This movie wasn't too great. It was somewhat funny, but overall it was dissappointing. The plot was just nowhere to be found and it ended in a such a cliche manner.

this movie was great i totally watched it again and few other times without being bored...like usually for a movie after i watch it once the second time wouldnt be that great but for this movie...it always gives a funny essence and catch to still be good and entertaining

i loved this movie... i thought that ekin & charlene made such a cute couple in it despite the age difference. i really loved when charlene came in the restaurant with the 30's outfit and when she told ekin to hold her tighter when she was cold during her fever - i thought that was so sweet. i'm a sucker for romantic comedies so this movie did it for me

wow, i've not caught this movie yet.
but lot of my friends who did gave good comments on it,
and they said that it was really funny and a great laugh,
and although i can't really see the chemistry between ekin and charlene,
everyone says they still managed to create a good chemistry together in the end.
i so can't wait to catch this!

i've finally caught this movie (off youtube though)!
i must say that it is hilarious!
charlene was so wacky and hyped in the movie,
really adorable!
i didn't like the pairing of ekin with charlene,
but he acted out his 40-yet-naive character really well though!
i think the quality of the movie is really low,
cause the camera do shake a little and it's quite dark,
but then it was 2002 and charlene didn't get to act in huge hits,
so i must say her acting skills was really impressive for a girl her age at that time!

lol, i just realised that it's quite funny that ekin is married to Yo Yo Mun (charlene's character) in this movie,
and right now he's currently dating Yo Yo Mung (i think she's an actress or singer, i'm not sure),
the names are the same, hahas!

A good movie. I have it for sale on DVD for $10 shipped if anyone is interested. I thought Ekin was good b/ to my surprise that sa was great also. A love comedy where age is not put into play, love was based on different beliefs and standards. Cheers

this movie is pretty good and funny too.
i watch it over a couple of times.
the part i like the most is where ah sa kick the dude into the sea and the part where she played the two guys, one skinny and one fat guy.
i would say this is a must see show if u a fans of ekin or the twins.

I feel like this movie has too many similarities with the korean movie My Little Bride. They both came out around the same time so I don't know who copied who but I prefer the korean version much more. My Little Bride had a very sweet ending. On the other hand, I feel that the ending for My Wife is 18 was extremely weird how Charlene appeared in Ekin's interview resulting in Ekin achieving a pass in his master.

I thought this movie was alright, well at least it's not as bad as some other chinese movies I've seen. You need to consider the revenue they use to produce a movie like this, they don't use hundreds of millions like hollywood productions because the HK film industries doesn't have such money to buy all those advanced technology. That's why I think this movie wasn't that bad, the acting wasn't horrible.

i didnt really get into this film even dol i like ekin most of ekin's films (bad choice for him i'd say) all was very predictable, very typical love films. More of a girlie film!

Haha, I just watched this film last night ! ( It is in my planning for watch all movies of Charlene Choi (after watch all movies of Kelly Chen)) ! That's great !
This is 3rd time I see Ekin Cheng and Charlene Choi act in love together (in this film and "Leave Me Alone (2004)" they're husband - wife, and in "Protégé de la Rose Noire (2004)", they are a couple lover) ! hmmm... Although they have a distance of age, but it also make some special points, Ekin is really a adult, formal, and serious man and Ah Sa is a young girl, lovely, funny and fank - I like them ! then they support together and make a perfect couple (according my opinion)
more than everything, I like Charlene.................................and love Hong kong film....
