I still don't understand why people call Jiro vain. Honestly, I don't. I think "very self-conscious" is a better way to describe him. Being "vain" includes arrogance, and I don't think Jiro has a conceited bone in his hot body.

I actually think Calvin is the most self-conscious member in the group, and there is alarming proof.

No, it's the makeup artist.
I personally think that the reason Jiro is CURRENTLY using a lot of makeup is to try to hide how tired he is. I think... that he shouldn't do that. I mean, if he's tired.. I want to know he's tired. Jiro's being overworked! No other explanation I can think up of..

And that's what I mean too. In some pictures, the eyeliner is waaay over used. They're so obvious in some pictures, like in FRH's photo album? That's a good example where Jiro's makeup level is a bit heavy.

I love Jiro. But I don't think he can sing. His singing voice doesn't bother me. It's just that I have no feelings when I hear him sing. When I hear Arron's voice, I feel relaxed. But let's not talk about that right now. In my group of friends, all of them like Chun. Personally, I prefer Jiro over him (but Chun fans, don't get me wrong, the degrees of fondness that I have for FRH vary from member to member). Jiro's smile is contagious. I like how when he smiles, he looks like a little kid who's really happy about something. And he's gone through so many hardships - the loss of his father, working on a construction site, getting into showbiz, taking care of his mother. He's so hardworking that I seem to hear about him getting sick all the time. I respect him as an idol.

As for how he overacts - I believe that he does that on screen to keep the audience entertained. From the shows that I've seen, I can tell that he's really into his job and that if the time requires it, he would be willing to act silly just to make the audience laugh. So yes, he is professional.

Maybe those who think that Jiro is too comical and overacts...or, in other words, just like Jin Xiu Yi - they should really get away from his dramas and watch the variety shows that feature him. I think that would give them a better understanding of Jiro.

IMO , i don't think that jiro can't sing . i think in fahrenheit he may not be the best , but he's not the worst . ( not that anyone in fahrenheit is bad at singing ) buttt , i think that jiro has a special, unique voice . a voice that not a lot of many other people has && that's why i think his voice is soo special <3

idk about other people , but when i watch the entertainment shows with fahrenheit , i'd be so bored if all of them were just not overreacting . i think jiro livens up the whole show with his humor & overreactness && i know that he's only doing it for those who are watching cuhz he wants to entertain us <3 and that's soo cute butt , i read somewhere that jiro isn't always like how we see him on those shows . he can be serious when he needs to && very caring :]

How can anyone dislike Jiro, seriously? =/ His acting skills are good, and his singing, though not the best, but improving and not so nasal-ish now. Think before you say he likes to steal the spotlight. He is a person who tends to get really high during performances and sometimes tends to do some big actions. And people call him attention seeker =/. They usually think that Jiro is JinXiuYi, onscreen and offscreen. But NO. Fahrenheit members said that Jiro has the biggest difference onstage, and off. It was originally a prank, right. But Jiro was supposed to hit the book on Hebe's feet, not her head! :shocked: That's what got people into thinking something about Jiro.

But this is minor. People mainly say that Jiro's someone who wants all the fame. So not true. He's lived withWuZun taking over as the male lead, has he not? And Jiro's hardly ever arrogant.

I didn't even know that was Jiro when I first watched the clip. I didn't have much feeling about it (not because I didn't care about Hebe), but I felt that he was just doing this as a trick. I didn't even realise whether he was asked to slam the book on her head or her feet.

But then, I used to be such a huge Jiro+Hebe shipper...

I think very few people actually watched that clip? I mean, it was quite long ago and Jiro was hardly famous that time. People would probably think less of what he did back then.

Actually, I feel that the more you stay away and don't watch an artist and get into them as much, the more flaws and imperfections you can find in them. Of course I still like Jiro, but there are things that are NOTICED when you don't have the time to pay attention to them as much.

I used to like Jiro's singing the best in FRH, but now that I realize it, I only liked it best after the TXF OST solo he had. I admit that Zai Shui Yi Fang was his song, and only a few ppl can sing it that well, BUT his singing can obviously do with a lot of improvement. I note that since TXF OST --> Shuang Mian Fei Lun Hai he hasn't improved at all. I highly doubt my hig hexpectations that I had in Jiro as a singer now. =(

Acting, of course, he's just perfect =P

I love jiro! haha..and nothing anyone say can change my opinion about him! he's so filial and persistent and hard working...and yeah, there are so many people out there who are like that...but what can you expect for us to say. I mean, a lot of people if you ask them why they like the other person, immediately they'll say "He/she's nice". There is not one quality that only applies to ONLY ONE SINGLE PERSON ON EARTH...so it's acceptable to love Jiro as the filial and hard working son he is!

There's always some unspeakable quality that draws people to other people, but since that quality is a little abstract...I guess we can only use words that we are limitted to to describe our loveable Jiro!

I get what you mean. From what I've observed, Jiro's 'vanity' is quite alright in my opinion. It's good enough that he is innocuous in getting attention, and not doing harmful things. Well, I could think of worse artists who do that.

Personally, I have a view on why he somehow acts a little attention-seeking. If I'm not mistaken, Jiro has been in the industry for a longer time than the other three of Fahrenheit members. I remember he was there already when F.I.R. released one of their MVs (I think it's Fly Away). That was quite a long time back then. However, after he debuted with Fahrenheit, the rest of the members, especially Wu Zun, boosted to fame so immensely. I'm not trying to imply that Jiro is jealous of Wu Zun or what, but sometimes a tiny pang of envy must have been there. Jiro spent such a long time and hard work in bringing up himself and his popularity rises in a slower rate than Wu Zun's. It probably could explain why he might want a little more attention to himself.

Or else, Jiro is just like that all his life. That's just how his personality is.

I don't think that Jiro is an attention seeker at all. It's just how he expresses himself, it's not something intentional. He knows how to play around and joke and be jolly....that's why I never get bored watching him.

In my opinion, even if Jiro doesn't do anything, he always stands out to me. In real life, his characters in dramas and himself are pretty different. He is pretty sweet and, at times, mature when he has to be.
