I haven't started watching this series yet, I just watched a preview clipof this series yesterday and this series doesn't llok very intertesting to me. So I was trying to ask your guys opinion on this series. Do you guys think this series is worth watching? Yes or no.

DEFINATELY WORTH WATCHING!! (well.. as of now it is.)
This drama is so much better than a lot of dramas released this year.. I swear.. those series like life art, drive of life, the brink of law, heavenly in laws, etc etc are a complete waste of your time, becuase the story is either un-interesting, draggy plots

This series has just released,and right now its at ep 6. The storyline should be really refreshing to you, because i don't think tvb has ever produced any series like this before. While a lot of tvb series are similar to one another, like where you find a rich father having another wife outside but dumped her and their children and after many years, they reconcile, but the rich father's other wife and family reject it..and OF COURSE there's a conflict built into the story.. Its like you DEFINATELY get that a lot from so many tvb series!!
So far, this drama is funny, the jokes are quite hilarous and everyone is so good with their role..

YOU DEFINATELY SHOULD WATCH THIS WEEK EPISODES!! the drama is short, so it shouldn't take you too much time to finish it.

Think about series like heart of greed where the series is like 40 epsidoes and half of the plot is talking about stupid, ridiculous relationships!! I really don't like the series because of the unnecessary, and sloppy incoherent storyline.

And you get Drive of Life where the story is even more dull and boring, driving viewers in HK to sleep!!

If you like dayo wong zi wa and you enjoyed watching in TCTU, i say watch this drama too!

This series is worth watching!
Actually I don't quite bother to go for movies/series about Wong Fei Hung or sth related to it!!!
But after watching the 1st 5 epis, I found it rather interesting......the characters are well played like Dayo, Cecilia, Ben & Dominic.
The plots are different too.....just like having "villain Kin" to be the main character not really Wong Fei Hung!
There're many funny & hilarious scenes/conversations that make you laugh so much! BUT there're scenes that're so touching that make you cry so much!
No harm to watch a few series to try out!!!!

I think this is worth watching, I found the first 2 eps to be not very interesting but then the storyline really picks up and now I'm more interested in this series than TUCF.

I'm watching this series and the humor is so 'slack'. Well, with Dayo Wong starring it was expected. Its not really appealing and I am surprise with the ratings which it is equal to Ultimate Crime Fighter which in my my opinion Crime Fighter is better. I also just read a reporting about Men Don't Cry and Crime Fighter which both have received complaints. I mean, 'too violent'? 'the language is coarse?' There are some many movies which are 3 times worse than what the series have broad casted.

Anyway, if you are a Dayo and Wong Fei Hung fan you would love it and if you don't like 'slack humor' skipping it would not be a lost.

in my opinon i find that this series has MUCH better humour than a lot of what you called 'comedy' series , when they are not even funny one bit.. like i don't know how many of you like the drama war of in laws..because personally.. i only found the series to be average..it has a good storyline...but as for humour.. i didnt' even laugh one bit because most of the time everyone in teh show was just too sarcastic and exaggerated espeically liza and myolie, who do nothing but contort their facial expressions and scream at each other.

I have friends that watched this drama after me and they said the same things too.

How is the humour in the series 'slack'???! i guess you just don't understand their dialogues in teh series.. cause most of their humour is found in their conversation, and not like in facial expressions or certain events, funny sitations/accidents taking place in teh series.

dayo is such a great comedian! i agree that he would be next in line right after stephen chow for comedians. I know for sure that some or most of the humour used in this drama are dayo's ideas.. he changed the dialogues around to make the drama more witty and funny

You should watch if you are a fan of Dayo (he really is the one carrying the whole show) or you want to see an indepth and different perspective about the rebellious ah Kin, but don't expect the same type of comedy, wits, and cast chemistry as To Catch the Uncatchable though. There are also a few moments that seem like dark comedy in my opinion. The romance part is only so-so.

Aside from Dicey Business, Men Don't Cry is the best series I've seen all year!!!! ITS SO GOOD! Must see it!!
