Let's see, perhaps Chun feeling down because he can't seem to reach the stamina required to enter an athletic competition (let's say it's quite big and prestigious), then Ella comes along and introduces her secret ingredient, which is the Shu Pao drink. Chun was quite skeptical until Ella shows the power of drinking Shu Pao (she's quite talented and athletic as it is). Chun, now full of admiration for her, obeys her like he doesn't others and drinks Shu Pao. It works wonders and Chun finally gets to enter and win the competition. It turns out that Ella was a guardian angel who was there to make sure Chun realizes his dream. They celebrate together, not realizing one another's chemistry, until their gazes locked. The commercial ends with a flairing Shu Pao kiss! I'm sure the real Shu Pao of CE (if there should ever be one) would not be so corny, but one can always dream right?

i slept at 1 am just reviewing the 6 clips posted on the Suh Pao event. As i have pointed out somewhere out there, the 2:38-2:39 (during the time that ella was saying "kind-hearted') of part 3 (youtube) would make one question Chun's cheeky smile (like, I-know-something-that-you-don't- know kind of smile). i sport the same smile when someone i know is telling a lie to a group of people. hehehehe. the girls' interpretation is highly probably right that it could mean that he's the boyfriend that is why he was smiling that way. if you are a CE fan and you are doubting their special bond, all you have to do is go watch this clip and hold on it with your dear heart.

aye, i remember something about showbizness. there are ads that require the model to be single or married while their contract with commercials are active. if not, that would be considered as breach of contract. this was true for toyota and the family of pops fernandez and martin nievera here in the Philippines. they have been separated for two years prior to publicly announcing the dissolution of their marriage but because the toyota ad is about families, they kept it a secret for a time. i bet that Chun and Ella face similar restrictions in their ads -- that they can't be seen to be in a relationship or else there will endorsements pull- out.

i can't approximate the strength of Ella-Chun rumor but let's just take AF as a statistic of the sample -- which affirms that CE following is strong. With Chun as the hottest property in the biz who has already signed contracts that see him as single and available, managers are doing all their might to quash all rumors related to CE. showbiz involves a lot of money and mouths to feed, so in order to get cash coming in, they have to keep Chun unattached.

Why there is no restriction for Ella? For one, Ella has a loyal following. Fans will love her no matter what. Chun, on other hand, competes with age. The older he gets, the lesser the probability that fans would hold on to him. There would always be fresher faces in the market. Moreover and sadly, Ella is a woman. no worries, everyone, remember apply daily is reputed to be quite on the rickety side of the road when it comes to reporting things accurately. well, they like to distort and spice things up a bit, so do take it with a grain of salt yeah? it'll probably be 50% accurate and 50% distorted by those darn reporters : using my niggling power of deduction and the way CE have been acting around one another, I can safely say that it is chunnie we're talking about. even the stupid reporter was insinuating it was chunnie, LOL. it all fits in like a puzzle. chunnie and ella get along with one another so well, chunnie's popularity skyrocketed after hana kimi, chunnie's fanbase, and ella's need to protect him...everything just fits, you know. the only thing I'd disagree with, and I have my own proofs based on past observations and being a huge fan of ella's for quite a while now, that they are likely still together (if they're already together). remember, they're still in the showbiz, they're definitely at the pinnacle of their fame right now, and any changes to that dynamic would most likely collapse chunnie's fame like there's no tomorrow. ella's safe, since her fanbase if pretty much solid. taking this into consideration, even if they're dating underground (secretively), I don't think they'd divulge it any time soon. so, my luvs, like I mentioned before, let's just enjoy the ride while we're at it, k?

guys... since when did Ella say that they broke up 4 months before? Lol~ If they broke up 4 months before, confirm, guarantee plus chop, it's Chun already~ don't even need to think.

Anyway, here's my opinion:

My first reaction when reading this news is, omg, does this mean that CE were really together before? So doesn't it mean that everything we see down here for the past few years have been correct?

And then i continued, reading, and felt so sad for Ella for her needing to go through this. However, when they talked about the break up part, i felt that even if it's real, the both of them should have already reconciled, just that Ella won't say it. I mean, imagine if she say it in this article, the media will be on their hounds already.

And besides, if they haven't reconciled, we wouldn't be seeing all these few months of blissfulness. Even the blind would be able to feel that thing between the both of them!

Therefore, i think that maybe they did break up before, but this is just one chapter of their story. And if this report is really true, then i really feel that supporting CE all these years have been worth it.

Because, even if they broke up, I'm confident that they will get together again because there has to be something to explain regarding Chun's behaviour right? That love sick look on his face whenever Ella is around has to account for something.

It's either they're together, or, if based on this article, the might come to an agreement regarding something to their relationship, thus, their interactions~

Yeah, this is just my POV. hahah~ I'm not really affected much honestly. I would worry if it's really Jerry Huang that she is talking about. Because in the article, she said that she would give up anyone to get back together with him, and based on history with her, it just doesn't make sense to forgo someone like Chun for Jerry.

If anything, this article just made me sad that CE has to go through all these, especially Ella, and what we have been saying with regarding to having a relationship in this industry have been right all along...

I'm taking this article with a huge lump of salt. This is apple daily we're talking about. I just feel that history's repeating itself. This time last year Chun was in the midst of filming, Ella accidentally let a few things slip and the next day she's in a relationship with DJ. I just don't see why Ella would simply volunteer personal information like this without the encouragement of maybe her management company. One has to be blind not to see the attraction between her and Chun at the Supao event. They look like a couple. However, I do believe that at one point of their relationship, they did breakup and it was probably initated by Ella because she was trying to protect his career. It doesn't make sense that it's Jerry. His career is over and done with whereas Chun is just rising. Whatever it may be, I believe that they're together now. Ella still wants to protect Chun's career thus she says they broke up. I think Chun now is more aggressive than he was before. We see this in the supao event where Ella wants to give off the vibe of only friends while Chun does his best (shocking even Ella at times) that they're a couple.
