I think you can take out Cecilia Cheung because she professed before that she is a Buddhist.

Louis Cheung, Hins Cheung and Kay Tse are Christians too. I have a feeling that Ivana Wong is one too, but not really sure. I really didn't know that Zac is a Christian too!

Raymond isn't a christian.

He learnt in a christian school (Saint Paul primary school), but he isn't. This school has christian and non-christian.

Sammul Chan is.

Her parents are Christians but she is a free thinker. I assume so because she always take part in the praying ceremony.

Ivana is a Christian, I'm positive, cuz she spoke at my church a couple times before.

Wow, she talked in your church? What did she talk about?

Yer thanks, I saw it too, it was so sweet and Susie So Sze Wong thanked the Lord on the night aswell.
I'm sure Eric Suen is to as he said he said in an interview that he has recently become Christian.
Also, Edison Chen has become Christian recently.

BTW, does anyone know where I can read some testimonies in English/ watch some testimonies in Canto? I've read Leanne's recently, it's so good, I recommend it!

Oh, and can anyone name some of the people in this video, I recognise alot of them but can't name them in English!

I'm sad to see many Christians who take part in the blessing ceremony and act as a monk or pray to idols. I was wondering if money really mean that much.....

Kwong Wa, is he the one who acted as the monk in Journey to the West? I wondered if he was a Christian before he was in JthW or after?

Yeap it's him!
He wasn't a Christian yet. But he was very curious about religion then. Years later, he got some health problems, and then he became a Christian. Watched it from a Christian HK documentary..

I'm sure Eric Suen is to as he said he said in an interview that he has recently become Christian.

Yeah, Eric Suen is definitely Christian. He participated in a religious movie recently.

I think Kenny Wong's Christian too..
And tvb-maniac, don't you mean by Sharon Chan ;)?

I'm glad to see so many HK Christian artistes :thumbsup

This list made me happy that a lot of artists are Christian :)

Yer, sure is! The other day my mum told me that it's not only christians that participate in Regious/ Evangalistic movies, some non-christian artists do aswell (but they are very kind because thaey don't get much if any money).

Therefore, I'm not to sure if Tracy yip and Selena Li is a Christian.

I dont' think there is anything wrong. What you believe in your heart wouldn't matter what you did. THey were just acting, nothing to heart and no harm done. If they acted a role where they burned the church.. then maybe. that is a lil wrong

No offence to tvb_maniac or anyone, but I'm just very very curious. I'm assuming that the starter of this thread must be a Christian? (I'm just guessing, because - generally speaking, a non-Christian probably wouldn't have the interest to find out on Christian artistes.. right?)

I'm making a list of Christian HK idols, please help.

So I just thought I'd point out something that I find rather... ironic.. :P

LOL... Idols? I have to say... it's funny that the word "idols" should come into a thread relating to Christianity. For God said:

"You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below." - Exodus 20:4 (NIV)

:P

LOL... Okay okay.. I'm just kidding... I know what you mean. idols = celebs, artistes, whatever.. not the idols that you pray to. But like I said, I'm just pointing out the irony of it, just for fun. No offence to anyone... but you get my point, don't you? :)

Huh? Every Catholic I've ever met/known (and yes, that includes more than one person) has considered him- or herself to be Christian.

(Darn it, no way to edit posts?) I wanted to add that maybe it's cultural, like Catholics in one country considering themselves Christian while those in another country don't? Anyway, in my experience, Catholicism has been considered a branch of Christianity--I had replied to your original post because those I know would actually be insulted to be told they weren't Christian.

Generally, Christians are considered born-again Christians and there are thousands of other sects like Protestants, Lutherans, Angelicans, Evangelicalists, etc.
The term Christian is the general term in the old days, but Roman Catholics have separated themselves from all the other sects theologically.
I think it's never official but many Catholics including myself do not like to be called Christians. Basically, all Catholics can be Christians.
Not all Christians are Catholic.
