I was just about to create a thread for her but anyways, Nadine will have her lead role in "IKAW SA PUSO KO" together with James Blanco and Oyo Boy Sotto. The series will replace "WALANG HANGGAN" and will start airing on Mar. 1, 2004.
Nadine will also star in LOVE2LOVE: Kissing Beauty, wherein she'll be paired up to Dion Ignacio. She'll also play Angel Locsin's sister. The series will start airing on Mar. 7, 2004.

"StarStruck" Avenger Nadine Samonte could hardly believe her luck. Aside from finishing with a P50,000 cash prize in the country’s first-ever reality-based artista search and inking a deal with the GMA Artists Center, she now gets the chance to topbill her own drama series, "Ikaw sa Puso Ko," for TAPE, Inc. and act alongside more established young stars like Angel Locsin, Cogie Domingo, Dennis Trillo, Karen de los Reyes and AJ Eigenmann, in the third season of the twinbill series, "Love to Love," Sundays, 2:30 p.m., on GMA-7.
The eldest in a brood of three, 15-year-old Nadine (real name: Nadine Eidloth), had to defy her German father’s wishes just so she could realize her dream to become a serious actress.

"When you make ligaw kasi, that means you are putting your best foot forward just to impress the girl. In my case, I show her what I really am. I’ll do everything to show I care for her. It’s up to her to appreciate it or not."It’s easy to see why he’s attracted to the pretty and talented Nadine, whose real name is Nadine Eidloth. Samonte is the screen name given by her manager, Jeffrey Gamil.My dad is German who lives in a town near Frankfurt in Germany," says Nadine. "That’s why I find my role as Rufa Mae Quinto’s junkie mother in ‘Masikip sa Dibdib’ perfectly suited for me. Naka-relate ako. I also have a younger lover here, si Kier Legaspi, and that happened to me, too, in real life. But everything changed for the better when I met the Lord. Without Him guiding me, I could have been worse.""Masikip sa Dibdib" is a rollicking comedy but it tackles a very serious issue: dysfunctional families. Rufa Mae plays the self-sacrificing daughter of Gina who will do everything to help her family. Aside from Gina being an addict, her father (Bernard Bonnin) is a philanderer who will have kids with other women then bring his illegitimate to Rufa Mae for her to raise. Their grandfather (Tita Swarding) is also irresponsible and has his own vices."Everything we show in the movie really happens to many families," says director Joyce Bernal. "Rufa Mae herself experienced this with her own family where she is the breadwinner. Some of the incidents we portray in the movie really happened to Rufa Mae and some of her family members.""Even if the movie makes you laugh," says Gina, "I hope it will also be an eye-opener for people who are into alcohol or drugs and become a burden to their families. The movie also shows there’s truth in the saying that no matter what happens, you’ll always have your family to fall back on."Gina says she loves working with Rufa Mae, who’s co-producing the movie with Viva Films. "She’s a good producer because she’s very considerate to the small people in the industry na nabigyan niya ng trabaho. I also appeared as her mom in ‘Booba’ and even then, magaling na siyang umarte. Rufa Mae plays the self-sacrificing daughter of Gina who will do everything to help her family. Aside from Gina being an addict, her father (Bernard Bonnin) is a philanderer who will have kids with other women then bring his illegitimate to Rufa Mae for her to raise. She also has an older brother (John Lapus) who is also a womanizing addict. She has a half-sister (Sunshine Dizon) who is an alcoholic and very quarrelsome. Their grandfather (Tita Swarding) is also irresponsible and has his own vices."Everything we show in the movie really happens to many families," says director Joyce Bernal. "Rufa Mae herself experienced this with her own family where she is the breadwinner. Some of the incidents we portray in the movie really happened to Rufa Mae and some of her family members.""Even if the movie makes you laugh," says Gina, "I hope it will also be an eye-opener for people who are into alcohol or drugs and become a burden to their families. The movie also shows there’s truth in the saying that no matter what happens, you’ll always have your family to fall back on."Gina says she loves working with Rufa Mae, who’s co-producing the movie with Viva Films. "She’s a good producer because she’s very considerate to the small people in the industry na nabigyan niya ng trabaho. I also appeared as her mom in ‘Booba’ and even then, magaling na siyang umarte. But I notice that she’s an even better actress now. "In our dramatic scenes, lumalaban talaga siya ng iyakan and you can see tears gushing out of her eyes. Actually, bagay kaming mag-ina dahil pareho kaming masikip ang dibdib," adds Gina who sports a 44-C bra.Gina is also happy because her daughter, Jannica Pareño, also gets to appear in the movie as the wife of Rudy Hatfield, the guy Rufa Mae loves so much. Jannica has appeared in some movies made by Viva Films before but she left showbiz when she fell in love and got married. Her husband died in a tragic car accident last year, so she is now making a comeback."I really want to thank my mom for being there during that big crisis in my life," she says. "She was the one who encouraged me to act again and go on with my life."

There have been rumors that Oyo ‘Boy’ Sotto allegedly confronted StarStruck Avenger, Tyron Perez inside the GMA-7 compound. The reason? Tyron was said to made a snide remark on Oyo on the show, "Stage 1: Live." But Tyron denies it. He admits that he was asked by a fan to comment on Oyo and co-StarStruck Avenger, Nadine Samonte because the two are always seen together. Tyron, who honestly says that he has a big crush on Nadine, never said anything bad or offensive against Oyo. "Kahit na panoorin pa nila ulit ‘yung episode na iyon, wala akong sinabing masama tungkol kay Oyo," defends Tyron. But it was not how Oyo sees it. People close to him gave him a different story that’s why he confronted Tyron when they were inside the GMA-7 compound. People who witnessed the scene said that Oyo wanted to start a fight with Tyron. But Tyron did not give in to Oyo’s childish act. "Tahimik na tao ‘yang si Tyron," says our source. "He never starts fights unless he’s provoked. Mabuti na lang at hindi niya pinatulan si Oyo. Champion sa kickboxing ‘yang si Tyron. Baka mapahiya lang si Oyo kapag pinatulan siya ni Tyron. We’ve seen the last episode featured in “Stage 1: The Starstruck Playhouse,” “Luvsick Hearts,” starring Nadine Samonte and Dion Ignacio.They play two leukemia patients who consider each other as a mere best friend and deny their love for each other.We must say that after watching them together, we can’t help but notice that among all the “Starstruck” new discoveries, they actually seem to be the most promising.They look good together and have better chemistry than the winners who now form their own love team, Mark Herras and Jennylyn Mercado or Rainier Castillo and Yasmien Kurdi.We just don’t know if the fans would support them since Nadine is also paired with Oyo Boy Sotto in the afternoon soap, “ Ikaw sa Puso Ko,” which is rating very well.

I've seen her last wednesday at Rustan's Alabang. I was strolling with my classmates when we came across Nadine.She was with her mom at that time.She's so simple!She was just wearing a tee & shorts and flip flops. She's like a barbie doll in person!!I envy her skin!It's pinkish and flawless.She didn't even had her make up on that time
