Peter Ho's self produced drama "Summer's Bubbles" caught the media's attention on who will be playing the lead characters in the drama. For a first time producer, the pressure is big, he said "I've been having bad dreams for months, I'm worried that I'll disappoint everyone,"

Da S who's recently in the movies, this time she will be once again play the lead role in the drama "Summer's Bubbles". Da S said she read the novel and likes it very much, but before she agreed on this project, she had requested scripts for her to review.

The filming will start in February. They will film in some locations in Taiwan, Japan and Europe. The estimated budget for this project is 60 million Yuan.

it would have been better if lou xi will be dylan, i think he suits the role more than peter..

I just finished watching Butterfly Lovers with Peter as a dopey Liang Shan Bo and it's so weird seeing Peter in a role like this.

exactly, when i was reading the manga, when xiamo showed up, ive thought of shancai.. i could see barbie being in that role again..

i think theyre gonna change them into college students, because the story will still run after 5 years ryt, so i dont think it would matter that much if they'll play college students at the beginning of the story..

wow , the plot sounds very interesting to me and it contains some twists and turns too . Have they already released the specific cast for all characters , I mean , except for the main leading actress will be for Barbie . I found it quite okie falling for adopted brother . I'm excited about this drama & they will be filming in Japan & europe as well. I hope barbie & dylan will hv good chemistry & they will look good or cute tog. As 4 barbie & peter they look cute tog. I also hope they wont be college anymore, but if they will still be a students maybe in just a short time because later on they will be successful in their careers, like Peter is going 2 be a Superstar. I hope that this will be successful b/c this is the first time peter is going 2 produce & besides my Idol barbie is here.

Well, I'm hoping they will alter the ending but, in the book, Xiao Mo ended with Ou Chen and Luo Xi was alone.

Maybe the drama can give us the other way round pairing cuz I Luo Xi!!

I was just thinking if ever barbie, Peter & dylan will be students at first they can just show the scenes as flashback, like they would be remembering there days during college years & the day they fall inlove. Just a thought.

I'm kinda looking forward to see this novel being produced as a drama but at the same time, i'm worried about the cast. I'm not a Peter Ho fan but he's just not right for his character, i'm happy with Dylan and Barbie's character though.
I read the novel and loved it. Hopefully, this won't be a bad drama...
Better to keep my expectations low... since usually remake dramas are just not as good as the original.

Hmm...Just saw some recent reports that the main casting might be changed. Ou Chen's role. As in Dylan may be replaced with another actor. I don't know if this has any hard evidence to back it up but it is rumored so far.

I have just read the news yesterday regarding Dylan & he said that Peter did not confirm 2 him what role he would be playing or if the role was 4 him. I wonder why it was only now he reacted about this & why not from the very first news that came up that he was already included in this tv series. Since barbie & Dylan haven't yet work tog. I wanted the 2 also 2 be paired up & also b/c Peter, barbie & Dylan are good looking people it will be nice 2 wtch them in a love triangle. As 4 Eddie also rumuored 2 be taking the part of Dylan, even thugh i'm not a fan of Dylan I would choose him b/c eddie & barbie already teamed-up in MSCL. Peter, barbie, dylan would be a fresh love triangle. No offense 2 eddie's fans I also find him really cute, charming & he can act as well & I hope If ever Peter offer the role 2 dylan 4 Summer's bubble I hope he accepts it.

A new drama of Barbie. I would prefer that Barbie ends with Peter HO but according to the storyline, it is expected that she ends with dylan. But this story based on a manga could be as interesting as meteor garden.

I'm okay with HXM replacing dylan even though i'm not a fan but i have watch him in "Love of the Condor heroes" but I wasn't able 2 finish it. He's also good looking & I think he visit Taiwan last year & was asked who is the taiwan actress he wants 2 work with & he said " Barbie".
