Just before the spring festival, China version ‘Meteor Garden’ finally gained approval from SARFT. Yesterday, reporters were told by ‘Days Entertainment Company’ that the new F4 and Shan Cai have arrived, and during the next few days, they will be busy with clothes fitting and photoshoots. The real actors are not the high-profile artists that have been rumoured online. On the contrary, only Hua Ze Lei and Mei Zuo are played by well-known artists Yu Hao Ming and Wei Chen respectively. Dao Ming Si, Shan Cai and Xi Men will be played by newcomers. Shan Cai will be played by a 19-year old film academy student Zheng Shuan.

Japanese manga ‘Hana Yori Dango’ has been remade into a lot of version, amongst them, Taiwanese version was most popular in China. The China version, which has been talked about for a long time, will finally begin filming, and according to SARFT, the changes are quite big – ‘Meteor Garden’ will be re-named ‘Meteor Rain’, F4 and Shan Cai all have very Qiong Yao-style new names, and the plot has turned from a romantic idol drama into an inspirational drama, no wonder netizens are not happy!

this version is interesting than the korean one. i mean, a romantic drama to inspirational? that's tough. but, who knows, they might pull it off? and besides, they based their version with the taiwanese one---while korea based it to japan; i guess that's fair enough.

The Korean one is called Boys Over Flower, and its currently airing on Ktv now. i love ittt!

And I hope this one will be as good or maybe even better! But yerh I agree with Kitsiee, the actor playing Mei Zuo is a cutie! I cant wait to watch!

Finally! The media will now stop using Chunnie just to promote this series! Honestly, with his status right now, he doesn't really need a rehash project that will make him be compared from Jerry Yan and belonging to the F4 will just ruin Fahrenheit. And HIM is not that stupid to throw the years of hardwork to make them known.

But really, why can't they think of another project? Some other Mangas that is not based from Hana Yori.

As if I care. Haha. Just don't make another Hana Kimi I'm fine with it. Coz Hana Kimi is just for Chun and Ella. And no one can equal them.

Korean actors look more attractive than the Chinese ones: they all look so YOUNG and fragile....

the hana yori remake is getting old already... it's as if all asian countries would like to have it's own version... i think the china version will have a bigger pressure on making it good since the korean, which is currently airing, has been praised and highly cited by fans all over asia. as for the cast, well, i don't find the chinese F4 handsome but i hope they're decent actors...

well i never watch the taiwanese one since that was like super long ago. and the japanese one... the characters were not the good looking. but i love the korean one. love love love. so i am having high hopes for the chinese one.

Korean version the characters are a thousand time prettier. I'm not sure I'm gonna watch this. Chinese and Taiwanese version tends to screw up the manga, by finding people that can't act.

None of those guys look the part and I think that's one of the deciding factors of whether I watch it or not. I've already seen the TW version (and currently watching the KOR version) so I already know what's going to happen. If the guys can't pull of the acting, there's no point in watching. Hopefully with the right stylist, they'll actually look like F4.
