voice and this is not better, so he had been to see a doctor that morning who told him that the infection had passed, but there is still a little swelling. He says: "The doctor asked me if I was feeling under a lot of pressure, but I am not really that stressed, just that the effect on my voice is affecting my mood."
Alex had been recording the theme tune for his series "Treasure in the Family", but because of the infection, the quality of his voice was affected. Luckily producer Mark Lui understood and did not reprimand him. Alex says with resignation that in order to get better sooner, he is combining Chinese with Western medicine and taking seven tablets a day. When asked if he has requested his company to cut down on his work, so he can get some rest, Alex says that as well as filming, he has to prepare for the Olympic Games coverage, so there is little time for him to rest at the moment. Later, he will be heading out to Athens, so he hopes he does not need to sing then.
With Kelly Chen also suffering from a throat infection, has Alex offered her any tips to overcome it? He believes that many artistes work late into the night and this can lead to infections easily, for singers in particular, this can be a real problem.

Alex Fong (Lik San) will be heading out to Athens on the 11th to host the TVB coverage of this year's Olympic Games and due to the threat of terrorism there, his family have taken out an insurance policy for him and instructed him not to go out at night and stay with Asian people to avoid being targeted by terrorists.
Alex himself is not too worried about safety matters, feeling his mother is overly nervous. As the security arrangements this year are the most expensive to date, Alex and the TVB crew will be staying in the top security press village, so there is little to worry about. He will also be taking his precious soft toy bear 'Bobo' with him that was given to him by his mother, laughing that Bobo often sleeps with him and is soaked with his smell.
Whilst working abroad, Alex will be avoiding any gossip by keeping his door open whenever a female visitor arrives at his room and will never be in a room on his own with a lady.

... err. i wished that i went..... the thing at the end where he sings with an audince was cute
