Hi, i was wondering does anyone have nice j-rock hairstyle pictures for girls? But not like the really FULL ON style? Cause im going to cut my hair soon and i want a j-rock look! hehe

Could someone post pictures or maybe a site? Or even some people with j-rcok hair on myspace?

Ayumu from Zwei. It doesn't really scream J-rock at first glance, but it is cool, especially if it's jet black with bright highlights in red or blue. My Internet connection is acting up so I can't get pictures, but you only need to Google for Ayumu or Zwei and you'll find pictures for sure

I cut my own hair, based on the visual-kei hair style but I just improvise as I go...

Hmm.. I *really* love Hiroto's hair from Alice Nine.

Please, don't get any hairstyles that requires too much spiking though, as it is a VERY big hassle, and looks very lame when you leave it down. >_< [My friend tried to get hair like Cloud, and it looked like an animal was stuck on his head, when he didn't style it]



The hair looks spiky, but those parts are actually very short. The hair is layered loads so it's very light and thin too.. Not too much maintenence, I don't think, but imo, the hair wouldn't look as nice without dyed highlights. :]

ummm yeahh the thing about j-rock style is that you would have to dye your hair and highlight it. you don't have to dye your hair with crazy colors. But dying and highlighting your hair with the jrock cut would look best. That's my opinion. But it also depends on the cut like Hiroto's hair wouldn't look good if it wasn't dyed same as the one you posted up.

Then there is this cut which looks good if you don't dye your hair and keep it black like Miyavi's



It's the same cut but just dyed full out. See it looks good either way with this cut. :D


This cut is only good if its layered a lot. You can tell its layered a lot. and it does look good. I'm not too sure how it would look if your hair wasn't thinned out. =/ And you see that Jui's hair is dyed and highlighted for this cut, its so you're able to see the type of style. But it wouldn't look bad if the color was kept to the natural color.

i'm being lazy and I'm not going to through more hair styles. sorry. >.< but just to let you know most jrock styles will need coloring and layering and thinning a lot.

And I know from looking at it XDD You can see hahahas. :] And yeah, I agree, the hair wouldn't look good without highlights.

Well i was thinking of using BreathOfLife89 picture. Well you see im a girl and i've got long hair and i don't want to chop most of it off, SOOO im planning to get that picture on top of my hair and then layer the rest of my bottom hair! I might dye it! I'll have to see still because i dont really want to.

ARGH not much people like j-rock do they at AF? I was thinking to get a honkie style like what my cousin likes, but there's no body whose got a good hairstyle! I don't want wavy hair or something! I like more of the full on layer hair and everything LOL! A lot of hairstyle for girls are pretty typical such as

1. side fridge
2. boofy hair
3. layered

Like im really over that trend, i like something fresh and cool looking! Hairstyles that not many people will have!
