Can anyone tell me some good vietnamese forums that are in english, something similar to this forum, soompi, etc. I try to search on the net for it, but no lucks with it. I mostly find it in vietnamese, such as yeuamnhac.com. Thank in advance.

Thank guys for your help, but i'm looking for something that has viet entertainment, but also their daily lifestyles, etc. SOmething, like this forum for say. giaidieu.net looks like a good one, but all the vietnamese fronts give me a major headaches, so an english one is definitely good. Once again thank you for the response.

Of course, I do use this forum, but then again the more forums I know the better. Futhermore, although many people here are vietnamese (or say I believe), the vietnamese forum here is still not as active as the others.

Do you have any website of any bans in Viet Nam. I got one from MTV which I rally like them. But so many changes happens for them. Some one joined the band and then left. That's change their form so much.

^ This site may not be extremely active, but it's very good. There's always great discussion and debates relating to Vietnamese culture and politics. There's a lot of extreme Vietnamese nationalist there.

IamViet really isn't my type of forum. Seriously, it just a hang for teenager pooper which happens to be Viet.
The reason I like Lac Viet even though it's small is because there members there are quiet smart, especially in Vietnamese Culture politics and debates. And most of the topics are quiet informative.

Even though i really love this site but when i go download movie or something it is in chinese so i dont really know wat they are saying.

maybe u have one view of vietnam when a certain period. But if u come back now lots of have change and moreover people they have change they all become more intresed in money when they speak is money money all is money they have lost their soul, nice and morevoer thei personality of viet.

most sites have ASF direct download... if u want to have the decent quality stuffs, you better subscribe to Usenet where there are a lot of viet stuffs shared there...

I know some other sites where members need to pay for the high quality stuffs.... they claim using to pay for the bandwidth...

For movies/series, better get from Newsgroup: alt.binaries.vcdz ... there are a lot of high quality stuffs posted there...

This thread is pretty old and we're almost end of the year 2007.

I only go to few sites but the Viet, I admit I stop everyday at Vietfiles.org
and it has improved a lot. Nice Viet community if you are looking for Viet friends.

You can see me playing arcade game overthere, reading very informational forum posts, downloading Viet dubbed series, chatting with members and learning French in their french section.
Hope I don't go beyond rules of advertising other site but to reply in some one's looking for viet site which I know. Yes, it's free registration which I like.

they have myspace like profiles, educational stuff and a members gallery. ull like it if you're into networking. mostly college students over there.

oh yeah, and it's pretty new but not too bad for such a new site.

Here is a new viet website/community that's in English. It's really new but it's probably what you're looking for. I think it's similar to this one and soompi but it's for Vietnamese Americans. It has forums, blogs, music, videos, fan clubs and more.

It looks promising , selected arcade, direct links to asian series dubbed or not, some cool HD 720p hard to find there and even radio and upcoming live stream feed. Give it a try, you may check it often.
