F.T. Island To Concentrate on Studying

Nope, these boys are not concentrating on school studies but music studies!

From last year’s 15th of December, F.T. Island has started their first national concert tour entitled “First Island”. These boys have been round and about Seoul, MaSan, UlSan, DaeJeon, GwangJu, and 10 other places, holding concerts up till March. After their final GwangJu concert on the 15th of March, they will hold a concert in Malaysia.

At the end of March or start of April, the boys are planning on heading to Japan for 3-4 months to study Japanese and to learn Japanese music (Japan is famous for their band culture and there will be many things for FTI to learn). F.T. Island also plans to release their 2nd album during Autumn this year.

After winning the “Best New Artist” and “Popularity Award” in 2007’s MKMF, “Best New Artist” in Asia Song Festival, “Best New Artist” in the 17th Seoul Gayo Daesang, “Best New Artist” and “Popularity Award” in the 2007 Golden Disk Awards and other numerous awards, they said “Last year was the ‘Start’. To present our music, it has become a new start. Until our 2nd album is released, until the we show the colors of our music, we we will work hard and not forget our goals.” and “We hope that the fans won’t forget us even if we go to Japan, our hearts are always with the local (Korean) fans.”

I guess we can all give them the assurance that the fans won’t forget them and will be waiting for their comeback soon!

anti-fans are normal all celebs have antis basically antis are jealous of their popularity probably because they dont have such talents as the boys have.
i heard about that rumor, a member of fti got a girl pregnant in soompi it was posted there before they said the ft island member in the rumor is Hongki,but i dont believe it. Dont believe it!
another reason why ft-i has antis is bcoz of another rumor that Hongki posted in his personal blog hurtful things about tvxq & suju thats how it all started but hongki proved it wrong hongki's blog was hacked & someone else posted those things to ruin hongki & ft island.
There was also a rumor that Ft-I were stealing fans from other celebs thats why they have antis i mean its not their fault if a celebs fans decided to support ft-i its up to the person who she/he wanted to support.

i am sorry but that convo with your friend is hilarious. all artists have anti fans no matter how many real fans they have, thats a fact. Its hard to go to school when ur an artist but its not alot of younger idols now a days do it. Big Bang;s Top Oppa is in college while their mangnae Seung Ri is finishing highschool. The Wonder Girls are all in school now except for Sun Ye cuz she couldnt get into college. SNSD"s girls are in school too... noticable Yoona who is finishing her highschool year. Yonna and Seung ri are both born in 90 so their the same age as Won/Jong/Hong, actually seung ri is younger but still the point is if those two can go to school while performing then i am sure the FT boys can do the same :whsitle

JJ : FTIsland is Five Treasure Island and we are 5 treasures for all fans!!

Seed : What did you do in the auditions?
HK : I auditioned for vocal position..
WB : We all auditioned for our own positions~~

Seed : So, before you came to auditions, you all played those instrument?
MH : Well, before auditions we could play just a little bit.. but performing after we debuted made us practice more and more!!

Seed : Before you debut.. What have you done?
WB : Before the first album we didn't have much free to,e because of daily practice.. But! it made us more confident...

Seed : How do you feel about this album?
JJ : Nothing ~ Just 'happy' that we have first album.. By the way, I ran around my garden that day!!!

WB : First, we didn't know each other.. When we first met.. Nobody talked!! But when we got to work together, that made our relationship grown~~

JJ : Before I tell you about the concept.. I want you to know what our album is about and I want fans to know how different Korean bands are...

Seed : What is your favorite song?
HK : I love Han Sa Ram Mun [Only One Person].. because of the lyric!
MH : Mine probably would be Chot Kis Seu [First Kiss].. because I never have first kiss before!!

JJ : Well, I was kind of lonely at first because I thought nobody would know who we are.. But when we got there.. Fans surprised me with the cake!!
