Helllo bao bei!!

Nowadays our Joe is very busy between Love or Bread promos and the rehearsal for the play... There are some pics of Joe from director Lam blog... Joe seems very serious, but still very happy... even though he has a hectic schedule, he seems to have fun... that's the most important... I'm praying for the best!!

Maytan, thank you for posting the one minute trailor ... there are not so many new scenes ... then again, it seems CTV/GTV wants to keep the suspens until the last day... they dont want to spoil the audience and show us only very few... Usually, they show long preview of the next drama when a drama is ending... but not this time... I guess they think Joe and Ariel's names are enough to get the audience excited... And yes, i cant wait for sunday lol... less than one week left...

Kassy sis, thanks for translating the COLOUR mag article!!! both were attracted to the characters, because their roles here are pretty much what they really are in real life... and it's also new for joe to portray a role such as frank--irresponsible, lazy, a riffraff... i pity joe/ariel though, they filmed 30 scenes on one day.. my golly :shocked: if i were an actress i think i'd go crazy by doing all that scenes on one whole day... no wonder they only filmed 35 days... that last part (mission impossible) was really :shocked: ... joe oredi a blank face filming lotsa scenes... waaaa!!!

and re the article abt the game show... too bad joe got unlucky with the questions... but at least he enjoyed it, even if he joined at the last minute.... besides he got to be beside his lao po

meg sis, that life show preview really made my day my golly, i liked how joe answered shen chun hua's question of ariel is his type... as days passed by, he really got to appreciate ariel's beauty more and more... and on the process, falling in love with her?? and ariel's face when he said that was too CUTE for words!!! she was feeling oh-so-giddy!!! and why do i have a feeling that not only zheng ba ba approves of ariel, but joe's jie as well? not that she doesn't approve of ariel but i think she likes ariel a lot.. she knows ariel's the reason why joe is so happy these days

Yes Bunny_Kaye , I was totally okie concerning Joe’s decision to quit from SB . For any reason , I totally support him. Many rumours were stirred up that gave all actors disturbing feelings even before it take place of filming. I used to hope that will be their next project after KISS , but I am even happier when SB was replaced by LOB …haha , it must be fated already , they are destined to be together …lol .

I love his view toward happiness . Yes , happiness is sth , I consider quite ambiguous and hard to define . But he defines it so beautifully , and so true …it depends much on people’s view toward anything happening , we could eventually find happiness when we know to treasure all the tiny things occurring around us , only when we know how to treasure our family and friends …Being optimistic and pursuing for love and happy life …

　　12月12至14日，《华丽上班族之生活与生存》将来到东方艺术中心。从“待定”到“敲定”，郑元畅说，能够出演该剧完全是缘分。

　　林奕华找到他时，他手头还有一部没开拍的电视剧，积极向经纪人争取后，他得到了“待定”的机会，恰好电视剧提前杀青给他留下了一个较长的档期，于是，迅速签约。

　　在剧中，郑元畅的名字叫“李响”，代表充满理想的职场新鲜人，“他是个刚踏入社会的年轻人，对工作和爱情有着憧憬，然而经历了残酷的职场后，才发现很多事情和自己理想中的完全不一样。最后，他的理想都被牺牲了。最初我没想到会是部这么严肃的舞台剧，和林奕华聊天时也聊了一些内心的阴暗面，没想到他却给了我一个这么阳光的角色”。

　　演出日益临近，面对自己的舞台处女秀，被林奕华形容为“坐牢的小孩”的郑元畅却称自己还不够自信：“每人都有无形的枷锁。我害怕大家对我的期望太高、害怕自己太笨、害怕自己停滞不前……毕竟没有进步就意味着退步。舞台表演很难诠释，还好我们的对白很生活化，用自己的语言去表演就行了。”

　　和张艾嘉同台，还要和她谈一场姐弟恋，会是什么感觉？

　　郑元畅说：“导演要在这段中探讨爱情游戏。张姐是个有智慧的女人，剧本已经改了5稿，80%-90%都经过她的修改，我的台词也是她帮我写。认真工作的她很有魅力。”现实中他同样不抗拒姐弟恋：“每个人都有自己的选择。认真的女人最美丽，演艺圈中，我就看到了好多这样的女性。”

　　至于上班族，郑元畅称永远无法想象自己系上领带朝九晚五：“当初毕业后没有选择坐办公室，就是因为觉得自己不适合——每天上下班都要打卡、面对电脑，好可怕。”

鄭元暢在八大「我的億萬麵包」中首度嘗試演個膨風男，欠了一屁股債，結果被地下錢莊狂揍，還把他塞進浴缸試圖溺死他。金鐘影后林依晨昨上麻辣天后宮談到過去節省的事蹟，連利菁都吃了一驚。

小綜說，那場戲雖然才拍了10幾分鐘，但他長手長腳，要擠進浴缸已經很辛苦，後來憋氣憋到自己覺得快死掉，導演還不喊「卡」。更妙的是，在他氣若游絲之際，林依晨出場「美救英雄」，馬上進行人工呼吸救活他。小綜笑說，拍吻戲跟拍人工呼吸戲是完全不同，「吻戲會伸舌頭，人工呼吸是對著你的喉嚨吹氣，空氣一吹進來，肺都感覺要爆炸，很不舒服。」

小綜拍「我的億萬麵包」，前幾集不停地在躲債主與挨揍，很像在拍動作片。他說，自己現實生活中沒有躲債的經驗，他覺得一般人若不得已要向地下錢莊借錢，可能各有原因，但債主使用暴力討債，是絕不可取。而他在劇中純粹是愛慕虛榮，買名牌買到欠債，被揍確實是活該。

林依晨上節目時說，小時候家境不富裕，也養成她節儉的習慣，從沒買過名牌包，手邊的包包都是朋友或經紀人送的，利菁現場準備數款名牌包讓眾人喊價，張睿家買走要價1,000元的LV包，但林依晨一次都沒出價，被利菁笑問說「是不是看不上眼」，她才表示「太貴了」。

她透露這輩子買過最貴的東西是給家人住的房子，還有一條金項鍊，原本這條金項鍊是外公留給媽媽的遺物，但後來因家計當掉，「賺錢後就買了條一樣的金項鍊送給媽媽」，讓現場來賓聽到都為之鼻酸。

利菁另透露金鐘獎上的小祕辛，表示當時兩人很有緣坐隔壁，利菁上台領主持人獎後，就對林依晨說「等一下換妳了」，沒想到一語成真，讓林依晨直說「太巧了」.

Yes NYCgirl... during the fan&kam show, Joe said Ariel gave him a handmade card for his birthday, and he seemed very touched by it... kinda proud when he talked about it lol ...
Anyway, Joe's parents divorced when Joe was very young too... so he takes very seriously commitments like marriage... but i dont think Ariel's mom pressures her about Joe being in the showbizz... she is just like every parents, she wants to see her children married... Even Joe's father thinks of his future "daughter in law" already lol...

I know Bunny Kaye, we cant see the mv anymore ... Probably the person who captured the pics asked kklgigi to remove the clip from youtube... so it cant be helped... its their property after all...
Anyway, i cant wait to watch the whole "live show" too... from what we saw in the short preview, it sounds very nice lol... Ariel looked shy (even giggling) when Joe kinda said she is becoming more and more beautiful and his father thinks she would be the best daughter-in-law... Even his sister confirmed their father's words lol... And they didnt mind to say this in front of Ariel's brother... it's really too sweet ...
As for the stage play, i think they're doing the rehearsal in Taiwan... or Joe wouldnt be able to attend so many Love or Bread promos... but even so, he has to rush from a place to another, sharing his time between the rehearsal and the promos... It will be even more hectic in the end of the month when he'll start performing... Hopefully he is not too stressed...

Anyway sis, i'm glad you managed to fix PPS and hopefully it will work very well on sunday... even if i'm very much scared of buffering... i still remember when i watched TKA first episode, i missed the first part because of buffering... but i'm sure we'll have thousand butterflies in the stomach... i still remember this feeling, i want to feel this again... less than one week left... feels so long, yet so fast... I'm praying for LoB to be successful, i'm hopeful that taiwanese audience will love it... They're working so hard... and Joe is attending every promos once again... Tomorrow they're recording another show... Initially, it was not written in Joe's schedule (it was only Ariel and Wen Xing), and finally, Joe will be there too...

Wow, thanks so much for the info & pics of Joe's stage play!! A few weeks ago I was watching a play (Shakespeare's Hamlet), and I suddenly had the thought that if it was Design for Living and Joe was onstage...I think I'd have an extremely difficult time controlling myself and trying to resist jumping onto the stage to tackl - er, hug him! And my oh my, our Joe just looks soooo good in a suit...

And Yiyi, aww ArJoe looks so sweet with the little boy...and WHOA their hands! xD :shocked: Way to drive us crazy!!

小綜拍「我的億萬麵包」，前幾集不停地在躲債主與挨揍，很像在拍動作片。他說，自己現實生活中沒有躲債的經驗，他覺得一般人若不得已要向地下錢莊借錢，可能各有原因，但債主使用暴力討債，是絕不可取。而他在劇中純粹是愛慕虛榮，買名牌買到欠債，被揍確實是活該。

林依晨上節目時說，小時候家境不富裕，也養成她節儉的習慣，從沒買過名牌包，手邊的包包都是朋友或經紀人送的，利菁現場準備數款名牌包讓眾人喊價，張睿家買走要價1,000元的LV包，但林依晨一次都沒出價，被利菁笑問說「是不是看不上眼」，她才表示「太貴了」。

她透露這輩子買過最貴的東西是給家人住的房子，還有一條金項鍊，原本這條金項鍊是外公留給媽媽的遺物，但後來因家計當掉，「賺錢後就買了條一樣的金項鍊送給媽媽」，讓現場來賓聽到都為之鼻酸。

利菁另透露金鐘獎上的小祕辛，表示當時兩人很有緣坐隔壁，利菁上台領主持人獎後，就對林依晨說「等一下換妳了」，沒想到一語成真，讓林依晨直說「太巧了」。

Lin Yi Chen is very frugal, has never bought a brand-name bag

Xiao Zhong filming [Love or Bread]; for the first few episodes he does not stop trying to avoid being beaten up by creditors, very much like he was shooting an action movie. He said, in his real life, he has never had the experience of hiding from debt. He feels that if people have to borrow money from underground money lenders as a last resort, they may have their own reasons, but the creditors’ use of violence to collect debts, is definitely not advisable. But in the drama he purely loves vanity, buying brand-name items until in debt, indeed deserving to be beaten up.

While on the show Lin Yi Chen said that as a child her family financial situation was not very well-off, and so developed her habit of saving, and has never bought brand-name bags. Her handbags are all gifts from friends or her manager. Li Ching prepared a number of brand-name bags on the scene to let the people shout out prices. Bryant Chang bought an LV bag worth $1000NT, but Lin Yi Chen did not bid even once. When Li Ching jokingly asked [Is it because it doesn’t appeal to you?], she said, [Too expensive].

She revealed that most expensive things she has ever bought in her life are the house for her family to live in, and a gold necklace. It turns out that that gold necklace was the last object that her grandfather left to her mother, but was later pawned off because of the family finances, [After earning money I bought a replica of the gold necklace to give to my mother], causing the guests on the scene to have runny noses after hearing it.

Li Ching revealed another little secret about the Golden Bell Awards, expressing that at the time the two were very fatefully sitting next to each other. After Li Ching went onstage to receive the Best Show Host award, she said to Lin Yi Chen, [It will be your turn in a moment]. She did not expect the sentence to come true, causing Lin Yi Chen to say, [Too coincidental!].

爸爸、妈妈和弟弟

虽然出生在单亲家庭，但林依晨说："其实我也没有悲情啦。"她说，跟爸爸这么多年来一直都有联络，只是联络不会太多。从去年开始，才变得频繁起来。林爸爸陪她一起骑车、减肥的照片见诸报端，让人感觉到父女亲情的温馨。金钟奖颁奖那天，林爸爸更是一直守在场地外的大屏幕边观看了颁奖的全过程。对于女儿得奖，林爸爸当然很开心，但林依晨对于爸爸的自豪似乎很习惯了："他一直都那样啊。也不是我进了娱乐圈他才这样的。从小到大，他都会跟别人夸奖自己的女儿。"

从去年开始，父女俩相处的时间变多，林依晨说到了这样的年纪真的会希望能够修复亲情。"不过，刚开始的时候，还是多多少少都会有点拘束。现在呢，虽然和爸爸的关系还称不上朋友，但我们双方都在很努力地去修复感情。"

那天林依晨接受采访的时间是晚上八点半，经纪人周美豫说，她当天要开工，所以采访被见缝插针地安排到了这个时间。原本担心林依晨累了一整天会无心再聊天，所以问到关于爸爸的问题，自己倒是有些心虚的，但林依晨却很大方地回答。

与爸爸修复感情对于林依晨来说，就是"希望自己能够尽量地去了解爸爸，同时也让爸爸了解我多点"。至于说拿了金钟奖之后爸爸会否送礼物给她，她笑着答："不会啊。妈妈和弟弟也都没有送礼物啊。倒是我会送礼物给爸爸。看他喜欢什么就给他买咯。比如健身器材啊之类的。一整套的健身器材也要花掉不少钱，不过只要他喜欢就好了。"

妈妈是林依晨相依为命的长辈。与妈妈的故事流传最广的是感人的"金项链事情"。林依晨的外公当年肺癌过世时，曾送给林妈妈一条金项链，可是因为林妈妈要独力抚养两个小孩，经济负担沉重，最困难的时候还是把这条项链拿去典当，只保留了装项链的盒子与证明单。后来，林依晨赚了钱后，就拿着那张证明单去银楼，打了条一模一样的链子送给妈妈做50岁的生日礼物。金钟奖颁奖之后，林依晨第一个就打了电话给妈妈，谁知道，林妈妈当天因为看到一只小狗被人虐待，同是养狗之人，林妈妈心里很难过，就没看电视，错过了林依晨走红地毯和颁奖的镜头，幸亏看到了林依晨领奖一刻。不过，即使不拿奖，林依晨也不会觉得对不起妈妈，因为林妈妈一直以来并不太赞同她在娱乐圈发展，"

她总觉得我是因为想要缓解家里的经济压力才投身娱乐圈的，所以一直对我在这个圈子里发展不放心。她只希望我能够过得开心，还曾经跟我说，不然我们想办法把违约的钱凑起来，这样我就可以去读书，去做自己喜欢做的事情了。但我跟她说，我是真的还蛮喜欢戏剧的，才打消了她的念头。所以她对我拿不不拿这个金钟奖并不是太看重。"

弟弟，是林依晨入娱乐圈闯荡的最初理由。当年她参加捷运小姐选拔赛夺冠由此入行，而去参加比赛的原因正是看中了冠军的奖金"可以给弟弟买台电脑"。这次拿了金钟奖，林依晨笑说弟弟觉得他的功劳最大，"因为之前跟他一起去上节目的时候，他就有说我一定会拿金钟奖。他觉得是他那句话保佑了我，让我果然拿了奖。所以这个奖他也有份啦。"听得出来，林依晨很疼弟弟。弟弟林维圣刚从法国学成归来，学的是餐饮业。问林依晨会不会拿钱出来给弟弟开间餐馆，她回答说："暂时不会。因为给钱他未必就是疼他或者帮他。我想我还需要一段时间观察一下，看他是否能够做到。"

赚钱、存钱和花钱

林依晨在圈内是出了名的节俭派。平时，林依晨每个月的个人支出都会在2500元人民币左右。因为工作忙也没有多少机会"败家"，加上林依晨并没有名牌嗜好。除此之外，她也已经习惯了吃饭都会算食材的成本，属于圈内至悭一族。

林依晨没有乱花钱的习惯。甚至很少刷卡，自己根本就没有办信用卡，拿的是妈妈的附属卡。她不喜欢刷卡的感觉，因为觉得买东西的时候要刷卡，之后还要去还卡数，感觉像是付了两次款，很亏；而且她也不喜欢欠钱的感觉。即使用了信用卡，也会在当月将帐目清掉，她说："绝对不能让银行赚到这种利息钱。"

除了会赚钱和省钱，林依晨也有自己让钱生钱的理财计划。通常她会把收入分成五份，定期存款、活期存款、基金、外币和投资型保险。因为投资的是外币而非债券类型，所以虽然遭遇全球金融大风暴，但林依晨依然表示没有太多担心。她是一个会为未来做规划的人，现在已经在为将来的生活做经济上的准备，"要存钱，这样以后四、五十岁了或者退出娱乐圈或者病了才能生活有保障。"林依晨说，因为弟弟在法国学的是餐饮，而她梦想"退休"之后能够在法国生活，所以现在已经在储钱希望将来能定居法国并且开间餐厅。

林依晨除了在法国开餐馆的梦想，还有一堆的个人"基金","有结婚基金、小孩的教育基金，家人的养老基金等等。"虽然要存的钱很多，但是林依晨说，好在还是有点闲钱能够在适当的时候帮助一些弱势的群体。她认为帮助弱势群体这一点很重要，所以尽管她没有借钱给人的习惯，但不会不做慈善行动。

当然，林依晨也有她的花费。她喜欢买书，尽管看书的速度远远不及买书的速度，她还是坚持买书。花费千万台币购买的豪宅已经装修得差不多了，新屋将在这个月下旬入伙，林依晨说家里的特色就是，房间有两面墙是整墙的书柜。"因为我喜欢买书也喜欢保留书。小时候喜欢的百科和童话都还保留着，所以书柜是一定要大的。"对于新屋，林依晨很坦白地说："真的很有成就感。"所以尽管拍戏忙新屋的装修也要一一过问，当然为了把这款小小的"领地"布置好花钱方面自然不能太省。林依晨说："建筑材料都有一一发表我的意见。之前在杭州拍戏的时候，小到门把手都让弟弟传了图给我看。当然我自己的房间更加是我说了算啦。房间布置成我喜欢的维多利亚风格的，就是华丽而不太复杂的样子。"
旅游也是林依晨的一大"花钱"爱好。2007年10月，林依晨自费在美国游学了一个月，将旅游的爱好和学习融为一体。据说，林依晨和室友在时代广场附近租住了一间两房的公寓，房费平分都要2500美金，所以这趟纽约之行相信价格不菲。好在她回来之后即刻写了本《林依晨的纽约贝果日记》，相信游学的钱能够收回不少。说到出书，林依晨有点不好意思地笑着说："刚不是问我如果不在娱乐圈呆要干什么吗？我想到了，希望可以当个作家。"

好友、亡友和战友

在杨丞琳与林依晨同为一家电视台拍戏之后，迅速传出了两位好朋友翻脸的消息。据说事情的起因是杨丞琳背后取笑林依晨学她的发型，两人由此结怨并疏远。问林依晨："究竟杨丞琳有没有真的说了那句话呢？"林依晨说："我当然是选择相信我的朋友。"跟杨丞琳还是朋友么？"当然，可能我对朋友的定义以及交往的方式跟大家期待的不一样，大家才会误会的吧。我并不是那种常常跟朋友通电话的人，通常都是短信来往。"林依晨说金钟颁奖的现场，她和杨丞琳坐得很近，一路都有交流，而且事后也收到杨丞琳祝福的短信。

除此之外，林依晨也并未忘记去年由于车祸意外去世的好友许玮伦，虽然在金钟奖现场的颁奖致辞中由于并没有准备得充足，致谢的时候漏掉了许玮伦，但林依晨说庆功宴的时候有在心里默默诵念给许玮伦听，而且近期会与几个朋友私下相约去墓地看望许玮伦。
与郑元畅合作第三次，新戏《我的亿万面包》正在拍摄。虽然媒体都一直有心撮合二人，"粉丝"万分期待二人能够日久生情，郑元畅也不断公开"示爱"，连郑爸爸都出面"逼婚"表示对林依晨很满意，但林依晨依然只用了"老战友"来形容她和郑元畅的关系。

两人其实超级般配，金钱观一致，都不喜欢乱花钱，同样习惯把收入分为五份管理，都不爱使用信用卡。除了金钱观，连未来的梦想都很一致。郑元畅说以后"退休"了希望开间餐厅，而林依晨对于未来的人生规划也正是在法国开餐厅。最特别的是，两人都很符合对方对于未来伴侣的假想描述，郑元畅喜欢："孝顺，善解人意，面对困境时要很乐观的女生。"基本上圈内公认林依晨完全"相符"，而林依晨说："有时候喜欢孩子气的男生。"郑元畅也很符合这点。但二人至今仍未公开尝试拍拖，真是皇帝不急，急死外人。问林依晨是否会考虑郑元畅，她说："太熟悉了，拍拖起来会不会有点怪怪？"

可能因为看多了林依晨在荧屏上扮演糊里糊涂的小女孩，对于金钟视后或者偶像剧一姐这样的称谓，总感觉跟她不太相符。即便荣升金钟视后，她也还是那样，对人很真诚、有礼，但也会划出泾渭分明的界线来保护自己。跟她有点漫无目的地交谈了一阵之后，开始觉得她的性格跟外表其实有很大差别。她的性格成熟、沉稳、独立而且有自己的原则，绝对是先动脑后动嘴型，而反应的快速则说明她是比较聪明的女孩子。

她说她在娱乐圈的偶像是张曼玉。这个答案其实没什么惊喜，很多当红的少年女星都这么说。但林依晨说封之为偶像的原因并非张的演技，而是喜欢她为人处世的方式。这个倒是有点特别。虽然在娱乐圈发展得顺风顺水，但看到她为了保持上镜好看努力节食，跟自己的面包脸做斗争，很是期待她能够早日储够钱，和弟弟在法国开间餐馆，过过美食人生。

Ariel had just obtained Taiwanese television's highest form of recognition – the GBA Best Actress Award, and consolidates her position as Taiwanese Idol Drama's top actress. Seven years after her debut, Ariel is no longer the little girl-next-door. However, she remains frank and straightforward. In the ISWAK drama series, Ariel's most memorable portrayal of the main female protagonist, Xiang Qin, is of her inability to live independently and her muddle-headedness in committing the simplest of errors. However in real life, Ariel is very mature; she is able to manage her own finances. As she does not invest in stocks and shares, the recent financial turmoil has little effect upon her. She knows how to save for a rainy day; at 26 years old, she has already made financial plans for her retirement. She doesn't like to use credit cards, and even if she does use it, she would clear her credit card bills promptly at the end of each month. Her famous quote being, "Absolutely cannot let the banks earn this type of interest." When she is not filming, Ariel is not as lively as she is portrayed on-screen. She loves to watch movies at home and loves to read. Occasionally, she acts like a typical young girl. When in a good mood, she would be dancing by herself in her own room, or sing karaoke with her friends. Her principle in friendship is "relationship between friends are as insipid as water". This is the Ariel that has consented to be interviewed, the Ariel outside the glare of GBA and outside of her title of top actress.

Dad, Mom, and Brother

Although she comes from a single-parent family, Ariel says: "Actually, I am not sad about it." She said that she has been in contact with her father all these years, except that contact is not very frequent. It only became more frequent last year. There were copious media coverage of father and daughter cycling together to lose weight, allowing us to see the warmth of their relationship. On the day of GBA, Ariel's father was at the grounds just outside of the GBA auditorium, watching the entire proceedings from the large screen there. Ariel's father is very happy about Ariel's win. However, Ariel seem to have gotten used to her father's pride in her achievements: "He is always like that. It is not as if he was only proud of me when I entered the entertainment circle. Since I was young, he always boasts about his own daughter."

Father and daughter had been spending more time together since last year. Ariel says that at her age, she hopes to be able to restore the relationship between them. "In the beginning, it was inevitable to have some awkwardness. Although you can't actually say that we are friends now, we are both trying our hardest to repair our relationship."

It was 8pm when Ariel was being interviewed. Her manager, Zhou Mei Yu said that she is working that day and the interview had to take place between two schedules. I had thought that Ariel must have been tired after such a long day and would not be in the mood to talk. So I was feeling a little guilty when asking about her father. However, Ariel was very open and generous in her answers.

To Ariel, restoring her relationship with her father is "hoping that I can try harder to understand my dad, and to allow my dad to understand me a little better." When asked if her father would give her a present when she got her GBA, she smiled and answered, "He won't. Neither would mom and brother. Rather, I would have to buy a present for my dad. I'll buy whatever he likes. For example, gym equipment and stuff like that. A whole set of gym equipment is rather expensive. However, as long as he likes it, it is ok."

Ariel and her mother had been dependent on each other for survival. Among all the stories that has been circulating, the most famous is the touching story of the "gold necklace incident". When Ariel's grandfather died of lung cancer, he gave Ariel's mother a gold necklace. However, as Ariel's mother had to single-handedly bring up two children, the financial burden was tremendous. In her most difficult moments, Ariel's mother pawned this gold necklace but kept its box and its certificate as proof of ownership. When Ariel started earning money, she took this certificate to the goldsmith to fabricate the exact copy of that necklace for her mother's 50th birthday. After GBA, the first person Ariel called was her mother. However, Ariel's mom saw a dog being abused that day and as she is a dog owner herself, she was extremely distressed and did not watch TV. She therefore missed Ariel's walk down the red carpet and Ariel's presenting of awards. Luckily, she caught Ariel receiving her award on TV. However, even if she had not won, Ariel does not feel as if she had let her mother down. This is because, Ariel's mother had never been very agreeable to Ariel being in the entertainment business. "She always feels that I entered the entertainment circle in order to ease the family's financial pressures. Therefore she had never been at ease with my development in this business. She only hopes that I can be happy and even told me that we should find a way to get the money to breach my contract, that way I would be able to go for further studies and do what I like to do. However, I told her that I really do quite like dramas. Only then I could put a halt to these ideas of hers. That is why she is not too concerned whether I win this award or not."

Ariel first entered the entertainment circle because of her brother. She first entered the "Miss Rapid Transit" pageant in order to win the prize money so "I can buy my younger brother a computer". This time, upon winning GBA, Ariel smiled and said that her brother feels that his contribution is the greatest, "Previously when I was in a programme with him, he said that I will definitely win the GBA. He feels that it is because of those words that had protected me, and allowed me to win. Therefore he took credit for me winning this award." It sounds like Ariel loves her brother very much. Her brother, Lin Wei Sheng, had just come back from France after studying about restaurant catering. When asked if Ariel will give money for him to open a restaurant, she answered, "Not at the moment. Loving him and wanting to help him does not mean giving him money. I think I still need some to observe to see if he is really able to make it himself."

Earning money, saving money, and spending money.

Ariel is famous in the entertainment circles for being thrifty. Ariel averages an income of RMB2500 per month. Because she has been so busy, she has little opportunity to spend. Moreover, Ariel does not have the habit of wearing branded clothes. Other than that, even when she is eating, she would habitually start calculating the cost of the ingredients. Ariel does not have a habit of spending money indiscriminately. Not only does she seldom use credit cards, she doesn't even have her own credit card. Travelling is also another hobby which she spends much money on. In October 2007, Ariel self-funded her stay in America for a month, combining her love for travelling and her love for learning into one. Good Friends, Dead Friends and Comrade-in-arms

Soon after Ariel Lin and Rainie Yang started working for the same TV station, there were news of the two friends falling out with each other. From 12th – 14th December, [Design for Living] will have performances in Oriental Art Center. From ‘deciding’ until ‘confirming’, Zheng Yuan Chang said that able to take part in this stage play is totally because of fate.

When Edward Lam contacted him, that time he still has a tv series that hasn’t started to film yet, he has been requesting for it vigorously to his manager before getting the “deciding” chance. Luckily the tv series has finished filming way earlier than expected and have allowed him to have a rather long empty time slot, so he signed the contract immediately.

In the series, Zheng Yuan Chang’s character is called “Li Xiang”, to signify the dreams and hope that a newbie will have when he just joined the work field. [He is a young man who just steps into the society, having lots of fantasy about his work and love, only after experiencing so many crucial incidents, and then only he realized that there are many things which are totally different from what he has dreamed. Lastly, his dream was being sacrificed. Earlier on, I didn’t know that this will be a serious stage play, while I was talking with Edward Lam, we did talk about some dark inner thoughts but never would have known that he will give me such a sunny character.]

This character has reminds him of himself when he just joined the entertainment industry: [I have been through this journey before, only after 1 or 2 years that I have slowly started to get used to it. Previously, I thought being an artist is something that is very refreshing, interesting and a happy kind of job but my thoughts have changed since then, and I have already decided to let this become my future career and life.] And after 6 years have passed, Zheng Yuan Chang still has unfulfilled dreams, there were some compromising and the contend against this big entertainment industry: [Big environment will depend strongly on ratings while the role that I am interested in playing will be those roles that will touch people’s hearts.]

即将于 12月12-14日在上海东方艺术中心演出的舞台剧《华丽上班族之生活与生存》剧组正在台北进行紧张的封闭式彩排。共有13个演员的此剧，以张艾嘉扮演的女老板为核心，正好代表了现代社会的13种人———“快活族”、“乐活族”、“BoBo族”等。向来出演偶像剧中“花样美男”的郑元畅，在此剧中担纲男主角，与张艾嘉同台飙戏。郑元畅日前在接受记者采访时表示，“这是一部笑里藏刀的戏，刀刀能够刺中观众的心。”

初登戏剧舞台且没有做过上班族的郑元畅对这个充满挑战的角色做足了功课，反复揣摩人物的影像、冲突、变化等。之前没有接触过舞台剧 的他觉得舞台剧表演非常刺激，不能NG，是一个可以磨炼演技的平台，“听圈内的朋友说演舞台剧是非常上瘾的，观众会给你最直接的反应，好或者不好都马上能 够从观众的反应中感受到。而偶像剧可能要等播出一段时间之后才能得到观众的反馈。”

张艾嘉在此剧中扮演的是一个女老板的角色，在工作上非常有自己的一套方法，并为了能保住自己的位置而去布很多局。郑元畅表示对于张艾嘉在工作中认真的态度印象深刻，“我会情不自禁地去观察她在工作中投入的状态。”

导演林奕华在彩排中也采用了特殊的训练手法，“比如玩‘情感区域’游戏，演员在地上画出四块情感，然后两个人在这四个格子里随性游走， 念台词，甚至自导自演，体验情感上的碰撞。”虽然现在还处在理顺台词的彩排初级阶段，但这种即兴的表达方式却有效地打破了演员之间的陌生感和距离感。

I've been soo busy, and actually trying to download some eps of ISWAK from VEOH but it's like less than 7kb per sec at most because we're afraid of security risk if we open ports for torrent.. anyways, I ordered TKA and ISWAK Malaysian release from eBay store should be here tomorrow, supposedly, yay! Meanwhile I was able to download only 24 & 25 (30 eps version) hardsubbed. (good practice for Chinese, but I end up "cheating" to see the English subs too much. With the DVD I can turn off English subs to practice sometimes..

(unfortunately I cannot eat wheat/milk/eggs (food allergies) so I will be having allergy free version. Tastes OK. (not as good) I do know how to bake pretty well though, I know this awesome cake that could be adapted... it's by Marcel Desaulniers... um...it's the cake from this very rich espresso layer thing but I don't put the espresso in and I use plain chocolate ganache, etc.. haven't baked real cakes in years thanks to food allergies to all kinds of things - also includes seafood and soy and some other things.. (sucks cause I love to eat all those and developed the allergies late in life)

The article Kassy posted from COLOR mag... YiChen was asked "how do you view love?" so why did she bother to stick in that she hasn't found the one to make her jump yet?! Nobody made her answer if she found someone... isn't it one of those things when people say the opposite cause they're hiding the truth (or attempting to, LOL)? I think that's exactly what she's doing... it's hard to act 100% of the time, eh? *smile*

I hate the worry feeling that comes up sometimes... even though I know they must be together in some way because there is NO WAY that they could be any less *smile*

ETA: Here's some fun things to ponder.... I watched Happy Camp (whoo hoo!) soooo funny. Although I didn't understand some of the context, I could understand the gist of the major scenes and stuff... just need to keep working on my vocabulary. That Xie Na Na is funny! *grin* Love the hosts... especially the super-short one LOL. The scene that made me laugh the most was the "who can speak with more strength" scene... and melt, the "wo xi huan ni" eyes (omg *die*)... any catwalking was HOT.... the eye thing was cool, thought it was funny that Joe was yelling at him to keep his eyes open and not blink. The host said he'd work hard to not blink but had difficulty... and Na Na pretending to be YiChen, that was super funny, sometimes she did have some of YiChen's mannerisms and speech nuances, soo funny *smile* Her voice is quite a bit deeper but still... I loved how Joe had to hold his stomach laughing all the time... and how he breathed out with a serious face before saying YiChen was the most important woman in his career life (then they laughed at his avoidance answer).

At the beginning they showed the dressing table... a big Doraemon doll facing him, and a super-skinny neck giraffe doll facing the mirror. What is the meaning of that? *smile* Those were the only things I noticed - everything else seemed either hair related or they showed some shots of his accessories and being appropriately careful about his looks LOL... love that satisfied smile he had when he felt he was ready *wink*

What else... Oh yeah, the Life preview! WHEEEEE!!! I think I'll go watch that again right now... toooo sweet....

Hopefully tomorrow my package will be delivered na... I'll be immersed in Mandarin Wonder how the subs are compared to our SPECIAL FAN SUBBERS, translators and everyone.... can't be as good... I'm so spoiled having baobeis subbing REALLY spoiled... I mean, yipeeyey is posting stuff every DAY there's a new trailer subbed already or something else from yam site, all of Mandy's hard work!!! indes translating the life show preview for us, Kassy with several articles at once every few days at least!!! and yiyi and meg for posting them up.... and all the timers... Its freezing cold weather here in London. I had been sick due to the flu and now trying to catch up with so many goodies.

It still amazes me how fast they were able to complete the series.

I know Gkb... this month is very busy for Joe ... sharing his time between LoB promotion and the play rehearsal... He is working so hard for it, it's really not easy.. And even if he is doubting at times, even if he lacks of confidence, he wanted to do this play so much, so i'm sure he is very happy nowadays... Now, i'm just praying for everything to go fine... LoB and Design for Living must be successful... it's so tensing lol... I cant wait for sunday... and hopefully GTV will release many LoB BTS clips to enjoy... even though, there must be less than for TKA... The filming went so fast indeed...
Lol, i think Fufu's pics are very sexy... I hope she'll post some more... and i wonder in which magazines we will see them...
