collaboration between pinoy and taiwanese actors isn't such a bad idea...
filipino artists are both good-looking and talented, just like the popular taiwanese idols. plus i think it will do the philippine showbiz industry some good, at least they'd be able to import their series in taiwan just like how we patronize theirs...

I hope so, since Philippines is also fond of Taiwanese actors because of their oh-so-cute series. And why not these two nations merge into series? Filipinos and Taiwaneses look good together. That would be a great collaboration. And it's quite okay since Taiwan is the nearest country to Philippines.

If I'm not mistaken, Joe Chen was the first ever taiwanese who made a cameo role in a Philippine series. It's just that I can't remember the title of that show. It's the one wherein Richard Gutierrez had two characters (twins).

I think Toni Gonzaga and Calvin Chen could be a nice pair. Here' a pic of them during Calvin's guesting on Entertainment Live (3-day Romantic Princess Promo Tour 2008).

Bianca Gonzales and Wu Chun, is indeed cute too, right? It's just that Bianca seems to be not interested into acting. Only hosting. Oh well, she does great on that craft.

i hope this can come true but it might be a bit impossible since FTLY is shown in gma and anne is in abs...i hope my queen will come out in abs and then ethan will promote in asap and they will meet each other there (just my wishful thinking....) who knows? anything is possible!!! let's cross our fingers for a future ethan&anne collaboration!

Hahaha! This thread made me remember... During the "Meteor Garden" craze in the Philippines, ABS-CBN had a plan of pairing Jerry Yan and Claudine Barretto in "Marina" but it never pushed through. Now, I wonder why? Could it be that Jerry Yan's too busy or his talent fee's too high?

*i still managed to get an article in the net mentioning about the Jerry-Claudine team-up plans.

"Marina" will run for five seasons (one season has 13 weeks) with a newcomer and probably F4's Jerry Yan among the actress' leading men.

wee. i so agree to this. since a lot of TW series were already broadcasted in the Philippines, why not do a series with the Filipino and TW idols. it'll be exciting. but i think there would be a problem in the medium that'll be used bec. Taiwanese are not that good in english. But I think it'll really be COOL!
