yay, there's finally a proper place where i can talk about this .. i'm sort of over the initial shock because it's been a few days (and XY already appeared in GuangZhou cos WL was busy) but this is single-handedly one of the most interesting thing that's happened in a while - for me that is ..
<< looking at my avatar, you can probably guess why it's so interesting for me .. i like XM and XY the most out (and by far) of HG and BBT.. although i would've liked it that they were a pairing, i'm realistic so i knew it was all in my head.. of course, things changed rather drastically a few days back, didn't they?
the only problem i have with them smoking is that it's true that they are able to heavily influence their fans- so with that into consideration, i think it was inappropriate for them to be smoking in public .. that plus that it's bad for one's health ..
but my opinion of them hasn't changed.. it is indeed their own lives (yes i know they're under a management company) but who knows what kind of reason they may have had for smoking .. for all we know, it could be a very viable and decent reason and they didn't mean any harm by it - they were just living their own lives and acting on their own decisions.. in my opinion, smoking doesn't make you a bad person - it's just that it's perceived as a negative quality in society because it's a common occurrence in "peer pressure situations" and that it is now known to be very harmful .. but like i said, it is XY and XM's choice (hopefully they aren't hooked or anything) ..
as for the dating issue..
to be honest, even though i'm all for a YuMan pairing, i don't think that they're "dating" per say - more just hanging out as friends .. although, that idea itself is still a bit of a shock, cos it feels extremely random because there's very little interaction between the two (aside from pics of eachother in BSC); i honestly just thought that they were out relieving stress together ..
of course, then it was brought to my attention that the photo was actually of XM's arms looped around XY.. and that AndyGe stated something about them having feelings for each other but still being only friends .. this was thanks to *.marshmalloww who posted in the WangXun thread (very nice of her to take the time to explain it to me^^)..
As for where Andy Ge said that they both have feelings for each other, I read that in an article. Let me go find it.......

It says that he stated that they both have like "feelings", but are only in normal friend relationship.
好感 is more like...not exactly love feelings or bf/gf exactly, but close to that. Like having that feeling of wanting to be with them? It's like WZ to Xiao Xun in BSM but I think a bit more than that.
Anyways, but then in articles after that, I think Andy Ge did respond already, so not like that matters anymore.
yeah, so these sort of things, plus everyone else's opinions has sort of influenced my perspective .. either way, even if they were "dating" before, they probably aren't anymore after all the media press.. but i personally feel that "love" is a bit of stretch, of course - who am i to say that? what goes behind those curtains is something we'll never really know ~
as for the dating rule, when AndyGe mentioned on CIRCUS the difference of how he would regulate couples like GG/WZ and DY/AQ is quite odd .. he's assuming that age reflects maturity - which may be true to a certain extent - but is not always a good way to regulate something .. in my opinion, the 'rule' is a good idea because relationships are hard, plus being young makes it harder, and then being in the public eye makes it MUCH harder to make a proper relationship work .. besides, as it is, there are already so many fans out there who push for their fav idols to date, but who knows if they really want to?
BUT i would love to see someone ask AndyGe how he would handle a couple like YuMan (if it did exist) - one's old and one's young (XM's younger than GuiWangXun) so i'd like to see him try to work his way through that hehe..
anyway, back to YuMan ..
i always noticed that they have similar characteristics in certain respects..
What comes to mind specifically, is that they're both quite different to the other members of their groups: With XY it's fairly obvious, he does minimal talking and has different priorities aka studying and the Rocker thing. With XM, she too does minimal talking (but that could be more because she's overshadowed) but she is significantly quieter compared to the others. Of course, they both have their crazy moments too. But generally, they don't really flaunt their presences when they make appearances or are on MFBBT and WAHSH..
but yeah, since XY had to go to GuangZhou because having only 4members of BBT would be too odd, i'm supposing that XY's "introspection period" where he was "frozen" from work is over, or at least not as severe as i imagined.. but he did miss out on the beginning of the MFBBT filming so i guess when i hear that he's back to that, i'll be totally relieved ..
sadly still no news of XM

XY's was a password-protected entry so i don't wanna post the link: i coincidentally saw it, cos someone had posted the link somewhere and i didn't realise what it was until later .. but yeah, it's various lines of english rock songs - and things can be analysed to having different meanings but yeah - who knows what he was really trying to say ..
2. as for XM she had two blog entries that may/may not have been referring to the situation that they were in .. but chances are, they were reflecting the stress brought upon her by the revelation:
