Under the Commission of Youth Protection, Big Bang’s 2nd album ‘Remember’ has been labelled harmful for teenagers with the reason that the song ‘Strong Baby’ in the album contains inappropriate/suggestive lyrics.

From 6th March, Big Bang’s 2nd album ‘Remember’ will have the sticker ‘No Sales Allowed For Those Under 19′ labelled on the CD.

A YG Entertainment representative said, “We did not arrange for a new recording for a clean version of the supposed problematic song ‘Strong Baby’. We will just have to sell the CD with the sticker label on.”

As to whether this order will affect SeungRi’s solo activity, “This coming 1st March will be his last performance, hence we see that there shouldn’t be any hindrance to his solo activities.”

uh?now i really think that Commission of Youth Protection has a new job--banning cds as many as they can :whistle
YG is right ,why need a clean version of Strong Baby..
the song doesnt even contains any 'harmful' lyrics.. -_-

What the hell. <_< Doesn't the government have better things to do?? Oh I don't know.. like TRYING TO SAVE THE ECONOMY?
Geez. And why did they do this so late? I didn't even think of drugs when I first heard Strong Baby. Is this like a back-fire on the government's part -.-

man, i'm getting sick of this banning/over 19 thing..urgh!

i hope this doesn't affect BB's album sales b/c it's not fair and i'm glad YG is not making a clean version. the song is great as it is. looking forward to Seung Ri's last performance! ^^ he's done so well. VICTORY!!

EHHHHHH.>_________<"
that is the most stupidest thing iv ever heard before..
do they have to make such a big fuss out of it?!!.
it's only a song, it doesnt suggest anything at all!.
its just some words put together >_<"
i think it's really unfair on SR because it's his solo, and its causing the whole bb album to not be able to be sold to under 19's.
he must feel kinda guilty ...... sighhh.
at least his song is v.v.v.v.vpopular now XD

ohh & this album is highly highly HIGHLY recommended.
all this techno raprap music.

im liking the idea of not recording a clean version.
shows that YG artists dont sing only to sell.
and strong baby is like your average american song.
and why ban it so late. its been out for months. for anyone thats interested in buying it already got it. doesnt really make a difference.

ughh their so freaking stupid.
first it was the "crack" issue, an now this?
i mean come on let them be, its not like
the song its telling children to go smoke crack right?
well anyways i dont care, im glad that YG is not
backing up and making another version just to make them happy.
they stand for they believe and that's good.
Anyways the album already sold millions of copies
and im sure that even with he sticker it will still sell.
they will find ways to buy them even if their not 19
their parents can probably buy it for them. :)
fighting Big Bang!!

Putting stickers on cd is not going to prevent people younger than 19 to buy the album. They can easily tell their parents or someone older to buy it for them. Thank god this doesn't affect Seung Ri's solo activities though.

What if you aren't korean and have absolutely no clue to what it means?
That's why I can't find the album in the CD store...
Sheesh, it's so hard to buy korean albums in Canada.....

that is ridiculous! their lyrics aren't inappropriate!
i don't see how seung ri's "strong baby" has harmful and suggestive lyrics.
glad to hear that yg isn't going to re-record another version, i love seung ri's song! and i want it just the way it is

Yeah, this is going to shrink the market. So many Big Bang fans out there are under 19. Next time, idol singers have to sing kiddy songs and read nursery rhymes to be able to succeed in their own country.

I don't see how the Korean Govt is going to 'Globalize' Korean music when they still have their head in the sand, thinking that the youths in their country are pure and innocent and just the word 'crack' will be harmful. With the power of the internet these days, kids are expose to almost everything before they hit puberty.

Wowow. o_O
the korean CYP seems to be really harsh and strict lately -_-
like banning the albums would help in any way?
its so laugh-able at their attempts.
HHAHAHAHHA. Ban porn/violence rather than banning albums -_-

LOL! What is up with this dumb commission?
I'm going to restrict album sales because your song has the word "crack!"

Why didn't they ban Big Bang's Lalala then? They keep on repeating the word 'sh*t' in almost every line. I would think 'sh*t' is more harmful then 'crack'

lol...*agrees w/ Procratinator* La La La was all 'shitty' alright...haha
i love Big Bang and i really dun think their lyrics are harmful
what's wrong w/ korea nowadays? Strong Baby has been released since last year for pete's sake
they just ban anything if they feel like it and when they feel like it~~
like Ajoo's song being banned coz it signifies 'materialism'??
does that even make sense??
