CL stands for her last name and her first name, Chae Lee.:]
And also, according to CL, the french word "Ciel" [pronounced as CL] means "sky"..So, her stage name CL also means "Reaching for the sky" [sort of like that.

I thought Park Bom unni is the leader... she has more experience and she started "debuting: before CL even came to YG though.
thats so unfair.

I always liked CL since she showed up at the YG family special stage and on hot Issue but i dont think she should be the leader.
she is too young...
and kinda too much of a GD two. she should be CL not GD oppa. his role is already taken in the world.

you guys are wondering her name?
Here name comes from Chae Lee which means Sky.
in YG she and Tae Yang oppa get along really well... so that is where she got her stage name. he is Sun and she is Sky. helped her pick out her stage name.

and i agree with you guys, she's the leader of 2ne1 even if she's the youngest..

Lol. I don`t know when that happened though, but I think his hair is still long but you just can`t see it because her hair is always tied up.:]
She looks a bit different now though, she looks more mature and lady-like now, not like before, she looks like a charming girl.:]

was reading at soompi a while ago and i found out that CL is close friends with Sohee & Ye Eun of Wonder Girls it is also said that CL used to be a JYP trainee and is roommates with sohee.
CL also mentioned 2PM on her acknowledgment.

it seems like YG talents and JYP talents are close friends.
