As for Turbulent Times, I don't think there's any official confirmation just yet, I've been looking all over as you could imagine, with help from fellow fans but we found nothing up to this moment That little paragraph from Raymond Lam's interview with Shanghai TV is the only thing we're going by for now... But I'm crossing my fingers!

Hi everyone,

Gallen has been attended quite a number of functions on and off CCTV following the conclusion of Lady Wang in Exile. The series, though being criticized for not strictly adhere to the history of Lady Wang, has been praised on the choice of the male lead. And who is it? :dance Our Gallen of course, His Chanyu has earned him quite a lot of well-deserved recognition. In fact, a report from baidu, the equivalent of Google in China, last week (8/14/2006) had Gallen in its top ten most-searched. Ppl have been talking about his role in Lady, and even said it's his latest breakthough, following Tsui Ka Lup and Yip Wing Tim. Cool huh?

Gallen Lo in New China Series with Flora Chan
Gallen Lo Ka Leung is currently filming new mainland series "Wolf Smoke" 《狼烟》. Other cast members include Flora Chan Wai San, Yi Nan Ching, To Yu Lo etc. The series will be 26 episodes and centers around the Chinese military. The script is written by renown military novelist, Wang Wei (known for his work "DA Teacher") and produced jointly by the Jiangsu TV station and the Nanjing Military Command department.

At the press conference for "Wolf Smoke," Gallen expressed his excitement in playing a military leader in ther series. He will try to grasp the innermost feelings of a military figure and play it in an honorable manner.

Since his series "Cold Blood Warm Heart" and "At a Threshold of an Era," Gallen has been known as TV's #1 Brother and the King of TV. Gallen said he never expected to play the role of a military figure and said as a Hong Kong actor, he is honored to have this opportunity.

In 2003, "the DA Teacher" opened the market demand for creative works centered about military themes. It created a brand-new military concept of a digitized army which did not exist at the time. "Wolf Smoke" will focus on national defense and the construction of the armed forces, offering a refreshing perspective for viewers.

The success of "Heart of Greed"《溏心風暴》made TVB understand that audiences cherish actors with real acting ability. No wonder the "King of TV," Gallen Lo Ka Leung was hotly pursued by both TVB and ATV to star in their series!

Gallen was moved by TVB's sincerity and will film new series, "When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat" 《當狗愛上貓》with Myolie Wu, Margie Tsang Wah Sin, and Lui Fong in August.

Last year, TVB re-broadcast Gallen's classic series, "At the Threshold of an Era" and "Golden Faith," causing over 10,000 viewers to have "panda eyes" by staying up late at night to watch the series. After the series were broadcast, many viewers savored Gallen's acting. No wonder netizens voted Gallen as the winner in "The Actor I Want to Return to TVB the Most" poll!

Gallen was in Yangzhou earlier to promote his series, "Wolf Smoke" 《狼煙》. After attending the promotional event, he seized the opportunity to tour Shouxi Lake and a temple.

Following the local customs, he prayed at a temple and used coins to make a wish. Perhaps Gallen's wish was to make a thunderous comeback at TVB?

Gallen laughed, "It was not easy to stand the coins straight up on the table, since the surface was not level. I had to try several times before succeeding. I made a wish, but I can not reveal what it is, otherwise it will not come true!"

"I ate Yangzhou fried rice while here. It's delicious! The taste is different than how it is prepared in Hong Kong."

In Gallen's upcoming TVB series, "When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat," he will be playing an advertising agent. Gallen declined ATV's offer and decided to return to TVB to film instead. Lui Fong will act as a dog trainer.

"The important factors are a good plot and the right timing. You can not make all the money in the world; there is no need to rush."

Gallen Lo: "TVB is My Home"
Allegedly, ATV tried to actively recruit Gallen Lo Ka Leung to film a series for them. However, Gallen revealed that he already signed a contract with TVB to film an additional 10 episodes. Gallen's salary was also increased.
Under his old contract, Gallen still had 10 episodes remaining to be filmed with TVB. Thus, Gallen will be filming a new 20 episode series with Myolie Wu Hang Yee; the series will be about dogs and cats.

Once Gallen's contract with TVB ends, will he be going to rival ATV? Gallen said, "I will leave that decision to my manager. However, I have always regarded TVB as my home."

Regarding Michael Tao Dai Yu and Sonija Kwok Sin Lei's recent negative rumors, Gallen said he did not contact them.

Gallen Lo & Margie Tsang Film "When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat"
Gallen Lo Ka Leung, Lui Fong, and Margie Tsang Wah Sin were filming for TVB's new series, "When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat" 《當狗愛上貓》. Acting as a married couple in the series, Margie and Lui Fong filmed inside a pet store yesterday.

In one scene, Margie held a cake before a dog. The dog barked loudly, as if he wanted to eat the cat. Margie was frightened and a crew member had to take the dog away. Margie quickly ran outside the store afterwards.

Margie explained, "I'm not afraid of dogs. I fear roaches the most. I was frightened by a roach inside the store, thus I quickly ran for the door."

"When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat" is Gallen's first series after a 4 year hiatus from TVB. He will be playing an advertising executive in the series.

Gallen mentioned that he owned a cat when he was 10 years old. "My son and I both have nasal allergies to cats and dogs. In our home, we only have 3 pet turtles."

Gallen's contract with TVB will be over after filming "When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat." Was he planning on quickly moving over to ATV afterwards? Gallen said, "No, I accepted this role due to the right timing."

Since Gallen’s wife, Fong Man Yee, resigned from her management position at I-Cable, she became a stay-at-home mother to take care of their son. Mrs. Lo was spotted in casual clothing last week. She smiled warmly at reporters. Apparently, she enjoys being a stay-at-home mother.

Since Gallen was branded as the #1 Brother in the past, ATV must have offered him an attractive fee. ATV executive, Ho Ding Kwan, actively recruited Gallen. There were rumors that ATV offered to sign Gallen Lo Ka Leung with a multi-million dollar contract and position him as their Number #1 Brother.

In an interview yesterday, Gallen admitted that discussions were may not be finalized until 2009.

Many years ago, Gallen's career received a jump start through the assistance of former TVB executive, Ho Ding Kwan. Mr. Ho recently joined ATV and has been actively recruiting former TVB artists. Was Gallen considering joining ATV in order to repay his gratitude towards Mr. Ho?

Gallen said, "I will let my managing company, Media Asia, decide. I have a good relationship with TVB. It is not a problem not to sign a contract with them. Stephen Chan invited me to film for TVB whenever a suitable script comes up."

"My career is currently focused in China. My filming schedule will be occupied until 2009."

Gallen did not directly respond to whether he has been discussing contract details with Mr. Ho. Gallen laughed, "It is fine to meet with Mr. Ho for yumcha. But I will leave work matters to Media Asia. I will only consider the offer if there is a good script."

Regarding the rumors that ATV offered Gallen a multi-million dollar contract, he laughed, "It is just a numbers game. A 'multi-million' dollar contract is more eye-catching. In the past, there were also rumors that TVB offered me a multi-million dollar deal as well!"

在演技方面，郭富城生硬、鄭伊健扮冷漠扮得有點假，外人不知的話，還會以為他們是新人。同樣是演了這麼多年戲的羅嘉良，一字一句、每一個眼神動作都格外有力，雖然角色與《創世紀》的葉榮添都是亦正亦邪、有情有義，但相對來說，沒有了葉榮添那種刻意和浮誇，至少沒有聲嘶力竭的大吵大鬧。如果這位無線一哥、公仔箱影帝有更多機會的話，憑他的演技要做真正影帝似乎不難。



說起《創世紀》，原來收視亦有七點（有很多人是錄影的，將他們包括在內應該會有十點），比亞視黃金時段還要高，收視率則有九十四個百分點，創了近年凌晨時段重播劇集的高峰。在熱潮之下，有周刊加入《創世紀》每集劇情，亦有網站推出《創世紀》主題曲鈴聲下載（准我留下是一首很不錯的歌，而羅嘉良亦曾是英皇歌手）。羅嘉良自己應該也沒想過，同一時間竟然會有《季節》、《創世紀》和《三岔口》，見證了他三個不同年代的演藝事業。



相信大部分《三岔口》觀眾在羅嘉良出場時都有想過：「嘩，葉榮添啊！」



冷飯變美食－－再看《創世紀》

自從《大長今》熱潮過後，追看電視劇的熱情頓時冷卻下來。不過近來竟有40多萬觀眾每晚凌晨時分追捧《創世紀》──或許你覺得40萬觀眾只是「小數目」，但他們已佔了該時段94%的觀眾！不少周刊更罕有地介紹有關劇情，甚至乎連電話鈴聲網站，亦新增《創世紀》的主題曲和插曲供人下載，一齣重播劇竟有如斯魅力，實不尋常！

一齣爛片？
《創世紀》是無線當年為迎接千禧年來臨而製作的百集長劇，播映期橫跨20世紀至21世紀，希望藉以創造電視史上新里程碑。可惜，收視和口碑卻未盡人意。

90年代後期，無線幾乎每年也會拍一齣以豪門恩怨情仇為主題的劇集：1996年的《天地男兒》、1998年的《天地豪情》，以及1999年的《創世紀》。這3套皆由無線著名監製戚其義主責拍攝，被視為同一系列的「三部曲」故事。電視台寄望《創世紀》能將恩怨情仇類片集發揮到極致，成為這個「三部曲」的完結篇。惜劇情「去得太盡」，反引來觀眾詬病──許文彪奸得太突然、葉榮添我行我素得太不近人性、鬥爭仇殺的暴力場面多得不能接受……結果《創世紀》引來劣評不絕，作為「世紀末重頭戲」，卻僅得平均29點收視的下場！

再看《創世紀》
5年後的今天，觀眾忽然覺得《創世紀》很好看，還抱怨為何電視台不播預告片，讓觀眾為明天的劇情牽腸掛肚。筆者再看此劇，也細味到這齣劇集原來也有突破之處：一般的恩怨情仇劇，主角總是在首17集飽受奸角欺凌，在最後3集才作絕對反擊。雖然仍強調善有善報，但已令觀眾在大部分時間也是憋著烏氣追劇情，看起來心裡自然很不舒服﹙當然這是投入的表現﹚；可是《創世紀》就是因為強調「去盡」，主角葉榮添為達目的也是不惜一切，他拒絕當一個老好人任由奸角欺負，甚至崇尚以惡報惡。忠奸角色惡鬥連場，觀眾自然看得痛快。這解釋了為什麼《創世紀》的鬥爭場面特別多──由商場上互相謀算，以至訴諸暴力互相仇殺等。大家也不用苦等至結局才見到奸角遭殃，看起來倍感興味。

當然，故事的犯駁地方依在，角色塑造和劇情發展上亦確有錯失。《創世紀》首播之不叫座也令無線在近年捨棄這類片集，主力製作一些小品式的劇集。其實90年代後期，電視台幾乎每年也製作一齣這類恩怨情仇劇集，觀眾看慣了，品評能力提高了，對《創世紀》的不善自然不易接受；「停產」數載後重播此劇，卻因為「餓戲」太久，瑕不掩瑜，觀眾自然如獲至寶，蜂擁追捧 ── 筆者雖然不是預言家，但因應本港電視工業「翻炒」和「見好便播到盡」的運作模式，這類恩怨情仇劇集將隨著《創世紀》重播後而陸續有來，你信不信？

第n遍看完了《創世紀》，仍然覺得意猶未盡，每一遍看的側重點不同，感受也不一樣。已經聽到太多朋友、網友有關該劇的評論，無奈筆頭鏽迹斑斑，終於，還是下定決心要寫下點什麽，也算對得起自己把這麽多時間花在這部劇集上。

（一）看《創世紀》的收視差異
現在距離《創世紀Ⅱ》拍竣正好兩年，種種功過得失可以好好評說一番了。一部電視劇好看不好看，觀衆有最大發言權；於是，收視率成爲很重要的參考指標。從收視率看，《創世紀》極富爭議，因爲不同地域的觀衆對該劇做出了截然不同的反映。
《創》劇的觀衆群主要是港、台、大陸三地。《創》劇在香港本地反映最差（其實是平平），平均收視30點左右，大結局也不到40點，但與事先無線傾力打造該劇的期望值相比，這種收視情況應該說非常不理想。作爲99年無線兩部台慶劇之一，它完敗於另一部小投入製作的台慶劇《茶是故鄉濃》。在臺灣，《創世紀》的成績還算不錯。前兩天，TVBS頻道又開始重播，算起來已經是第三遍在臺灣播出了。在兩年時間內，一部劇集以如此高的頻率重播已足以說明其在當地的號召力了。在大陸，《創世紀》則形成了一股洶湧的收視熱潮，舉兩個例子：《創世紀》播出期間，央視網站點擊率平均上升了四成；《創世紀Ⅱ》因種種原因遲遲未能登陸央視期間，央視收到有關詢問信件、電郵30余萬件（有關報道詳見《報刊文摘》第1579期）。
爲何兩岸三地的觀衆對一部電視劇的反映有如此大的分別，我認爲民衆心情的差異是一個主要因素。香港是世界上節奏最快的城市，伴隨著多數香港人的是揮之不去的焦躁、憂慮和巨大的精神壓力，他們最需要的是舒緩和鬆弛。在這種情況下，以商戰爲主線的電視劇想要成功是非常困難的。《創世紀》在大陸的火爆，我個人認爲撇開劇集本身的質素還有一個極爲重要的原因是港劇及其反映的香港社會對觀衆具有新鮮感。由於廣電總局的諸多限制，大陸（除了珠江三角洲等少數地方外）觀衆通過電視臺能夠看到的TVB電視劇甚至遠遠少於日劇、韓劇、台劇和歐美劇。因此，當《創世紀》這樣一部集中體現港劇特色──語言平實、節奏感強、情節緊湊、配樂動聽（這些特色恰恰是大部分其他類劇集所不具備的）的劇集在全國覆蓋最廣的央視播出時，高收視率的取得就順理成章了。其實之前的《天地豪情》已經證明了這一點。有鑒於此，本人預計央視將會引進的下一部港劇是《流金歲月》。

（二）關公戰秦瓊
有句話理性的人一定會贊同：歷史的問題終歸要通過歷史來解答。不同時期的電視劇孰優孰劣恐怕要歷史來評判才公正，不過我們還是樂此不疲地要比較一番。在這裏，我要比較的是《創世紀》以及上世紀90年代TVB的另外三部重頭戲：《大時代》、《天地男兒》、《天地豪情》。

以上四劇的共同點顯而易見：大製作。大製作最突出反映在演員陣容上，老、中、青搭配，既有成名已久的劇壇常青樹，也有新近冒尖的青年偶像；既有家喻戶曉的金牌演員，也有急待上位的小生花旦。
以上四劇均取材廣泛，設計香港社會的方方面面，但情節側重有所不同，我覺得可歸爲兩類：《大時代》和《創世紀》屬於商戰劇，另兩者則是情感劇。爲什麽這麽分？我的理由是看一部電視劇的靈魂。《大時代》的靈魂是丁蟹與方展博的股神之爭，《創世紀》的靈魂是葉榮添和他的無煙城夢想，《天地豪情》的靈魂是卓尚文、程嘉鳴及甘樹生的情感糾葛，《天地男兒》的靈魂是羅子建、張雪凝及徐家立的生死之戀。
在我心目中四部劇集的排名依次是：《創世紀》、《天地豪情》、《天地男兒》、《大時代》，理由很簡單：歷史總體是在不斷前進的。《創世紀》最大的優勢在於它踩在了前幾部劇集的肩膀上。

1．《創世紀》和《大時代》
以股海搏擊爲題材的《大時代》取得了空前的成功，乃至影響到了現實中的股市走勢，很多朋友對此至今仍津津樂道。《創世紀》的社會影響力顯然遠不如《大時代》，但這只能說是時移世易造成的，非戰之過。92年的香港正是經濟和股市處於繁榮頂點之時，市民對股票的迷戀幾近癡狂；99年的香港則正處於金融風暴後的劇烈陣痛之中，市民多懷著的是謹慎和理性。抛開上述時代背景，《大時代》最大的突破在於開了多人物、多線索電視劇的先河。以往在一部電視劇中主要人物都不超過四個，線索也相對單一；《大時代》則至少塑造了丁、方兩家共六個主要人物和三段感情。而發展到《創世紀》，TVB的編導們對於多人物、多線索的處理已經極爲純熟，再加上精良的製作，這都是《大時代》不可同日而語的。

2．《創世紀》和《天地男兒》
喜歡《天地男兒》的觀衆數量應該是四部大製作中最多的，這是因爲它的情感及心理描寫是有史以來最爲細膩的，以至於今天人們還在爲子建到底愛蓉蓉還是愛雪凝多一點而喋喋不休地爭論。同時，《天地男兒》第一次大膽使用年輕（其實撈家並不年輕，僅指扮相而言）、英俊、瀟灑的男藝人出演反派，並對這一角色進行了空前深刻的剖析；當然，最主要的是戚其義挖掘出了羅嘉良，苦熬了十年的羅嘉良厚積薄發，爲觀衆帶來了最令人難忘的反面角色。我現在仍然記得《天地男兒》幾年前第一次在我所居住的城市播放時，單位裏所有女同事都在議論這個男人是誰，怎麽這麽俊，當後來這個男人做出種種令人髮指的行爲時，她們的失望之情是如何溢於言表！正因爲如此，《創世紀》在反派塑造上吸取了《天地男兒》的成功經驗，許文彪、張自力與徐家立相比可謂不遑多讓。由於劇情的側重不同，《創世紀》在愛情描寫方面不如《天地男兒》細膩，但更爲大氣而灑脫。從演員陣容比較的話，現在看兩部劇集差不多；但把兩劇都放在劇集拍攝時看，顯然《創世紀》要超過《天地男兒》。《天地男兒》拍攝時當紅的只有秋官、張智霖、陳松齡三人，撈家、古仔、宣萱都不是當家小生花旦，張可頤則還是二線演員；《創世紀》則彙集了撈家、古仔、陳錦鴻三位當家小生和郭可盈、蔡少芬、陳慧珊共六位當家小生花旦，還有汪阿姐這個鎮台之寶。值得一提的還有兩劇的音樂製作堪稱經典，都留下了數首膾炙人口的歌曲。總體而言，《創世紀》所涵蓋的內容之豐富、思想之深刻是《天地男兒》所無法比擬的，這都是時代進步所帶來的。

3．《創世紀》與《天地豪情》
從《天地豪情》這部劇集中我們既可以看到不少《天地男兒》的拍攝手法，也可以發現頗多《創世紀》的影子。首先，拿孫樺和甘量宏的離離合合來說，就像極了張雪凝和徐家立的恩恩怨怨：面對愛情與正義間的抉擇，孫樺和張雪凝都選擇了犧牲自己毀滅至愛以維護正義；張雪凝和徐家立之間有一個羅子建，而孫樺和甘量宏之間同樣有一個程嘉雄。《創世紀》再次延續了這一手法，三角戀的主人公換成了田甯、張自力和馬志強。其次，三部劇集中第一反派的結局都是死亡，但在他們的死法上動足了功夫，採取了不同的形式。第三，第一男主角都是大團圓結局。三部劇集都採用了類似的手法，唯一的解釋是觀衆更加認可這種手法；儘管常有人說悲劇才會永恒，但誰的內心深處不是在大聲地呼喚著正義和幸福呢？《天地豪情》最大的創新之處在于卓尚文和甘樹生兩人的友情，沒有哪部電視劇能夠如此深刻地剖析一對情敵之間的關係並巧妙加以處理，當然這一切都得益于羅嘉良和黃日華分別代表TVB兩個時代的巨星的傾力演繹。很遺憾，《創世紀》在這一點上沒有深入挖掘下去，只能期待《流金歲月》的創新了。

（三）最令我難忘的三個場景
1．二人秀。在臺灣舉行的無煙城專案投標記者會上，面對閃光燈，步步緊逼的葉榮添和瀕臨絕境的許文彪兩人出人意料地面帶微笑，相互握手致意，隨後你彈我唱，共同爲在場衆人描繪了一幅無煙城的絕妙遠景。攝像師也在此時恰到好處地由下至上給出一個廣角鏡，使葉許兩位地産界青年巨子的氣宇軒昂和躊躇滿志展現得淋漓盡致。看到這裏，所有人不禁會發出感歎：若此二子化敵爲友，雙劍合璧，豈不天下無敵？可事實是兩人絕無可能再走到一起，實在令人唏噓不已。

2．硬幣的故事。爲了挽回日益離力天世紀遠去的無煙城，葉榮添在股市最熱之時將全部身家投入一搏。與旁人不同，他買跌，可是股市一直在升，他偏偏繼續，寧可借債補倉；因爲他相信張自力，他更相信自己的判斷。可是周圍環境給他的壓力實在是太大了，他不知道自己能撐多久，於是他找張自力喝酒。張自力拿出一枚硬幣對葉榮添說："如果你難以決定就仍硬幣吧，人頭堅持，字放棄"。說罷，硬幣脫手而出，緩緩升騰，開始下落。按照老的套路，肯定是硬幣掉下來正好是人頭一面，老天爺要葉榮添堅持下去。然而，意想不到的情況發生了：在硬幣即將落地的一瞬間，一雙有力的手突然將硬幣抄截。"現在還不到抛硬幣的時候"，葉榮添說罷，把硬幣輕輕放下。不管多麽困難，葉榮添就是葉榮添，他永遠要做自己命運的主人。

3．自我之否定。在一次參加長跑的過程中，許文彪對自己過去30年的人生經歷做了一番深刻地反思，他的腦海中浮現出以往的一幕幕。自己一貫正直且有原則，可是命運總是在和自己開玩笑：交往多年的女友TINA嫌貧愛富，離自己而去；最好的兄弟葉榮添在自己最需要幫助的時候逼自己受賄；一直敬仰的師傅竟然也是一個經不起金錢誘惑的僞君子。難道錯不在別人，就錯在我自己的這些原則上？原來過去十幾年來自己只是個死抱信條的傻瓜……想到這裏，許文彪的臉上露出一絲極爲複雜的笑容；而這時，比賽的終點也恰好出現在他眼前。气喘吁吁的他突然間意識到這個終點不正是他一直所堅守的原則嗎？於是，他停下了腳步，回頭走去。一個有爲青年額定轉變就這樣完成了。

（四）《創世紀》人物評
葉榮添──本人是羅嘉良的鐵杆擁躉，下文將對這一角色詳加點評，在此先不贅述。
許文彪──從角色設計看堪與《天地男兒》的徐家立相比，人物內心世界的勾勒極爲細膩，從正派轉爲反派的那段劇情構思令人叫絕。不過本人總覺得有縮水發哥之稱的陳錦鴻演繹這個角色外形和氣質稍顯稚嫩（錦鴻的FANS可別打我J），差些火候，可惜吳鎮宇和吳啓華二位阿哥先後推掉了這個角色。本人較爲推崇吳啓華，要是啓華兄能接這個角色的話，至少會增加兩大看點：一是繼多年前《流氓大亨》中的鍾偉舜後首次擔綱反派，二是繼《冤家宜結不宜解》的成功後與郭可盈再度合作。
張自力──說句老實話，這個角色的編劇實在很糟糕。從《創世紀》中的臺灣小混混到《創世紀Ⅱ》的地産大亨，雖然這個飛躍並非完全不可能，但同一個人前後性格、處事方式反差太大顯得很不合理；人們不禁要問：仇恨的力量真有這麽大嗎？不過，古天樂的表演賦予了張自力太多太多的內涵。一個偉大的人物一生之中最大的期待是有一個同樣偉大的對手，葉榮添是幸運的，他找到了；羅嘉良是幸運的，他也找到了。葉榮添和張自力碰撞出了自丁蟹和方展博之後最燦爛的火花。如果說撈家是無線的"擎天白玉柱"，那古仔就是TVB的"架海紫金梁"。個人認爲，張自力是古仔演技走向成熟的真正標誌。
馬志強──這個角色在絕大多數人眼裏是所有男女主角中最不討好的一個，耳根軟，沒主見，殺父之仇不共戴天，可是他竟然如此輕易得原諒了葉、許二人；在感情上他也是搖擺不定，幾乎是見一個愛一個，穎欣、sandy、雅汶、田寧，他的風流指數可絲毫不亞于葉榮添哪。不過，假如你看過郭晉安在《日月神劍》、《笑看風雲》及《刑事偵緝檔案四》等劇中的表演，再跟這裏的馬志強對比一下，你一定會對他的演技肅然起敬，他對各種特點角色的把握都有自己的獨到之處。
葉榮亨──又一個精心構思的角色，不同於以往任何時裝劇集中的富家子弟。一開始似足了紈絝子弟，但兩個女人和兩個男人改變了他：HELEN使他成長，TINA使他成熟；榮毅使他知道什麽叫虛僞，榮添使他懂得什麽叫真實。TVB真的有化腐朽爲神奇的力量，令我對吳奇隆刮目相看，也打消了我認爲臺灣人演不了港劇的偏見。
岑穎欣──如果有一種女人是所有男人錯過了一定會後悔的，那就是像穎欣一樣的女人；如果說哪個當家花旦能演好這個角色，那只有郭可盈，她渾身散發的女性魅力無人可比。很奇怪，很多朋友喜歡的高婕、美雪並沒有給我留下十分深刻的印象；相反，岑穎欣完全征服了我。每次想起穎欣深情注視榮添的眼神，我心中都會油然而生一種衝動：得女人待己如此，雖死何憾？那是怎樣的一種眼神啊！這種眼神貫穿著《創世紀》的前半部，我甚至敢說在那段時間裏郭可盈是愛著羅嘉良的。正因爲如此，穎欣不能和榮添在一起，是榮添此生最大的遺憾，也是《創世紀》帶給我最大的遺憾。
霍希賢──全劇中最光彩照人的女性，服飾造型設計極爲精致，使陳慧珊成爲《創世紀》火爆內地熒屏的最大受益人，也進一步鞏固了FLORA在觀衆心中第一氣質女星的地位。根據《創世紀》的前半部分看，很多朋友堅持認爲編劇是想讓HELEN和榮添成爲一對，可是由於陳慧珊的意外而使這一設計落空，這也使得FLORA的FANS頓足捶胸，在網上大肆聲討葉榮添；不過我倒認爲FLORA的退出反而幫了她。因爲，HELEN對於男人而言是一個很沒有安全感的女人，而男人和女人一樣需要安全感。舉一個例子：在和葉榮添度過激情一夜後，BARRY扶老太太上出租這麽一個簡單的舉動居然在一瞬間攫取了她的心。如果劇情照上半部繼續發展的話，HELEN的這一個性特徵會表露得日益明顯，也會使觀衆對HELEN有一個更爲客觀的評價：HELEN也並非完美無缺。
田寧──這是一個令所有人都不會滿意的角色，當然ADA的FANS除外。除了與撈家的幾出激情戲給人感覺很真外，蔡少芬好像始終不在狀態。難不成是因爲男友吳奇隆（當時是）在一旁看著，所以放不開？與虛榮的DIANA以及灑脫的JACKIE相比，田甯的星光無疑黯淡了許多。
高美娜──或許是因爲這是一個由於FLORA的意外而臨時增加的角色，編劇略嫌單薄而且前後有些脫節；但這並不妨礙她成爲《創世紀》中我最喜歡的角色。潑辣、率直而絲毫不乏女性的柔美，與穎欣完全不同的個性，可盈演繹得同樣輕鬆自如，其演技由此可見一斑。
彭芷蔚──瞧這名字起的，還是英文名TINA順口些。邵美琪對這個角色的評價可謂一針見血："一個很假的人，可是真實存在的。"聽說監製原本意屬張可頤，如果這樣的話無線最靚的當家花旦就齊聚一部戲，堪稱一道美妙的風景線，可惜張可頤因爲身體原因推掉了這個角色，邵美琪演起這類事業型女性的確得心應手，使人不由回想起她在《第三類法庭》中的韋海怡。因爲不喜歡這種類型的女孩，所以開始時並不關注甚至有點討厭TINA這個角色；可是，幾遍過後，我突然意識到：TINA IS A WOMAN TIM，彭芷蔚是全劇中與葉榮添在各方面最爲接近的女性。既然我能夠接受葉榮添的自私、自大、不擇手段並欣賞他的種種做法，有什麽理由我反感彭芷蔚呢？難道是自己的大男子主義在作祟？於是，我突發奇想：這兩個人拍拖會是一番怎樣的景象？

（五）羅嘉良與葉榮添
看完上面我對《創世紀》中主要角色的評述，肯定有人要亂罵："個個角色都說好，你這人一點個性都沒有。"我不否認這當中有自己對撈家偏好的原因，但我認爲一部劇集如果每個角色都很出色的話，肯定是因爲它有一個靈魂人物，而且這個靈魂人物發揮得尤爲精彩。阿根廷隊有沒有馬拉多納，表現就是不一樣。
葉榮添是《創世紀》之魂，而羅嘉良賦予葉榮添以精髓。我至今仍爲1999年TVB"最受歡迎男主角"旁落他人而耿耿於懷並從此對TVB所頒獎項不屑一顧。葉榮添也許不是撈家演技展現得最淋漓盡致的一個角色（我認爲是鄧炳權），但絕對是最接近撈家內心世界的一個角色。
一個優秀的演員總是在塑造各種不同類型角色的過程中挑戰自我，超越自我，他們可能先後塑造了很多差異很大但都令人難忘的角色。不過我堅持認爲：不同的角色有高下之分。這不是因演技造成，而是個性使然。一個角色成功與否很大程度上取決於演員與所飾角色之間心靈深處溝通的情況，大腕們在這點上做得都很好；於是，當他們遇到一個與自己人生、心路歷程極爲接近的角色時，溝通的效果是驚人的。
葉榮添對於羅嘉良而言就是這樣一個角色。葉榮添年少時家道中落，母患重病，飽嘗人情冷暖；羅嘉良則出身貧寒，姐姐智障，初中畢業便出來養家。葉榮添不久獲得了最初的成功，在商界小試牛刀，躊躇滿志；羅嘉良24歲時獲新秀歌唱比賽季軍，隨後一曲《秦始皇》唱得街知巷聞，初入娛樂圈，意氣風發。隨後葉榮添經歷了17次創業失敗，從浮躁歸於沈著；羅嘉良則10年半紅不黑，從苦悶恢復平靜。終於，葉榮添找到了他真正屬於的事業──房地産，羅嘉良也衝破魔咒大紅大紫。二者何其相似？
外人看來因爲與葉榮添個性相似，所以羅嘉良是信手拈來。殊不知倘若沒有這一段人生閱曆，羅嘉良根本無法準確地把握這樣一個跨度極大、性格極爲複雜的角色。應該說，是人生的起伏鑄造了羅嘉良與葉榮添之間共通的個性，而人生的每一步無不是自己走出來的。
基於這些因素，我不得不遺憾地作出一個斷言：撈家很難再塑造出一個超過甚至達到葉榮添這樣境界的角色。

（六）撈家之花旦配
鄭少秋有趙雅芝，溫兆倫有邵美琪，鄭伊健有陳松齡，歐陽震華有關詠荷，陶大宇有郭可盈，古天樂有宣萱，林保怡有陳慧珊，吳啓華有蔡少芬，林家棟有佘詩曼，別人的熒幕偶像都如天造地設，爲什麽我們撈家的FANS始終在爭論誰跟他最配？
我也百思不得其解，只能先把幾個最有競爭力的花旦列舉出來，再採取排除法：
1．宣萱，《天地男兒》、《流金歲月》。最大優勢：與撈家私交最好，所合作劇集都是大製作；最大問題：已經和古仔最配了，再跟撈家最配，美的你！排除。
2．張可頤，《難兄難弟》、《迷離檔案》、《神探李奇》。最大優勢：合作次數最多，外形最般配；最大問題：張美人屢屢擺架子，讓我們撈家等得頭髮都白了，懲罰一下，排除。
3．陳慧珊，《先生貴性》、《創世紀》。最大優勢：對手戲最爲轟轟烈烈，水底接吻令人心醉；最大問題：相互瞭解不夠，有淪爲一夜情最佳拍擋的危險，排除。
4．郭可盈，《創世紀》。最大優勢：一次合作的時間最長，屬日久生情型，眼神交流懾人心魄，很有夫妻像；最大問題：你也有陶大宇了，儘管分開很久，沒辦法，排除。
5．郭藹明，《孽吻》、《天地豪情》。最大優勢：撈家最癡情的那次讓你趕上了，實在走運；最大問題：外形氣質都不突出，先天條件差了點，也得排除。
這可好，一個都沒剩下，這道單選題可真夠難的。
以上純屬本人一派胡言。仔細想想，原因主要出在撈家身上，他太入戲了。他認爲只有真正地去瞭解對方，愛對方，才能演好自己的角色。這樣做的結果是使他在每部電視劇中的對手戲都顯得那麽真實、自然、精彩，代價則是一次次的緋聞。
無論如何，沒有一個公認的熒幕情侶確實是撈家演藝生涯的一大遺憾；但我們不必強求，因爲又有誰能像撈家一樣和如此多的當家花旦塑造如此多的經典熒幕情侶形象──家立和雪凝，奇哥和寶珠，大頭文和嘉鳴，炳權和思晴，榮添和穎欣呢？

（七）對《創世紀》的幾大非議
首先聲明，這些非議不是我的，而是我搜集的。
1．結局過於倉促。尤其對於張自力，作惡壽命可以再長一些，而且爲什麽非死不可呢？
2．幾段感情歸屬令人不滿。HELEN最終和榮添有緣無份，田甯選擇跟馬志強在一起好像更多是出於責任，小芬爲什麽就不能跟自力有所發展？
3．幹嗎讓郭可盈一人演兩個角色，爲什麽不再設計一個新的角色讓宣萱、張可頤來演？
4．羅嘉良在後半部分怎麽變得一點個性都沒了，與前半部分判若兩人，這是不是太離譜了？
在我看來，上述非議使《創世紀》更完美，使它更有可能躋身經典行列，因爲缺憾本身是一種美。

（八）結束語
是的，至少在我眼中《創世紀》實現了它預期的目標，正如劇名一樣，它開創了一世紀的精彩，爲下世紀的劇集製作樹立了典範。

陳慧珊出演的霍希賢在《開創世紀》前半部分十分活躍，她周旋在羅嘉良、吳奇隆、王敏德三位帥哥之間，感情起起伏伏、賺取了觀眾不少眼淚。陳慧珊承認，霍希賢這個角色雖然也是她擅長飾演的那種白領知識女性，可是由于情感戲所反映的人物復雜心情，使她感覺有點勞累。特別是由于在拍戲期間連續工作，。所以編劇只好按照她的意願拼命改戲，以她離開香港、只和葉榮添保持書信聯係為最終結局。為此，編導只好讓岑穎欣“復活”，讓郭可盈出演其妹高美娜，彌補上這一空當。

　　盡管《開創世紀》后几十集陳慧珊因耳水不平衡病退出，這些天劇中見不到她的身影，但飾演那個為愛受煎熬的女律師霍希賢的陳慧珊卻不能因此不提。此劇中原定只有她是貫穿始終的一號女角，可見她的受歡迎程度。

　　其實，《開創世紀》中善良堅強的霍希賢并非是陳慧珊最有魅力的熒屏形象，相信看過《鑒証實錄》的觀眾們都是從聶寶言開始喜歡她的。而面龐稱不上漂亮的陳慧珊不是以青春美貌取胜，而是憑以往的港星所缺乏的某种成熟、自立的味道，迅速俘獲觀眾的，尤其是她的白領气質，飾演起律師、醫生一類的角色，看起來頗有智慧，頗有些冷漠，卻又剛強可信，因此她的角色總也离不開律師一
類。。
陳慧珊 -我曾經一度很不喜歡李珊珊，就是因爲她在《鑒證實錄》裏，居然和我心愛的聶醫生搶男朋友。陳慧珊的聶醫生，實在是魂牽夢縈的經典，不論是I還是II，兩部的髮型都很合適。她的五官很雋永，如同清淡的水墨畫，屬於越看越有味道的一類，所以簡單大方的髮型無比之適合她~~而相對另類前衛的髮型，就不太貼合，比如去年TVB台慶她的一頭爆炸卷，當然很多至IN的時尚界人士也認爲非常之好，可是我這樣子的平和眼光還是覺得太過了一點。倒是《妙手仁心I》裏面的新月，那個髮型，非常CUTE，合這個人物的感覺。
至於我覺得最遜的，呵呵，是《美味情緣》和所有非現代裝。《美》裏，她留著長長的流海，這撇流海，極其精致的人留著可能非常出挑，但是在她卻削弱了大家對她臉部的注目。當然，她扮演的花枝是個溫柔的人，時常是需要綸著頭髮，有一個非常賢慧的髮型。不過最後一集她化身“滋味”出現的時候，長髮放下來，立在海邊，漂亮許多倍。
我覺得，她是四大花旦裏面最有時尚氣息的一個，長長的眼睛，非常出世華麗，有斜睨衆生的味道。

這是《創世紀》的插曲，是我所聼過的最符合劇集内容的影視歌曲之一，講述的是霍希賢對葉榮添曾經的癡情。小時候癡情女子的故事聼得太多，對此早已麻木，想不到這首歌竟然令我對Helen的癡情難以釋懷。Helen曾經是那麽毫無道理的深愛葉榮添、願意為他做任何事，儘管葉榮天從頭到尾都在傷害她、從來沒有愛過她、甚至一次又一次的利用了她，然而Helen一直無怨無悔，直到葉榮添借她的手殺人…

一直擔憂編劇讓他們經歷了這麽多波折Helen最終會和榮添在一起，哪知他們繞了一個大圈，竟然都回到原點，不知這是悲哀還是無奈…人總是要走到最後才會知道該珍惜誰，相愛容易相處難，在一起的往往不是最愛的那一個…老掉牙的道理，卻是現實的真理…

，葉榮添（羅嘉良）和霍希賢（陳慧珊），兩個人的相處一定雙方都要珍惜，等到有一方離開自己，令對方感覺到那一方重要性的時候，為時已晚。榮添和希賢就是如此。在榮添身邊的時候是不會珍惜的，到暸失去的時候，這樣一對原本可以完美的情侶最終隻能夠是朋友。怪不得聽人說，感情這囬事，除暸FEELING，還有TIMING的配閤。
