Boyband SS501 led by KimHyunJoong is coming to Singapore end of this year.

"Boys Over Flower" Kim Hyun Joong is giving fans in Singapore a christmas present. That is SS501's Persona Concert.

According to reliable source, boyband SS501 led by leader Kim Hyun Joong will be in Singapore before Christmas to celebrate with Singapore's fans.

Before the news is confirm, there were already a few fans called up the company in Singapore and Korea wanting to book tickets for the concert in Singapore. Now that they are really coming to Singapore, the fans must be really happy.

Actually, SS501 isn't unfilmilar in Singapore. The leader Kim Hyun Joong acted Yoon Ji Hoo in Boys Over Flower. With his popularity in the drama plus SS501 also sang in a few songs in the drama, their popularity shoot up.

One of their song "Because I'm Stupid" had also won the 1st ranking in 1003ufm radio station.

SS501 is having their Persona Concert after debuting for 4 years. The concert started this year 1st August in Seoul. Recently, completed their concerts in Korea and Japan. The result of the concerts were great, tickets were all sold out.

The third concert will be held in Taipei Arena. SS501 will also be doing charity work for the Taiwan's flood. For every ticket sold on the 17th October for the Taipei Persona Concert, they will donate S$20 to charity.

Defeated Lee Min Ho. Kim Hyun Joong won the best actor award.

In everyone's heart, the emo character Kim Hyun Joong is the best actor. After Boys Over Flower showed in Korea, the ratings broke 20%. Over half a year, the fever of Boys Over Flower is still on. "2009 Seoul Television Drama" the in-charge and Korea's yahoo put up a poll for voting the best drama and the best actor/actress. In the end, Boys Over Flower and Kim Hyun Joong won 22200k votes and 25500k votes repestively. Of course, they were named as the Best Drama and the Best Actor award.

Lee Min Ho was ranked behind Lee Jun Ji. Being in the 3rd place.

Goo Hye Sun who acted as "Kim Jan Di" in Boys Over Flower was ranked the 3rd behind Geun yeong Mun(1st place) and Han hyo joo(2nd place).

SS501 practices Mandarin song diligently for Taiwan concert, have outstanding performance in ticket sales with 80% of tickets sold within first 3 days.


As SS501 is scheduled to hold a concert in Taipei Arena on the 17 of next month, fans who want to see their idols up close, have queued overnight without complain and have willingly spent money on the tickets. Since the opening of ticket sales on 5 September (Saturday), in less than 3 days, 80% of the tickets have been sold.

The tickets ranging from 3200 TWD to 4500 TWD (100 USD - 137 USD) are completely sold out and there are limited 800 TWD tickets left. Besides Taiwanese fans, fans from Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Shanghai and other Asian countries have also rushed to snap up the tickets. An estimate of 400 overseas fans will attend the concert in Taiwan. Online sale of the tickets will start on 16 September.

SS501 hopes to sing a Chinese Mandarin song for the fans in Taiwan during the concert and are currently practicing diligently for it. As to which song they will be singing, SS501 said they are now working hard on memorizing the song and will only reveal it on the day of the concert; they want to give a big surprise to all their fans.

A limited edition of SS501 Greatest Hit Collection album will hit the stores on 22 September.

HyunJoong’s condition has improved at the moment,

Inevitably, HyunJoong would not be able to attend, we had decided that only YoungSaeng, KyuJong and HyungJoon will attend.

For 9/11 (Fri) Drama Awards, we had originally planned for HyunJoong receiving award and SS501’s congratulatory performance,
We have arranged for YoungSaeng, KyuJong, HyungJoon to receive the award on behalf of HyunJoong,
And have their congratulatory performance (U R Man + Because I am stupid).

Even though HyunJoong would not be able to receive the award personally, we had prepared fanclub seats, so hope that many would still go for these meaningful seats to support and congratulate HyunJoong’s win for the award!!

Good news for Korea's sensational pop group, SS501's fans because Malaysia is officially confirmed as one of the nation that will be toured by SS501's Persona Asia Tour.

SS501 have visited Malaysia last week to meet n greet with their fans in Malaysia and their Persona Asian Tour which will be held in Malaysia either in end of 2009 or on January 2010.

They (SS501) which just finished their photographing/photoshoot located in Sabah have also said whether is it possible for all five members too act together in a drama after their leader, Kim Hyun Joong has raised their popularity after he acted in a popular korean drama, Boys Over Flowers.

"Thank u for supporting Kim Hyun Joong and also for supporting us. Recently we've all have received an acting offer and we are busy reading the script given"

09/10 [new] "Mom's here", HJL's parents fly to Japan to take care of their son


In order to take care of her precious son, Kim Hyun Joong's mother immediately flew to Japan to take care of her son the moment the news came out.

After hearing that her son needs to be treated for more than half a month, Kim Hyun Joong's mother immediately boarded the plane and rushed to Japan to accompany him.

SS501's management company said, "Because Kim Hyun Joong's parents' were really worried, so they immediately flew to Japan to be with him, and will be taking care of him for the next half month." Currently, Kim Hyun Joong's condition has stabilized, but the hospital is predicting that the length of his treatment will be longer than previously predicted, hence increasing fans' worry.

As the time break fast for the Muslims, i ended up crying for not getting to watch our boys to receive the award, and i did miss 'Because I'm Stupid' performance!!

Kim HyunJoong returning to Korea on 16-Sep..SS501 confirmed to release their new album this month

5 member male idol group SS501 will release their new album as planned this month.

SS501’s company DSP Entertainment senior management representative said to MoneyToday StarNews on 16-Sep “SS501 will release their new album this month. This is a decision made with sufficient discussions with SS501 members including Kim HyunJoong. We had already announced about the album release to be in mid of this month.”

Initially, the new album release is said to be delayed due to Kim HyunJoong’s infection of H1N1 influenza in Japan. However, Kim HyunJoong has recovered fully and was being discharged from the hospital on 15-Sep, he showed strong will to get into activities thus has decided to go ahead with the new album release this month as planned. SS501’s new release is going to be a full-length official album.

Meanwhile, Kim HyunJoong who has recovered from H1N1 will be returning to Korea on 16-Sep.

Kim HyunJoong went over to Japan for KBS 2TV ‘Boys Over Flowers’ promotional event held in Yokohama Japan on 5th and 6th Sep. However, Kim HyunJoong developed slight fever and headache which hinders him from attending the recordings of a show. Kim HyunJoong then had high fever and was sent to a hospital in the morning of 7-Sep, where he was diagnosed with H1N1 influenza and was admitted to hospital for medical treatment.

Kim HyunJoong won the male popularity award voted by netizens in ‘Seoul Drama Awards 2009’ held on 11-Sep.

recently i worked at 7-11 near my house, so i also be waiting for this month issue, but my store where i work is too late for sending in the new issue..so i was at the cashier attending to five malay girls..one of them holding the Teenage magazine and the other girl was holding the poster, so when they made their purchases, the girl folded half of the magazine, and i caught that is the new issue and therefore i knew it was SS501, so after they left the store, i immediately sent sms to my mum to buy me both the TEENAGE & TEENS magazine..lol

so yeah, i just bought TEENS today!!

Anyway, before i love the 3 Kims, but now now im in love with Kyu Jong, Jung Min & Baby!
But don't get me wrong, i still love everyone of them!!

DSP Media said on the 17th, "Kim Hyun Joong headed straight for home from Kimpo Airport yesterday afternoon, after returning to Seoul from Japan where he had been warded for the H1N1 virus. Unlike what was reported earlier, he will be recuperating at home."

They also revealed information about SS501's new album, "SS501 will release their new album in the latter part of September instead of October. This decision was taken after discussions with Hyun Joong and the other SS501 members. We had originally planned to delay the release of the new album because of Hyun Joong's illness but he has requested to follow the original schedule upon his discharge on the 15th."

Looks like it will be just a few days of rest for Hyun Joong afterall.

SS501 Kim HyunJoong speedy recovery from H1N1 influenza and will be stretching into activities.

Kim HyunJoong went to a studio located in Gangnam Seoul on 19th to check his condition i.e voice, etc. Kim HyunJoong is warming up for the making of their new album planned to be released end of this month. Kim HyunJoong also went into discussions with the other SS501 members on this day regarding the activities planning, etc.

His company said “Kim HyunJoong is not back to the perfect condition yet, so he will not be doing any recordings. This is purely a condition check for him. Kim HyunJoong met with the members whom he haven’t seen in a while after he returned to Korea, they talked about what happened recently and showed a much healthier look of himself.”

Kim HyunJoong was diagnosed with H1N1 influenza on 8th and received medical treatment in Japan until he recovered and returned back to Korea on 16th where he is currently recuperating at home.

Korea popular group SS501's Kim HyunJoong participated in SBS variety show 'Family Outing' showing his excellent skills. This episode received wide attention due to the appearance of Kim HyunJoong who was diagnose with AH1N1 in Japan early this month.

In the program, there was a special dating moment for Kim HyunJoong and Lee Hyori picking vegetable together. On their way, while chatting with Lee Hyori and found out that he stepped on faeces, Kim HyunJoong said: "Last time when noona and I were in the same management company, there was once we had to take the same car with Fin.K.L, when going up the car, I also accidentally stepped on faeces."

Lee Hyori said: "Is it? No wonder, during that time there was definitely some unpleasant smell." Follow by that, Kim HyunJoong said: "Once I met noona, I will step on faeces." When he noticed that she was not very happy about that, he added: "Stepping on faeces will bring good luck!" showing his wits in reacting to situation.

On the other hand, absent due to his accident, BigBang member DaeSung, during his telephone conversation with Kim HyunJoong said: "I originally wanted to have a competition with Kim HyunJoong based on our looks." His words had caused all family members to convulse with laughters.

SBS will broadcast the continuation of Kim HyunJoong in 'Family Outing' on 27 Sept 2009.

Today I experienced a small bit of happiness, erm… it was nothing much actually
Earlier today our manager gave me a call suddenly,
In an anxious voice, in a very anxious voice, (he said)


“HYUNG JUN AH! KYU JONG is such and such” (manager was describing Kyu Jong’s “sick” condition to him)

Suddenly hearing news that one of the members had fallen sick,
And it is not any other member… it is Kyu Jong. He had fallen sick and is in such a condition.. Hak..
I was really very surprised when I heard the news


“AH…. REALLY..? (almost crying ㅠ_ㅠ)”


I was really upset and suddenly I was overwhelmed by my emotions…
No matter what, he is one of us (the members), and someone who like a brother to me is sick. Many tears welled up and I cried. Exceedingly….
I was really very very upset… Ah… a big thing (something serious) has happened…I thought this way…
